Great Deal on Accessories for Older Canon ELPH Cameras
I bought last year's model of the Canon ELPH series because it has a CF card rather than an SD card. When I needed an extra battery, I found that for a genuine Canon battery, this kit was cheaper than just the battery alone. The small leather case is nice too, and you get the large handbag case for free as well.Throw in Amazon's super saver shiping, and this deal can't be beat. Just make sure this is the right accessory kit for your camera. It doesn't fit the current models.

Best money ever spent!
Works great.No leaks.Best advise I can give is don't use the flash.It will only eat up your batteries and scare the fish.Also, learn to use the custom white-balance.Set the short-cut button to the white-balance adjustment function.Then when you're ready to set the white-balance aim the camera at the sun when you're underwater and save the setting.You will need to adjust the setting for every 10 feet of depth change.The custom white-balance setting will make the pictures appear perfect, not washed out in blue.Also, leave the ISO set to auto.Turning it up to 400 causes the pictures to be grainy.

What a Nifty Invention
I am so very pleased with this purchase.I bought the WP-DC20 for my Canon S1IS for a trip to Hawaii.I had never snorkeled before so it was very exciting to not only see all of the wonderful underwater life but to have photos to show it to my loved ones as well.I learned that you have to get fairly close to the subject in order to get good colors (however, photoshop does wonders for toning down the blue and making the colors show better).I loved that this housing, being made specifically for my camera, allowed me to use all of the functions of the camera.When a sea turtle was peacefully swimming and eating 3 feet in front of me, I was able to quickly switch to movie mode and get some terrific underwater movie clips.You can even hear the noise of the turtle chewing on the coral to get the algae off.If you are a serious underwater photographer, you'll probably want a serious underwater setup with a strobe and all that jazz.If you have the Canon S1IS and love it (I've been so happy with my camera and the prints I've gotten with it) and want to have some underwater fun, this is a terrific toy!

Real underwater case with every access for a fraction of cost!
Unless you are a professional underwater photographer who gets paid for pictures, you probably do not want to shell out $2000 for an underwater case that's likely to be much more expensive than your camera itself.This product lowers the barrier to entry into real underwater photography of up to 130' for <$200.Pair this up with one or two underwater flash lights (which you need anyway if you are going deeper than 30 feet or so), you can have the whole setup for < $1000, since Canon S1 can be had for around $200 now.

Dive, Dive, Dive
I have been using one of these cases for a couple of years and probably 400 dives, many to the 130 foot recreational dive limit.If you follow the instructions and keep the O-ring clean and greased with silicon grease you should have no problems.

Works great
The price for this thing is pretty steep but it's made in Japan and it's well constructed. The first thing to note is that it was a little bigger than I expected which made the camera and case combo a bit bulky. It would probably be inconvenient for most land activities. It is very important to read the instruction manual for this product! The most disconcerting thing is that if it leaks and your camera gets destroyed, Canon won't pay for your camera repairs even though they designed it. Also, if you don't apply the grease that comes with the case I suspect it might leak.

Love it
I have taken over 3,000 photos with this case and I love it. The buttons are very easy to use underwater, the settings are intuitive and the canon A95 gives great results. I like the yellow O-ring which shows up any particles on it much easier than my previous case which had a black o-ring.
Does the flash still work?
From the picture, it looks like the case covers the flash. From my experience, if diving under 15 feet, pictures get really dark, really fast. Does this case cover the flash?Can anyone comment or post images from deeper water shots?

Troublesome for Beachgoers
I ordered this for our trip to the Caribbean.I was really impressed with the safety features but it was quite a hassle just for beachgoing and snorkeling.It is recommended that you don't leave your camera in the case in the heat/sun and if exposed to salt water you must clean and reseal the waterproof seals every time it is in the water.I found that other than not having digital photographs a disposable waterproof camera was more suitable for me.I would imagine if you planned a day or hours on a underwater trip this case would be more suitable.
It works as expected
I used this case during a trip to Cozumel. I had no problems with it. the device worked fine under 140ft deep dives, and the camera had no problems in it. Its use is simple, even though a bit of memorizing of what each button does (in the camera) helps a lot.

The TCDC10 is a Lens Well Worth the Money
While, it hasn't changed my life, I have absolutely enjoy using this lens along with my Powershot S70.It's a great tool when it's used as intended.This lens is designed to extend your camera's optical zoom by 2X.This is very useful if you're shooting in Camera RAW.The S70 doesn't enable digital zoom when shooting in RAW.Please keep in mind that this lens is for distance and landscape shots.It's not an alternative to your regular optical zoom.Nor is it for indoor pictures.You should use your regular zoom in these instances.People have commented that using the flash with this lens will create a goofy blur on your photo.This is true.But, you shouldn't be using your flash anyway.When taking a picture of a mountain, the little flash bulb isn't going to help if there isn't enough natural light.So, turn the flash off and try not to wait until nightfall to start taking pictures.You'll find that this is a great lens for those of us who want a little more zoom and are just not ready to swallow the cost of a good DSLR.

marginal utility for low-light close-ups
I bought this lens to take some close-up shots of stationary items under low to moderate light environments.It is utterly useless for that application.The lens blocks the flash and you get a dark photo with a near-black 40% swatch in the lower right of the frame.It may be useful for those who plan to use it outdoors or in bright light situations, but if you're looking to take close-ups indoors, save your money.

So Big It Blocks the Flash
I have just received this lens and have only tried using in in low-light environments, but immediately noticed a fairly serious problem in that the lens is so large it actually blocks the light from the flash from reaching the subjects and causes large shadows to appear in the lower right-hand third of every photo.Otherwise, the quality of the photos was good, so I expect it will work quite well in situations where the flash is not needed.It would have been nice to know ahead of time about the effect on flash photos before I made the purchase. ... Useful 1.6X tele
Nice clear images. Some purple fringing when exposing bright, highlighted objects. Comes with 2 plastic caps (for lens and 52mm threads) and a vinyl bag. No front threads for filters. Magnification (1.6x) is moderate. Must use almost full tele to avoid vignettes (black outlines)--that's normal with all teles.

More reasons to dive
I'm really impressed, I bought the SD-110 a year ago as a quick small digital for trips. I was never planning to take it diving. The housing is really impressive, I've done 4 dives in the month I have had the waterproof case (WP-DC10) and it works great.
Exceeded expectations
Canon makes a great underwater housing for a reasonable price.I purchased this for a recent trip to Grand Cayman and Cozumel.I didn't go Scuba diving on this trip, but I did take the camera snorkeling (diving to depths ~20ft).It worked flawlessly and I got some pictures I was very happy with!One thing I did not anticipate was the use the camera got out of the water.Going from AC to the hot humid outdoors, my EOS rebel fogged up (condensation) and even after 30 minutes I couldn't take good pictures.With the SD110 in the UW housing, I just wipped the housing's glass portal with a lens tissue after it had warmed up a couple of minutes and I was able to take clear pictures.
The coolest thing EVER!!!
If you swim in the ocean, lake, or just like to be around water and want to take pictures, this is the thing to have, it's worth every penny!! The only thing you can't do when it is in the case is upload pictures to your computer, change out memory cards and charge the battery. It is truly amazing. I've had my eye on this for a very long time and with a cruise coming up I knew I had to get it. I'm a snorkeling enthusist and this is definatly the thing to have. Instead of those silly disposable cameras that limit you to only 27 pictures, and you haven't got a clue of exactly what you've taken a picture of, you can take as many as your memory card will allow you. There is also a filter for the flash you can slide into place to help dispurse the light to get that ideal picture underwater! ... Read more
