Nice product esp in the price range.You will still need to buy adapter for Canon.Get the nice Tiffen adapter made for a60, 70, 75 & 80.IT accepts 37mm, this will fit perfect. Great 2x telephoto lens with only a few problems
I recently bought this telephoto lens to use with my powershot A70. It works great at the last 2 zoom levels. At the first few zoom levels there is a little bit of picture corruption but that is a problem with all telephoto lens, not just this one. The only thing I didn't like about this lens is that the front accepts filters in 46mm. I wish it used either 52mm or 37mm. Anyways, that problem can be solved with a keep step up and step down rings. This lens does its job great. It comes with 2 lens caps, a cap for each side of it. Useful Within Limits
Do not expect this to replace the zoom from your camera. It will not do that nor was it intended to do so. What it does do is optically bring things a little bit closer. This is certainly preferably to using the digital zoom that comes with so many cameras.

HD wide angle lens
Good addition to the hdr-hc1 HD camcorder; especially for indoors where you would want to get more people in the shot. A bit pricey and hard to find since Sony discontinued the hdr-hc1 but amazon pricing was the best around.

For Sony HD camcorder- very desirable item
Strongly consider this if you have one of the Sony HDV camcorders this is made for. I rate this as second to extra batteries in your "must have" accessory kit. Used to expand the field of view in most indoor applications. Of course it works great outdoors too. Not as aggressive as some of the others, such as Century Optics, but not nearly as expensive. Far higher quality than the other lower priced ones.

Totally worth it!
The lenses are excellent and have a very professional finish. The "free" protector lense is really usefull when going outdoors. It all came in a very compact case that you can carry along with your camera. A PL filter is the first thing to buy after the camera!

Polarizer
I have dealt with better filters in the past.It just so happens this filter works with the 2 cameras i have and no other.I like what it does, but it isnt as strong as what i have dealt with before.Still great quality and a great buy.

Great price and must have for the F-828
Ill keep it simple here since we are only talking about filters. For the price you get two filters that are pretty much necessary for the enthusiast photgrapher. They both seem to be up to Sony quality. Keep in mind that you can use both filters at the same time but that you will experience some viengetting in the corners at the wide angle setting of the lens. So just use one at a time unless you dont mind haveing the corners blurred out. This isn't a defect, this would occur with any filters if you doubled them up, its just an FYI. The polarizer work great, its a good value for both.

I like that the protection filter is threaded so you can screw a conversion lens right over it, rather than having to use one or the other.

Great for day trips
The Handycam fits inside snuggly with the battery attached. It's great for day tripping when you don't want to carry a big bag but you want the camera safe.Feels as though it would take a drop very well.

Sony VCL0637S Wide Conversion Lens x0.6 for 37mm Diameter Lenses
This really helps you to acheive wide angle where the built in Autofocus lenses can't. The only thing is there is considerable curve distortion up close. From far away you won't notice it as much. This is a characteristic of many wide angle lenses below a certain focal length. Its a good buy. I just wish the other wide angle accessories that Sony offers were as reasonable in price! They are very over priced if they want to keep the market they should shift their prices tobe more affordable on accessories!!!!!

Great lens
I bought this for my new HDV FX1 Camcorder, and it works great.Unlike the Century wide-angle lens, this is fully zoom-through.Lens is .8x, which is less than the Century and others, but just about right for HD--since the FX1 already can do a pretty decent wide shot when the zoom is fully backed out, this just gives it an extra boost, convert the camera from roughly a 35mm lens on a 35mm camera to about a 28mm.Also, very little barrel distortion.
