Lexar 256 memory
I just bought another one because the last one gave me the "format error" mentioned by other reviewers. Otherwise, for the cost and the capacity, I am willing to give it another try. It did cause problems for me in my profession, but my clients allowed me to reshoot, and I need the extra space.There are not many choices of memory for those of us not willing to give up our old Sony DSC S85 cameras.These are no longer being manufactured so I guessLexar became aware of the problems. What can you do ?

Works Well - Enough Memory for the casual user
Certainly you would want 1mb+ of memory if you were on a long trip, or needed to make the equivelent of more than 50 pictures at 5mb (reasonably high resolution - good for up to 10x8 photos). Otherwise this is sufficient memory for most.
Good product - but go for a higher capacity!
Initially I was not too happy with the price of this memory stick because these 256MB sticks used to cost $65 in 2004! But it has worked so well and I am extra happy because I can stick them directly into my SONY VAIO PC, that I am hardly unhappy now about the pice drop. I have not had any memory problems/errors and the speed has been pretty good.

Kinda Disappointed...
If you are going to lay out $500 for a camera, you should expect a fair amount of camera.
Underwater Camera
It was for my husband when he was diving he loves said it takes great pictures. The shark mode works great.The pictures were very clear.

Just used this at 80 feet in BELIZE!
Loved this! It is awesome because it is BOTH land and sea camera, so you need just one! You can get tons of accessories and flashes for it. It is easy to use and the program it comes with allows you to do all kinds of cool corrections INCLUDING making your photos MORE in focus in case you shot them blurry!

Super reliable charger
This Travel-Charger is very reliable and helps a lot while traveling through Europe because is supports 230 V sockets as well as 120 V sockets. It usually charges 2500mAh batteries within 3 to 4 hour. This is not a fast-charge because if you charge batteries too fast it may decrease their amount of possible charges. But you can still charge two sets of batteries within one afternoon.

Don't Waste Your Money
This is a horrible printer. Not only does it take up tons of color and black and white ink every time it prints (it does "test prints" on all cartridges every time so even if you only want black and white you're paying for color), it has lousy performance on printing pictures and has frequent multi-feed errors on standard paper. Epson photo paper doesn't work with it - it does bad lines through all photos and won't print without borders - and you'll have enormous amounts of trouble trying to get Epson to say what kinds of paper will. I will definitely not buy another printer by this comapny; it's too unreliable and wastes too much ink.

i don't have the r200, i have the r220. nevermind what people are saying about the ink smudging, don't touch the disc for at least an hour or so. the software even says wait 24 hours. go to wal-mart or some other place with crafts and get a spray acrylic sealer as this will help fight water and smudges. next: the ink is not that expensive. buy it online. the colors ARE VERY vibrant and bright if you know what you are doing. the ability to use white printable discs and silver is awesome. people having problems with the loading tray need to realize THE TRAY COMES OUT THE BACK of the printer, so if it's sitting up against the wall, the tray hits the wall and causes an error. simply pull the printer a couple inches away from the wall. i would definately recommend epson cd printers. the discs are cheap, found [...]. i hope this helps you make your mind to buy this.

Glad I took a chance.
I have to say that I'm usually pretty cautious about buying off brand, generic, no-name stuff.However, I had an old 1 Gig CF card that was slow as molassis in my Canon G6.With the old card I could take three or four pictures at the slow continuous repeating frame rate, about 1 every 0.8 seconds I think, before the card slowed it down to about 1 every 2.5 or so seconds.

problematic right out of the box
Followed the printed instructions for the setup of this printer.Seemed straight-forward, but was not impressed with some flimsy plastics and the retention "clips" for the ink cartridges...Well, try as I might, this unit seemed insistent on not recognizing the black ink cartridge.At least the software with the unit identified the black cartridge as the culprit.But this was the brand new cartridge that came with the printer...and the expiration date on it was within spec...And, yes, I did remember to remove the protective tape.So is the problem actually the cartridge or the bay that it goes into (in other words, is the problem with the printer itself?)Do I waste $19 on a new cartidge possible to only find out that isn't the problem?Or do I give this printer back and buy a Canon?For the record, I wasn't impressed with the old days of Canon BubbleJets, but lately have been happy with the Canon's I've set up for others.Sorry, but I cannot recommend this unit.

