1-0 out of 5 stars not impressed
I bought this cam because i was going on vacation to florida, i'm dissappointed with the quality the cam has, very poor, sometimes blurry, doesnt matter what you do with the settings to change it still does the same thing, as to the video quality it's just as poor, the zoom is bad too cause when you zoom in to an object it becomes so dazzled that you can't make out what it is. i will continue to look for a cam online.

4-0 out of 5 stars I have a different DXG camcorder, and I like it
I don't have the 202v, but I do have a similar DXG product. Please take a look at my review for the DXG-305v.
4-0 out of 5 stars Not bad, for the price
I was looking for a camera to use primarily as a web cam, occasional use as a still camera and maybe to play around some with video. This camera fit the bill well.Using a 75 watt full specturm light bulb as a light source it works rather well as a web cam. It's 5x7 snapshot size stills fit my needs well. It's video needs very good lighting and tends to "jump" if you move quickly, but then my $300 VHS-C Camcoder suffered from the same jumping effect.

2-0 out of 5 stars Yecch!
My entire problem with this camera is how s-l-o-w it is.Yes, I understand a 3.2 megapixel cheapie isn't going to take the best of shots, but I tried this recently with a DXG 301V "camcorder" back to back. The 301V takes average quality shots, and is ready again in 2-3 seconds. The 308 takes 5-7 seconds, and requires the brightest possible light.Even on a sunny morning the "watch for shake" icon is on.Practically all my pictures have some blur or distortion in them; At first I thought there was something wrong with the lens, until I took several pictures with a blur line right down them.I realized this camera is scanning the image so slowly that it's taking a second or so after I press the button to record anything. The 308 honestly is acting like it has an ISO of 25 and is something from the 1980's.
2-0 out of 5 stars Save your money
I don't recommend this camera to anyone. It usually takes terrible pictures and it drinks up battery juice like cheap wiskey. The flash won't work when you need it to and its hard to see the view screen. The zoom is relatively decent; and when you can get it to work right, it can take some okay pictures and video clips, but no one should waste their money on the DXG-308. There are so many great cameras out there, so save up and buy one you'll love. I recomend Cannon or Nikon.

1-0 out of 5 stars **DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA**
This is quite possibly THE WORSE purchase I have EVER made in my life! I bought the camera the day before my son's graduation. I read through the User Manual, which doesn't really tell you anything...and thought all was ok. I was wrong. When my son's name was called to go up on stage to get his award, I realized (in COMPLETE horror)that the "preview display window" was dark. I was not able to take one single picture of my son walking down the aisle, when he received the diploma...nothing! This camera ruined our day. I was not able to take pictures until the graduation was over! Seems like it only takes pics outside. When I went on the DXGUSA website to their FAQ section, it states the camera is really made to be used in "natural light". The 4 pictures that I did manage to get took all day to capture because it took the darn thing like 15 seconds to "load" between each picture. (Try telling 5 teens to stay still in the same position until the camera decides it's ready to shoot again!)I ended up buying a disposable camera for 4 dollars and the pictures (taken way after the graduation was over) were much better. Kids don't graduate everyday, we missed out on all of the memories we could have had...if only I did not purchase this CRAPPY camera. I am so disappointed! Please do yourselves a favor: STAY AWAY FROM THIS CAMERA.

3-0 out of 5 stars Ehhh... It's OK
See I'm a teeenager and I got this camera on sale its a great value, you get what you pay for, the software which accompainies it STINKS, but for saving memories and quick photos for someone on a tight budget its fine, though I plan on up grading. The camera is a good idea for parents with kinds which want a camera because if it gets destroyed its not alot of money but you should get memory ad it only holds 17 photos, on a good day. Peace.

