Mini Memory Card
I bought it to use in a Sony H-2 Digital camera.It works great, but you do need the adapter to put the memory card in the slot of your computer to edit/send/transfer pictures.That is not a problem with the card, as it is the size that the camera calls for.

I'm using this in a Sony Erricson cell phone (710a), and it works like a champ, no problems. I didn't even have to format this one!

A gift
My sister inlaw purchased her first digital camera and the memory card which came with the camera was very small so she became very disappointed with the camera. She had absolutely no knowledge at all on the operation of the camera with the exception of just push the button. Since she had no knowledge of the camera she was unable to even set the camera up so I purchased this larger memory stick for her and proceeded to give her some instructions. Great! Best one out there!
I purchased my Memory Stick Pro Duo 256 for my Sony Clie SJ-25. It works great! It is super fast and has more than enough space. Just don't mistake it for a stick of gum! The best part was that it was the same price as older model Memory Sticks such as memory stick select, and Memory Stick Pro! For devices that do not take Memory Stick Duo, but take Memory Stick, a Memory Stick Duo adapter is included in the package. Works great, BUT......
A word of caution, It will not work on any computer with DUAL CORE PROCESSOR.

Works fine and just as expected
The floppy disk adapter perfectly suits people like myself who still have old computers without USB.One first installs the software from the included CD and then formats the memory stick.Be warned that you had better print or save any images you already might have on the memory stick before formatting as all data is lost in formatting. Good Idea, not everything works
My company purchased this flopy disc interface so that we could let any of the graphic artists pop the card into the machines without moving the USB reader we have around.. unfortunatly the card won't work on a dual processor system, so none of our graphic artists can use it.I think for the price we paid for it, it should be able to work on any system! ... How many pictures will it store?
How many pictures will it store?It is the most commonly asked question from digital camera enthusiast but usually the question that is the most difficult to get a straight answer about.Well, considering I worked in the memory industry for over 7 years I can help clarify this perplexing question and do so unbiased as I have since changed industries.
Good product but high price
I got this 128 MB Memory Stick because the one that came with my Sony Cybershot it's only 16Mb (only 9 pics) and this makes me believe that they intentionally give you a small chip so you buy another of their pruducts. My suggestion is to purchase a Lexar or another brand, because works as well and the price is lot cheaper, Any way I got this one and works perfectly, It's only the price why I rated only with 4 stars

only works intermittently on my mac
I have the Sony Memory Stick PC Card Adapter (MSAC-PC3) and it's very unreliable on my mac (powerbook, osx 10.3.8).Most of the time it just doers not work at all. When i insert the memory stick the little red light flickers a bit but then nothing.If I shut my mac down completely, leave it off for a few minutes, then boot it again then the crd reader will sometimes work.All in all not a very satisfactory product for mac users.

Won't work on MemoryStick Pro
It works great with the older MemoryStick (128Mb or smaller) and no driver is required. Just put the MemoryStick in and it works like a floppy drive.
Don't buy the 3rd party reader
It worked only some of the time, usually my PC wouldn't recognize the hardware.I sent it back, seller was very accomodating.Now I've ordered a genuine Sony reader. ... Read more

Good carry around flash and video light combo
Yes, this flash light does drain your battery. That's why you need to use a high capacity battery with this flash.Not sure why the previous reviewer said that this flash messed up his camera battery.I did not experience this problem.
Don't walk blindly into this light
I picked up this light a few months back for my Sony VX2000 (which captures both digital and still images).While the range of the light was moderate for video, it worked reasonably well for nearby photos in the dark.It seemed to drain my battery rather quickly.That was to be expected...but it was even faster than I thought before the battery light would start blinking.Read more

Still works after going through the wash!
I've had mine for about a year. No real comments on that, other than that they should ship it with a string to attach the detachable cap to the main unit. I'm surprised I haven't lost the cap yet.
Very tough little device
Two weeks after getting my Sony vault, I accidently put the thing through an entire clothes wash cycle (no bleach). Finding it soggy at the bottom of the drum, I figured it was totally trashed.I stuck it into my laptop's usb and WOW it still worked. A few days later the glue gave out, but I put a little epoxy on it and it is fine.I hot swap it between Windows XP, 98Se and W2K without any problems. No complaints, I would buy another.

Great Little Printing Machine
I bought the Sony Digital Photo Printer (DPP-SV77) about a year ago with the intention of using it for all my worth the money if you don't want to mess with a PC
We bought the DPP-SV77 because we recently had twins and wanted to make photos available immediately for friends and family. Our printer for our PC just wasn't up to the job. This printer has some legitimate problems but does a credible job if you don't mind some oversaturation on your color prints. The machine tends to put way too much red in photographs especially caucasian skin tones. Where the machine really shines is the black and white mode. Beautiful pictures! Great contrast, and an accurate grey scale. I also really like the ability to make wallet size prints. The manual is pretty exhaustive, to be honest I never read it. We use a sony digital camera with memory stick so compatibility is smooth and effortless. The controls are very intuitive and I found that while the flip up monitor wasn't terribly bright and often misleading (some menus are difficult to read, the colors on the monitor don't reflect your end result) it was still nice not needing to be hooked up to a PC. Overall, it was worth the money for us, it does what we wanted it to do. However, because of the color "problem" and the fact that there is a finite size you can make a print (4 X 6) if I take some really good color pictures that I want to blow up or frame I'll be taking my business to a professional printer.

Glorious prints, implementation a bit clunky
I bought the DPP-SV77 because I wanted a way to take my digicam media (CompactFlash) directly from the camera and make prints without using a PC. While the DPP can be connected to a computer, the built-in LCD makes this really unnecessary.Read more

Not fully compatible
I purchased this unit to facilitate the exchange of jpeg's between my Sony Digital Camara and my desktop PC. While you can read and write data to the Memory Stick Reader with the PC, when you attempt to download files created on a Sony camara it will give an error of "The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable." The same files are accessible in my camara or Sony Notebook: they cannot be accessed with the SmartDisk Reader. My attempts with SmartDisk Technical Support were unsuccessful. Not fully compatible

I've been an avid amateur photographer for over 20 years, and I can tell you the prints from this printer are top notch and lab quality.
Love this printer!!!
The print quality is awesome, I am using a Sony Cybershot 5 megapixel camera. I took it out of the box and loaded the paper, cartridge and memory stick and started printing right away! It has so many features. You can edit your pics right on your television then print. It has many editing features as well! My only concern is that it does't come with a USB cable, but that can always be purchased at a later time. Overall, this is an excellent photo printer.

Mac Users Avoid This Product!!!!
I used this printer for quite some time with my Pismo running OS 9.2. When I purchased a Powerbook G4 running OS X, this printer was obsolete, i.e. no drivers available. Sony was absolutely not interested in making a driver for this printer and could not care less about the customer STUCK with this pathetic piece of equipment.
Some hints for getting the best output
This printer produces impressive output, although the colors have a little too much magenta. The resolution is specified as 403 dpi but to get a 1:1 pixel mapping from (say) photoshop you need to set the image resolution to 403.66 dpi.
A great printer but for lack of a driver
I was delighted when my then-new Sony Digital Photo Printer DPP-SV77 worked on my Mac as advertised: bright, true colours printing in a reasonable amount of time...but when I upgraded to Mac OS X from OS 9.2.2, can you imagine how I felt when I discovered that Sony DOES NOT provide a printer driver for any version of OS X? I am unable to coax it to print in Classic (OS X's emulator for OS 9.x), and so the printer now lies in state on my desktop.Read more
