5-0 out of 5 stars Great card
Bought the card from Emartbuy since they were the cheapest, I got the card after like 4 days later, their great. Yea the card seems to be good, sandisk doesn't make garbage, unlike other brands. Good card, get it

1-0 out of 5 stars EMARTBUY = INCOMPETENCE
It's been over 19 days since my SanDisk 512MB Transflash card was "shipped" from EMARTBUY and I still have not received my order. When I contacted EMARTCRAP, all they could tell me was that it had been shipped. I am sure that flash card works great. I just hope that I will receive it before it becomes obsolete. AVOID EMARTBUY AT ALL COST. Don't settle for incompetency. Your are better off paying a higher price for better service...correction any service.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Gem of a Camera
I bought the Rebel EOS Digital XTi 400D to upgrade my almost 3-year old Rebel EOS Digital 300D (which, by the way, is still a great camera). I won't go into the technical differences between the two cameras, but I will say this: the differences between the two cameras are worth the cost of the upgrade for me. Here's why.
5-0 out of 5 stars Absolutely stunning
I am an advanced amature. For me, the quality of professionally done prints is the biggest measure of a camera or lense. I will be brief and to the point:
5-0 out of 5 stars Moving up to your first SLR? What to expect.
(I'm in the UK where it's called the 400D, not the XTi, but they are the same camera.)

Kodak's C310 is a reliable, easy-to-use digital camera designed to take beautiful shots anywhere, anytime. In fact, the C310 is so smart that it can automatically rotate your vertical shots so they're right-side-up when viewing or downloading to your computer, deliver optimal settings for most standard shooting environments, and even let you immediately tag your shots for later printing or sharing via e-mail. 5-0 out of 5 stars Just what I needed
This is a very basic camera, easy to use, and easy to transfer pictures, either through the software or SD card. At first, I was appalled at the low battery life, but then I read the manual which said using the flash and/or LCD screen excessively wears out the batteries. It's a bit of an inconvinience for some to use the little boxy see through thing instead of the LCD but I don't mind; I've had a manual camera for most of my life and I'm used to it anyways. It takes nice, sharp pictures, though it does get a bit grainy if you zoom in too much (it has digital, not optical zoom). I also love the fact that it's pretty small, relatively lightweight, and durable (I've dropped it loads of times and it still works like a charm), so I just throw it in whatever bag or purse I'm using for the day. The video capture thing is pretty cool too, though there isn't any sound, it's a nice bonus feature. Considering I got this camera for [...] bucks at Fry's, I am more than satisfied.
5-0 out of 5 stars Just what I needed
I really like this camera. I use it for photos that I take for my Romantic Oregon Coast Vacations web site [...]
4-0 out of 5 stars Exactly What I Need!
I only gave this 4 stars because what I need in a camera may not be what you need in a camera.

1-0 out of 5 stars The single worst piece of electronic equipment I've ever owned in all my long years
I hope this review is helpful, here goes: This scanner captures great images. When it feels like it.It works about once out of every 5 times on Windows XP; the other times it gives the same TWAIN error that I'm now reading that people all over the web are having. In the driver's readme.txt file, it notes that this error "occasionally" (for me, 80% of the time!) occurs when you have XP and an NTFS hard drive. This scanner cost me hours of headaches and hassles and I wish I could save you the same; I'm replacing it with an Epson and am hoping for the best.No other Canon product gave me these problems, but this is really a ripoff.
1-0 out of 5 stars POC
It's great when it works. Just can't get one that keeps working 5 months later. My assistant bought one a year ago. 5 months after purchase it simply won't turn on. It gets replaced and works fine. Thinking this is just a quirk, I buy one myself. Sure enough, I go to use mine 4 months later (after about 10-12 uses total in that time) and it won't turn on at all.
5-0 out of 5 stars TERRIFIC FILM SCANNER for this price/type
I got this scanner a few days back and already had the opportunity to use it. Before proceeding, let me highlight a few facts. I avidly take photos in slides and was looking for a cheap scanner fulfilling my needs of (a) publishing on web post manipulations in PS (b) Keeping a GOOD digital copy of the same, with myself (c) Being able to take max. a 4x6 print, as and when required; from the digital copy.

