Horrible camera. Barely had it 2 months before it went on the fritz.Drained the batteries within a few pictures.So not worth more then the cost of a disposable!! Sorry Kodak...but I'll stick with the good ol' reliable Sony.

I have had this camera for about a year and a half.I got so fed up with it that I just bought a new one.I admit, this camera takes decent pictures in good lighting when the zoom isn't used.However, this camera takes horrible pictures if the zoom is used.I would only recomomend this camera to someone who just wants to take pictures of of thier surroundings or to a younger person who is getting their first digital camera. ... Good Camera--Software Nightmares
I like this camera.Some settings take it beyond the standard point and shoot experience. For a first-timer, it has been great. The camera rates 4 stars.

A lot of bang for the buck
I have found the Z650 and the printer dock station very easy to use. While the paper/cartridges are a little pricey using the camera and docking station without having to tie up a computer makes printing photos a breeze. I also find that Kodaks' online service to be superb. You can have prints mailed to your house for just a few pennies per print. The camera itself has a very easy to learn operating system and the printer dock is basically just a one button operation. Emailing pictures to friends and family is very easy and the setup directions are easy to follow. The quality of the photos are excellent. I purchased this camera after seeing a friends and I have not been disappointed. The bottom line is that this system is very efficient, takes great pictures and is easy to use. Now if Kodak can bring down the price of the print paper and cartridges...it would get 5 stars.

great deal, great camera, great printer
This Kodak z650 is a great camera.It takes clear, sharp photos. It is head and shoulders above the Nikon I had been using. The zoom is fabulous.The menu and the extra features are easy to figure out.The happy bonus is that the printer in this bundle is extraordinary.I took it on vacation with me and made a travel journal with photos day by day.I am so happy with this purchase, even happier that I did my research and know it was at a bargain price to boot. Yippee!

Great camera, low price
This camera is fantastic! When I compare printed photos from this camera with other 5MP cameras, I find the quality superior. The battery lasted for a week in the Bahamas with no recharge and several hundred pictures taken (just follow the directions and use the proper batteries!!) The printer dock is easy to use and prints very nice quality pictures fairly quickly. The cost is about $0.30 per print, but a great deal if your looking for high quality prints immediately! I think this camera is great!!

Disappointment
This camera is fine for simple outdoor photography, but anything overcast, in motion or requiring any variation of focus will yield a disappointing outcome. This camera is all but useless indoors--I certainly regret having taken it with me to Europe this summer, it was not worth its weight in luggage.

Good outdoor camera
I love my camera, but have a few problems with it.
Weak Flash
The weak flash makes this camera good for outdoor use only. Add the lens extender to protect the great lens and the flash output goes down even more since the light sensor is now behind the lens extender. Very poor design. My camera has been repaired by Kodak twice in 7 months and still can't put out enough light to take pictures indoors. They claim it meets their product specs. My pictures say it doesn't.

My little money maker..
I love this camera.It is the second digital camera I have owned by Kodak and like the first one, never had one regret.I bought this camera for several reasons:
Only lasted 14 months
This was my first digital camera. It took great pictures. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!! My mother and a friend each bought the same camera from my recommendation.
Best Camera for the price
We bought this camera before our vacation to Alaska.I researched several before purchasing and decided on this one based on the reviews and the fact that it had the 10x zoom.I cannot tell you how happy we are with this camera.. it is amazing.We took almost 500 pictures in Alaska and our family and friends think the pictures look like postcards.Other relatives on our trip had other models of digital cameras and their pictures did not compare to the quality of the ones we took.

The Other Camera
I had a Kodak CX7430 but it was stolen. I loved that camera. I found this replacement and was very pleased with the result. This camera is even better than the old I had. Keep up the good work Kodak. I have recommended this camera to all my family and friends.

