Uploads pictures easily, refuses to recharge
When my dock was brand new I would have to wiggle camera to get the dock to say it was recharging.It is now 2 years old the recharger hasn't worked for a year or so.I have just been using regular AA's.
Cannot tell if it is working or not

Great Value!
Purchased 5 of these batteries after I saw the low price. Excellent value. You can't go wrong with Kodak batteries. They perform much better than the Generic so-called "high capacity" batteries. I can now take thousands of shots at a time, without worrying about charging them.

Real battery, wrong item.
As the previous reviewer pointed out, this is NOT the KLIC-5001 1700 mAh battery as described in the Product Details, it is the lower capacity (1050 mAh) KLIC-5000.

Dissapointed
This case was not what I expected. It holds only the dock, no room for the piece that holds the paper, converters or anything else. The camera bag included is tiny & has just a drawstring. I have the 740 & it barely sqeezes in & does not close, I've since bought another case. I see no reason to buy this travel kit.

Great Film
This film seems a lot better than Kodak Max 400 even though it is basically the same thing (except for the fact that it's black and white).I wouldn't recommend this for proffesionals, but it's great for the average person.

I took my first pictures ever using this film and it came out looking all right.I suppose it wasn't crystal clear, but that was probably my fault.I also think it has problems with low light.Is that my fault?Probably.Who knows, it was nice to get it developed at Target, though.

RemoveLens Adaptor: before using the flash
I found out by trial and error that you must remove the adaptor to get a satisfactory result with the flash.While the lens adaptor doesn't seem to impede the flash it does impede the sensors (exposure meter) to set the brightness on the reflected image.

Comments on KODAK Lens Adapter for DX6490
I received the lens adapter but there was no info on how to use it. It screws in over the regular ZOOM lens but offers absolutely nothing to the use of the KODAK DX6490. I suspect there are additional filters or other accessories that might make the adapter useful and hope to find out what they may be in the near future. The lens adapter by itself, doesn't seem to add anything to the use of the camera without something else ???
Problem using with built in flash
This adapter works well in natural light settings but doesn't work when using the built in flash on the camera. There's a design flaw that causes underexposed pics when using the flash. It is a great add on for using filters and protecting the lens otherwise. ... Read more

I took a chance after reading these terrible reviews and purchased one. It has worked flawlessly for me. Please keep in mind that the battery MUST be FULLY charged immediately upon installing it. Love Camera - hate batteries
I have 3 of these battery packs and none of them hold a charge for more than 1 hr. each.I have the dock for my camera and the wall recharge unit and it still doesn't help.I really wish you would have a battery that will last longer.I've only had my camera(DX6340) for two years and I've bought 3 batteries so I could have backups and they don't do any good.Very disappointed but still love my digital camera.It is so wonderful to work with when the batteries work.I have a lot of fun with it.7 grandchildren------I guess you've got the picture.

Multiple Types of KAA2HR
I am disappointed in kodak for making multiple versions of the KAA2HR.They really need to create new part numbers or a "dash number" for various mAh ratings. Each battery is a different size and won't fit into all chargers. I first purchased the Radio Shack copies and found they wouldn't fit in my charger.Now I find Kodak makes batteries that don't fit in the Kodak charger either.

Good film, horrible price!
I couldn't believe this price... and it's "clearance"?! Shop around for 5 minutes and you'll find it easily for under $4.

A Versatily, beautiful film, with a lot of "snap"
As a long term Ilford user, I was reluctant to even try the Kodak TMax and determined not to like it. After 2 rolls it became my favorite film. The latitude is great.It was highly versatile even when over or under exposed.The contrast is like nothing I've ever seen in an amateur film. My negatives looked great from the get go, reducing the need for contrast corrections during print processing. I've never used a fi;m (as a serious student, not a professional) with better contrast and clarity. I found it has much better contrast and finer grain structure than the Ilford HP5, which was the film I used previously. It's versatility makes it a good film for point and shoot, but it's also a great film for the more advanced amateur or serious student. I LOVE it! The only negative is that it seems ot be a higher contrast film and you on't get as wide a range of grays as you would get with other fi;ms, but for an amteur, this fi;m is usually sufficient, and it more than makes up for it with ease of use. If I get more grays, but have to make the print grainy because I need a 4+ filter, then it cancels out any impact getting more grays would give me, in my experience.

New technology loser
Traditional black and white films are still around (Kodak Tri-X and Ilford HP5+) at least for the time being.Either choice has better latitude and produces better results--dependent on the processing, of course.There is a learning curve to T-Max film to make good-looking pictures.Be forewarned. ... Treated it right, but...
It is probably beating a dead horse to repeat what others have said already, but perhaps there's influence in numbers.Bought this item with the hopes of giving a loved one something that would produce prints quickly and easily, albeit expensively.Glad she turned out not to be the user, because this printer dock drives me up the wall, and I'm the patient one.Although the pictures have been just fine, after the first few trouble-free print batches, each new use has meant time spent fiddling with the system to eke out a print or two.The greatest problem is the paper feed, which now works only for an occasional sheet if the stack size is perfect and I hold my mouth right.The software is quirky, too, making unreasonable demands for full functionality (administrator priviledges).The latest cartridge, newly installed, went belly up after 11 prints.Lest you get the wrong impression, all but three of those prints required at least one paper tray adjustment and restart.And yes, I fanned the paper, took great pains not to exceed the fill line, repeatedly verified a clear, clean paper path, and completely refrained from belting the sucker.
Stay away from this printer.
The quality of the photos was decent for the first 5 photos, and then it started printing on half the page. I wasted many expensive photos trying to troubleshoot the problem.I finally sent it back to Kodak.This was the second time I had to pack it all back together and send it in.This time they tell me it is going to cost more than I originally paid in order to fix it. The first time I sent it in they fixed it. This piece of junk is only a couple months old, and I bought it from an authorized dealer. It is not my fault their product is so horrible that I had to send it in twice.I had to pay shipping twice plus the price of the original purchase for only 5 photos, and now they won't fix it. Do yourself a favor and steer far away from Kodak.