4-0 out of 5 stars Black Ink Anyone?
There are so many times where the actual ink, can be the difference between a good copy, and a not-so-good copy on paper. With HP black ink cartridge #21, it is very convient, and easy to setup into your HP deskjet 3930 series printer. This cartridge is very inexpensive, and affordable for HP printers. I think of it as a must for your HP printers. While there are cartridges that are difficult to open, and install into your printers, this one installs in a snap. I really recommend this for my new HP printer, and so will you if you own a HP printer for this ink as well.

1-0 out of 5 stars Great camera for 13 months...
I bought this camera just over a year ago and really enjoyed it.
5-0 out of 5 stars great camera..bad photo software
I purchased the Panasonic LUMIX DMC LZ3 camera this summer for our family use. It's been a very good product and takes great pictures at an affordable price. The one knock I have found is the included software LUMIX Simple viewer is extremely lacking. Aside from printing photos or e-mailing them, you cannot easily find the files on your hard drive. The only way to move around the files is to export them back onto your photo card and then move them to a destination. I have since found another program to manage the files. Get the camera and the cannoli s, leave the software.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great easy to use camera
I bought this camera for my daughter's 13th birthday. She is into salamanders and has 2 geckos. I have not seen a bad picture come out of this camera! I have several black pets that are usually impossible to photograph. They come out clear, with their eyes open! We have also not seen a single blurry photo due to the image stabilization.

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect Camera!
I just received my Sony S500, and I love it!It's small, light, yet not so small that it's hard to manage. The LCD screen is huge!Bigger than any I've seen on a camera of this size! The pictures are crystal clear, and the camera itself is super easy to use and understand. The one, and ONLY thing, I don't like is that you cannot hear the audio on the camera when playing back videos (you have to plug it into a computer or tv to hear audio). It's not really a big deal and it makes it a fun surprise when you do plug it in:)The price is great and I am so glad I found this little steal!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great buy!
This camera is a great little buy.I did a TON of research into digital cameras....for over a year or so and finally decided upon this one.I bought it at Best Buy when it was first released and the price could not be beat.I literally bought it the day my new nephew was born and it only took about 15 minutes learn to use.The pictures turned out great and the modes are super easy to use.Only a couple turned on blurry, but I believe that was more the photographer than the camera. There is a power saver option that comes on to reserve the battery power.I do however suggest buying rechargable batteries. This camera is super great for the price compared to Canon and Nikon. The software is super easy to use as well.I suggest this camera for first time digital camera users such as myself.Excellent camera and excellent price!

5-0 out of 5 stars C. Sobalvarro
I ordered this camera just before taking a vacation to Hawaii. My primary goal was to take photos while snorkeling. I did so against the advice of several reviews I read here saying the quality of the underwater photos was poor. However, I strongly disagree. I've posted two sample photos here that demonstrate the quality that's possible with this camera underwater. I was completely satisfied. Here's why I ordered this...

1-0 out of 5 stars Olympus 720 SW underwater results
This review is based on a 17-day trip to Hawaii in June where I regularly used the 720 SW snorkeling, and covers only its underwater performance. The manual and website FAQs aren't much help on this, and without some careful practice you will probably be disappointed with this camera's underwater shots at first. My results were uneven despite experience with other underwater cameras.

5-0 out of 5 stars WOW!
This is a phenomenal camera!I fell in love with the huge 3-inch viewfinder, and the 12x zoom is just great. This camera's pictures can be be cropped and end enlarged. The pictures are incredibly clear. In addition, the camera is compact, considering its features. The price is not too high, either.I highly recommend this camera. The only downsides are the large file sizes (you need to buy large capacity media), and that it uses proprietary Sony Memory Stick memory.

3-0 out of 5 stars PURPLE FRINGE
Nice camera but WAY too much purple fringe.Camera feels and looks kind of cheap compared to Canon or Panasonic.None of the super-zooms are perfect. The Sony, Canon and Panasonic super-zooms are all nice cameras, pick the one the feels right in your hands & you'll no doubt be happy with it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Pleased with quality vs. price.
I've had the Sony DSC-H5 for about three months and all-in-all am very satisfied. This is my first digital camera, being an old SLR holdout. As noted in some of the other reviews, there are some minor issues - the location of the zoom button being my biggest complaint. It's too easy to hit that by mistake when composing a shot.