Regional Coding
I cannot recommend HP to anybody anymore. The company introduced regional coding, which means printer cartridges from one region cannot be used in another. For most this is probably not an issue, for those busily traveling around it is. Also, it is an issue of principle, its bad enough for DVD, but printer cartridges? HP has introduced this rather secretely and if you don't read the box cover etc very carefully, you may not notice. The main issue is in Europe. I got caught out. I bought a 3 catridges overseas - I could not use them on my HP printer. I asked for a refund, HP Email Support (US) was nice but ineffective. HP Customer Support (Europe) was snotty and very rude. I think HP does not care about its customers and this cost me over US$75, almost 50% of my printer (my sixth and last HP). Don't buy HP.

terrible printer
Lots of problems installing (Windows 2000 Pro) - eventually paid for an in-home service call. Technician managed to get it to work, but could not get it (HP software) from trying to reload each and every time the computer started.

very glad i invested in this filter.
i've been using the filter for just a short time now on my efs 10-22 lens on the rebel xt, and it was certainly worth the money. the pictures come out with deep rich colors, beautiful. no vignetting. threads on and off very easily. the slim mount doesn't have any front threads, so it won't accept a lens cap. it does come with a plastic cap, but it doesn't fit tightly, would only be practical in a camera case, not for walking around. ... Good Printer
I got this printer not too long ago, and it has preformed pretty well so far.The pictures are good and it does not use too much ink, or so it appears.Again, the pictures are good quality, but they do take some time to dry.This might be because of the photo paper.I would suggest buying a usb cable as one is not included with the package.All in all, the cheap price and good pictures makes this a good photo printer.

How many pictures will it store?It is the most commonly asked question from digital camera enthusiast but usually the question that is the most difficult to get a straight answer about.Well, considering I worked in the memory industry for over 7 years I can help clarify this perplexing question and do so unbiased as I have since changed industries.
Woks Great!!!
I had slight confusion whether to choose the sony 64 MB memory stick, which is nearly the same price or this one, which has twice the memory capacity of the previous one. I choose this one for the better deal and to add to my surprise J&R Electronics shipped it so quickly(You guys Rock!!!). This one comes par with sony memory media in every field. So why choose the one with lesser memory capacity. Choose this one and feed your camera with some memory space!

Great photos, but software too slow
We bought this printer several months back. It prints beautiful photos, generally well-balanced colors and of a good quality. The final layer is waterproof and fingerprintproof, so it is great for making prints to share with friends and family (especially kids)
Amazing, fast results though not exactly Macintosh friendly
Everything about this printer is great, including the packaging.Though I am not one to be hung up on something as small as packaging, I would have to say they did an elegant job with this product.It even reminded me of similar packaging you would find in Apple brand products.Anyhow, setting this printer up on a Macintosh can be difficult.If you are running Mac OS X 10.4 you may need to download and install an updated version of the Common Unix Printing System, better known as Cups.Otherwise, you may be stuck with a "printer not responding" message.After I learned how to fix the printing issue everything was smooth sailing.For one, it's a dye thermal printer so you don't have any inkjet cartridges to become clogged resulting in bad prints.After sending the print command, It quickly sucks the paper back and forth four times, each time laying down a different layer of dye until your left with a final print which is indistinguishable from a lab quality print.One other issue is the fact that you have to set up your document using the Page Setup dialog box or your printer will somehow think you are printing on 8.5x11 or some other size that it doesn't accept.Be sure to set it to "Postcard" or "Poscard Borderless" AND set the page orientation.Anyhow, besides the couple small issues I am more than happy with this product.You can produce beautiful prints quickly and easily that will wow yourself and friends.

This is great for families and amatuer photogs who want a quick way to see their work.As good as drug store prints and right when you want them.Software is easy to setup and use.Printer is quick and so far dependable.Be aware that when hooked to an xp pc, for some reason, the software switches the samsung to the default printer.So after a printing session check to make sure you're usual printer is on line again.Other than that small quirk, no problems at all. ...
