Beautiful prints if you can get them out
This printer produces the most beautiful prints I've ever seen. They look better than come out of a camera store. However to get each out I go through about 10-15 paper jams and printer errors FOR EVERY PICTURE, every time.Terrible.
Great but cranky
This printer is teriffic for labeling CD/DVD and has made my LightScribe obsolete because of its ability to print in color.I am able to print as many pictures as I like or am able to put on the disc and then title it in any color I desire. It is sometimes cranky about pulling the tray in to complete the printing cycle but with a slight assist it will usually draw the tray into the machine.I have had to replace my tray once because it just got old and tired on the end that lays on the rollers that pull it into the machine but replacement trays are cheap.I think I paid about five dollars for the one I purchased at the authorized dealer/repair place.I love what this machine can do and would highly recommend it to anyone who needs to print a lot of labels.
Nice Personal Photo Printer
I've had this printer for 3 years and it prints pictures beatifully.I use it at home for my personal picture printing only. The color is just as it appears on the computer screen and images are vivid.I have used replacement cartridges and have only had trouble with the black ink.The ink does run out quickly as the cartridges are small but the compatible ones have worked well except for the black.I have not had trouble with paper feeding and use several sheets at a time. One will need to experiment with the settings for different computers but the end results are georgeous.I like my home printed pictures better than ones done by print shops.I've been told that some of my printed pictures look like postcards and I agree.

beware
i bought this camera and was impressed by its lcd screen but thats about it it takes blurry pictures so much that im trying to return it and its not the camera because its the second one i have bought. dont be taken in by these glowing reviews there are much better cameras out there and you dont want one thats gonna blur the best moments of your life
The first camera I've had that made me say WOW!
I've never left a review for anything I've bought before, but I feel compelled to do so for this camera.I do a lot of ebay, and taking pictures of my stuff inside has always been a challenge because of lighting. This is the first camera I've had that takes awesome pictures inside!
Awsome LCD display to share photos with friends
When you buy a digital camera one of the great things is to be able to judge and share your result immediately. This is the best camera I have seen to do this so far. With more than 200,000 pixels on the display, and a size of 2.5" it is far above any other camera I have seen. Movie shooting is also a very nice feature.

Not satisfied with this one
I've had my RX-500 for a year now and continuous paper feed issues, film scanning issues and the ink-suck warm up have convinced me to start shopping for another. (I'm a patient person.)
don't buy it
I was in LOVE with this unit until the day it started eating paper [accordion style] after about two dozen printouts. Luckily, I had purchased a warranty that provided a one time replacement, but the replacement that was sent was refurbished, was missing pieces and ultimately had trouble sensing the paper in the paper tray. Never had a chance to test out its scanning capabilities, but now I have 2 dysfunctional printers in my office. Oh, and as a side note, my best friend bought the very same printer and hers doesn't work either. Do yourself a favor [I know it looks sleek], but don't buy it.
Don't bother unless you're Rich!!!
I had an Epson in another country and had nothing but trouble with it, even after 'cleaning the heads' many times(and the ink disappearing quickly after this 'cleaning').

Good printer, but for only a few months.....
I have had this printer for almost two years and started noticing banding when printing. I knew ink was low so I paid $80 for new ink and installed it. Now the printer won't print anything but blank pages. After a hassle with customer service (which by the way, spoke broked English; can't stand that), I gave up and returned the ink to Target and bought a new HP printer. That is when I noticed the other reviews had similar problems printing blank pages. And who wants to spend $80 on ink? You can buy new printers for that much. Plus this printer is huge and bulky. Not a good printer.
This printer sucks!
My printer was great for 14 months, then I ran out of black ink, replaced it and got nothing but blank pages. I called Epson and they sent me to a website that will give me about $20 off a new Epson printer. You've got to be kidding! After my experience, and reading about the other disgruntled folks on this site I'll not be buying an Epson printer again. This one should have been recalled for defects. Shame on Epson for nottaking care of it's customers. This is my second Epson printer and it will be my last.
Epson's Sad Decline
Like many others here I have experienced the clogging problem and complete failure of my CX5400 (and CX5200 before it) which seems to be almost universal with Epson printers these days. A beautifully designed machine, which I liked very much when it worked, is now headed for the junk pile.

Epsons are great, but disposable after 14 months
I am about to toss my CX6400 because all it prints now is a hint of yellow and magenta. As others have mentioned, I've tried multiple head cleanings until the ink ran out, dealt with Epson tech support, been promised a "customer loyalty" price if I buy a new Epson model to replace it, but I think I'm done with Epson.
Depreciates Fast
We bought the Epson CX6400 for its all-in-one features. It has slots for Camera Memory Cards, a Scanner/Copier and prints in Color/B&W.The printer worked fine for awhile. It would shake the desk when in motion and the initial spooling would take close to 30 seconds, but additional pages would print promptly one after the other.
Don't waste your money
I bought this printer about a year ago and it seemed to work okay at first, but then it started having problems. Some of the time when I tried to make a copy, it would just print blank pages. Then I would print a test page and it would print fine.
