Not an HP item, but it still does the job.
I was a bit thrown in the beginning because the item shown when purchasing is the original HP ink in the original packaging.This item does NOT come like that.It's separately boxed, and from what it looks like, it was a cartridge that was just refilled.Honestly, I don't really care.It's for my printer at home, and it does just as good of a job as the original printer cartridge that I had, for way less money.I will definately buy again. ... Great Prints from a Small Package
This is a handy printer, neat and small. You can insert your camera's memory card right into the printer and print out your photos. Of course you can only print out four by six prints, but that's one of the sacrifices because the printer is so small. However, it's size makes it easy to take on trips, after all you can hardly lug around a full size printer when you're taking the family to Disneyland. Cant beat the price!
Needed this for my MP3 player on our trip across the country to our new home. Worked great and still seems to work just fine.
This is a steal
I bought for my RCS Lyra 128 MB and it added 136 more songs.The transition from songs on the device and songs on this card is seamless.The speed must not matter on mp3 players.I took an ad from Fry's outpost.com website for $24.99 and a local retailer matched it.I dont know if the brand makes a difference in digital cameras, but this brand is great for my mp3.

i ve purchased it for my telescope's eyepieces , at first it was hard to clean the fingerprints , dirt and all that stuff with a hand cloth and a glass cleaner but after i ve clean them up with this pen , my eyepieces looked brand-new , both sides of the pen is useful but the only thing i didn't like about this item is it won't clean my 2.3mm 4mm and 6mm eyepieces perfectly , because the tip of the pen designed for cameras,camcorders and binoculars you know for the big lenses , if you have one of these eyepieces you might wanna get something else..
My expectations were blown away
I decided to try this out after wasting many hours trying to get my lenses looking brand-new again with a cleaning cloth and solution, which was really annoying and kept leaving streaks that weren't even there to begin with. So, I ordered a LensPen and figured I'd give it a shot. I was skeptical at first, but let me tell you; I will never use anything other than this to clean my lenses again. Period. It literally cleans the lens instantly and takes no effort at all. Plus, having the retractable brush was a nice touch. This thing works, and it works well. If you hate cleaning your lenses the conventional way, give this a shot. You won't be disappointed.

Not bad for the price...
For its price, this is a work horse of a printer. Small, compact, space saving design. Fast and quiet as well. Only problem, as one reviewer mentioned earlier, is that it doesn't print well on labels for some reason. So I guess if you're just printing on regular paper, this one will do the trick.

POOR RESOLUTION AND SPEED

I have been using this 512 MB Kingston card at the suggestion of a professional, newspaper photographer. My Cannon Digital SRL, 8 Megapixel camera seems to enjoy it, since it produces wonderful pictures without any trouble. Would recommend it without hesitation.

didn't get what I ordered
I ordered the product pictured but the actual delivered was different. First, I thought I was getting a Canon product but I did not. Second, I ordered a multipack of 6 and got individual packs of 8 different colors. I mean, I have no problem with the bonus 2 but the point is, I did not receive what I ordered in the first place. For this, I'm disappointed.

I had been using compatible cartridges from another company which I will not mention in order to not be accused of shilling with no problems for over six months.I gave Abacus a try and their ink stinks and basically ruined my printhead.I will give it to them that that do ship out the product quickly but getting something quickly does not make a good product. ... It's Been An Excellent Printer
We have two C86's (and a C66, which uses the same ink cartridges) in our real estate office.The older one has been in use 2-3 years.We've printed thousands of pages with no problems with any of them, except for the very occasional "bad cartridge".Perhaps the constant use explains the difference between my and the other reviewers' experiences with this model. I don't think the C86 is still manufactured but if I can, I'll replace two other office printers (Epson Color 880 and HP Deskjet 952c) just to simplify ink cartridge orders.

Nothing But Trouble ...
I had to exchange my C86 w/Epson within 9 months.No matter what they had me do to try and 'fix' my problem, it still wouldn't print correctly.I've had the replacement for less than 6 months and the heads are clogged!On-line support sent me an email with a lot of instructions that I followed to the 'T', but the replacement printer doesn't print at all now.I threw away 4 good color/B&W cartridges (half-used) and put in new ones and it still doesn't print!I've paid for this printer about 5x's over now in ink $$$.I plan on using it as a dingy anchor ...

Epson C86 - decent while it works
I've had a C86 for a little over year.It had great print quality and was fairly quick for about a year.Then an invitation card misfed.It wasn't a serious misfeed (I didn't force anything to remove the card), but the printer quickly went downhill after that.It printed a few pages with horizontal bands of normal print alternating with bands of very light print, then the pages were completely blank.I assume the print heads are clogged, but I've also read about the C86's tendency to get a clogged tube.

HP includes a free shipping label in the package of each cartridge so that you can easily send the old cartridges back to them (they recycle them).You can improve the life of the cartidge by taking it out every now andthen and making sure the toner is well-distributed by slowly shaking it.Iprinted 2 boxes (20 reams) with one of these cartridges, set on Light(which looks fine)....

An economic choice
Because my time is money, it is cheaper for me to shop online. I found this product at the Hewlett Packard retail site for $60. Office Max retails it for $48.97. Staples' web site was having technical problems and Icouldn't get on. Amazon is always available and competitive.

Okay, my printer, a Hewlett-Packard LaserJet 5L, is not great.Despite mechanical problems, it prints well.Crooked, maybe, but otherwise well.Using the real HP toner makes a difference.The greys are more even, finelines are crisper.I tried two versions of recycled cartridges and theresults were immediately noticeable.Amazon has a great price on the realones, so it is worth it to stick with them. ... It doesn't come off my camera much.
I got this lens because I didn't really own anything close to this range except for the kit lens (good but not great and not f/2.8).I do own a 15mm Canon Fisheye but it does distort quite a bit even on the 20D and I don't like to have to correct in Photoshop each time and I wanted a wide lens.I wanted something wider, that could capture lots of light (I do allot of ambient and low light photowork) and I wanted something versatile (on a 20D this is really a 24mm to 56mm --- great working range).
Not what I expected...
I shoot with a Canon 20D and have used the Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens as my wide angle option. When preparing for an extended stay in Budapest, I decided it was time to invest in a faster, better quality WA lens. I reviewed the lens lineup at the Canon website and decided on the Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L. As an L lens owner, I was confident this lens would be a great addition to my lens lineup.
16-35mm vs. 17-40mm, both Super, but what's the difference?
Well, besides a whole bucket full of money, one of them lets you take photos in lower light, okay, that's obvious. The 16-35mm is a bit heavier, but not so you'd notice, unless maybe you were carrying it around all day, without eating and you're a bit over the hill. So why pay the extra money, unless, of course, you do a lot of shooting in the early morning and late evening?
