7 out of 23 of these discs turned into coasters, at 8x speed with my Powerbook G4.(The other two discs had data corruption.)That's unacceptable, and I'll never buy Verbatim again.

First flash drive and I'm loving it
Like the title say's this is my first flash drive and it's very easy to use.Now I'm only using it for Codebreaker but who knows I might use it for something else since it's so easy to use.I did have a problem dl'ing the hardware but I fixed the problem and now WinME is recognizing it just fine.
Great portability
I've used this Jumpdrive Sport for two years now, and it has worked flawlessly.As a computer instructor, I carry data to and from classes and continually use this drive to reinstall or add items to student PC's.The cap is secure, dirt proof, has withstood sprinkler-wet pockets, and the grind of being attached to my keychain all this time.Yesterday, the attachment loop finally wore through, but Lexar's site itself offered a batch of 5 new caps for about four bucks.These should get me through another several years...

Installation and Performance and Support
I'm not at all impressed with the product, ease of installation, performance or tech support.Granted, I have Win98 but I still can't recommend the product.It took two hrs to install it using a chat link with tech support.Instructions on web address given on product are worthless.English was so poor on tech support instructions I had to study them closely to figure out what they meant.Now that it is installed, when I try to open it about every other time I get the message no such drive exists.Today I was told it needed to be formatted.When this happens I have to reboot.If I tried to reformat it said I'd lose all data.It is a nuisance and when i do get new computer I'll get new flash drive, too.Don't recommend it!!!!! ... i ve purchased it for my telescope's eyepieces , at first it was hard to clean the fingerprints , dirt and all that stuff with a hand cloth and a glass cleaner but after i ve clean them up with this pen , my eyepieces looked brand-new , both sides of the pen is useful but the only thing i didn't like about this item is it won't clean my 2.3mm 4mm and 6mm eyepieces perfectly , because the tip of the pen designed for cameras,camcorders and binoculars you know for the big lenses , if you have one of these eyepieces you might wanna get something else..
My expectations were blown away
I decided to try this out after wasting many hours trying to get my lenses looking brand-new again with a cleaning cloth and solution, which was really annoying and kept leaving streaks that weren't even there to begin with. So, I ordered a LensPen and figured I'd give it a shot. I was skeptical at first, but let me tell you; I will never use anything other than this to clean my lenses again. Period. It literally cleans the lens instantly and takes no effort at all. Plus, having the retractable brush was a nice touch. This thing works, and it works well. If you hate cleaning your lenses the conventional way, give this a shot. You won't be disappointed.

Good piece for the price.
Used to photograph a wedding last weekend.It makes all the difference in stabilizing my shaky hands.Easy to use and sensible.The tilt head is a little awkward.Got this after returning one from Best buy that had pull out/collasible bottom three tele's.This one much more stable although I like the ball adjust on top of the other better.

This monopod does a great job for my camera. You have the quick, easy-off, it attatches to your camera by a screw, and you can press the button on the side of the monopod and just slide your camera right off of it quickly. I wanted a nice, inexpensive monopod for my new zoom lense. I have a Canon 35mm, and I recently purchased a 75-300 zoom lense for it, and I needed a monopod to stabilize the shoot. If I knew then what I know now, I would buy it again. Nice product.

Very light, portable, cheap but the manufacturer quality is bad.
The minute I took the monopod out of cover it broke. The mounting head fell apart from the leg. The glue they use is very bad. I didn't return the product because I think the replacement would be the same quality and it was not worth the affords. I just fixed it myself. ... Read more

Very Versatile & Handy
I bought this about 3 years back when i had a Sony camera & I used 512 MB Memory stick Pro & Pro Duo cards. Later, I got a Canon SD 700 & now I'm using a 4 GB SD Card. I also have a Motorola Phone with a Micro SD Card. This has always been handy, saved my camera battery, and allowed me to copy files to my devices.

