1-0 out of 5 stars DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA!
Unless of course you have plenty of shares in Duracell, Eveready and Rayovac .Bought it new, yrs ago. Right out of the box it sucked up the batteries (included) in 3 minutes.Ok, off to buy more batts,GULP! gone in 2 minutes!Sent it back to Kodak, they said nothing wrong with it.Bought more and better rechargeables this time, now I'm doing more research into battery life than photography!!?? With the best batts you can get, maybe 20 pics... forget trying to have the LCD screen on at same time.Reviews can't be done on batteries cuz it eats the batts, wait to plug in to wall power.Right now it won't power up at all unless plugged to wall socket. Takes great pics but so what if you can't take it anywhere. Now when researching for cameras the first thing I look at is battery life. Canon seems to be good for this. 5-0 out of 5 stars I love this camera!!
I have had my cx4200 for about three years and it was finally malfunctioning on me. I bought this camera on a whim. I took it out on the fourth of july and all the pictures/video i took with this are incredible. it's 4 mp so every pic is crisp and the colors aren't saturated. the video blew me away! it plays back clear and smooth, though you can't tell what the sound is really like until you listen to it on your computer or tv. I have about ten great/cute videos of all the fireworks last night... You also get nice features with this, such as night shots, portraits, sports, close ups, landscape... this is a refreshing change to my old, SLOW, featureless camera. ... Read more

The Kodak DC290 digital camera offers some of the most sophisticated features available on a consumer digital camera. While it's no lightweight, the DC290 can offer you quite a bit if you need professional-level quality and customization. It delivers two-megapixel resolution (1,792 x 1,200) for fine detail even on large image sizes--plus it lets you take uncompressed TIFF images for no-loss photo quality. It also lets you record and play back audio clips. It uses Kodak's easy-to-use menu system, one of the most intuitive we've seen in the digital camera realm.Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars 22,000 Pics and Still Working Great
I bought my DC290 new in November 1999 for $799 from Computers4sure.com ($1099 MSRP). They had just come out. It has been used all over the US, Mexico and Japan to take 22,000 pics!
3-0 out of 5 stars I agree with Joe Pool
I bought this camera for $300 and have always been happy with it.Takes great pictures, does have some delay, and is a little heavy.I also got the E 11 Error message but I don't have the manual anymore. Now I'm on the hunt to find someone to fix this... If I find anyone, I'll let you all know.
5-0 out of 5 stars Kodak DC290
I got one of these Kodak DC290 mid-range cameras, and I am sorry to see that Kodak has suspended production of these units ! I have never had any problems with it, and all the photos I have taken come out wonderfuly. I do recommend the 256MB CF card, and you will want a professional battery pack so it doesn't run out of juice during a photo shoot. One last thing, since it is primarily a USB device, use Windows ME+ with it. 98 seemed to be very slow at data transfer rates. In short, if you can find one of these units(originally $1,000.00) buy it, you won't be dissapointed ! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars TOO EASY! GREAT QUALITY
Ok, what I wanted was an easy to use digital camera/printer bundle. I found it. The set up directions were fool proof. I set up the camera and dock....then took, saved and printed a fabulous print (start to finish) in less than 10 minutes. This from a woman who still has no idea "how to get the pictures out of the digital camera" when it comes to our old digital camera. This is a great little package for beginners who are intimidated by technology. And I MUST add that the print quality is exceptional. I never expected such crisp clear prints from home. Great little camera/printer for the price.

5-0 out of 5 stars easyshare digital CW330
I just love this camera! No more carrying around or waiting to use up my film. Instant gratification! My son sent me flowers from Hawaii and I took a picture to send him to show him just how beautiful they were. The colors were brilliant. The quality of the pictures are just like at the store. It is the Kodak brand and quality. I also love all the options of printing 1 or 4 pictures!!I can now download and send my pictures thru email! And it is also a movie camera!! It has it all!! Great Value!