1-0 out of 5 stars The worst digital camera ever!!!!
This is the worst digital camera I've ever owned.I got it as a gift for Christmas, and I'm sorry my family member wasted their money on it.It's no wonder it was a super low price. You really do get what you pay for. It's missing the install software cd.And when I contacted the camera manufacturer they could't even tell me who made the software.Usually you can get the sofware off the manufacturer website if this occurs but they didn't even provide that.DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS!!!Splurge on a name brand like cannon!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars good camera
I got this camera on sale for next to nothing. But it is a great camera. It has up to 6.6 megapixels, takes pretty good videos and is very lightweight and compact. The memory on this camera is very low so I recomend getting a memory for it. ... Read more

The Kyocera Finecam L3v sets industry standards with its 2.5-inch LCD screen. Compared to typical digital camera LCD's, it's like having a home theater in your digital camera. 5-0 out of 5 stars LOVE THIS CAMERA
THIS IS A GREAT CAMERA AND I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS. IT TAKES HIGH QUALITY PICTURES WHICH I HAVE BLOWN UP TO 18X20 AND THEY LOOK AMAZING.
3-0 out of 5 stars Enclosed battery does work, though its power fluctuates
The included battery for this camera at first appeared to be a dud, as it displayed "LOW BATTERY" after only 4 pictures were taken. Though upon turning it on two weeks later, the cam indicated the battery was full. Two people I know who bought this same model told me they had similar experiences, though their batteries 'normalized' sooner than mine. Obviously for this reason I can't recommend this that highly but be aware the battery does contain a normal amt. of power.
3-0 out of 5 stars low battery
This is a great camera but which battery will keep its charge to take 50 pictures? I have tried 1800 mah & 2000 mah and the battery gets very low when 10 pictures are taken. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Horrible Camera, do not buy!!!
If you know whats good for you, do not buy this camera. When taking indoor pictures, the LCD is so dark that you can't even tell what your pointing the camera at. The pictures turn out exactly what you see on the LCD. Indoor pictures with flash on are so bright, you can barely make out the picture past all the white. An indoor picture without the flash turns out completely black. This camera is useless. I have a camera that is over 6 years old, and it is 10x better and easier to use. I wouldn't recommend this camera to my worst enemy. I'm just glad I only paid $30 for it. Although, its not even worth that much.I only managed to get a couple of not so great pics out of it, and now I'm ready to just toss it.

1-0 out of 5 stars DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA!!!!
I bought this camera last year for my daughter. It was so horrible I had to buy her a different one.I gave it to my twelve year old niece (not good for her but something to start her out with)It broke within a couple of months. The pictures it took were not worth buying.

4-0 out of 5 stars To buy or not to buy...
My dad got me this camera for a trip to Australia... I'm using it for other things and I'd just give it an OK. I mean the flash DOES take a long time to load but it is small and has an amazing internal hard drive. If you stand still (It's harder than you think) you can take pictures that are crisp and perfect but if you don't, you'll find yourself re-taking the photo.

4-0 out of 5 stars A Good Shooter
The Kyocera / Yashica T4 Zoom is a well-made, handsome and very compact zoom film camera. The lens has above-average sharpness and photos taken with this camera show little or no vignetting, a problem typical of these cameras. The camera is very easy to use and, although its small size makes for tiny controls, it's not hard to use. Color saturation is very good and contrast isn't bad, but photos may be overall a bit dark because of the slow lens speeds. My only complaint is that, at wide-angle settings, the flash isn't very powerful, but it's acceptable at close-up range. This camera probably won't take photos that are as sharp as those taken by a single focal length camera (like the Olympus Stylus Epic with an f2.8 lens -- sharper than the original T4? Maybe!), but for a zoom camera it produces quality results.

1-0 out of 5 stars Overpriced and underwhelmed
Bought this camera a few months back and retunred it after a few rolls.Indoor pics are horrible compared to my old Pentax PS, and the camera is uncomfortable to operate. Why on earth did the put a viewfinder on the edge?Don't waste your money on this camera.Go with Pentax or Olympus for PS cameras.

4-0 out of 5 stars very happy
I've been very happy.I've had the weatherproof version of this camera without the zoom kit since about 1996.Basic rules of photography aside (lighting, composition, etc...), it has consistently taken some excellent pictures and has held up to a lot of abuse: hiking, sailing, snowboarding, kayaking (though it's never been submerged).I got a digital camera but still take my T4 on all my trips. It still works great. The super-viewfinder and timer setting (along with a pocket tripod) also comes in handy depending on the situation. I only gave it 4 stars because sometimes I wished I had a zoom, but I suppose there should be 5 stars now that it comes with a zoom kit. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Pictures with flash are blurry
I own this camera for 2 years, and I am fed up with losing picture opportunities - inside pictures are all blurry, and if person moves-the blurr is awful. Outside pictures are good, but I am going to buy Canon this time. It is probably the speed, that messes things up.

