5-0 out of 5 stars OSOM
I have been using it for almost a year, I got it for my mother, she loves it.
2-0 out of 5 stars Very disappointed
I used to have a sony 3.2 megapixel camera, which broke when it was dropped, so replaced it with the P200.I had taken a lot of photos I was happy with with the previous camera, so was expecting to be as happy with this one as I was with the old one, if not happier, given the improved resolution. However, while I'm no professional photographer, I seem to end up with many more out of focus or blurred pictures with this camera than I did with the other one - probably > 80% are ruined, but it's hard to tell that on the screen on the back, so you lose a lot of treasured moments. In addition, I often find that the flash illuminates the scene before the picture is taken, and so the pictures are often underexposed. This happens a lot, and is almost impossible to compensate for, which is very frustrating.I cannot recommend this camera, and will try a different brand next time.

2-0 out of 5 stars 50% Handy, 50% Junk
I bought this camera to take photos of my paintings to print off. I had read reviews about the camera being blurry at times, but I never thought it'd be a problem since I don't have very shaky hands. Yet even standing still, I had problems with getting crisp pictures with accurate colors. I skimmed through several of the different settings, but the camera still produced inconsistent results. Some of the photos looked great while others I immediately deleted. In the end, I went back to my old reliable digital camera.

5-0 out of 5 stars This Camera Has A WIDE ANGLE Lens
If you are interested in portable digital point and shoot cameras, since Canon discontinued the Power Shot S-80, this one is one of THREE digital point and shoot cameras on the market that I know of that have a "true" WIDE ANGLE lens of 28mm! (The other is: The Canon Power Shot SD800 IS for [...]----and another one is Kodak EasyShare V570 which has a 23mm lens and sells for about [...])
4-0 out of 5 stars Great wide-angle lens and 16:9 format in a stylish, pocketable camera
I love this camera. I originally bought it for my wife but I've been using it more than she has. The wide-angle lens is great and I value it much more than a big zoom. It's great for close-up shots, group photos, and landscapes. The 16:9 format is great for landscapes, sunsets, etc. The display is clear and bright but a little slow.
5-0 out of 5 stars PERFECT!!!Have fun with movies and wide angle lens!
So first, this camera does show very noticeable noise in low light/ high iso.

5-0 out of 5 stars 8MP's in my pocket
What can I say? This is the third Olympus camera I have owned.I don't think I will ever buy another brand. The SP-350 packs a whopping 8 megapixels into a tiny case that fits easily in pants pockets. The large LCD display produces sharp previews that can be zoomed and panned.I can't say enough about the image quality of the photos. There are plenty of settings for tweaking to get the right results almost every time.
5-0 out of 5 stars Another Great Olympus Advancement
This makes my fourth digital camera from Olympus. With each new camera the quality gets better and the price, lower. This camera has many wonderful features and is a joy to handle. The picture quality is excellent. Like most new technology items, Apple products aside, learning the menus and such may be a bit intimidating for the newbies.

5-0 out of 5 stars Power and Performance in a little black box.
Huge LCD and DC power make this a great camera for professional use. As an Ebay seller my photos are my lifeblood, and this camera treats me very well. Good price and great pictures. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great experience
I looked at a lot of options to replace a great Canon digicam.Having started my love of photography as an analog SLR user, I have grown to enjoy the spontaneous photos I get with a point and shoot digital camera. In the end I decided against a "bigger" camera and chose the Leica for the wider lense, the image stabilization and, yes, the prestige of the brand.
5-0 out of 5 stars Flexible features, excellent quality.
The Leica C-LUX 1 is a little pricey, but you get an excellent, solid camera, easy to use right out of the box.I'm 70 years old and was dead set against getting a digital camera ("you can't teach an old dog to do new tricks" school of thought) But this camera sold itself.I use a photoelectric (no cord) slave flash if I need more flash, although the on-camera flash seems adequate for a small room. The manual is easy to follow for starting to take pictures,And there is further instruction for the great variety of applications this camera is able to perform.I have the black one, although there is a silver body available.I bought the "kit" which included an extra rechargable battery and a very nice leather case for under $70.00.Picture quality is outstanding due to the incredible quality of the Leica lens and good programmed exposure and distance controls. At my age, I think this is probably a "lifetime" purchase, but who needs more for the next 50 years?

