I love the camera, but the flash broke after three flashes. is there a way to exchange it?

4-0 out of 5 stars cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
really expensive to develop the film though.i mean REALLY expensive.dag.

3-0 out of 5 stars Expensive kit, fun camera
This is a great camera for those wanting to experiment with "artsy" shots, or even advanced photographers wanting to return to their roots. Nothing about these shots are adjustable - f-stop, exposure, ISO are always constant.

1-0 out of 5 stars JUNK!
I had been wanting this camera for a while, since my boss showed it to me online. The things I saw online made it look so cool. I'm a camera buff. Finally decided to order it, I even paid extra for next day shipping. I was excited to get home to try it out. As soon as I opened the package and picked it up, I realized how cheaply made it is. I loaded the film according to the directions, but the advance mechanism didn't work right. It would just tear the film at the little gripper hole things. I thought maybe it was my error or defective film or something. I went out and bought another 2 rolls of film to try. Same thing! The advance wheel feels so cheap and notchy. The design of the advance wheel is terrible also. It doesn't grip the film positively. I packaged the camera back up, and now am returning it. I guess I have to eat the extra shipping costs and cost of the film I bought to try it the second time. What a waste of money! Don't buy this!!! :( Look for a quality camera.

2-0 out of 5 stars take the colorsplash with a pinch of salt.
Not related to the performance of the camera - mine arrived missing the lid - and it looked like it had previously been opened - however I bought it "new" of amazon.I was nonetheless excited and it looked like nothing (minus the lid) was missing so I set it up and got to shooting.
1-0 out of 5 stars its a waste
If you already have a camera with a hot shoe attachment on it, then you should probably just go ahead and get the colorsplash flash attachment rather than this camera. The flash is like 30 dollars, while this camera is 70. you pay 40 dollars for a plastic camera body that may or may not work great (mine didnt). If you want the interesting photos that come with colorsplash cameras, just go ahead and get the flash. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Exciting Way to Take Pictures
If you are looking for a fun, exciting new way to take pictures,
4-0 out of 5 stars Fun--but get close, I mean reeealy close
This is a fun camera for action shots. You need to be 3 feet or less away from your subject or you get some really sketchy results.
5-0 out of 5 stars my first lomo experience
i stumbled across these lomo cameras on the amazon.com website.they sounded fun so i ordered this particular camera.wow! i was pleasantly surprised with the different effects you can achieve by "shooting from the hip".definately use 400 or 800 speed film and definately take it everywhere you go.the case of the camera does seem like a cheaply made camera but WAIT UNTIL YOU SEE THE PICTURES THAT YOU WILL GET. definately worth the money and i will definately order more lomo specialty cameras....got my eye on the fisheye camera! ... 5. Lomography Supersampler Camera (Blue)
by Lomographic Cameras
Electronics
list price: $39.99
Asin: B00007I2KN
Average Customer Review: 4.0 out of 5 stars
US | Canada | United Kingdom | Germany | France | Japan

Editorial Review

The Lomographic SuperSampler blue camera is a truly original and exciting addition to the world of Lomography. Something of an improvement over the ActionSampler and CyberSampler 2.0, the SuperSampler uses a unique pull-cord film advance mechanism and incorporates four lenses in a panoramic format to capture four shots per frame, each just a fraction of a second apart. The end result is four long images stacked on top of each other that show the sequence of motion. This gives you something akin to panoramic "movie stills" that can even be scanned and animated into a mini four-frame movie on your computer. (Click on the "See more pictures" link at the top of this page to see sample photos that were taken with the SuperSampler.)Read more

Features

  • Four lens 35mm camera that shoots 4 panoramic images per frame
  • Unique pull-cord film advance mechanism
  • Two speed settings, standard and high speed
  • No focus settings; use distance to judge
  • Best results occur under bright lighting conditions

5-0 out of 5 stars Crazy and Fun
I love the Supersampler.I definitely prefer its panoramic format and much sharper image rendition to the original four-lensed Actionsampler. It's really fun to play and experiment with.Be sure to try the extreme close-up effect!
5-0 out of 5 stars A unique, fun camera
No one should order this camera hoping that they will receive a professional quality item.It is simply made to be fun, and that is what it is.It is made of plastic, and it is fragile...so I will warn you.Nonetheless, it is, as I have said, tons of fun.Naturally, since it has no flash, you have to take the pictures with plenty of light. Also, every picture you get developed isnt going to be of professional quality, but that is part of the fun--you just dont know what you are going to get.