5-0 out of 5 stars LOVE IT
I love this carera! It comes with all the cords you need to hook it to computer and t.v. as well as rechargeable batteries. It was easy to set up the camera and printer in a matter of seconds. The one downfall is the view screen is a little small but with the ability to hook up to t.v. that really didn't bother me all that much.I recommend this camera highly! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars BEST camera I have ever bought
I have the Kodak C700 Advantix camera now for about 4 yrs. I absolutely LOVE it and would not trade it in for anything (not even a digital camera).
5-0 out of 5 stars Versatile and dependable APS camera
I purchased this camera mainly for the camera size and panoramic feature. The option to switch from C (classic-4x6), H (group-HDTV-4x7) - default size, or P (panoramic-4x11.5) formats at anytime is great. The features are very simple, but this camera packs a lot into its small size. The "flash fill" feature works well. The flash bulb placement seems to reduce the red-eye as advertised. The self-timer has a delay of 10 seconds. Loading and unloading the film cassette couldn't be easier, especially with the mid-roll change feature. You can also view the film speed on the display at a few presses of a button. There are onscreen messages on the LCD display that tell you "FLASH NOT READY" or "MOVE BACK". The frame counter indicates how many exposures you have left.5-0 out of 5 stars Crisp and clear - without fear!
The C700 is one of the few Advantix cameras that will allow you to change film mid-roll!It is unbelievable how convenient this is when you want to take a black&white photo but the camera has colour film in it (of course you need to have the black&white roll of film on hand). My poor camera has been kicked, dropped and abused over its life of traveling with me and has never failed; not one crack, not one bad picture, nothing! All of the controls are easy to use and clearly marked.Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Worth the Price
I have owned this camera for a year now. This is a good basic camera. It has a lot of nice little options like zoom and a close-ups setting. A lot these days is made of the megapixels in a camera and although this one seems to be on the low side it takes great pictures.
2-0 out of 5 stars Easy to use, decent photos for a 2MP, but locks up too much
I've had the camera for about 2-1/2 years. In all that time, it's always worked, always taken decent pictures. The controls are easy to use.Hooking it to a Mac with OS9 or OS/X was trivial.
2-0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Not

5-0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Quality. The closest you can get to going pro for under $20.
I work at a professional photofinishing lab, and I can attest to the quality of the film inside this camera. The Kodak HQ Max Versatility camera is the highest-quality single-use camera available on the market. It produces a high-quality image in most situations.
2-0 out of 5 stars Overated and Overpriced
Unfortunately Kodak seem to spend a small fortune making their Disposable Camera's look Sleek and Trendy. However the Photos always turn out very Average despite being loaded with so called High Quality Kodak Max 400 Film.1-0 out of 5 stars Don't buy this piece of junk!
We bought two of these for our first trip to NYC. The pictures were grainy, washed out and just plain awful. We bought the more expensive cameras thinking the pictures would be even better than the cheaper one time cameras. We were so wrong. I contacted Kodak's customer service and they said it was either the photographer or the developer. Then they generously mailed me a $2 off coupon to buy another. As if I will buy another one of their cameras!!I will never use another Kodak product after the treatment I received from their customer service. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars This camera is great!
The detail and resolution is unmatched!1-0 out of 5 stars Never received item
Ordered camera, no email from Ritz Camera explaining why it was cancelled. Phone calls got me no where. Very unhappy. Never received product, just a refund with STILL no answers.2-0 out of 5 stars If you have a DCS-760, KEEP IT!
We owned the DCS-760 in our pro photo lab. The camera was great. Then, kodak came out with the DCS-14n as a replacement. It was a huge mistake. The DCS-14n's sensor is simply of lower quality, shadows sometimes come out magenta. There is also a flare issue. Grey gradients, depending on the density come out green or yellow. And there are other issues as well, but you get the point. In conclusion, the DCS-760 was a far better camera.Read more

Kodak's first ultracompact, weatherproof camera, the Advantix T700 zoom camera is constructed with multiple rubber seals around the control buttons, film and battery doors, and the lens to keep moisture out of the body and the lens. This lets you shoot outside in any weather, and the camera's rubberized surface provides a sure grip. The pop-up flash is farther from the lens to reduce red eye. 4-0 out of 5 stars indestructible camera!
This is a great little camera-- the pictures are good quality, (not great, but darn good), & it is virtually indestructible. I've had mine for three years now & it's been dropped, kicked, left in the rain & it still works like I bought it yesterday. It's perfect for people who always break their cameras or if you anticipate lots of hard use, but is not for those looking for professional quality pics.