4-0 out of 5 stars 4 megapixels do more than I thought
Great Camera bought it for around $120 or so.Super clear pictures!!Really nice bright shots.Only downside is in a dark area the autoflash is so bright it whites some people out.I like the thumbnail view and full lcd view options for viewing pictures I've taken on the camera. Really good value!Love it for around the house.I've dropped this on concrete more than once and it's never bothered it. Might want a better one thought if your taking night time vacation shots though.SD cards it uses for memory are nice and affordable these days. Definetly a solid point and shoot camera in my book.

5-0 out of 5 stars CHECK THIS OUT!!
I,usually, don't do reviews but I felt strongly enough about this camara to write...I have this camara and from a beginner who wants bang for her buck, this little camara offers that. It's inexpensive, easy to learn, and most importantly gives great quality pictures. I have yet to see another 4 megapixel/ 6x zoom/5 scene selections, etc, etc for under $200.00.You'll need to go ahead and get your re-chargeable batteries but that's not expensive. Good Luck! ... 1-0 out of 5 stars Very disappointing product
I thought I was getting a great deal when I bought this camera, but the image quality has been very poor on most shots. Even with the flash, indoor shots are grainy and blurry, and outdoor shots are usually washed out no matter what setting I use. My old Webcam took better pictures. Don't waste your money.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Alternative!
I am a high school student interested in digital photography. So when I started looking for a better camera instead of my 1.3 Megapixel Vivitar, I looked at something I could afford. It came down to this Concord Eye-Q or an Olympus D-540. I really didn't recognize this brand versus the better known Olympus, but I don't think people my age need a fancy camera that costs 300.00 and has 6 megapixels, so this camera is great. It has a reasonably sized LCD screen (only 0.1 inch smaller than the Olympus) and a great optical zoom. I would recommend getting an optical zoom along with a digital zoom. You just get better details that way. This is a great camera! Hopefully when I go travelling in the spring to Aztec ruins, I will have a trusty Concord with me. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Very Good
I have owned a Kyocera L4V for 2 years now. I am very pleased with the camera's quality. It's not the best camera out there, but it certainly is perfect for beginners-intermediate users.
1-0 out of 5 stars Absolute piece of garbage - 15 min battery life maximum.
Unless you have the DC adapter and a very long extension cord, I'd recommend staying away from this camera. You'll be lucky to get more than 15 minutes of use out of this camera when running on battery power, and that's with brand new batteries. There have been too many special moments that I have not been able to capture because the battery in this camera didn't last long enough to snap a single picture. What good is a camera without power? I can't even begin to express my level of frustration with this camera. I can't even sell it to someone else and keep a clear conscience. I'd recommend saving a few extra dollars and buying a Cannon or Nikon, instead of wasting money on a product that you can't rely on.

3-0 out of 5 stars Battery Life
After I purchased this item I found that the battery is not rechargeable and you have to buy a new one at a cost of $45.00. This is very bad as the battery does not last that long...Other than that the camera seems to be great... ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Great little camera with some exceptions!!
I just received this camera in the mail and started testing it. It takes great pictures where there is a good source of light. If you take a picture in a dimly lit room the pictures do not come out too great but all you have to do is press a button, wait a few seconds, and the flash is activated. It's a very good thing that the camera has a 1.5" LCD screen that takes a couple of seconds to let you see if you want to keep the picture or not. This camera also has a 4x zoom feature which I think is really neat. Transferring the files from the camera can be a bit tricky at first because there is no message box that pops up to tell you your pictures have loaded but you should get the hang of it if you have experience with digital cameras and software. The Cd-rom has a very unique program where you can retouch and edit your picture with ease. It seems complicated at first but again once you get the hang of the software and the camera you're set.

2-0 out of 5 stars Not happy with camera
I bought this camera about 6 months a go. Within 2 hours of purchasing it, I was already taking pictures with it. My friend, who owns a Canon Powershot was taking the same pictures as me and I was immediatly unhappy with the concord. All of my pictures turned out blurry unless you kept the camera in the same postition even after you took the picture. The flash made pictures blue sometimes. It takes okay outdoor pictures but the battery life is very low. The video quality is good but there is no sound. When purchasing my next digital camera, I will make sure that I'm using a better-known, trustworthing brand
