PC or Mac, it's great
When I bought this printer, I only had Windows (XP) computers. It installed easily and worked very well, with excellent print quality. I've since begun using an iMac G5 and hooked the Epson to it instead of my PC. I had to download the latest drivers when I upgraded to OS X 10.4 (Tiger) but that is something I'm used to in the Windows world.
R300M Injet Gives Great Quality Prints!
I purchased the R300M, installed it and spent an entire day trying to figure out why I could not get it to work. Turns out, mine had a defective memory card reader. When I called Epson support they were outstanding at taking care of the problem. I had my new printer within 2 days.
Slow, but excellent printer
Not much to fault here, unless you have dreaded driver problems of some kind. Used with a Nikon 8800 (8MP) and Pentax Optio S5I (5MP), this printer delivers stunning 4x6 or full page borderless prints. Forget the silly little picturemate. This is the printer to buy!

broke after 1 week
This camera worked for a week then broke. The place I bought it didn't accept open box returns. I emailed Epson and they said to take it to a store 300 MILES away. I suggested that was absurd. A few emails later I got instructions to call a toll long distance number for Support and that Epson would pay shipping (but I had to call, not email). After waiting on hold for a few minutes a rep. had me try a few things then suggested I take it to a store 300 MILES away. Great. So I told them about the email and the rep. put me on hold for another 5 minutes (while the toll charges racked up). Nothing but pass-the-buck. Reminds me of Tommie Boy when Chris Farley's character says to the sceptical buyer, "I can s**t in a box and put a warranty on it if it'll make you feel better."
Fine little point&shoot camera
The Epson Photo-PC L-410 is a very nice, very compact digital camera that is excellent for general family picture-taking duties. The case is plastic, but it still does have a reassuringly solid feel to it. The pictures are generally sharp, the colors are pretty good, and it is very easy to use. The menu system is easy to understand, and operation is quite quick, with one unpleasant exception: when you take a picture, the lcd diplay goes blank while the image is transferred to the memory card. This takes about 3-4 seconds, during which the camera is out of commission. Other than this unpleasant "feature", this camera is a pleasure to use. The built in picture framing is also cute, and you can customize the frames or come up with your own ones, which is pretty neat. Shortcomings include some difficulty focusing in low light environments, and the "auto" iso setting uses a rather narrow range, forcing you to switch to 200 or 400 manually when higher shutter speeds are called for. These problems are common with most consumer digicams though. Finally, the price was really right on this camera, I got it for $100 plus shipping. This is a discontinued model, but still, nothing under $200 comes even close in terms of features and capabilities.

Many features in a reasonably priced, attractive package.
I purchased this camera for around $110 - a nice price for a camera with 4.0 megapixels & 3x optical zoom, among other things. I'm a student in graphic design, and needed a digital camera for schoolwork - but couldn't afford to have to shell out $300 or more for a decent camera. So, I comparison shopped and ended up with my L-410.

Easy to use but reliability poor
As a decidedly "non-computer" person, I found this camera very easy to use.I was satisfied , but not thrilled, with the picture quality, compared to my brother's digital at less than half the price. Since I had purchased the camera through Apple along with my iMac, I would have expected it to have come with a JumpShots cable compatible with the iMac. Luckily I did not go out and purchase one, as the camera did not hold up well for the relatively limited use it got. Rather than spend who know how much on repair, I am now in the market for a (non-Epson) replacement.

A disappointment...
I have enjoyed my other Epson products, and was looking forward to using this camera.Unfortunately, it has been a headache from day one.The jumpshot reader is a weak link, in my opinion.I would rather have the camera usb plug into my iMac directly.The fillm disc was defective, and it took months of long distance calls to Lexar to finally resolve the problem.I will be looking for another brand of camera to replace this one.No more Epson.

Learn it and love it!
What a great camera!Printing 5x7s and 8X10s on an Epson stylus has been awesome!The biggest challenge here has been finding the right photo paper.The 10 second sound bytes make for a fun slide show with either live or dubbed in sound. The auto settings take excellent photos with a steady hand (like with most cameras).The flash even takes excellent photos at night,as long as the subject is close enough.Its easy to hold and focus's nice with a slight depression followed by the snap shot.I use the sports mode a lot.The indoor sports shots always turn out great,but would recommend the 2X telephoto lense for awesome shots. I store my photos on a disc and print out maybe 10 out of 36 for display or photo albums.the USB port for iMac with the Image expert program is easy to use with the 3000Z.Winter photos seem to get more red eye,which can always be dealt with.

A camera to grow with
I have about a years worth of use out of my PC 3000Z.No problems and the pictures are fantastic!This camera will do much more than the mortal photo shooter.I print a lot of 8x10 pictures and you would NOT know the differance from mine and the local photo lab.

Epson Photo PC 3000Z Digital Camera
Having moved up from the 750Z, which I dragged around the world and aged to failure in a year (OK for the way I handle cameras), the 3000Z was a big step up in terms of resolution (that's all the editors want). The camera fits nicely in the hand, and the controls are better located than the 750Z. The programming screens are handy, and the branching decisions for setting variables is easier to follow than the picture icons of the 750Z. The flashcard slot is way better designed. And now you can add 49mm lens features like a UV filter.Read more

Great Camera!
This is truly a wonderful little camera. great digital camera
This is my first digital camera.I did some research involving other 3 megapixel cameras including the highly advertised Nikon Coolpix.I found that this camera was just as good and very easy to use.I highly reccommend the 3100z!

Finally settled on the best one!
It took me forever to finally settle on a digital camera. I wanted one I wouldn't regreat buying months down the line. And I found it! The 3100Z is a fantastic camera. Simple to use (complex if you want) with great image quality. I had an 8x10 printed by photoaccess.com (I prefer letting online services print my photos), and the quality was superb. The next test is an 11x14. We'll see how that goes. My only complaint is that Epson didn't include the AC adaptor, but that's a minor issue. The battery life is good enough that I haven't even needed it. I can't speak for the software, though. On my Mac (OSX) I just plugged it into the USB port and the OS handled the rest.Read more

Twin Pack is not a good deal
The prodcut is file.I'm rating the deal.Amazon sells these individually for $18.50, and it qualifis for free shipping over $25.This twin pack costs $39.99 (more than twice) AND does not qualify for free shipping.I don't know why anyone would buy this.

Loomans review of Epson black inks
I have tried several other generic inks for my Epson printer. While they are cheaper and produce acceptable results, they do not compare with the Epson quality. Generics will use more ink and therefore empty much faster than Epson. I have also found that my printer clogs up more frequently when using generic ink. Overall I highly recommend Epson ink cartridges for those special pictures. Frank Loomans