5-0 out of 5 stars Tiny Leica Performer
I bought this camera to augment my Nikon D-200, (which I love), although it is too big to tote around casually. But the Leica c lux is almost too small! It is smaller than it looks in the pictures, about the sixe of my cell phone, but packs a punch. The shutter is slower and takes some getting used to, but it catches inages with superb clarity and is very easy to use and carry. Ipassed on the $70 Leica case and opted for one by SONY for $22, and I carry it on my belt like a phone. I wore it while playing golf this morning and came back with sixty images. The battery lasts a long time, maybe 4 hours, and the camera quickly darts back and forth between modes. As for whether the Panasonic is just as good, sorry. The build quality of the Leica is far above the Panasonic version, and it is a real gem to look at and handle. It has re-energized my love of photography, and I will continue to carry it at all times to capture the kinds of pictures that i used to miss. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome camera for new and experienced users!
I got my first digital camera a couple years ago, and as I learned more about digital cameras I started to search for a new one. Then I stumbled on the Olympus FE-130. I just bought it recently, and it lived up to all my expectations! It has many unique shooting modes so you can achieve the right setting, has an excellent display screen, and takes quality pictures (5.1 MP is great!) The only problem is that it doesn't have a view finder, and it doesn't have a black and white color setting mode (at least, I haven't found it yet!) Overall, this camera is worth the money and I highly recommend it to any photography lover.

5-0 out of 5 stars AWESOME LITTLE CAMERA
Very pleased with my new camera. It's compact with a large viewing screen and an amazing helpful guide.Very user friendly. The video functionality is crisp and clear as well the pictures.I bought this one for work and may buy another for me at home.I highly recommend this one!

4-0 out of 5 stars good little camera
In bright daylight the FE-130 takes bright crisp pictures with vivid colors. At night, the flash provides plenty of light at medium to close range. The "night mode" (which keepts the shutter open for several seconds while snapping a quick flash) is a neat feature that I've enjoyed using as well.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Sleeper Among Digicams!
I must agree with the first reviewer, Steve Smart. This is really a sleeper of a cam about which few know or to which fewer still pay any serious attention. No, it's not a branded big name, but Samsung is gradually making their name heard in the digicam world with their most recent offerings, stylistic, and very functional designs.
5-0 out of 5 stars Solid ultra-compact camera, best-in-class for it's price
I took a chance on this little camera after reading reviews on CNET and at Steve's Digicams. It is every bit as good as the Canon Digital Elph I had previously (the Canon died of the E18 error), but almost 100 dollars cheaper.

Editorial Review

The Kodak Easyshare Z740 camera is ideal for people who want to get close to their subject but enjoy the simplicity of a point-and-shoot digital camera. Its powerful 10x (38-380mm equivalent) Kodak Retinar aspheric, all-glass optical zoom lens can quickly zero in on a small object or distant scene, picking up the detail, color, and textures that a less powerful lens would overlook. The 1.8-inch, high-resolution, indoor/outdoor LCD screen and electronic viewfinder are designed for previewing a scene or reviewing and sharing shots just taken.Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars My little money maker..
I love this camera. It is the second digital camera I have owned by Kodak and like the first one, never had one regret.I bought this camera for several reasons:
1-0 out of 5 stars Only lasted 14 months
This was my first digital camera. It took great pictures. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!! My mother and a friend each bought the same camera from my recommendation.
5-0 out of 5 stars Best Camera for the price
We bought this camera before our vacation to Alaska.I researched several before purchasing and decided on this one based on the reviews and the fact that it had the 10x zoom.I cannot tell you how happy we are with this camera.. it is amazing. We took almost 500 pictures in Alaska and our family and friends think the pictures look like postcards.Other relatives on our trip had other models of digital cameras and their pictures did not compare to the quality of the ones we took.

