4-0 out of 5 stars Incorrect Product Description
The camera itself makes me quite happy.Unfortunately the Pentax 18-55mm f/3.5 - 5.6 lens described above (1 inch / 4.9 ounces) does not (as far as I can see) exist.Instead Amazon ships the standard Pentax 18-55mm f/3.5 - 5.6 kit lens... not bad but it can hardly be described as "hardly protrud[ing] from the camera.

5-0 out of 5 stars Worth it
I own a pentax zx 30 35 mm camera with a 28mm-210mm lens on it. I was shopping a while for a digital camera, bought the canon powershot a620.But sold it after 4 weeks, I feel more natural with a SLR style than the point and shoot camera. Finally after much research, landed on this one, knowing very well that there are superior cameras out there in the market. And I never needed a camera in 8MP - 10MP range. 4 MP - 6MP is all (my opinion) one needs for prints of 4 x 6 sizes.
4-0 out of 5 stars Great camera - BE CAREFUL with legacy K-mount lenses
Great camera...good quality pictures... easy to use... all of these are true of the K100D.

2-0 out of 5 stars be careful of this one
A friend gave me this card for free, when I travled to Arizona. I use this card in my Dell X51V.
3-0 out of 5 stars No, not this one
This is not the one you want to get. You want the Lexar 1 GB 32X SD card. They look the same, except for the "32X" designation.

1-0 out of 5 stars Never work properly
I bought this SD card on April 11. Unfortunately, the card doesn't work properly, in fact, my camera and my computer never detect it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Epson 4990 PhotoScanner
I needed a machine to scan my collection of transparencies and color negatives. This model seemed to have what was needed. After loading the software, I began with Monaco EZ color and ran the calibrations and created the profiles for transparencies and reflective prints; this was fast and fun. I was surprised with the closely matching results.
5-0 out of 5 stars One of the best!
This is a well engineered and versatile scanner. Film holders are numerous and well designed; film scanning rivals some
1-0 out of 5 stars Watch out for film deposits under the glass!
My six months old 4990 has a noticeable film deposits under the glass. The glass was clear when I bought it. Apparently other owners of the 4990 have had identicle problems (discussions at howtofixcomputers.com). Epson will clean it for free if the 4990 is still under warranty, but this is not a one time problem, but a continuous one (you have to pay Epson to clean the glass after warranty expires). The film is visible when the 4990 is powered up and the interior light is on. With the lid out of the way, look at the glass at 10 to 30 degrees angle. I hope your glass is clear. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Zoom Zoom
I definitely agree with some of the comments that the 10x Zoom is excellent and the indoor shots aren't great. The main reason I scooped up this camera for my secondment here in Melbourne, Australia is the 10x Zoom.I got fed up of 3x Zoom cameras that don't take great landscape shots, especially since I travel a lot outside the US.The sales lady also recommended this camera to me for the indoor shots as it shoots flashes to several areas in Indoor Mode; however, when I took several indoor shots, they're always blurry. That really bites and can't figure out how to fix that problem. Also, night shots aren't the greatest and I'm working on that part too.
1-0 out of 5 stars looks good on paper
not worth the money. takes fuzzy pictures. eats batteries real quick. quite a disappointment

3-0 out of 5 stars Great photos but slow and cumbersome
I bought a 4 megapixel Sony DSC S90 last Christmas, and it worked fine, but I thought I could do better. Taking pictures of flats like books and magazines all day long, I thought a camera with a swivel lens design was exactly what I needed. That way I could point the lens down while keeping the LCD at eye range and not have to bend over all day. The Nikon Coolpix S4 is the only one currently on the market with that swivel body many people understandably love (I thought about getting an old Nikon Coolpix 4500 with a puny 1.5 inch LCD off ebay, but that's taking a big gamble). I hate to say it because it sounds so innovative, but this swivel design may not be for me. I just find the S4 cumbersome, a lot harder to handle than the Sony. It takes longer to set up than the Sony. Also, 90% of the time I was getting that blur warning - well, it's hard to keep the camera steady when you have to press hard down on the shutter to get it to go (pressing it halfway sets the camera's exposure but why not be able to set it some other way??). You just have to tap the shutter on the Sony - I took for granted how nice and easy it was. I thought the blur warning on the S4 would be terrific because I would upload pictures from the Sony into my PC and then see that some (not many) were a bit blurry, and I'd have to debate going back and setting up shots again. But the 2.5 inch Sony LCD is nice and clear, so usually you can tell if the picture is going to be blurry. The Nikon 2.5 inch LCD is NOT nice and clear so you DO need that blur warning set to ON. I'll try it for a couple of more days, taking pictures with the blur warning off, and see how sharp they look on my computer. But I believe I'm headed back to the Circuit City returns department to pay that bloody 15% restocking fee. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Silver Casing Defective
There is a manufactoring defect with the casing on this camera... the silver material is very breakable. After a couple months of owning this item the battery comparement latch broke off so now I have to hold it closed. The same exact thing happened to me with a similarly designed earlier model (Stylus 300). The design structure of this series is very poor.
5-0 out of 5 stars Great camera, large screen, rechargeable battery
I liked the size and features of this camera. I especially liked the fact that the battery is rechargeable, as we have had other cameras that quickly go through AA batteries. This camera has a large screen, is user friendly, and fairly sturdy.A cover conceals and protects the cable ports.