Thank God, it works!
I bought two of these for my Dell Inspiron 8500.They actually worked (both of them ;-D), and well, too.I use a Philips SDVD6004 DVD-Burner (on an Inspiron 8500), and these Sony disks work infinitely better than the Memorex DVD+R's (I burned 6 coasters- out of all 6 burn attempts- using the Memorex DVD's). Excelent
Discs works quite well. No problem using my Sony DRU 500-A DVD burner.

Works fine with Philips products

Excellent player for Hi8 and Regular 8
I am in the middle of a project to get all my many "old" Regular 8 and Hi-8 recordings onto hard drives and thence onto DVD's.In the midst of all this old my Sony CVD-1000 died on me, and I have, over the years, spent too much on repairs for it.This led me to the Digital 8mm Walkman.I have NOT used it, and will not use it, for RECORDING (I do not record in Digital 8 format).But for playback it is superb.I am very pleased with what it does. very. I suspect that some of my satisfaction comes from the Sony introduction of video-processing circuitry, which evidently cleans up the images remarkably.However, there is a price: some of my "pans" now involve a degree of blurring, which I do not think are present when played "unprocessed". But I have decided I am more than willing to accept this negative in face of the excellent video I am now capturing.So my five stars are based SOLELY on playback. One can cut out the video processing if one wishes; it is quite easy. Incidentally, the small size of this unit is a welcome plus; my workbench is already quite crowded with equipment, and I appreciate the Walkman's very small footprint greatly!

Worth the purchase
I know DV and Mini Dv is now the "standard" however I find it hard to tell the difference between the D8 footage and DV. Image is crisp and clear. The sound quality excellent. I would recommend. If you want to keep your presnet cam but want the quality of the digital image this is the way to go. I highly recommend. Also it eases using your cam for playback so less wear and tear on your cam.

Pro-Level recorder with impeccable quality
This device has at least prosumer level recording and playback capabilities. I hooked it up to my 3CCD camera and the results were extremely satisfying when using the Digital 8 mode. It hooks right up to the computer with the 1394 connect and I can extract capture points, fast forward, rewind etc. by clicking the mouse. It supports 625 Horizontal lines of resolution which exceeds my hi-end camera and I can not express enough the clarity of the image. No specks of colored snow or artifacts dancing in the dark areas of the image as I previously had with my pro level SVHS recorder, only crisp, smooth, detailed image rendering. The sound quality is also excellent. For what I wanted it for,, it is better than perfect and for what I will also use it for it is a blessed device.. I highly recommend this recorder/player to anyone needing portability, quality, and professional results for mastering to video tape and of coarse for playback.. The only thing that scares me about this device is how light and small it is,, but at the same time, it's exactly what I need. Hope this info helps someone out there in deciding. Peace..

Durable Enough!
I'm a grad student so I rely utterly on this little piece of equipment to keep my work portable, accessible, and backed up. I've been using this 256 MB Lexar Jumpdrive for about a year now, and I have utterly abused it along the way! It goes absolutely everywhere with me on a keychain: in backpacks and purses, into the field and back again, and it's worked without a hitch in several computers of several ages, all along! I finally completely filled the drive. And now, right on time, the rubber cap is breaking down right where it attached to my keychain. As other users noted, the cracking is slow, so I had plenty of time to notice it, and not lose the thing. After reviewing the other "known" brands on Amazon(read: Sandisk and Memorex), I have to conclude that this one is probably one of the best flash drives available. Let's face it: small electronics are prone to failure eventually, and the fact that this one made it through my lifestyle for 1 year is impressive to me! I'm purchasing the 1 GB version!

Lexar 256 memory
I just bought another one because the last one gave me the "format error" mentioned by other reviewers. Otherwise, for the cost and the capacity, I am willing to give it another try. It did cause problems for me in my profession, but my clients allowed me to reshoot, and I need the extra space.There are not many choices of memory for those of us not willing to give up our old Sony DSC S85 cameras.These are no longer being manufactured so I guessLexar became aware of the problems. What can you do ?