5-0 out of 5 stars You're going to love this outfit
My first digital SLR was the D70. I stayed with slides a long time, 30 years. But with digital I had more keepers at the end of the day. Everything good about digital is enhanced by this package. Everything good that you've heard is true. Get in line. It took me 6 months to get this one. You'll have a ball.

5-0 out of 5 stars Already one of the great ones.A great deal.
The Nikon D200 is a professional camera which is also aimed at the serious amateur digital photographer. It is essentially the upgrade unit from the D100/D70s, and it incorporates solid improvements over those excellent cameras.
5-0 out of 5 stars I love this camera
My advice is to buy an extra battery and a 2MB memory card. Other than that, I love this camera. I am often complimented on the image quality and many functions of the Nikon D200.I highly recommend it to experienced photographers (it is a bit complex for those used to a point-and-shoot). ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Great Camera!
I wanted a compact camera to have with me all the time. The anti-shake feature was an attraction, but it is not worth much because basically it ramps up the sensor so that you can use a faster shutter speed- it is not true vibration reduction. The lens is not the fastest. It has limitations...but I have owned two other Casios (one sold and the one I upgraded to stolen) and new that for handling, user interface, compactness and durability they were unbeatable. I use this camera in the clinic and for casual photos at parties and travel...it does a beautiful job! A Nikon D2x it's not, but the fancy Fuji E900 that I have is usually left at home!

1-0 out of 5 stars A massive waste of time and money
This camera seemed perfect for me, the casual photographer who just wants to preserve memories. It is very attractive and small, and I loved the large LCD screen. Unfortunately, after using it for a month without a problem, I made the massive error of putting my computers on the computer. After removing the camera from the USB - and yes, I did it safely, I'm not new to this - the camera would not turn on. I recharged the battery, let it sit, and said prayers - nothing. I exchanged it for another one, which worked fine for a month. And then guess what happened?
3-0 out of 5 stars Great camera with a bulky charger and non-standard USB
I do love this camera, but why does it come with a clumsly non-compact charger? My previous camera was a Cannon and the charger hasd a neat, compact charger with a flip out wall plug, perfect for a compact camera. If I am buying a camera because it is compact, I certainly don't want to lug around a charger with a bulky 8 foot cord attached. Also, this camera does not have a standard mini-USB/USB cord for downloading the pictures to a computer. It has a 'special' plug end for the camera. I like the common cord becasue its easy to and convient to share pictures--almost everyone has a standard cord laying around.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great GIRL POWER camera!..... at least the purple one.
I was 13 decades ago - just didn't want to use my name.
5-0 out of 5 stars Amazing camera
All I have to say is this is a great digital camera, and I've had a few of them.I just took it on vacation to AZ with me - my first use of the camera and I came home with fantastic images and videos.I had no problems with the camera at all, and never even had to charge the battery or go to the extra, charged battery I brought along with me.I purchased the little battery charger so that I wouldn't have to take along the camera cradle and I advise anyone to buy it.It's very tiny and works great. You cannot go wrong with this camera. It's great at auto so you can just point-and-shoot and enjoy, or very manual if you feel like futzing with it.Also, it's just a very cool looking camera and very sturdy.Even though it's so tiny, I didn't feel like I was going to break it, bull-in-a-china-shop that I am.It was a bit odd getting used to having no veiw-finder to look through, and keep putting the camera up to my eye a few times!

4-0 out of 5 stars smaller than a Video Ipod (5G)
The Sd40 is now out for $350.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great camera, low price
This camera is fantastic! When I compare printed photos from this camera with other 5MP cameras, I find the quality superior. The battery lasted for a week in the Bahamas with no recharge and several hundred pictures taken (just follow the directions and use the proper batteries!!) The printer dock is easy to use and prints very nice quality pictures fairly quickly. The cost is about $0.30 per print, but a great deal if your looking for high quality prints immediately! I think this camera is great!!