Lasted only one week
I bought this Kodak camera at a great sale price (it was bundled with the printer dock too) and got rid of my old, large, slower (but dependable) HP digital camera that I had owned for years.The Kodak had all of the features I was looking for in a new camera. I almost felt it was too simple to use until I discovered you could turn off all of the display icons & messages. For a week and a day I used it to take a few pictures inside and out plus a short video. Then after just taking a picture the lens wouldn't go back in when I turned the camera off. Finally it did slowly go back in but when I turned it back on, I received an lens error message 14 and the lens didn't come back out.I tried everything in the manual, charged the batteries and even put in new Kodak camera batteries plus called customer support (who wasn't totally helpful) but the camera was dead.I was very disappointed that this camera only lasted a little over a week so I returned it for a refund. I'm not sure if I want to try another Kodak easyshare camera since they all seem to be basically the same model type. Perhaps I should go back to a HP camera again.

For the most part this is a fine digital camera.I purchased one via amazon for my wife 6 months ago, and my daughter asked for one for her birthday.We are very happy with this and it does everything we would like it to.

Value for money and easy to use
Got is around a week back. It is quite handy and easy to use point and shoot camera for starters. Most impressive thing one notices is the big bright LCD screen. Menu is easy to use and one can adjust various picture modes and also ISO settings. Pictures are quite compressed and 6MP images average between 0.9MB to 1.1MB only. Macro mode is better than one would expect from camera in this range. Other advantages are that it uses AA batteries and SD card (with 32MB internal memory). Pictures are bit grainy (noisy) compared to my canon A620 in low light. But this one costed around 1/2 the money I spent on A620. so I don't expect much from this camera. Overall happy so far. Look for sample images which I am going to load.

6.1 megapixels for less than $ 150
I purchased this camera this summer for $150. For some reason, this camera dropped in price during the summer. I heard that it was being discontinued. This is my 2nd Kodak digital camera. My first one took great pics, so I did not hesitate to buy the 643 model. I took this camera to Ft. Walton, Florida and it took pictures with fantastic color. I tried the long exposure taking pics at the pool during the evening. Those turned out very nice also. I don't use the video much. Any vibration in your hands(s) will show up in the video. My camcorder has Steady Shot to eliminate this. I use a 1 GB memory card which will hold 4,000 pics at 1024x768 resolution. The menu system is easy to navigate through. I have not tried all of the camera functions yet. I highly recommend this camera for less than $150.

An okay camera, would not suggest this one.
I was just your average person looking for a point and shoot camera that took clear pictures. This camera could not be easier to use.However, I took some pictures with it the night I bought it and was not impressed with the indoor shots, they were grainy looking.The next morning I took more pictures.When I went to review them on the camera a few came up, but there was also an "unrecognized file format" message.I thought maybe I did something wrong so I deleted it out and took more pictures.I reviewed the pictures I took (all of them were there) and I even cropped one of them and saved it.I turned the camera off for a minute and then back on again to take more pictures.Again, some pictures went missing and the "unrecognized file format" message appeared.The camera was very lightweight and compact, and it took nice outdoor pictures.The quality of the camera felt a little cheap.Due to getting an error message not even one day after purchase it has been returned to the store.I would not recommend this to anyone. ... It has grown on me
I initially bought this camera because of some basic criteria:3x optical zoom with an all glass lens, standard storage media (SD card), and non-proprietary power source (can take rechargeables or standard alkaline AA batteries).
Terrible Quality, Terrible Company
I had this camera for less than 3 months when it would not turn on any more.I contacted Kodak and sent it in for repair under warrantee.After several weeks, Kodak contacted me a stated that the camera was not repairable and that the damage was not covered under warrantee.The stated that the problem was due to liquid damage and that if I wanted the damaged camera back I was going to have to pay them to return it.
Awesome Camera
I have had this camera for laast one week and I must say that this is a really good camera. All the pictures are very well exposed and looks very good. Even indoor pictures are really nice. The camera has many different useful scene setting. For better indoor, I used the tungesten setting to balance the orange color of the light bulb. Good...at first.
I bought this camera in November of '05 for the approaching holiday season.In the beginning I LOVED it.It was small, took good pictures and handled well.As time went on it developed some minor issues.At times when I would turn it off, the lens would not retract completely. I just brushed it off as being typical electronic malfunction.This was until it completely stopped working this summer.At first the lens would not retract at all and then the camera would power on and off right away.I sent it in, as it was under warranty, thankfully the repair was covered and I received it back with the minor glitch of the lens still not retracting properly.I chalked up to be wear and tear and continued to use because the camera work fine otherwise.(Note: Kodak charges you $35 when you send in a camera for return shipping if the camera repair is not eligible as a warranty repair.You can also choose to have them repair it, but it will cost $35 shipping and handling plus the cost of the repair.)
Great Camera
This camera is so easy to use no more pushing 5 buttons until you get the right one this does it all I did not read the manual and used it right out of the box.So much easier than my Nikon that takes hours to learn.

