5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome camera for the price
Like a lot of the other reviewers have said, this camera takes great pictures!Clear and crisp! And I'm the kinda person that takes pictures hanging out the car window and on the back of a 4 wheeler. It's as if I was standing still! It's so nice to be able to capture a panoramic picture whenever you want, and be able to switch back to regular sized photos with the touch of a button. And all on the same roll of film.So easy.I would highly recommend this camera! And with such a low price, you cant go wrong.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Best!
Even for people on a low budget this season, this is a great, fun, easy-to-use gift. I have owned one of these for almost 2 years now, and have found many ways to get exactly the picture I want. With three photo sizes that change in the viewer, one is always guaranteed to know approximately how thier photo will turn out. Though not particularly inexpenxive, the APS film system is reasonable, and the pictures turn out great! For a younger, or older, aspiring photographer, this is the camera to start with!

5-0 out of 5 stars great camera
i bought this camera right before a trip, and was a little nervous using a new camera. i was not disappointed, every picture came out crisp and clear. the size is great, so small you can easily put it in your pocket. the different settings are good too, especially the panoramic. film, batteries and developing may be a wee bit more, but it is definitely worth it. i've owned more expensive cameras that did not take pictures this well. ... 2-0 out of 5 stars I just cannot find this cameera anywhere
Why can I notfind this camera anywhere

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Camera I Have Owned!
I purchased this particular camera July 2003.Thus far I have taken 7 rolls of film with this camera.First off I found loading the film to be the easiest I have encountered. You just drop the film in, shut the door and the film sets itself. All of the features in this camera allows the photographer to take GREAT pictures.Every picture I took, using this camera, looked as though a professional had taken them.To get familiar with all of the features I purposely took pictures that utilized each feature.Again every picture came out GREAT!Close ups of people did not have the red-eye due to the Flip Flash feature.Photos I took of objects far away seemed a lot closer due to the Infinity feature.Photos I took at night looked as though they were taken in the day light due to the Night View feature. The 3 picture sizes also produced fabulous pictures. The Preview screen, on the back of the camera, came in handy for viewing the picture right away to make sure I got the shot I was after.I also like that I can set the date, time and event to print on the photo.I love this camera so much that I am trying to find one for several members of my family.

5-0 out of 5 stars What I've Been Looking For!
I absolutely love this camera!I was considering a digital camera but wasn't impressed with the clarity of the pictures, and yet I really wanted to send pictures to family via e-mail.This camera gives me the best of both worlds and for a lot less money! Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Canon Elph 370Z
Small camera, very slimlined and easy to carry.I purchased refurbished and everything is working perfectly. I only wish the zoom was a little stronger, but overall an excellent camera.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great camera but beware of the "H"!
I bought this camera a little over 3 years ago when I was expecting my first baby.As you can imagine, I have taken a bunch of photos since then. This camera is easy to use and takes beautiful photographs.
4-0 out of 5 stars This camera is well worth repairing
I bought the Canon Elph 370Z in 2000. After 3 years of heavy use the camera had to go in for servicing last summer because an error message (H) had appeared in the LED.The cost for repairs was about 1/3 of the original price.Several months later the same thing reoccurred and Canon fixed it free of charge. This is the first camera that I've ever had repaired. All my previous cameras have also eventually broke down from use. But this is the only one that I liked enough to have fixed.Photo quality is excellent considering the size of the camera, plus the convenience of APS. The quality of the camera is very good, too. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars handy little compact 35mm
I picked out this camera for someone who wanted something small that uses 'film'This camera uses 35mm film but is as small as many advantix cameras. It takes nice clear pictures and is very easy to learn to use.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great all purpose camera
The thing I love about this camera it is small enough to take everywhere... therefore you end up taking a lot more pictures. If we have friends in town, or we are tailgating, or we go to a party, we inevitably bring this camera along because it is so unintrusive ... it fits in my pocket no problem.Notwithstanding it size, it takes as good of pictures as any SLR (granted not quite as versatile).

5-0 out of 5 stars Great camera if you can still find one!
I received this camerera as a prize and would recommend it to anyone. We use this camera as our primary camera for everything!I took it in with me when my daughter was born, snorkeling, fishing, hiking and I have now handed it to my now toddler. If you have had a toddler, they can break anything with the exception of this ELPH SPORT.I have had this camera for 4 years and have nothing but good things to say!