Works Well - Enough Memory for the casual user
Certainly you would want 1mb+ of memory if you were on a long trip, or needed to make the equivelent of more than 50 pictures at 5mb (reasonably high resolution - good for up to 10x8 photos). Otherwise this is sufficient memory for most.
Good product - but go for a higher capacity!
Initially I was not too happy with the price of this memory stick because these 256MB sticks used to cost $65 in 2004! But it has worked so well and I am extra happy because I can stick them directly into my SONY VAIO PC, that I am hardly unhappy now about the pice drop. I have not had any memory problems/errors and the speed has been pretty good.

Works well with Canon S50
I had read somewhere that the Lexar Media Compact Flash HSS was optimized for the Canon S50.I have noticed that it saves files much faster to my S50 than my other brand name CF card.I have had a couple of instances of "unknown files" being saved to the card, but I'm not sure if that's a problem with the camera or the card and in any case I haven't lost any photographs.
Excellent Card for Nikon D70 Photography
Before purchasing a compact flash card, check the manual of the product you'd like to use it with. Some products are finicky about write acceleration (WA) technology, which may be why other reviewers are having problems. In addition, watch out for WA cards that exceed the capabilities of your product, because you may end up paying extra for speed that you cannot take advantage of. This flash card was recommended by the manual of my Nikon D70 digital SLR camera and I've been extremely happy with it. I'm able to fire off RAW images continuously and have yet to experience a buffering backlog or a write error.

Only memory card I've ever known that's failed
This card failed and needed to be returned to Lexar.It's been there two weeks already; online support suggest it should arrive this week.There's no good reason it should take longer than a day to test the card and send a new one.(Not to mention I'm out the cost of sending it their via Fedex).

The most durable, most extremely resiliant disks I have ever seen!
I have been using Panasonic's DVD-RAM disks with a Panasonic DVD recorder for video recording for around three years now. If you need a recordable DVD, you can't go wrong by choosing Panasonic's DVD-RAMs. They are extremely resiliant (literally!). I've got disks that are years old and the disks go through alot of rough handling. I've got little kids around who are always leaving the disks laying here and there, plus the closet where they are stored is non-insulated and goes through temperature extremes. Yet, I have never had one go corrupted and not one has ever gotten scratched. How's that for durability? Try that with Maxell, Memorex, or any other non-Panasonic brand of recordable DVD... and it probably wouldn't last for more than a month!

Great for the cost
This mic doesn't perform as well as a Shure or Sennheiser shotgun microphone, but it doesn't cost $999 either.I'm using it with a JVC DV camera, and a Behringer 10 channel mixer.It's well worth the money.For the best location sound, use this mic on a boom pole, and lavalier mics for each actor.I wasblown away with how much better the sound from this mic is than from the Shure dynamic (handheld) microphone I was using before.Read more

It has Everything!!
This mp3 player comes extremely well equipped with anything I could ask for: MP3, Radio, Video, Pictures, Voice recording, Line in audio, WMA, huge screen and more.

AVI files
I just wanted to point out to the guy that gave the PMP a bad review because he couldn't get an AVI file to play that AVI files CAN IN FACT BE ONE OF MANY DIFFERENT FORMATS.So unless a video player actually supports all the formats, you'll run into this with any player.And unless the company pays licensing fees for certain formats, the support will be shoddy.
Faulty Faulty Faulty!
I was given this as a gift for Christmas and just over 3 months after I recieved it, I put it on charge for a night, and came back to it and the screen had a dead spot in it. The next time I put it on charge, it completely messed up the whole screen to where now nothing is visible anymore. And the player only has a 90 day warranty, and when I tried to contact Iriver about the problem, I recieved no response. You will probable be better off buying an Ipod that plays both mp3s and videos instead of this product. ... Read more

Quality media stick
This is a good value and fast memory stick. I have used it in my Cybershot 7.2 MP camera and it's fast both for browsing shots and also taking video with the same camera.
LEXAR is the best...
I bought this one for my Sony DCS-W7 camera and it works great. I tried to take photos with the internal memory and with the memory stick. Result is almost the same. I could not notice any difference in quality unlike my old SD memory camera. The memory is in black unlike the picture and When I tried it on my card reader, it gives me a message saying unformatted disk space, but who cares since I can download the images using camera's USB cable!
