Longevity in a product!!Unheard of!!
I bought my digital camera 6 or 7 years ago and have had the same Sandisk Smartmedia media card for all that time.It is a 16 MB disk and held at least 170 pictures in SQ setting,a setting that let me email pictures easily because the files were relatively small.The memory card has been used again and again over the years and has just now, for some reason, bitten the dust.I'd say that's a darned good buy myself.

Quality media stick
This is a good value and fast memory stick. I have used it in my Cybershot 7.2 MP camera and it's fast both for browsing shots and also taking video with the same camera.
LEXAR is the best...
I bought this one for my Sony DCS-W7 camera and it works great. I tried to take photos with the internal memory and with the memory stick. Result is almost the same. I could not notice any difference in quality unlike my old SD memory camera. The memory is in black unlike the picture and When I tried it on my card reader, it gives me a message saying unformatted disk space, but who cares since I can download the images using camera's USB cable!

Don't buy unless you want to lose valuable pictures
I purchased this card about 6 months ago and it was working fine.But recently I just took a very nice trip and hiked for hours taking very lovely pictures.When I got back to the hotel and was checking all of the pictures, all of a sudden the pictures disappeared from the card (with no reason!).I was hoping somehow they would show up on my computer when I got back home, but all of the files show up with some strange text and showing 0 bytes.I lost all of the pictures where I worked so hard to take (I was walking around and hiking for hours!).
Best value, but a little inconsistent
I was going on a 3 week trip, and so I bought three Lexar 512MB digital cards (one per week).On my trip I found that two of the cards were able to store 351 images, while the third only fit 280 images.All three cards were identical, and I only saved photos on all three (no videos), so it seemed strange that one card would have a smaller capacity than the others.That said, I still had some free memory at the end of my trip, so it's not like my trip was ruined from missing out on 70 photos.It just seems that the number of photos should be consistent in identical products, and I did not find that to be the case.Aside from that, they say that this particular card is the best value you can get, and I found it to be efficient, perfectly-sized, and very fast to upload, all at a reasonable price.That's why I give it 4 stars, docking 1 for the inconsistency I observed.

Do not order from Ritz Camera - wrong item
Do not order this item and expect to get what you see.I ordered the Super High Speed card (RPSDH01GU1A) and what I got was a low quality High Speed card (RPSDK01GU1A).Seems to be some kind of a scam that Ritz is running with Amazon's blessing.Buyer beware.This has happened to me before when you order from one of Amazon's partners, and Amazon will do nothing to help you.

I ordered Panasonic 1GB Secure Digital (SD) Card ( RPSDH01GU1A )Which is a 66x speed (10BM/s)I received RP-SDQ01G which is 33X speed (5MB/s). Ritzcamera will cheat you. You can find the part they sent me for $20 less on Amazon with free shipping.

Seems to work well
The transfer rate is pretty high, and it is much faster than the Sandisk Ultra II 1GB SD card that I previously reviewed when a large number of small files are copied.Overall, I'm pretty happy, but the card is still slower than a hard drive for copying a large number of small files, which is a bit surprising to me. ... Nice Gift....Service Needs Improving..... Expen$ive Upkeep
My sisters and brothers bought this for our 83-year old father.It's a great concept:Share photos from anyone in the family, from anywhere in the world, and without the need for a computer connection.He really loves it, and the fact that each morning there are new pictures, electronic greeting cards from all of us, local weather, and other "channels" like "This Day In History" from The History Channel and CNN News.The setup is very easy, and picture quality good enough.He has something to look forward to each day and that in itself is priceless. No good for Communicator
I bought this memory card for my Nokia 9500 because on Sandisk's website it says that its compatible.Tried and tried for a few hours. The device sometimes sees the card and most of the time it doesnt. When it does see the card, it gives a "UNABLE TO BEGIN FORMATTING" and "SYSTEM: ACCESS DENIED" error.The card is not defective, it works on 3 different brands of readers and reads/writes fine on 3 seperate computer systems... and will be used as the memory core of a DIY USB flash drive. I do not recommend this card for users of the Nokia Communicator series (9300/9500).

Frustrating, time wasting product.
Having used TDK (non DVD disks) for many years, based on this past experience, I purchased 2, YES TWO, spindles, 50 DISKS. A disasterous decision. If any would be purchase of these disks would like to experience, computer crash, DVD drive lock-up, multiple and incorrect information about individual disks (disk empty, disk full, cannot read disk, unkown format, windows incompatible disk) then purchase these. After wasting time on 10 of the disks, I eventually salvaged 2. The remaining 48,into the garbage. The rating for these TDK disks should be -5, that's minus 5!!!!

Improperly named!
While I'm sure this is a great DVD+RW product (my computers works great with it), it is NOT a DVD-RW.The "-" and "+" specify the format and often determine how it can be used.

One and done
My PNY card worked fine for a one year and suddenly went belly-up. One day it was simply unreadable. There's a "lifetime" warranty, but do I really want another of these?

Didn't last long
I am currently looking for a new memory card as the PNY 512 stopped working.I could not get my last images from it.Lasted less than a year, about 30-50 downloads before Memory Error message came up.

CORRUPTED DATA - LOSS ALL PICTURES
I have some minor problems once in a while like it displayed a message of memory problem but during my last vacation I took about 150-170 pictures in the first few days. Suddenly i get those memory messages and finally I got "Corrupted Data" and that was the end. I couldtn't view or download my pictures anymore. I have to purchase a new 512MB this time i bought ScanDisk at Radio Shack for 60 dollars.

Too big!
On the back of the package, it says that this can replace the Kodak KLIC-5000 battery.However, it doesn't fit in my Kodak battery charger (it's too long by about 1 mm!) - which is designed for the Kodak klic 5000 battery - or my camera, an HP Photosmart R717.I got the battery first and the charger later, so first I thought I must have gotten the wrong information that the Klic-5000 battery works with my camera (it sort of fits, but is a tight squeeze that I'm not too comfortable with).When the charger arrived today (real Kodak brand), I tried putting this battery into it, but it requires quite a bit of force to do so.I suppose I'll take the battery back in the next couple of days.
