Yeah, Sweet camera. It was basically ready out of the box once I added the film. Everyobody thinks it's really cool. It's great to have the instant photos, so real and so tangible. Each picture is one of a kind.

5-0 out of 5 stars The fun of it is the most important part
I definately love this camera. It's incredibly fun and gratifying to get your pictures developed a minute after you take them, and this camera in all honesty isn't meant to be professional. If you want professional quality go buy an slr or a digital. This kind of camera should be purely considered for enjoyment. Yes it is heavy but not in a way that makes it uncomfortable--it's bulk makes it nostalgic. It has very basic camera features and is one of, if not the, easiet camera i've ever used--just shove the film in and go.The camera takes decent quality pictures and tends to put a slight sepia tint on them when taken inside, but i consider that a cool trademark effect. The features of this camera include a lens that can be slid over to take closer pictures, a sliding numberless aperture setting, built in flash, and a button that lets you control the use of your flash. The only drawback is the fact that you can't take pictures closer than 2 feet (like all polaroid cameras). The lens of the camera also makes ojects closer to the camera larger in proportion to ojects farther from the cameraon the prints but it's not incredibly noticable. Overall, I enjoy it very much and would whole-eartedly recommend it for anyone.

4-0 out of 5 stars A Handy Cam
This is a nice camera for those quick instant photos you want of people. However the size of it is large and the photos aren't exactly TOP quality. It's nice to have for those quick shots to show right away. The actualpicture aren't something you put in a scrapbook or picture book, but Iwouldn't buy this camera for those reasons. These pictures are ment forthe refrigerator or a bulliten board to look at on your way out or forquick viewing.Thats why I like it because the pictures are nice to lookat, but they're not priceless pictures that you treasure. So in conclusion,I would highly recommend this camera for fun and quick purposes.

3-0 out of 5 stars Oops... I dropped it again
This camera feels like hold a huge sandwich. This thing almost slipped out of my hands when I was tired, but the bad thing was when the retailer swept the dust off the camera to show it to me. And then BANG! he took a picture of me when I least suspect it. The flash stunned me for a while...Read more

i stumbled across these lomo cameras on the amazon.com website.they sounded fun so i ordered this particular camera.wow! i was pleasantly surprised with the different effects you can achieve by "shooting from the hip".definately use 400 or 800 speed film and definately take it everywhere you go.the case of the camera does seem like a cheaply made camera but WAIT UNTIL YOU SEE THE PICTURES THAT YOU WILL GET. definately worth the money and i will definately order more lomo specialty cameras....got my eye on the fisheye camera! ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Mediocre
I got this camera as a hand me down.It works great for instant gratification, but it is hard to get a quality picture. They can be blurry, or the person's head will end up really small and not in the place I wanted it to be in the picture.

3-0 out of 5 stars Great, but flawed
I have the silver version of this camera. (It uses the same 600 film so I assume they are the similiar (if not the same), just different colors). I think Polaroid instant cameras are great, but there are a few niggling problems. 1) Photos often lack sharpness and can look slightly out of focus, 2) For some reason an occasional photo will come out as if it has already been half-exposed, and 3) There is no counter to tell you how many pictures you have left! This is the most annoying aspect b/c you only get 10 photos per pack (and they're kind of spendy). There is little more frustrating than to press the button and have nothing happen. I believe there is a counter on the Joycam, but I prefer the traditional Polaroid size and shape. Otherwise, I still think this is a quality, fun camera and there is nothing better than not having to drop off your film for development.

4-0 out of 5 stars Catching the Moment
This Polaroid One Step Express Instant Camera is not the latest model, but it is good & fun enough for people who want to "catch the moment"-- take and get pic in hands within 3 min. Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Good little camera for the price
Not bad at all for the price.I had a very sophisticated camera before so this one is a bit simplistic - BUT it still takes photos.I would NOT advise using 400 speed film AND the flash - all the pictures came out a surreal blue.Stays nice and dry - LOVE the wrist strap!