2-0 out of 5 stars Disappointed!
This is my second digital camera. I started with an HP 318 - anice starter camera. When I decided to step up I did not research well enough. I get some very good shots with the 600, but the lack of a viewfinder on a sunny day is an insurmountable problem. It is worse than shooting blind because all you see in the viewfinder is your own reflection. As a side note, Olympus tech support was totally unsympathetic and suggested I try to find a 3rd party clip on shading device for the unit. I could not find one.

2-0 out of 5 stars Looks good, feels good, but quality, totally unreliable
I may have a camera that is defective, but i found that this camera can only take a crisp photo in excellent OUTDOOR only light conditions. But even then after a while, only ever 4th picture would come out. I am a true lover of the self portrait, but every time you try, the people in this close up come out black, and the back senery comes out great... This could just be my own loss in skills, but i dont think so since my last Casio 5MP, did not have this problem, even though it also had a pentax lens.
4-0 out of 5 stars Firmware 1.01 update fixed the lag time
Just picked up my Pentax A10 at Costco a couple of day ago and here's my thoughts.
4-0 out of 5 stars Great Travel Camera!!
My Pentax Optio S died in Sapporo and I didn't have time or inclination for a travel repair, so I went in to Yodobashi Camera to see what they had.I looked at some Cannon but settled on Pentax again figuring I wouldn't have a steep learning curve.I was right. It runs very similarly to all the Optio family. It's slightly larger than the Optio S line but is still as small as it gets.

5-0 out of 5 stars Just what I needed
This is a very basic camera, easy to use, and easy to transfer pictures, either through the software or SD card. At first, I was appalled at the low battery life, but then I read the manual which said using the flash and/or LCD screen excessively wears out the batteries. It's a bit of an inconvinience for some to use the little boxy see through thing instead of the LCD but I don't mind; I've had a manual camera for most of my life and I'm used to it anyways. It takes nice, sharp pictures, though it does get a bit grainy if you zoom in too much (it has digital, not optical zoom). I also love the fact that it's pretty small, relatively lightweight, and durable (I've dropped it loads of times and it still works like a charm), so I just throw it in whatever bag or purse I'm using for the day. The video capture thing is pretty cool too, though there isn't any sound, it's a nice bonus feature. Considering I got this camera for [...] bucks at Fry's, I am more than satisfied.
5-0 out of 5 stars Just what I needed
I really like this camera. I use it for photos that I take for my Romantic Oregon Coast Vacations web site [...]
4-0 out of 5 stars Exactly What I Need!
I only gave this 4 stars because what I need in a camera may not be what you need in a camera.

5-0 out of 5 stars The fun of it is the most important part
I definately love this camera. It's incredibly fun and gratifying to get your pictures developed a minute after you take them, and this camera in all honesty isn't meant to be professional. If you want professional quality go buy an slr or a digital. This kind of camera should be purely considered for enjoyment. Yes it is heavy but not in a way that makes it uncomfortable--it's bulk makes it nostalgic. It has very basic camera features and is one of, if not the, easiet camera i've ever used--just shove the film in and go.The camera takes decent quality pictures and tends to put a slight sepia tint on them when taken inside, but i consider that a cool trademark effect. The features of this camera include a lens that can be slid over to take closer pictures, a sliding numberless aperture setting, built in flash, and a button that lets you control the use of your flash. The only drawback is the fact that you can't take pictures closer than 2 feet (like all polaroid cameras). The lens of the camera also makes ojects closer to the camera larger in proportion to ojects farther from the cameraon the prints but it's not incredibly noticable. Overall, I enjoy it very much and would whole-eartedly recommend it for anyone.

4-0 out of 5 stars A Handy Cam
This is a nice camera for those quick instant photos you want of people. However the size of it is large and the photos aren't exactly TOP quality. It's nice to have for those quick shots to show right away. The actualpicture aren't something you put in a scrapbook or picture book, but Iwouldn't buy this camera for those reasons. These pictures are ment forthe refrigerator or a bulliten board to look at on your way out or forquick viewing.Thats why I like it because the pictures are nice to lookat, but they're not priceless pictures that you treasure. So in conclusion,I would highly recommend this camera for fun and quick purposes.

