Well built and plenty of room!
I'm carrying two digital camera bodies, a 70x200mm 2.8 zoom (which is BIG), a 100-300mm 5.6 zoom, a 28-105mm, a 2x extender, a battery grip, a flash attachment, four extra batteries, a dozen CF cards, and some other small accessories and it all fits.For my purposes, this is the perfect fit to carry everything I need for a day's shoot without feeling like I've overpacked. ... spring clip or needs a belt ?
I anticipate this is a quality item: cannot find it in retail stores - does anyone know if this requires that a person wear a belt or will it clip to a waistband like a cell phone holster does? Do any slim camera cases have the "spring clip" attachment that I am looking for (I dont wear belts)

Flexible but bulky
I bought this for a Canon A70, and thought that it fit very nicely. The snap fitting for the belt loop is clever, so you don't have to remove your belt to attach it. The front compartment that holds batteries and a spare CF card is a little snug when full - I made sure my CF case was strong. I decided that it was too bulky and that I really didn't need to carry all of those spares all the time, and that a sleeker case without the extra compartment and associated extra padding was more what I needed. All in all, it is well designed for what it is.

Works for me
I think this is a great case for my S2. Yes it is a little snug but if you don't carry more than the camera, some batteries and SD cards then I would suggest it. If you need more room, go for a larger case.

too small if you have lens adapter mounted on Canon S2/S3
This is a nice bag for the Canon S2 if you have no accessories attached to the camera.However, if you have mounted the LAH-DC20 lens/filter adapter on your S2 or S3, then the camera will *not* fit in the bag.Further, there is no room in the bag to store the adapter separately.If you never use filters or accessory lenses, then you will be happy with this bag.

Caution - Not large enough for S2
This is bag is not for the S2. It may be 5 Star for cameras that it is made for. However, contrary to some ratings, I found the bag too tight for my S2 and there is certainly not enough room for a mini tripod with it! Be aware that the S1 is smaller than the S2. It *smells*
The N25 strap is comfortable and its quick release is handy. But, I hate to say it, the rubber smells like sour farts. And before long, your collar does too, all on its own. Pefect for S2 with lens adapter
This bag is perfect for Canon S2 IS with lens adapter. The camera fits very well in the bag while not very snug. There are many soft interface which seems to protect the camera very well, and the construct of the bag is solid. I also like the size of this bag, just a little bigger than S2.

Great Lightweight Backpack w/ Plenty of Space
I've read a few bad reviews stating that this bag is too small, I disagree and I had to write a review myself. I was looking for a small, light backpack that fits my equipment snug and isn't loose and bulky. With a bigger bag, you're equipment shakes all around the back when you're walking. I don't need a student size backpack because I'm not going back to school and I'm not going to put textbooks in it!! This backpack has everything that I need.
Fit a 20D with Lens Attached?
Tamrac claimed on their sight that the Adventure 6 (5546) can fit a 20D with lens attached. I reviewed this bag at a local camera shop and it looks like a kid's bag! 20D with a lens attached, Tamrac should specify maybe a 50mm. I agree with Michael's review about the size and unless you are looking for a very small bag, you'll be disappointed. The size of the Adventure 7 (5547) seems ok, it's about the size of a standard student backpack. These backpacks have compartments for memory cards and batteries and other small items that I really like. Even though the Adventure 7 satisfies my storage needs, I won't buy it because of the tripod placement. You have to buy separate accesories to attach the tripod and the attachment is at the bottom. This bottom attachment is really inconvenient because you'll always should remove the tripod before you set the bag down.

Very nice, affordable hip bag ...
I generally agree w/ other positive reviews about this bag.I've owned one for nearly 3 years now and still like it though I have finally outgrown its cozy size/fit w/ my Nikon D200.I originally did a lot of shopping before choosing this bag for my then Canon Powershot G3 kit, which included tele and wide lens converters and a 420EX speedlight, w/ expectation that I would keep using it when I eventually upgrade to a D-SLR.And when I did upgrade to a Nikon D70 (upon its initial release back in 3/04), the bag continued to serve me well though yes it was a very tight fit w/ the D70 + a small-to-mid-size lens attached pointed down and Sigma 70-200 EX f/2.8 next to it -- the tightness was mainly between the width of the D70 body and the width of the 70-200 f/2.8 telezoom.FWIW, I also briefly had a Nikon D50 that fit quite a bit easier and comfortably cozy w/ the same configuration.
Great for the Digital Tourist!
I bought this bag a while ago, and it had since gone to London with me.I could not have made a better choice.Firstly, it feels surprisingly light, even when full.It is comfortable to carry with the shoulder strap (well-padded) or the waist strap (wide and adjustable for larger waists.)It has 4 moveable sectioners to enable you to organize your gear.
Great All Around Camera Bag
I am very impressed with the quality and durability of this product.I keep my Pentax digital SLR, Tamron 28-300mm Lens, Pentax Extermal Flash, and rapid battery charger.I don't think you can get smaller than this and still fit all those items, nor bigger without becoming too bulky.It is very comfortable to wear with shoulder strap and has gel pad where it lies against the hip.The clips that attach strap to bag are thick, sturdy, metal.I don't feel like the camera is going to pop out if the cover isn't snapped properly, like it had with 2 other cases.The camera is very easy to access when the cover is on.This is a really great case.I did much research in looking for the best case which is small enough, big enough, safe, comfortable, and durable.I feel like I made a great choice.My dad had just bought a case and already has this one ordered to replace it! ... While the fit is tight using the Nikon D200 with MB-200 Grip attached, it does fit. If you have a super zoom like the 24-120 Vr or the 18-200 VR, and even the 70-300 lens, you have an easy way to carry your setup with a large SLR.