2-0 out of 5 stars Disappointment
This camera is fine for simple outdoor photography, but anything overcast, in motion or requiring any variation of focus will yield a disappointing outcome. This camera is all but useless indoors--I certainly regret having taken it with me to Europe this summer, it was not worth its weight in luggage.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fine camera for it's size.
I have had lots of complements on the pictures I have taken with this camera.I even got fine night shots of the Mackinaw Bridge all lit up and without a tripod. For those who can't take a good picture with it I suggest they read the manual and practice before counting on it.I do think the color reproduction is a little better at 3 mega pix than 5 but not enough to say so.

1-0 out of 5 stars Great Camera, Horrible Pictures
About one in five pictures comes out perfectly. The others suck. I had a Nikon Coolpix before and really thought I was trading up with this one, but it is really bad.
1-0 out of 5 stars it is horrible
I bought this camera nearly year ago, worst camera I ever bought, it blurs out images if some one is moving especially if the mode is auto. You expect it works better if you taking pictures casually in auto mode, but it is not. It is dissapointing that sony made real bad one like this.Do not bugy camera if you planning to take picture during night time, the pictures end up with white shadow patches(big circular spots). The flash is useless for > 4-5 feet. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Good quality close up shots but shutter speed extremely slow
The shutter speed on this camera is way to slow. In my opinion, this camera is good only for still, close up shots. I'm going to return it. Very disappointing.

5-0 out of 5 stars extremely good for non-action shots
We bought this camera online, refurbished.Everything functioned correctly. It does not offer shutter speed adjustment, which is the only thing that annoys me, because the camera chooses slow(er) shutter speeds, unless you point the thing directly at a lightbulb. (Which, I might add, it took an excellent picture of) So action shots are not it's specialty. However, macro shots, and pretty much everything else works great.

2-0 out of 5 stars great for non-action shots
I bought this camera to replace a Kodak that was stolen.I bought it because it had (at the time) a higher than normal zoom (6x) and got decent reviews. After owning it for a year, I can say definitively that I LOVE it for macro shots and still photography.I HATE it for 2 reasons- it has an electronic viewfinder and not just a lens viewfinder and I HATE it for taking pictures of anything requiring any kind of quick response- the shutter takes around a second to respond and you will miss MANY shots. This is just not acceptable for me while trying to take pictures of my kids. For the first time in my life I am looking to buy another electronic item without the first one breaking, being stolen, or being outdated! If you only want to take still shots, this is a great camera. But if you want to take any pictures that include movement- find something with a quicker shutter response time. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Great little snapshot camera for the money
Don't know what the low raters were doing with their cameras or perhaps they just got bad ones.
5-0 out of 5 stars Amazing, if you know how to use it!!!
I got this camera a couple of weeks ago. I'm a teen, and my mom made me spend my own money for the camera and the rechargeable batteries. So I needed something affordable, but well worth my money!!!! After spending days and days of researching, with absolutely NO help from any siblings or parents, I decided to get this camera. I urge you to see the pictures other members of Amazon have uploaded, to see the great clarity you get with these pictures.
3-0 out of 5 stars Not bad for a cheap camera
This is my first digital camera. All in all I would have to say it doesn't take that bad of pictures for a point and click. It has a few effects that are fun to play with but I haven't had the opportunity to play with them all. The camera does have two down sides that I've noticed so far... it eats up batteries quickly and the closeup feature does not work well enough. For photos on the go it's fine.. stock up on batteries. For me it serves my purpose for the time being, but don't even try to get artsy. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars I finally found my Digital SLR
I've been looking at Digital SLRs ever since Canon came out with its 10D. Since then, there have been so many by so many companies. I've always been a Canon user. I have had 2 EOS bodies-the Elan IIE and the 7E. And also the Canon IX, its APS camera which I still have (its small viewfinder was a major disappointment).
5-0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Love This Camera
First of all I do not consider myself anything more than a very beginning photographer !!! So I will not go into anything technical.I will leave that to people who know more than I do. But what I am is an international traveler.I simply got tired of coming home from fantastic trips with "snapshots".I wanted someting much better, and boy did I get it with this camera.I looked at the D70s and since I have very small hands, I could never feel comfortable holding it.This camera is smaller without being small.I have only taken photos locally, but at this time of the year with the leaves changing it makes a good start. The built in editing features (filters etc.) are wonderful to work with.I would highly recommend this camera to anyone who wants something more than "point and shoot" snap shots.

