Enough about the cable already!
Let's burn this into our memory for future reference. When you buy a printer, YOU DON'T GET A CABLE. This is true even if you buy a new monitor! Simply use the cable your old one hooked up with and you're set. Now let's concentrate on reviewing the item in question instead of the peripherals!
Great for any budget
This is very nice printerI must say...Prints fast, quiet, and sharp. I guess the only gripe would be no printer cable included, I mean who sells a printer without a cable?? But all u gotta get is a regular usb cable..... won't cost u anything..
Nocable
I just received the printer. In trying to set it up, I realized there is no computer to printer cable included, nor any explanationof what kind you need. You have to bail out of the setup and solve that little dilema.

OK, just don't expect too much
This product is cheap and basically does what it promises. It may deserve more stars because of that, but it just isn't very high quality.Photos are hard to see given size and resolution of screen. You need good head shots and not much else. There are larger more expensive products of this type out there.I'd go that route rather than purchase this again.
Not a good idea.....
Well I thought this might be nice for my husband's birthday gift so he could carry around pictures of our daughter, but when he downloaded them, it was quite disappointing to say the least. You can't make out the faces and the quality is poor :(
Don't Waste Your Money
Please don't waste your money on this; it's utterly useless and there are far better products out there.

The worst printer I've ever owned.
Do not purchase this printer! I have only owned this printer for a year, and here is a list of the problems I have had with it in this short time:
SHOULD HAVE STUCK WITH AN EPSON!
Purchased from Apple store and wouldn't recommend. Can't get fax function to work automatically because of answering machine and therefore still have to switch on and off to receive faxes.Scanning ability is not user friendly as far as switching quality of scan and then editing image.Copy function is fine for 1 page.Sound's harsh I know and it prints fine, just so many better/more user friendly options out there.
HP makes me SAD. Here is a Pro/Cons List.
I have had the 2610 for about a year now. To communicate my experience/opinion of the HP 2610, I will make a Pro/Cons list. I realize my review may be one-sided, but I am only speaking from experience.

Durable Enough!
I'm a grad student so I rely utterly on this little piece of equipment to keep my work portable, accessible, and backed up. I've been using this 256 MB Lexar Jumpdrive for about a year now, and I have utterly abused it along the way! It goes absolutely everywhere with me on a keychain: in backpacks and purses, into the field and back again, and it's worked without a hitch in several computers of several ages, all along! I finally completely filled the drive. And now, right on time, the rubber cap is breaking down right where it attached to my keychain. As other users noted, the cracking is slow, so I had plenty of time to notice it, and not lose the thing. After reviewing the other "known" brands on Amazon(read: Sandisk and Memorex), I have to conclude that this one is probably one of the best flash drives available. Let's face it: small electronics are prone to failure eventually, and the fact that this one made it through my lifestyle for 1 year is impressive to me! I'm purchasing the 1 GB version!
An Ugly but very Durable USB Drive
In general, Lexar's USB drive does its job just as well as other USB drives; there isn't much of a difference except for the following:
I hate this drive
I bought it thinking it will be a sturdy drive, and Lexar anyway had a good name in flash drives.

Editorial Review Printing professional quality photos from home has become a reality, thanks to easy-to-use photo printers like the Canon PIXMA ip5000. By combining five-color printing and a 1,856-nozzle print head that's capable of delivering superfine 1-picoliter ink droplets (up to 22 million droplets per inch), the ip5000 delivers stunningly accurate prints that should leave professional photo labs a little worried. Doesn't Last
I bought this based upon the reviews here last year. So much for community info. It has already started "banding" in less than a year. A new print head is about $125. It clogs very often, possibly because I use cheap ink from "Printpal." Maybe it would do better with Canon ink, but I never tried it. The separate color cartridges are a plus. This is the first time I tried Canon. I'm going to go back to HP and try a Laser printer to replace this useless piece of $#^*.
great start, dissappointing finish
Loved the print quality, speed, cost per page.
Would be an Excellent Printer but Lacks CD Tray
This is a very good printer and could be really excellent if it included the tray for printing directly on CD's and DVD's.I wholy recommend buying this model and then follow up with finding a third-party tray.Canon seems to omit the tray when this model is sold in some parts of the world. The good news is that there is a supplier.I've got the printer and the CD tray and get outstanding printable discs without using those darn adhesive labels.

Same as Sony
I found no difference between this and the Sony brand Memory Stick Pro Duo. Save money and buy from a non-Sony Brand.
Good quality
I bought this particular card for my Sony Handycam DCR-HC85 in case I ever wanted to snap photos with it.
Does what it is supposed to do
I bought this memory stick for my Sony Cybershot, and it does the job perfectly. It's nice that it has the MemoryStick Pro adapter, since my camera does not take MemoryStick Duo.