3-0 out of 5 stars Oops... I dropped it again
This camera feels like hold a huge sandwich. This thing almost slipped out of my hands when I was tired, but the bad thing was when the retailer swept the dust off the camera to show it to me. And then BANG! he took a picture of me when I least suspect it. The flash stunned me for a while...Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Lasts for a couple of years
The card gave up on me after a couple of years of moderate use. A memory card doesn't have many moving parts so I thought it would last forever. Fortunately it broke when I was at home, it would have been a disaster if it was on a vacation on a small island somewhere in Asia.
1-0 out of 5 stars poor customer service
I purchased this memory card for a camera I was also purchasing. It was listed as an accessory to the camera on the same page. When I received the card first and then the camera, I was disappointed that the card was the wrong shape and size for the camera and would not fit. Because I had opened the plastic package to the card, I was unable to return it. In fact, when I emailed the company who sent it, I never even received a response.

4-0 out of 5 stars Faster than my older CF cards
In general, I have realised that CF cards have a 1-2 years life. This is my 3rd CF card in 5 years, and my 2nd Sandisk card to-date. My first (also Sandisk) is still working, but its only 32MB so not very useful on long trips except as backup. With a 5 Megapixel Canon, this 512Mb card stores about 200 highest resolution images.Have used this for only 3 months so far, but have noted that the Ultra II is definitely faster than others. Quality and life seems to be better than the Viking cards I have used, but time will have to tell how true that is. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Buy for the money
This is a great buy if you are just wanting to have some fun, with no real investment.Although it does go beyond 17 feet, and that is not as far as you may think. But, I used it while snorkeling and the pictures turned out great, and i am sure a few were more than 17 feet.

3-0 out of 5 stars underwater camera review
The quick snap camera was very good.My husband and I took it snorkeling and cave tubing. It was great for snorkeling because we went on a sunny day, but if the clouds passed over or we were in a shady spot under the water, it wasn't so great.About half of our pictures came out really nice.It was not so good on the cave tubing trip because we were in a cave and needed a flash. If you use it on a sunny day, you will love it.Otherwise, try to get one with a flash. ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Great for the first 8 months or so
Aside from the fact that the camera was eating batteries like they were M&Ms (no matter how powerful the battery -- even rechargeables), we were very pleased with the camera and dock after receiving it as a gift right after Christmas.I hadn't had good experiences with Kodak's digital cameras previously and was excited that they had improved so much!
5-0 out of 5 stars You Won't Be Sorry
I bought the Kodak Easyshare Z700 Digital Camera and Kodak Printer Dock (Series 3)a month ago and I am blown away by the beautiful pictures I can take with this camera and the ease of printing them with the printer dock. This is my first digital camera and I was afraid that with my limited knowledge, I would really goof everything up, but this camera is practically goof proof. The printer is equally easy to use. Don't be afraid of this camera and printer if you have no experience with a digital. If I can do it, anyone can.

5-0 out of 5 stars Super easy to use camera & printer
Love this camera and printer. The most simply camera and printer to use that I have ever purchased.Wonderful color prints. I have several digital cameras and this is by far my favorite. 5-0 out of 5 stars great pictures at home
I love this product, because I love the camera and the printing dock.I have been using them for 2 years. My daughter-in -law and son got theirs a little earlier because of the arrival of their first child.I saw it and had to have one of these marvelous things that I could do by myself at home.I think she discovered your site and that you sold the product. We have both purchased from you a few times. Thanks for the reasonable film prices that have allowed me to take more pictures and copy for my friends and relatives.

5-0 out of 5 stars Works great no more guesswork
I was initially very skeptical of rangefinders after using a friends and not being able to easily acquire the target.Once I decided on this model and used it I haven't got one bad thing to say about it.Target acquisition is super fast and accurate, just point at the flagstick or target needing yardage feedback and it shoots it with the correct yardage immediately.Buy this unit with no doubts that you will have purchased the best rangefinder available.I have gotten yardages from the flag at over 280 yards with it so far and I'm sure it will go further than that once I try. It gives you total confidence that you are using the right club and you will soon know exactly how far you hit each club to the yard.No more guesswork.

I considered various alternatives of rangefinders and am thrilled that I chose both this type and this model. It is easy to use, has great features and is very accurate.I primarily use just the distance feature, but for non-competitive rounds the effective distance feature taking into consideration upward or downward slope is very cool.I also like the carrying case which can be attached to a bag or pull cart and provides easy accessibility to the rangefinder.I just returned from a trip to Ireland where many of the courses have few if any distance markers. It was indespensible.

3-0 out of 5 stars Beware-this is not tournament legal
The Pinseeker Tournament Edition is the yardage pro you want to purchase. This yardage pro has slope and