2-0 out of 5 stars Mediocre
I really liked this camera the first year I had it.The pictures were good, it was very convenient... but a few days after the one year warranty had expired, the camera started to rewind the film after just one or two pictures and sometimes freeze up (the lens wouldn't retract). It is currently at a repair shop.Another downside is the high cost of APS film and development.

1-0 out of 5 stars i hate this camera
I took this camera with me on many a college a adventure and after shooting 3 roles that got progressively worse I'm fed up with this shoddy crap. the only pictures that come out are indoors with decent artifical light and outdoors, but not bright. It won't take pictures in the dark, they shouldn't even tempt you with the different shutter options, none work. I even sent my camera in after the lcd broke. they wouldn't replace it but they did send me back a role of test pictures that for some reason were all perfectly developed, i wish i knew what camera they used... ... 2-0 out of 5 stars overpriced!
this camera is very big and has a tiny screen. it loads things very slow and the pictures never really turn out that good. im surprised that people are still selling it when there are newer, nicer cameras for half the price.

5-0 out of 5 stars Still clicking after 2 years
I have used the Kodak DX3215 for more than 2 years without having any problems.I have the docking device and keep the camera there to recharge batteries when I am home.Away from home I use the lithium batteries.I take many snapshots, and use the Kodak software to edit, store, and print them.I am not a professional photographer, but knowledgeable about point and shoot basics.I found this camera as easy to use as my Ricoh 135mm camera, but now prefer this one because I can edit and print the photos myself.

4-0 out of 5 stars Nice quality Megapixel camera
I think this camera would rate higher if the price were more in line with the cheap 1.3 Megapixel competition. I bought this item for half the listed price, or my rating might be somewhat different. This camera takes excellent photos that will print at near-photo quality up to 5x7 inches. It's not a truly high-resolution camera, but for snapshots, photos for Web use, and even spot photos for press it will do the job nicely. The overall photo quality and color balance is excellent, although images are little grainy indoors by artificial light w/o flash. The impressive thing is that it actaully takes photos indoors by artificial light w/o flash. So far the auto focus has resulted in perfectly focused images every time, with fast exposures that help prevent blurriness from unsteady hands. The macro-focus also results in excellent, sharp images from less than a foot away. The interface is easy to grasp, and not too difficult to set up. I've been very impressed so far with the quality of the images. Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great technology!
I actually bought one of these at a yard sale for 80 bucks, since previously I owned and used a Kodak dc 240.I don't quite know why this series of cameras take such amazingly sharp pictures (my 240 (1.2 MP) takes sharper photos than my 3.2 MP sony!!!)but they just do.The 280 has a more limited zoom (2x as opposed to a 3x), but the picture quality is amazing. You cannot buy a 2MP camera that takes sharper and more realistic pictures than the 280.The new Kodak series with the docking ports are made differently and they are not as good about focusing or sharpness of image. The 280 is a great investment!! I've seen prints from the 280 looking better than some 4MP cameras!! And that's all I have to say about that :)

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Camera
my dad had baught this camera 3years ago and then recently he gave it to me. itsa good camera, the only thing is, the lense cap keeps comming off. great camera, cheap lense cap.picture quality is good, indoor and outdoor. the only other thing is that when the batteries get low it'll stop using the flash, which gets really annoying sometimes but normally isn't a problem. it can also stand SOME banging around, but not much. oh, and that little plastic covering at the bottom of the right hand corner of the camera peeled off recently but that doens't affect the camera's performance!

