quite pleased
I just recently took advantage of my warranty and sent in my camera to be fixed--the pictures out of nowhere started getting distorted--and got it back in about a week.Hopefully the random malfunction was a rare occurrence because I love this camera.I've been using it since the summer and had no problems up until that point.It is compact, takes good photos, and easy to use.There are many nifty settings, some which are for dark settings and seems almost impossible to hold the camera still enough sometimes.
A Lot of Cam for the Price!
I recently purchased the Concord 4363Z, which appears to be the 4 mp version of the 5345Z. I bought it on sale for $140.00 at a major discount store. This is my first digital cam and I am extremely pleased with the features, construction quality, and the end results. The cam uses conviently available 2 AA batteries and will deliver 40-50 exposures per charge. The body is all metal and feels very solid, expecially the door that covers the battery/card slot. In reading other reviews on digital cams, this seems to often be a weak feature. I am also impressed with the rapid response to shutter release, about 1-2 seconds once the flash is charged(bout 3-4 sec). This can be a major problem with many digitals. The cam is easily configured for point and shoot and delivers great pictures under most conditions in this mode. For the more technically attuned, the cam allows for a number of manual adjustments. I have only tested the video with sound feature, but it seems to work just fine.

Not at all impressive
The instructions were not printed right the first time, so there was an add in for the correct way to install the software, which ended up not being compatible with windows XP.I haven't been able to use my camera yet.The directions are difficult. This is not a user friendly camera.

What a downer
... I took a few test shots at high resolution, installed the software and hooked it up to a Win XP Home edition machine. Nice clear shots without fiddling with any of the options. How can you beat such high resolution, a flash and upgradeable memory for so little money? A little frustrating, but good pictures
Installing this camera onto Windows XP has been somewhat of a nightmare, I was never able to use the "driver" from the Concord website so I installed it with the original driver and for some reason now it works.My computer doesn't recognize the camera so I can't upload the pictures into any of my programs, I have to copy them and paste them into "My Pictures". But the minute I plug the camera into the computer, the pictures are instantly there.The picture quality is great, and the batteries are still fine (after 1 day.)However, I ran out of memory after 6 pictures.I guess I'll have to buy a CompactFlash card now. ... Nice pocket Camera
I got this camera as a gift about 2 years ago now to just take everyday photos, and to have with me for short road trips for those "little moments".This camera does a good job for someone needing it for these requirements.
GREAT little camera for the money...
I got this camera for $60 at Target for my almost 8 y/o son for Christmas...it is a great little camera for the money!You can use the LCD screen for taking and viewing pictures (just like mom's camera) and the picture quality is pretty good, too.We haven't used the video function yet, but my son thinks that is going to be really cool, too... it also has macro and distance functions...It holds 14 (highest quality) pictures w/o any kind of card, but we bought him a 128 MB SD Card and now it holds 247 (highest quality) pictures.We tried a similar camera by Vivitar and returned it for this one...the only drawback I can see is it takes a little photo lithium battery, not something I can just recharge...

tiny, cheap and better than most!
This is a great starter digital. It's user friendly and unlike many digital cameras with LCDs, this one also has a viewfinder, so you can take pictures in bright sunlight! If a digital camera doesn't have an optical viewfinder, the LCD screen is worthless outside when the sun is bright -- you can't see what you're aiming at.Read more