Nice balance of size and capacity
If you need to carry a decent sized SLR and a couple of lenses around for prolonged periods, then I would recommend you take a look at this bag.
Great All-Around Bag - (especiallyif you are petite and fashion conscious)
I had a lot of trouble finding a bag that I felt suited my petite frame. I am 5',1" and 95 pounds and I am also rather fashion conscious. I was honestly going to give up on looking for a bag because they were all either 1) incredibly ugly or 2) too large or small for my equipment. I own a Canon 30D and a Canon 70-200mm USM L lens (and hopefully more lenses in the near future).

Tough As Nails Bag
I've been using my Tamrac Pro12 bag for several years and it's still in like-new condition. The bag is plenty large enough to hold all my gear with room to spare. The dividers allow for a large variety of layout options and has plenty of pockets for accessories. The bag is well padded and made with a tough snag and rip resistant fabric. All the seams appear to well stiched too, with box-stiching on all the major stress points. The carry strap is contoured, well padded and slip-resistant which makes for a much more comfortable day of lugging heavy camera bodies and lenses around.

Have been able to my Canon 20D, 70-300mm lens,Canon Elan,70-280mm lens, a 50mm lens, 580 and 430 flashes, Turbo Z,Epson P2000, all of chargers into the main compartments. Great for a day's work
I recently purchased the Tamrac 5273 backpack, and it's a great little pack if you're out shooting for the day and don't have too much (or if you have smaller) equipment. The comparments and pockets are well-organized and well-padded, everything is pretty easy to access, it's comfortable to wear, and it's certainly sturdy enough for all the environments I use it for (nature-hiking, city-trekking, etc.).

Nice bag! However...
I never tried a Tamrac camera bag before, and I must say that I really like this model. Nice durable construction with a padded interior to protect your camera(s) and equipment. That being said, I am a little dubious about the claim that it will fit two SLRs with lenses attached. Certainly if your lenses are fixed then it shouldn't be a problem, but if both are equipped with zooms then you may run out of room. I have a Nikon D70s, and with the 18-70mm DX kit lens attached it reaches just about to the center of the bag or slightly past it. Either way, two cameras like that would result in the lenses touching tightly at the caps. As my other camera is a Coolpix 5400 room isn't an issue, but it did factor into me giving the Pro 4 stars instead of 5. So basically, if you have one SLR and want a roomy bag with adjustable dividers and pocket space then this may be what you're looking for, otherwise you may want to look for a larger model.

As capacious as ...
I bought the Tamrac 5608 Pro 8 because it easily holds holds two pro sized SLR bodies (Nikon F3s with short-ish lenses and the 8 AA battery powered MD4 motor drives attached) and 4 additional lenses, but its active career in my 'photo-arsenal' was short lived. Roomy yet light.
Well finished, balanced, beauty... a very very nice camera bag. I�m not fond of back-packs or kangaroo pouches for carrying my photo gear. I prefer the classic, standard, shoulder-hanged bag. I particularly feel this one as a very safe and rugged one.Read more

I used this backpack to take pictures in the Anartic, South Georgia and Falkland Islands. It was extremely comfortable (I had a Nixon with a telephoto lens plus three more lenses - tripod, etc. Equipment was accessible and the weight was nicely distributed for ease of carrying. This was more important for me as I am an above the knee amputee and walk with a prosthesis and walking sticks.

Very nice photo backpack
I was upgrading from a smaller microtrekker bag because it wouldn't hold the longer zoom lens I recently purchased.The Expedition 7 bag is plenty big (too big?) for lots of gear, accessories, etc.It isn't a light bag (weighs roughly 6 pounds with nothing in it) but it has great shoulder and back support and comfort.I'm using it now for my camera gear as well as a camcorder. I'm happy with the purchase.

This Bag is made for Heavy hauling
The 5577 Expedition is well named.You could go on an expedition with this bag and feel very secure that your gear would be protected.This is not a small bag and will carry just about everything you would ever need.Be prepared though, once it is packed it is a load.More than enough room for my equipment.Very rugged.Very well padded at the shoulder harness and lumbar areas.Very Nice accessory pockets.With the MAS system you can even add more attachments to carry more.I would highly recommend! ...