5-0 out of 5 stars This WORKHORSE takes STUNNING pictures!
After much research, I recommended the DC280 for my friend's company almost three years ago, and since then it has taken THOUSANDS of pics, most of them STUNNING good color and clarity. Whether taken inside or outside, of products, people or nature shots, the DC280 seemed to handle everything we threw at it - including getting DROPPED several times and getting WET and DIRTY on numerous occasions (not that I recommend it). Recently my friend bought a Canon G2 and GAVE me his "old" Kodak DC280 - and it STILL takes stunning pictures as if it was brand new! Therefore, if you can find a good used DC280 or DC290 for a decent price, I can GUARANTEE you won't be disappointed with the durability of the camera or the quality of the pictures! ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Great for Outdoor Photography, Questionable indoors.
I have owned this camera for nearly 2 years now and I can honestly say that it is a good camera for general use but with a few caveats.
5-0 out of 5 stars FANTASTIC CAMERA BUY IT NOW!
I absolutely love this camera. I take a lot of personal photos of friends, family, and sunsets ect.. and then frame them for my walls.I was paranoid to switch to a digital camera at first. I bought this camera when it first came out a year ago and if anything was to happen to it I would replace with the same one or possibly there new one.
4-0 out of 5 stars Good Camera, Not So Great Software
My husband purchased this camera for me Christmas 2003.I love to take pictures using my daughter as the subject. This was my first digital camera.I love the quality of the pictures and its ability to capture images in b/w, sepia, color... It is very easy to use. However, the software is not so fantastic. The worst part is that when upgrades to the software become available you have to download them from the computer which takes over an hour.Kodak will not send you a courtesy upgrade cd.I would even pay a few $ for this convenience. They do provide online help where they respond to your email the very next day.I did have loooots of problems with this software and I am familiar with technology.I was impressed when I found out that other lenses could be purchased (I guess it is sort of a SLR camera a little...).I turned off the lights and took a picture of my daughter with her lighted jack-o-lantern for Halloween and took a picture using the night vision and it was so clear, you would have thought that the lights were on.Overall, good camera, not so sure about the software. ... Editorial Review

For maximum print quality at a minimum price, look no further than the DX3700. With most manufacturers, camera resolution and features go hand-in-hand: basic point-and-shoot models typically come with low-resolution image sensors, while high-resolution cameras are packed with bells and whistles that add to the product's price and complexity. The DX3700 is different. It's a basic point-and-shoot with few advanced features, but its sensor is a high-resolution 3.1-megapixel model for sharp prints at 8 by 10 inches and beyond. If you're looking for an affordable camera that captures sharp, detailed digital snapshots, the DX3700 is a great choice.Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent, Simple Point & Shoot Camera!
For those who want good pictures but don't want a large learning curve or alot of buttons to have to push...The KODAK CX7300 is the Winning Ticket! Super Ease Of Use without sacrificing quality! What more could you possibly ask for out of a digital camera. And this amazing camera also takes video! You get the Kodak Name and their Imaging Science Technology that many rave about. Don't waste your money with sophisticated features or a Non-Name Brand...get this camera instead. I HIGHLY RECOMEND!

1-0 out of 5 stars Don't Buy This Camera
Maybe you can take two or three pictures before the battery is dead. The Camera Dock for this camera shows full charge but it still only takes two to three pictures.I use Kodak Rechargeable Ni-MH Battery Pack that came with camera.I replaced it, and it still doesn't work.I sent the camera back to Kodak and they "fixed it".Nothing has changed.I have tried other batteries, to no avail. The pictures aren't really that great, either. The camera and dock are dusty.