1-0 out of 5 stars Junk. Returned it. Read all the reviews and make your decision.
When a product gets a couple of good reviews and a LOT of bad ones, you have to suspect something is wrong. Listen to your suspicions in this case. Those two good reviews here on Amazon may be true, but then why so many bad reviews? And one reviewer wrote that he put silicon grease on the gasket...nothing in the instructions about that. So one of the positive reviews actually modified the product to make it work!
4-0 out of 5 stars No leaks for me

5-0 out of 5 stars Smile...
This small camera is ideal for young children to adults. It provides the user with instant pictures.Film for the camera can be purchased with a sticky or nonsticky backing and is easily intalled into the camera. The mediocre flash adds some functionality to the fun camera. The flashy colors and design add a blast of "ah-ha" to the cameras overall appearence.Althought the film is moderately expensive in relation to regular film, the addition of the "neat effect" balance the two. With a relatively low retail price, you will be investing in a camera and a great time!

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun camera!
I've had my i-zone camera since they first came out, and I constantly use it (when I can afford the film, that is!). I've bought a few more for friends as gifts, and everyone seems to enjoy them. The i-zone camera is a fun thing to take small pictures with, and the sticky film is awesome!

1-0 out of 5 stars Piece of junk.
Picture quality is consistently extremely poor. Very small image. Film is over priced. Camera breaks extremely easily. Images do not scan well even on a high quality scanner. I think the product is mostly just a gimick and a fad which I hope disappears quickly. I recieved one for free as a prize in a contest at a web site. Tried it out, and I think it's completely useless. I would not even purchase as a gift for someone. Reguardless as to how much they want it except to satisfy curiosity. It will most likely end up either collecting dust or being sold at garage sales for a penny. However, if it goes out of production quickly enough maybe they'll become collectables. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun camera for all ages!
I read all the reviews and don't know why people don't think this is a fun camera! I'm a mom with little kids, I have a digital camera, an SLR, a point-n-shoot, a camcorder and now this I-zone - it's just plain fun to have. Oh, and I scrapbook too. This design is sleeker & easier to use than the original model - not so many parts poking out. I spent [money] for the camera at [a local discount store] & 3 pack of regular film is less than [money] there too ([money] more for sticky film.)So for instant photos - that price can't be beat.I used them as party favors at my 4 year old daughter's party - it was a hit! I can see us using it at school or any kid function. Photos are clear, note: instructions say it works best with photos taken 2 to 4 ft away from subject...with the small size of the photo you want it for close-ups anyway.I completely agree with the other reviews from "Neat little camera-April '03 and Fun!!!-Feb '02"I've found accessories (tiny photo album w/clip-on and magnet frames shaped like water splashes, photo key chains)on clearance at Ritz Camera and Wolf Camera stores...more items to go with this cool camera.I recommend getting it & just having some fun!

4-0 out of 5 stars Neat little camera
I bought this camera to take pictures of my toddler. The size of the pictures makes them great for scrapbooking, especially with the sticky film.I also bought this camera for my niece.I think it is great fun to have the instant satisfaction in a compact little photo. The photo quality is pretty good, but I'm still experimenting with indoor photos verses outdoor photos. One feature that I think is great is the flash. You set the flash, and once you take the picture the camera turns off. This is a great way to save the battery.I read some comments that the film is expensive, but at around 5.00 a box you get 12 pics that you don't have to get developed.Seems like a good deal to me.

2-0 out of 5 stars Not Worth It
The Polaroid i-zone camera was definately not worth the money I spent on it. The pictures are so tiny you can barely make out what's in them, plus the film is sooo expensive. If your willing to spend all your money on film then I guess it's an okay camera, but it's not even that much fun to use. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Polaroid Mio Film
I love this camera. I think it's a cute idea and fun for parties, etc. I'm not really here to talk about the camera, but give some hope to those who like using this camera as much as I do. I used mine a few times and then discovered that both the film and the camera were not being made any longer. After sending Polaroid a nasty email I decided to research. I FOUND FILM THAT WILL WORK IN IT!!! Fuji makes the same format camera as the Mio, which they call the Instax Mini. The Film is available in Europe and Asia (not the US unfortunately - probably because of Polaroid) - but anyway.... I have found some online through shops and ebay (search internationally on ebay). I got some, tried it out and it works!!!It's the same film format and packaging! Keep buying the film from Fuji so they don't stop making it!!!!!!!