5-0 out of 5 stars Nikon Just became the top dog!
Hey there friends SiNMiN here with just a short word about this fantastic camera. I have been shooting cameras one way or another now for a living for nearly 15 years. I remember the days when we all dreamed of digital cameras and once we had them we dreamed of days like these! First let me say that I come from the uniqe perspective of having shot and worked on nearly every barnd and type of camera available at one time or another! So I have no Brand loyalty to speak of! I'm loyal to my pictures not cameras. At the time of writing this my D80 is on the way to me, I am making these remarks based on some tests I ran using a D80 and my D200.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent camera for active people needing quality and simplicity
I have been using this camera in every outdoor situation imaginable save for underwater and pouring rain, and it has performed admirably. The 1 gig card gave me over 330 exposures on high mode and 660ish on normal mode.A quick turn around in the stands at the Tigers game last night produced a real sharp and lovely photo of my friends in Sepia.
4-0 out of 5 stars I had bad luck at first....
I had the unfortunate experience of having a problem with my camera. For the most part, it took great pictures. However, if I took a picture of a light object, a white wall for instance, there was a dark circular spot in the center. It looked like a dark shadow. So I had to return the camera and I bought another one and it works fine.It takes great pictures and love it.It's easy for a beginner.Good luck!

1-0 out of 5 stars Good but minimal Flash
Flash system isn't up to the job.Indoor pics over ten feet are dark(black even) & all are mostly red.Maybe i got a bad one, seemed like the shutter and flash don't work together. Outdoor pics are fine. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars All Good but Shipping
For the price of this Item I should not have had to wait 8 Buisness days for it, with the price I paid Hundreds of dollars it should have been overnighted. At the most 3 days. Shows lack of concern for the buyer.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Point-and-Shoot Digital Around
I have been an amateur/pro photographer for 20 years.Started out with the Konica 35mm, then the Canon AE1 and also Minolta. My first digital camera was the Canon G4, and altho I was overall pleased with the pictures, I could see improvements that had to be made -- faster shutter speed, removal of more red-eye, etc.My husband bought a Canon A520, and after using it for 3 weeks, we returned it.Just couldn't see that it was much better than the G4.Then got the Olympus Stylus 800.Wow, what a difference.Powers on quickly, and you can quickly capture the picture without a shutter lag.Red-eye is reduced.Very easy to use.I took 3 practice pictures with it, and then ended up taking pictures at beach sunset wedding. They turned out awesome.Especially noticed the good color rendition when photographing Afro-Americans, Caucasians, and even Caucasians with sunburns.Every individual turned out crisp and clear features, even when shooting at night with the flash.I had it on auto except for when shooting the sunset scene -- switched to that scene mode -- and the color rendition was awesome.
4-0 out of 5 stars Great Camera - but only shoot at highest settings!
I've had this camera for about four months and shot over 13000 pictures with it. I do aerial photography with kites and balloons, so I send the thing up about 200 feet into the air. I've taken similar shots in all different modes and consistently found that if it's set to the highest resolution with minimal compression, you get absolutely amazing shots. However, if you adjust it down at all, you get an amazing mess.

4-0 out of 5 stars To be a great small consumer camera it would need optical stabilization
This isn't a full review but some thoughts I've had after using it for a long time.
5-0 out of 5 stars Fantastic compact camera
The EXZ750 is simply a fantastic compact camera. It takes great pictures, even greater if you bother to use one of the many picture presets (scenery, portrait, macro, etc.).
4-0 out of 5 stars excellent little camera
Very small size (fits in my baggy jean pocket), fast startup, fast response when shooting picture. Much easier to carry around than my Canon G3.