The camera takes great pictures but I cannot see the screen to take a picture when I am outdoors.There is too much reflection.

Great
My son just got the Kodak Easy share c663 yesterday and he loves it. The battery has a long amount of life and it focuses in on what you want to take a picture of. The only thing he does not like about the camera is the fact that when you review the pictures after taking one it is pretty fuzzy. But when you review them regularly, after 5 seconds the picture turns into excellent quality. Also when you look at them on the computer it is great to and to get the pictures on the computer is a breeze. Overall my son is pretty happy with the camera he bought.

Good enough for my purpose..
This is a great little camera.I took it on a week long vacation, snapped over 200 pictures and several movie clips and never once charged the batteries.I like the movie mode, it has a great sound - I find myself using it more and more.I've even recorded at an indoor concert and the sound is incredible.The only con of the movie mode is that you cannot zoom while it's recording.A little annoying, but - I've learned to zoom in before I hit the record button.
Great pocket cam
I'm very happy with my C663. It does everything I hoped it would do. The size is great for my hands -- bigger than the tiny-tiny cameras, which I have trouble holding. (I'm a guy, but my hands aren't huge. I marvel that people manage those pintsized cams.) The bulge on the right really helps me grip the device.

A Great Buy!
I was given this camera for christmas a few years back and I have to say I could not be happier! I love it's compact size that can fit in any pocket or tiny purse and it takes great photos. It's really easy to use, just this weekend I let my 4 year old cousin try it and even he could take great pictures.The only problem I see is that close-up pictures of people tend to sometimes get overexposed by the flash but other than that it's great!

Great Little Camera
I've used the LS753 for about two years, and have been very happy with its performance.The absolute best aspect of the camera is its size: it fits very well into a pocket, meaning you can have it immediately on hand whenever the situation is right for taking a photo.It also fits well into the hand.While there are a number of adjustments and mode settings, the average user will quickly realize that the default settings are best for the majority of your photos.

A pretty, decent camera
I received my P850 as a Christmas gift from my husband in 2005, who took my Canon Ixus 40 (4 MP) camera with him to Iraq (and I was reluctant to give it up...that is a GREAT little point and shoot camera!!!)I started out in the digital world with a Nikon 950 (2 MP) and I used that one for years and years...it finally got sand in the swivel mechanisism and has never been the same since:( I decided that this is the camera I wanted because I didn't know if I would use an SLR because I was still an ameteur.I research many cameras, if not daily, close to it.I still can't seem to find a better camera.The thing I liked about this camera was that it had plenty of mode scenes to choose from because I was still pretty intimdated by the Priorty, Aperature and shutter sequences.Well, I'm not any more...esp since I've had this camera.I can adjust just about anything to suit the lighting and I rarely, if ever use the flash anymore! The menu features are easily assesible and intuitive to use as well ( A good feature to have!) As a matter of fact, I've looked into a full-blown SLR cameras and can't seem to find one that really compares to this!The fact that this camera can be upgraded with an external flash and wide-angle and telescopic lenses makes this a nice fit.
Love this camera!
I love this digital camera!The image stabilizer, picture clarity, ease of use, zoom (which is why I chose this camera for the zoom capability), and the videos. The software is so easy to use, and its' enhance mode on the editing takes all the work out of my hands.The auto correct of the red eye on the software is excellent. I would highly recommend this camera.Before going to Disney World with my kids, I bought an extra battery, but never even needed it.I took a lot of pictures and a lot of video clips!