4-0 out of 5 stars get more action!
This little camera is a very simple and straightforward device of instant fun - it's fun to use, people are always asking you questions about it, it doesn't weigh much so you can take it anywhere and best of all: your pictures are always surprising!Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars great little camera
I am absolutely NOT a photographer. The pix I took with this camera all came out excellent.

3-0 out of 5 stars great pictures, but unreliable
Because of the lens, pictures come out sharp and beautiful.I've even took slides.
5-0 out of 5 stars Simple camera that takes great pictures!
As others have noted, this is a non-zoom camera with an excellent, fast lens.I bought it a month ago in preparation for an upcoming trip to Italy. As someone who learned to use a Pentax ME Super 25 years ago, I bought it mainly for the fast lens and small size.I also like that it has a slightly wider angle than my zoom compact camera -- great for both travel pictures and indoor group pictures. So far I've taken two rolls of film, in part to test all the features of the camera, and all of the pictures are excellent.I may add to this review after my Italy trip.

4-0 out of 5 stars A neat little camera!
I found this by accident, and if you are tired of taking perfect digital pictures this is a lot of fun.People will look at you funny when you take off the lens cap and they see all nine lenses.Sometimes my wife cuts the pictures apart for scrapbooking. It really works.

1-0 out of 5 stars this is a waste of money
taking nine images of the same exact thing on one negative really isnt that interesting. you could just use a regular camera and take a picture, and then go in your computer and duplicate it 9 times and arrange it as you wish. it's really not that hard, and you dont have to pay any money then. Also with your own camera you could make it more interesting and change some of the images to make a more interesting overall image.
4-0 out of 5 stars A blast!
As a photo and scrapbook junkie, I'm always looking for something to make my collection "pop". This little gold treasure (dubbed my "bling" camera by my friends) is a complete hit! The colors are vibrant, the feel is vintage. I am completely in love with the prints. They have so much personality! I definitely plan on investing in more Lomo products. ... Read more

I like this camera, the viewfinder doesn't really block the view, just a little bit in the bottom right of the bit you look through, but it doesn't affect the pictures at all.

3-0 out of 5 stars LCD stopped working after 18 months!!
I liked this camera. It took great photos.
3-0 out of 5 stars Disappointed
I had a very good picture taking Pentax 105 point-n-shoot bought sometime around 1992.It was large and black, but comfortable... and photos were very clear, very vibrant... everything was in focus.Pictures taken indoors in poorly lit conditions were adequately lit, with NO red eye.Even though the Pentax 105 had a red-eye reduction feature, I never needed it, because the camera simply took great pictures without it.Unfortunately, my old Pentax 105 recently quit working so off to the store to try some new models.5-0 out of 5 stars Great value for the money...