5-0 out of 5 stars Comment to "Noisy...no manual features" review
I don't think you can compare this camera to the canon S2/S3 or the Sony H5.This is a compact, pocket camera that is half their size and weight. You will not get a zoom that is as clear as something that has twice the space to work with.Compare this to similar cameras: Sony Cybershots or Canon SDxxx then you would be more than impressed.3x versus 10x....no competition. If you are looking for a camera with a great zoom that is compact and easy to carry with you everywhere, then look no further. Also, ignore digital zoom when you are researching.Digital zoom just makes everything more blurry.Optical zoom is key to great pictures.Hope this helps others in their decision. :-)

5-0 out of 5 stars Panasonic lumix rocks
I owned two Panasomic Lumix cameras: FZ1 and TZ1. Besides them, I also have extensive experiences using Canon , Nikon models that were highly rated. The major usage of my camera are for shooting macro images, and nothing beats Lumix in that. The images yielded by Lumic are so precise, cripsy, natural. Once you own a Panasonic Lumix, it is difficult to go with other models. The combination of the LEICA lens, the high resolution LCD, and the magical autonomic shooting mode makes Lumix unbeatable! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars you pay for what you get
This camera is great! There's no question about it.It takes great pics indoors and out, has greeaat battery life, and small enough to insert into a shirt pocket. I upgraded from an olympus which is 3 years old, and did not regret one bit. There's nothing wrong with the olympus, just wanted a newer camera with better shutter lag. Also love the pics playback on its 3" lcd screen with different music moods -- at first i thought what a cheesy feature but grown to like it almost immediately. I got mine at a major retailer at premium price and it looks like the price has dropped quite a bit now... my advice to anyone who's reading this: Stop doing your research and get this camera!

5-0 out of 5 stars RAW noise reduction
great camera, the image stablilzer isnt so much better then other models from other companies. BUT, the RAW(an algorithum applied at the code itself, as opposed to after interpolation of the image)image noise reducer really works well. I can't say enough about that feature. I mean at iso 1k, there's still a "little bit" of noise, but it's not nearly as bad(most people wont notice it, certainly not the common user) as some of the older cameras that just fully blurred out. DO get the lcd protector/cover(they sell them here at amazon, i dont know what brand), otherwise the lcd will get scratched from just being in pocket with keys.
5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome Value, Amazing, what more to say!!
3in LCD, White Balance, 7+mp res., Zeiss lense, compact enough for any pocket or pocket book, and good battery life, you know just to name some of the high lights this little package has. A great value, a lot of bang for the bucks. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Scanner
I have scanned about 2,000 slides into my Macintosh computer. The results are excellent and the capability of doing 12 35 mm slides in a batch reduces the amount of time required.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Scanner
I have had great success with the 9950F. The only problem I had was after the first time I used the scanner. I couldn't find it in my computer. The manuals etc., after loading software placed them on my desktop, but the scanner wasn't there. I hunted and hunted, then decided to put it in search and my computer searched all drives and it couldn't find it either. So I decided to reload the software and it came up already loaded, but the manuals etc. which were on the Desktop and would open when clicked, said they weren't loaded and they recommended loading this software. Anyway, after frustratingly searching, I accidentally found the 9950F under Import in Adobe Photoshop Elements II, Elements came with the scanner. Hope this tip helps someone else. The first thing I scanned, was a 35mm negative, 100 ASA Fuji film, which I enlarged to a 13X19 print; it is excellent. You can't tell it wasn't printed 10 years ago by a professional lab, before all this new technology. I highly recommend this scanner. Also be sure and place black paper over open spaces after loading negs or slides, as the instructions recommend. The scan goes much faster. I tried a shortcut and used the cover of a notebook and it left some open spaces and this took extra time. I bought some black paper and placed it at right angles so all open areas were covered. This sped up the scanning process immensely. I used an Epson scanner at our local library. It was a 2400X4800 dpi and it did a nice job. I read reviews for months before I parted with the cash for my own scanner and I am very pleased with my choice. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Not very impressed at all!!!!
This camera takes decent pictures half of the time, the rest suck!!The colors are off, people look darker then they are.Maybe the flash is not strong enough.I have seen pictures from 4 different occasions, mostly indoor, and 1/3 to 1/2 of the pictures come out right. It has an impressive list of features and I really like the design. I did a lot of research before getting it and looked at all the pictures online, but I am not very satisfied with it.I have used a Kodak, Olympus and a Nikon in the past and liked the picture quality on all of them, but the pictures from this camera do not come close to the other ones.