4-0 out of 5 stars Good camera, good value.
My camera has really stood up to the elements and multiple beatings. It has worked well for me taking pictures underwater and in the surf, and has also been to the top of multiple 20,000+ feet mountains.Dropped countless times on rock, snow, sand, and also dunked as much into water.I have learned to force the flash on anything but super sunny days - the pics come out a bit dark in conditions other cameras would have no problem with, and i've found it could really use a filter in intense light situations.Nothing you wouldn't expect from a specialty use camera.Just bought a second spare one for when the first one finally does give up - which i don't think will be for a long time.5-0 out of 5 stars Ultimate Combination of Features and Quality
If you are considering buying an APS camera, then you should look no further. Note, however, that APS film is a bit more expensive than regular 35mm film, but it is much more versatile (standard Normal, Group, and Panoramic modes, etc). The reason why this camera so great is most obviously its design. The case is waterproof as well as shockproof. After taking it with me hiking, I tripped three times, each time with the camera in my hand (in its little case), and showed no signs of damage, and still worked great underwater. For me, this is great, as I usually end up losing things in my messy room, and hence they usually get banged around. This camera is durable, and therefore there is no worry. Its waterproofing is great feature, as I am constantly taking pictures on my boat, at the beach, or outside where there is always the chance of rain. You don't have to worry about keeping your camera dry, nor does it become a problem if you leave you bag with the camera in it someplace where it might accidentally get wet. The design is extremely easy to use, and the pictures are great (use 400 speed film, its the most versatile). The only bad thing is that you have to fairly responsible about cleaning the camera after salt-water use. Now, I have never done this, and the camera still works fine. Furthermore, this thing is tiny, suprisingly smaller than the most compact 35mm's. You'll be suprised at how small it is (it's not too small though). It also has bumps on the back to help you grip the camera with one hand. To anyone who is concerned about zoom, on most compact camera, APS or 35mm, they barely make that much of a difference. And to anyone considering going digital, I say just get a scanner. Your picture quality will be much better. Recommended without reservation. Its the kind of camera you can just throw in your bag and never have to worry about. One last thing, when you first put it underwater, you will see bubbles coming out. I was concerned, but found out it was just air on the outside of the waterproofing. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars It was great until it broke
Given, it had a hard life with my daughter on the road with Drum and Bugle corp. But it did the same thing as several people remarked about on several different models:it was working and then it broke for no reason. You think it's batteries, but with brand new batteries no go.I'm wondering if I should even buy another Advantix. This problem seems to cover more than one model.