2-0 out of 5 stars Did I get the same camera?
I was recently forced to shop for a new camera when my Vivitar PZ8000 broke down after years of clear, quality pictures. My main goal was to find a camera that could produce consistently clear pictures.Plus, it has to be simple.I don't like to spend a lot of time analyzing the light, etc.I want to be able to grab the camera, turn it on, and quickly take a picture. So when I saw the other reviews for the Pentax IQZoom 170SL, I thought I had found the camera I was looking for.Everyone raved about the clarity, the zoom and the simplicity of this camera. It seemed perfect, so I bought it.5-0 out of 5 stars EXCELLENT POINT AND SHOOT CAMERA..
I bought this camera just in time for my son's birthday party.I don't even have to see the manual to use this camera.. it's just a breeze too operate. The camera felt just right on my hand, lightweight and just at the right size (compared with my previous Pentax IQ-200 which is too bulky and heavy looking). 5-0 out of 5 stars Takes a beating
Pentax point and shoots are extremely reliable cameras, and this one has more zoom than many SLR zoom kits come with! They are also very durable. While playing with one at the camera store that I work at, I dropped it on my foot!I picked it up, dusted it off, and still worked just fine.Just be careful not to knock into things when you have your zoom extended!Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun item
This camera is fun but remember...it's basically a toy.I bought it for snowboarding trips buy I don't know if it would function too well after the inevitable falls! Now I use it when ever i'm out and about.Mostly park activities, kids, pets, subway trains and street scenes.4-0 out of 5 stars Free Film!
Mine included free 800 asa film! Did not read that in the descrition. The price is high! Wish it was cheaper! It is like a 35mm automatic camera without the batteries and a flash. I plan to have negatives only developed. Hope to save on the cost and then have my scanner that can scan in negatives to the computer. Scanner is the Canon mfr. CanoScan D660u. (is a USB connector). I believe it is avail here at Amazon.com. I have also heard of a Fuji 1x use 8 lens camera for golfing swing analysis. I wonder if it is cheaper!

3-0 out of 5 stars Fun, but expect a lot of ?not so great? shots
I bought a CyberSampler 2.0 Chrome camera this spring and shot a few films. This camera can produce some nice movement shots. I recommend children, pets etc. You should get up close and remember to keep the camera still for the whole shot process. One should experiment with film with high ASA numbers. This is, of course, a novelty camera, and be prepared to "waste" film. The physical make (case, etc.) of the camera is very cheap and plastic indeed, but mine works as it should. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars So much fun!
This is the first Lomo Camera I had purchased, after I learned about Lomography. What a fun camera-this is what got me addicted!I take it with me everywhere now-you never know when you will need it!

1-0 out of 5 stars Badly made rubbish
When I bought one of these I knew that it was a plastic toy type camera, but I was suprised at exactley how plasticy and cheap it was, especially for its not cheap price.
3-0 out of 5 stars don't think, just shoot
i love this camera.granted, when i first got it i had problems with it.but it's just so different that i had to adjust to it.it's not supposed to give you wonderfully clear and crisp photos.that's part of the fun.this camera allows you to capture your own little world in ways that perhaps you hadn't seen before.shooting from the hip, so to speak, is the best way to use this camera.the only downfall is getting used to loading film manually and then rewinding it when you're pretty sure it's done.it's more for fun and experimentation so if you're not into that then don't get this.but if you want every roll of film you develop to be a surprise, then get it!:) ... 1-0 out of 5 stars terrible camera
I received the camera without any instructions as how to operate. But thought how hard can it be? Well, the date was next to impossible to set. So I have the wrong date on my pictures. The film does not load easily. the indicators for the auto flash etc. are so tiny it is next to impossible to see! But being a tenacious person I did go ahead and take pictures using two rolls of film. the pictures are just okay. I hate the camera and would not advise anyone who is not a camera expert to buy it!!!!!! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars good
if you use one time use cameras a lot, buy this one instead.it will save you a lot of money, and it's the same quality as one time use.its great for its price.the only thing is when you're taking the picture, the screen is really blurry and everything is really small.

3-0 out of 5 stars Cute, unassuming, and affordable
This is the kind of camera you may want to take with you instead of a disposable. Pros:It's light, small, a no-brainer inexpensive tool to catch snapshots, and, last but not least, has a wide angle lens with reasonable sharpness for a focus-free camera. Cons: Film loading must be carefully performed away from light to avoid marks on your shots (but that's true for most cameras), and, obviously, image sharpness cannot match an autofocus P&S. Overall, a cute little thing.

3-0 out of 5 stars ok for the money
fairly easy to use ,it is a pretty good cheap camera, takes good pictures, flash and shutter cover ... Read more