1-0 out of 5 stars BUYER BEWARE.
This product is junk. There is no useful purpose to this hunk o' crap. The pictures suck unless you are in BROAD daylight. The flash dosen't work, and even more pitiful, it makes the pictures DARKER when you have it on.The dock sucks- if it breaks (like it did for me) then you are screwed and cannot charge the camera.Additionally, the battery lasts for about 2 pictures and then it dies.If you turn on the LCD screen, you can probably only count on .5 pictures before it dies. This is the worst electronic product I have ever owned and I am sorry I ever bought a Kodak camera.I will never buy one again, nor will I buy another Kodak product, as I am severely disappointed with this one. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Best camera I've owned...
I bought this camera in mid-2004 when it was the latest thing. Nowadays, when 7.0+MP cameras are everywhere at exactly the same price I got it($305.00), I wouldn't change it for anything. It's easy to configure, and the pictures looks great as digital images and printed. I used it mostly to take pictures of band shows, where people moves often under dark places, and pics were always luminous, crisp and expresive. And not to mention outdoor pictures, I did lots of internal touring around the island and pictures couldn't look any better...!
3-0 out of 5 stars Good but some flaws.
I got this camera around two months ago and it is great, except for one flaw. There is something wrong with the flash, it is programmed to be on but there is no flash ever. It ruins the whole picture usually. I need help, or I might as well throw this camera away.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great camera
I've had this camera for a little over 8 months now and i love it!! So far, I have had no problems with it. It is an excellent bargain for price, quality and the various functions. It takes great pics both indoors and outdoors. It also takes decent videos. Battery power lasts long with the Kodak cx7530. I highly recommend it! ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars :-\
The pictures have been quite good, but.... The camera malfunctioned within the first 3 months of use and had to be sent in for repair. My other complaint is that the battery life is really short. The battery generally lasts for 3-4 rolls of film. In my opinion, that is bad. I am careful to keep the camera "off" when not in use and it has been handled with care. I think it's time I went digial anyway. :-\

4-0 out of 5 stars Lightweight, sharp pics, different modes, but construction??
I purchased this camera for my parents for an upcoming vacation they were going to take. The overall impression was that it was Kodak, came with a better than average zoom feature, provided different modes of APS picture taking and came with numerous rolls of film.5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent camera for a great price
I received this camera as a Christmas gift last year.I had done research on the internet and knew I wanted an APS camera with zoom capability. At the time, this camera was very hard to find.Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Battery Life is Very Poor
The Kodak DX3600 would be a very nice camera except that battery life is very poor. I'm lucky to get 8 pictures before the batteries go dead (I use rechargeable batteries with the Easy Share dock, and AA Alkalines).[...] Kodak is aware of the problem. Here is their response to my query about poor battery life...
1-0 out of 5 stars Trouble from the start
First - I do have to say that the camera is relatively easy to use and takes very nice pictures. However, the battery life with this camera has been problematic since the first day that we received it. We have used several different batteries, as well as different battery chargers in an effort to rule out other problems. But this camera continued to be a problem. Eventually replaced with a Sony DSC-P93 - and haven't looked back since. Glad to be rid of this camera - very frustrating when you are trying to use a product to record your family's memories, and constantly run into problems with a quirky camera...

4-0 out of 5 stars Kodak DX 3600 a trustworthy camera...
I've had a kodak DX 3600 camera now for about 2 years.I have found that the quality of pictures has been excellent and the video mode is brilliant, as few digital cameras offer video with sound being recorded too.At the start i had battery problems and problems with it powering down unexpectedly but it was sent back to Kodak and it was a faulty connection between the power section and main part of the camera, since then i have had little problems with power, like all didgital cameras they do go through batteries but just be sure to have enough charged up, and the dock it comes withhandily charges the batteries. At 2.2 mega pixels i have found it brilliant, there is brilliant image quality for what i'm using it for and it doesn't take up alot of hard drive space, with the average photo taking up about 400Kb on the best picture quality setting.I would reccemmend this camera. ... 1-0 out of 5 stars Horrible Camera
I received this camera as a present, probably becuase of its inexpensive price. From the very beginning I had problems with it.It is difficult to load, and you can not turn the flash on or off.Half the time it doesn't rewind, and other times it does. The film compartment opens by itself, ruining all of my pictures.I have wasted FOUR WHOLE rolls of used film one way or the other.Today, I am buying a new one becuase I just threw this one against my wall.2-0 out of 5 stars Lacking a button to activate / deactivate its built-in flash
Since it lacks a button to activate or deactivate its built-in flash, it flashes even you're taking pictures in bright sunny conditions.

3-0 out of 5 stars Okay as long as you know that everything is controled byhand
This is a pretty good little camera but do keep in mind you have to do almost everything by hand.It has a quick flash and is very inexpensive.Just remember that you have to wind it between pictures and to put the film in and out. ... Read more
