Excellent quality
Memorex media work extremely well with my burner (Philips DVD+RW DVD8631). I have used Memorex DVD+R discs many times before, and all the video discs I create work on my standalone player, my parents' player, and all of my friends' players as well. Even a cheap Funai DVD player manufactured in 2001 plays them.
Beware ...
The Memorex DVD+R 16x that I received were Taiwanese made CMC MAG M01. They are not the highest quality by any measure.On NERO quality scan, you get between a score of 40-75 (okay, upper 70s). I bought some ProDisc that scored in the 65-90 (and the 65 was only 1 disk, most in the upper 70 to 80). The Taiyo Yuden 8x was getting me 85-95 range. Too bad that Amazon does not carry (to my knowledge) the better ProDisc or Taiyo Yuden.

Burned several discs and applied full-surface labels.Didn't work in any of 3 players.Have burned a bunch since then w/out labels, and they seem to be OK.But if they're anything like the CDRs from Memorex, the without-label surfaces will chip away within a year and render the DVDs useless.

No problem with Sony here..
I have the Sony Handycam DVD201 and have used these exclusively and have had no problem whatsover.Great playback on the cam and dvd player as well as the computers we use.
Warning...Warning Sony DVD Camcorder Owners
On the back of the box, Memorex claims these work with Sony Dvd Camcorders.Yeah...they work until you get toward the end of your recording and the disc errors out.Will stick with Sony's Mini Dvd-R's since the disc which came with the camera worked flawlessly.Circuit City obviously knows something Memorex does not.....they list these on their site as compatible with NON-Sony Dvd Camcorders.From their site....
CAREFUL IF USING WITH SONY HANDYCAM!!
I recently purchased a Sony Handycam DCR-DVD 301, and had a tremendous disappointment on it's first use. We welcomed the arrival of our newborn son and used a MEMOREX dvd-r (which is supposed to be compatible) to record many special moments of his first three days at home. Included were his first home bath, first pediatricians appointment, clips from the first long nights, and other video from a proud papa. We planned on sending a copy of the DVD to his 80 yr. old great-grandma on the west coast. Recording went fine, but once finalized, the handycam cannot read the disk, as it shows a disk error. trouble with Roxio + NEC 1100
Older Roxio software would not write a readable KH disk on NEC 1100. An upgrade fixed that, but Roxio still would not erase after writing.

Great product!
Given khypermedia's poor cdr performance (anecdotal) - I bought these disks thinking that heck, even if they don't work on my pioneer 106 then i am not out the much $.To my surprise, not only did they burn flawlessly, but the dvd+rw's were recognized on every dvd player that i tried (panasonic, mitsubishi and apex) in addition to my xbox (with hard disk speed).I don't know how they did it, but this package is a steal!By the way - i bought them at Micr0center when they were on sale.

Excellent card!
I wanted to buy the same brand card that came with my Nikon coolpix 2100 and I'm not disappointed. It works even better and faster with the camera and a 128 mb is a must.

I got it sooner than I was supposed to with the free shipping and it works really well with my canon s230 digital elph.I also use this card with a card reader, the same brand.I picked this card because it was 12x. Easy to break
I agree with the feedback from the other Amazon buyer. I've ordered other brands and received only one or two cases broken. This one came with about 10 broken. You basically get only 80% good ones which doesn't make the cheap cost worth these extra cheap cases.

I ordered these and when I got them, 18 of the 50 cases were broken. Very fragile, made of cheap plastic. The packaging is pretty worthless as well, so if during shipping they get bumped around at all, some are gonna be broken. There are quality slim cases available, but not these. ... Read more

they didn't burn any faster and 3 had flaws (clear spot that I assume ddin't allow it to record).Even with flaw-best bang for the buck.The 22 that recorded-LOOK GREAT.

Excellent product!
I work in the tv industry and do A LOT of dvd burning. I have to say that these DVD's work wonderfully. I have a NU 8x Burner in my machine and I have yet to have a single one of these DVD's be used as a coaster. Absolutely wonderful product. I will definitely be using these again in the future! Strongly recommended!
didn't work for me...
On my first attempt to use these discs withmy NEC3500A drive and with the Nero software burn speed set for maximum, it started to write at 4X, then flashed an error message. Tried another disc, same thing, another coaster. I updated the firmware for the burner and was able to successfully complete a burn, but only at 4X! I've had good luck with Ridata in the past, and these were the first coasters Iv'e made with this NEC drive after more than 70 burns. Ironically, I bought a 100 spindle of Ridata DVD+R 4X not too long ago which wrote at 8X on this same drive. Go figure. ... Read more