1-0 out of 5 stars Film No Longer Manufactured

5-0 out of 5 stars You'll Be Amazed at the Fun You'll Have with this Camera
If you are looking for a fun way to document your friends, this is it. Bring this i-Zone to your next gathering and you'll be amazed at how much fun you'll have with it. People will almost be waiting in line to get their photo taken! There is something very non-threatening about having your photo taken when it's on little miniature polaroid film with a sticky back. Even the people who will never let you take their picture will suddenly want a sticker shot of themself.
4-0 out of 5 stars Great Gifts for the Needy
I've been told by others who've used it for the purpose, overseas, that the little photos produced by these cameras are a wonderful and much-appreciated gift that produces a LOT of excitement in the kids in India and elsewhere who are in so much need that they're begging from tourists, but who are often being abused and exploited in order to make money for others. This is a gift for THEM; sometimes they'll have no other photo of themselves other than what you just took for them to keep for themselves or give to someone who cares about them. What a great idea ... I'm buying one for my upcoming trip.Something of lasting value; better than candy or money.

5-0 out of 5 stars Instant Flashcards
I got this camera to make picture flash-cards for my autistic spectrum daughter. The pictures are small enough to easily fit a number on each page of her card book but clear enough that she has no problem identifying them.I highly recommend the i-zone, and the sticky back pictures are very convenient. ... 1-0 out of 5 stars Buy a lot of film because half of the pics will underexpose
Some pictures don't come out at all, some come out ok, and some have to of one person's face.

1-0 out of 5 stars Most expensive bad photos EVER
If I could rate this product with a zero I would.I purchased this item, with 11 rolls of film, for our wedding reception so guests could have someone take a snapshot of themselves and put in the guest book with their well-wishes, a great idea I have seen work wonderfully at other receptions.Except that I chose the joycam instead of the standard polaroid - BAD CHOICE!First of all the camera was difficult to operate and people had trouble with the film jamming, etc.Because the film had been taken out of the boxes to put out on the guest book table none of it is returnable - and byt he time we returned from our honeymoon and had any time to contend with the issue, the whole lot had been in our hands for more than 30 days thus unreturnable.Basically, don't ever buy this product, or any other product by polaroid that isn't it's basic one-step instamatic...just a huge waste of time and money and hugely dissapointing if you are planning to use it for a once in a lifetime event at which it breaks after just a few shots.

4-0 out of 5 stars Joycam- what fun!
I just got a Joycam, and think it is great fun. Its a fairly big camera, but not at all compared to other polaroids. Its still small enough to take out with you anyhow. And If you've never had a polaroid (I haven't) its great fun to watch the photos developing too. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars very cool camera
This is a very, very fun camera, it takes really cute pictures and looks great also. The pictures are surprisingly good concidering they are only a little bit larger than a stamp. The only complaint I have is that the camera takes a picture of more than what you see through the veiw finder, it takes a little getting used to. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars its great
Its an awesome camera!it has a sleek design, and the thing to put around your wrist. But the film acually cost MORE than the camera!!!!!! And since it has different settings, if you choose the wrong setting, it comes out all blurry! And somtimes it leaks this weird stuff on you that you have to wash off FAST!
4-0 out of 5 stars Cool!
Once I saw this camera I wanted it! I have it now it is the coolest camera from polaroid! The camera is cool even the film is cool if you had to do a report with pictures this is what you need!If you want to have fun this is what you need less crapy more quality!4-0 out of 5 stars LOVE IT!!
This camera is SO awesome. My friend got one and then I did. I'm glad she suggested it to me. It's so fun. Just shoot it and... VOILA... the picture coes right out of the camera! It is so fun to play around with. The only egative thing about it is the film costs a LOT and you only get so many film sticks. Other than that, this is a really cool product. I would DEFINETLY add this to my wish list. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Poor quality - color, lighting almost everything!!!
This camera is not worth a penny. I cant think of anything else to describe it. The color, image and lighting came out blurry and unclear. I would not recommend this item at all. Spend a little extra money on another good quality of polaroid camera. If there were negative ratings, this camera definitely belonged to that range.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great depending on what you're using it for
Sure, the picture quality isn't nearly as good as a 35mm.Sure, the film is expensive and you only get ten exposures.5-0 out of 5 stars One of the Best Polaroids
I've used Polaroid cameras off and on since the Swinger came out in the 60's.I've had the SX-70 and the One Step. The Polaroid One is by far the easiest to use.The LCD film counter on the back is easy to read and the pictures are clear. The camera takes type 660 film or even takes type 779 professional film for better colors and better clarity. The camera is solidly built, fits into your hand comfortably and is easy to carry thanks to a two position hand strap.Polaroids have always been fun cameras. This one is no exception. ...