Worlds best camera!
If I had to be stuck with one camera, this one would be it. I've owned it for a year and it's fantastic! What do you want for $150? This is a steal. It takes better pix than my friend's and family's cameras that are 2-3x more expensive.
Not what your looking for?
this camera may look pretty but i dont like it one bit. I got this camera last summer before i went on a trip to ohio. At first i thought it was great but now ive totally changed my mind. This camera has bad image quality and is not reliable. It also has an extremely bad zoom and its horribly slow. Its already breaking too. Ive had this camera less than a year and im ready to get a new one. So please- if you are looking to purchase a good quality camera- dont but this one.

I bought this camera from amazon.com two years ago and it's been nothing but reliable.It's simple to use and packed with features - other favorable reviews are dead on - but my story is about its sturdiness.Today, I accidentally dropped it from a balcony 12 feet high onto concrete paving, and thought it was gone for sure.One of the prong hinges for the battery door broke, the door itself separated from the camera, and the casing came open on one side.I was able to pop the casing closed with a screwdriver, and reattach the battery door (half a hinge seems to be sufficient).The mechanisms and electronics still work *perfectly*.Optical zoom, automatic lens cover, flash, everything.It's incredible. ... Best camera I've owned...
I bought this camera in mid-2004 when it was the latest thing. Nowadays, when 7.0+MP cameras are everywhere at exactly the same price I got it($305.00), I wouldn't change it for anything. It's easy to configure, and the pictures looks great as digital images and printed. I used it mostly to take pictures of band shows, where people moves often under dark places, and pics were always luminous, crisp and expresive. And not to mention outdoor pictures, I did lots of internal touring around the island and pictures couldn't look any better...!
Good but some flaws.
I got this camera around two months ago and it is great, except for one flaw. There is something wrong with the flash, it is programmed to be on but there is no flash ever. It ruins the whole picture usually. I need help, or I might as well throw this camera away.

Good...at first.
I bought this camera in November of '05 for the approaching holiday season.In the beginning I LOVED it.It was small, took good pictures and handled well.As time went on it developed some minor issues.At times when I would turn it off, the lens would not retract completely. I just brushed it off as being typical electronic malfunction.This was until it completely stopped working this summer.At first the lens would not retract at all and then the camera would power on and off right away.I sent it in, as it was under warranty, thankfully the repair was covered and I received it back with the minor glitch of the lens still not retracting properly.I chalked up to be wear and tear and continued to use because the camera work fine otherwise.(Note: Kodak charges you $35 when you send in a camera for return shipping if the camera repair is not eligible as a warranty repair.You can also choose to have them repair it, but it will cost $35 shipping and handling plus the cost of the repair.)
Great Camera
This camera is so easy to use no more pushing 5 buttons until you get the right one this does it all I did not read the manual and used it right out of the box.So much easier than my Nikon that takes hours to learn.
Miss view finder
The camera takes great pictures but I cannot see the screen to take a picture when I am outdoors.There is too much reflection.