5-0 out of 5 stars A little Gem of a Camera
I bought one of these little APS cameras on a whim right after Christmas about 2 years ago when the price was reduced ... I was having lots of trouble with my fancy and expensive Nikon Nuvis 120i APS so I needed another camera for all the APS film that I had. The ... Nikon took terrible pictures and I figured this camera had to do a little bit better. Boy, was I wrong! It takes great pictures! I carried it all over Europe last summer in my pants pocket while I watched other photographers lugging around their thousand dollar SLR's. No one ever knew I had a camera 'till I pulled it out, flipped up the lens cover (which doubles as a flash) and started snapping away. About the only feature it doesn't have is a zoom lens (which I would rarely use anyway).2-0 out of 5 stars Good camera at first.. before it broke.
I've had this camera for about a year and a half. After less than a year, I began to have problems. First of all, it would overwind the film to where the film would read "developed" when it had just come out of the camera. This created problems for the developing center because they thought I had already developed the film. So, I just lived with this problem for a while since I was still able to develop the film. This is the greatest for the price.I have taken pictures of my son dancing and they are extreme clear...I was so glad when they added the zoom feature to the camera. The digital is a lot of work for me.This is great.Fuji film is also great for people of color.
4-0 out of 5 stars A good camera and good price
Excelent picture, low quality in dark places.Only one kind of photos,Its nice dising and very good funtions.
3-0 out of 5 stars Fuji Q1 Zoom lacks Negative size selection
This is a 'beautiful' design and takes reasonably good pics. (It IS a point & shoot) but unlike all other APS cameras, it only takes pics in the "C" mode (the traditional size prints) NOT in the "H" mode (slightly wider) or the Panoramic. Why Fuji left this choice off Boggles the mind. The main reason I use APS is for the "H" size prints. I'm dissapointed this feature was left off.Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Poor quality camera
I bought two of these cameras as gifts. Picture quality was ok...not great clarity but good color. Good for birthday party snapshots. After a few months, the sliding door stopped working on one of them. And shortly after the warranty expired (1 year) the other camera stopped working. Olympus phone service and Web site offered no help except to suggest that the only way to get it repaired was to mail it to them. For the price of $75.00 they would fix it. As the camera cost me $92.00, I'll just toss it in the trash. And NEVER buy an Olympus camera again!! That's my product review.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Camera!
Let me say I'm a bit of a camera freak so I have had many different cameras and have researched them. This is a great camera! I wouldn't consider it "ultra-compact" given what's on the market these days (I would consider it fairly average), but I have not been disappointed with the outcome of my pictures taken with this camera. Just make sure the camera is able to focus. I took it to Hawaii and it took great pictures with or without flash! I took pictures in the evening, from inside a submarine, at night, inside, outside,... just about everywhere in every type of situation! I hardly made any adjustments and it took beautiful pictures! The shake sensor.. you have to set the camera to that mode in order to use it and i believe it doesn't stay activated after you've taken a picture. I find myself having to reactivate that feature every time I want to take a picture using it. However, I rarely use it. As far as I can tell, the sensor only really works if the camera is shaking pretty hard, but maybe the camera is just that good and will only really take a bad shot if you're in a really shaky situation. For being an all-weather designed camera, I think it would've been better if it were made of metal like the all-weather Stylus Select 105. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Perfect for taking just 4" x 6" pictures...
I recommend for those who like using APS cameras to first try the one-time use verisons before buying this one.I have used two one-time use Kodak Advantix cameras, 35 mm single use, Poloraid instant camera, and 28 mm or 110 Kodak Cameo Camera. But I seem to like having more options and this is what came up.However, the Olympus i Snap APS camera doesn't have the Panamoric view, nor the Print H type available...just the Print C type available and that is 4" x 6" print type available on this camera.I remember paying alot to have a few panamoric prints being processed and that didn't come cheap. So, if you want three Print types available, then buy a used Kodak Advantix Camera instead of this one. Also, I think the resulting prints depends on what brand name film cartidge you use, the lighting, and how the exposed film is temporaily stored before it is taken in to be processed.

1-0 out of 5 stars Stylish but bad pictures
I think that this is a terrible camera. Even though it is very stylish, it takes bad pictures. Even if you have bright lighting the pictures look dark. I would not suggest buying this camera.

5-0 out of 5 stars Hip and Stylish Camera
Even at the age of 12, I think this camera would be great for kids, because its easy to reload film into and it's not hard to work with.I think it's a pretty cool camera, because there is color to it instead of the plain old normal gray and black. You don't have to worry about you're kids breaking a hundred dollar camera the first time they you use it.I would give this product a five star rating. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Great little camera
I got this camera in 1998 at a flea market for $30, the guy said he never put a battery in it, so he didnt' even know if it worked, so I was possibly buying a camera that didn't even work.I decided to try it.1-0 out of 5 stars Mine Broke!
After 18 months of treating this camera like gold and being reasonably satisfied with the quality of the images (as long as they weren't enlarged), one day it just stopped working with the lens partially extended, frozen in place. All the repair shops want $100 to fix it. For $100 I could buy a new one. It was cute while it lasted, but I've bought a Yashica T4 (the original - not the awful zoom remake with the same name) instead. It's not nearly as small, but this elph is just too fragile.

You don't have to worry about you're kids breaking a hundred dollar camera the first time they you use it.I would give this product a five star rating. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Best underwater camera around
My Vectis has been through thick and thin with me and never let me down. It was expensive at the time I bought it (1999) but the pictures it has taken are priceless and it still performs like a champ. I've decided to retire mine and take the plunge with a digital but would replace it if I could find one for a reasonable price. They seem to be hard to come by anymore. Im guessing people like myself just keep them until they fall apart.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good service
I have had my Minolta Vectis Weathermatic for about 4 years and have used it mainly when sailing and around boats and beaches. It always produces good shots and has never let me down.I am on my 3rd battery which I think is pretty reasonable.I like it because it is chunky and solid and can take the knocks and drops.I have never used it underwater but it shrugs off immersion in waves and sitting on (and in) a hot, sandy beach.
5-0 out of 5 stars Highly recommended
I have owned this camera for 5 years now and it's been through the ringer and is still in great shape. The key is to rinse it off and keep it clean especially after salt-water use. The picture quality is great underwater as well as land use. ... Read more