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome camera!
I'm 45 years old and have owned two cameras in my life. So I guess that doesn't make me an expert or anything. My previous camera was a Canon Powershot film camera, purchased 17 years ago for about $150 at Target. And it still works great. People always have said, "That camera takes great pictures." I felt like a genius, but really just bought it because it was on sale. After finally converting over to Macs and loving the iPhoto software, I decided to go digital. I automatically started looking at Canons because of the years of pleasure my other Canon gave me. I stumbled across this camera at Amazon and figured a 4.5 star average rating with 199 customer reviews had to mean it was decent. And I also read great reviews of it elsewhere. So I decided to take the plunge. Funny thing...I must've got one of the last ones of these that Amazon itself was selling. Because the price on the descriptioin page when I went to put it in my cart was $329.99. But when I added it to my cart, the price changed to $214.99...and I have no idea why. I was worried that I was gonna get some camera that was returned or something, but the customer service rep at Amazon said that that wasn't the case...that mine was a brand new camera. When it came, sure enough...it was brand new. I've only used it for about 5 days, but I love everything about it. Even the 2" screen seems plently big enough for me. The pictures are fabulous. And I was able to start taking pix right out of the box. The only thing I had to consult the manual for was how to set the time and date. Other than that, at least on the AUTO setting, it's just point and shoot. And the pix upload beautifully into my Mac PowerBook's iPhoto library. The best part, in my opinion, about using this camera with a Mac? I didn't even have to load the multiple software packages that came with the Canon camera. iPhoto handles most everything, and what it doesn't I can do in Photoshop. This is a great camera, which I think has been replaced by the A630. But I don't care! I got a great deal and love the A620. The only caveat? Buy yourself a good set of rechargeable NiMH batteries and a quality charger, like I did. Using regular AA batteries may end up costing a lot in the long run. I'd recommend the Canon A620 to anyone looking for a mid-range, quality digital camera. Look around for bargain prices on the web, though. There may be places blowing these out to make room for the A630.

2-0 out of 5 stars Not very good
OK, I've spent years using a nice film camera -- solid body, good, interchangeable lenses, etc. -- so maybe I'm biased, but this camera just doesn't do it for me.

4-0 out of 5 stars Get the Rebel XTi (from a 30D owner)
All the reviews praising this as the best Canon DSLR for the cost were posted before the Canon Rebel XTi was introduced.I own the 30D and I am very pleased with it, however I also bought it a few weeks before the Rebel XTi was fully announced. The Rebel XTi has more megapixels than the 30D (10 vs 8) and the XTi has a self dust cleaning system which the 30D does not have. The only true reason to choose the 30D over the XTi is if you are a serious sports photographer and need 5 frames per second (30D) instead of 3 fps (XTi).Another major distinction between the two bodies is the size. The XTi is much smaller than the 30D.Some love this, while others with large hands prefer the larger size of the 30D.Since the XTi is about $[...] less than the 30D I would have to advise you to get the XTi.
5-0 out of 5 stars I have had mine for 6 months
First I shopped around a lot and settled on the 30D. This camera has not let me down at all. I have taken over 10,000 photographs (Not all good) But have gotten some great shots. I am still learning different things with photography and every time I want to try something new the Canon 30d is capable and grows with me. I now have 3 lenses with most of my range and have not at any time regretted my decision buying this camera. It is very easy to use also.

5-0 out of 5 stars Love It
I have mine about a month now & took it on vacation where I put it thru a lot of use. I really like it. I got about 500 pics out of one charge on the battery. Quality is great. Used it in all modes. The speed at which I could take multiple frames, great. No complaints, wouldn't trade it for anything. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars After 2 years of use, its STILL a 5 star printer
I've had my i9900 for almost two years now.I've printed everything from 4x6 glossy prints to 13x19 fine art prints on matte paper. The short review:This printer is amazing.Read on for a longer review.
1-0 out of 5 stars Great if you only want it for a year
I bought this printer and it was great for a year. The photo printing quality was excellent. It was fast etc. Then it died, Canon service misdiagnosed the burnt board as a power supply issue first then wanted $300 for the repair. Others have reported the same here and elsewhere. Buyer beware on this one.

5-0 out of 5 stars Absolutely great printer
This is an amazing printer. It is very easy to set up (takes about 10 minutes) and performs almost instantly.I have a mac and I'm always skeptical about adding new printer drivers, but this worked out easily enough.I'm sure it does work, but the firewire connection on my computer didn't read the printer. However, it worked like a charm when I plugged in the USB cable.