Great outdoor perfect-lighting pictures, really poor lowlight pics.
We have had this camera for over a year now. We have had previous good experiences with kodak cameras, so when we bought this one we were confident that it would take great pics. What a disappointment when we realized that it takes horrible lowlight pictures (I mean, really bad!). Outside in perfect daylight, the pictures are clear and really great. Inside or outside in lower light settings, the pictures do NOT turn out at all. I would not buy this camera knowing what I know now. Too bad - Kodak had our loyalty until this experience! We are planning a trip across the US this summer and are going with a different brand hoping for better overall picture quality as we treasure our family pictures and want good quality for them. Our advise is to not buy this - it is not worth the price.

great camera for a point and shoot
This camera is a very good camera for what it is.I have taken some great shots that have made excellent 8 x 10'S.The fact that it has the capability to use an external flash really helped with night time action shots.I shoot football and racing and it has worked for both.The only complaint with the racing photography was there is some shutter delay but if you pan with the subject it does a decent job.If you learn to use the manual modes on the camera you can adapted to most photography situations.I pushed this camera to its limits for over 7,000 shots and videos combine.The video mode is nice and does a decent job.As far as durability it is great I have droped it,subjected it to intense amounts of dust and dirt, and temperature changes and it has held up great.Although the battery does tend to drian faster in colder temperatures.Overall for a point and shoot it is very adaptable and can shoot in various conditions.

Fantastic Camera!
I have had mine for 2 years, and never a problem. I've taken it out with me camping and hiking dozens of times, and while I take great care never to drop it it has bounced around in backpacks and is quite scuffed from use.

I bought this camera for myself during Christmas 2004.
I love it!
This is a great camera. The quality is good and the camera is very durable. I've accidently dropped the camera several times, and it still works. However, I would suggest getting a memory card if you want to take more than 24 pictures at a time.

You get what you pay for!!
I bougt this camera and a Olymus camera, both in the same price range, the Kodak camera was by far deficeint in quality of image and workmanship. Avoid this at all cost the Olympus was well made, durable, higher quality picture and ease of use. ... Read more

Horrible camera and horrible support center
The camera broke befre I even used it,kodak wont fixt it unless I give them $400 that is more than I got the camera for,they are crazy

Nice Camera
I bought this camera in 4 months back. It seems to be working well except that the lighting is not very good. I've had my friends say that I should turn on the flash which in fact I did. The real bad thing about this camera is the dial. Mine broke in 3 months. I have to ship it back to get it fixed.
GREAT CAMERA!!
I bought the Kodak DX7440 about 2 months ago.Along with that I ordered the Camera Dock, and a couple of extra batteries (which hasn't gotten used yet, because the one I have in there has never died on me. I just keep it on the camera dock while not in use and it keeps it full), and a 512mb sd card (which allows me to take close to 400 pictures at a time before having to upload them to my computer.) plus the internal memory allows you to take 21-24 pictures.I have a 2 1/2 year old, and he's constantly running around outside, and my old camera usually would blur almost every picture, however the dx 7440... it takes crystal clear pictures, absolutely nothing is blurry if he's running around and I snap a picture, it captures him full focus, his blue eyes (not red), if his hair is standing up on the top of his head you see that, (not like previous pictures which makes him look like a comet with a tail) and one of the best things about this camera is that's it's always ready to take a picture, no processing everytime you click a picture.(my previous camera after every 1 or 2 pictures it would process for what seemed like 20 seconds... and ofcourse it would happen everytime my son would be ready to take a good picture.

DO NOT BUY
I bought this camera from Sears a year and half ago.I purchased the extended warranty.The battery latch broke and they claim it is from customer abuse.Althought it has no scratches or marks on it, and the latch seems to be the BIG problem with these cameras, I am out the $200 for the camera.DO not recommend KODAK camera for this reason.THE BATTERY LATCH BREAKS and KODAK WILL NOT REPLACE.

Great Camera no problems
If you are looking for an easy camera to use this is it.It has a lot of options as well.We have had many pictures blown up into posters with fabulous results.We simply uploaded them to some internet sights having sales, and are unbelievably impressed.Thankfully, after almost two years of ownership we have not had one single problem with this camera.I would definitely buy this again .Even though we paid quite a bit more money for it than what it is now selling for.
