5-0 out of 5 stars Leader in Portable TV's
Casio has been making these things, since 1986 !!!. 20 years later they still live up to their standard, though manufacturing has shifted to China, from Japan. I miss those "Made in Japan" Casio products, but isnt everything "Made in China" these days ? All said and done, you cant expect a HD quality 5.1 surround sound from this $120 buck portable TV. So enjoy the mobility(thats the whole point) and coming from Casio, its the best !

2-0 out of 5 stars Believe what you read!
Well, I didn't believe the folks that reviewed this EV-4500 Casio 4" tv so I bought one.. Big mistake!! You get a little over one hour of battery life, you don't get an A/c adapter. That's and extra $25.A car adapter is $30 and you have to order both from Casio and yes, IT'S the only one that fits. The stand is just that.. a stand.the tv just sits on it and can fall off with the slightest touch. Reception is ok at best and if you use a headset you only get mono. (That's only sound out of one side) And for the $$$ you should get all the accessories included with the TV. No carrying case either..I used my Circuit City bag...and took the %@#* thing back!!live and learn..

4-0 out of 5 stars myreview
I was quite pleased with the TV.I has been many years since I had my last portable TV which was black and white and had a 2" screen. The technology is much improved.Cascio is a leader in portable TV technology and I can see why.The only downfall is the need to buy an AC adaptor. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Adapter WAS included with mine, but...
Ok, sure it isn't the best keyboard out there, and it SOOO needs a pedal...but I would rather have this one than none at all. It was the only one I could afford, but I would absolutely upgrade if I could.I also got mine @ Target with the stand, paid about $100 for it. I actually didn't realize how bad the sound quality was until I played my boyfriend's $4000 Roland keyboard...dare I say it sounded BETTER than a real piano? If you can buy better, do. If you can't, it does the job.

1-0 out of 5 stars Horrible piano sound
Our school had previously purchased Casio keyboards. I had to replace a few keyboards and thought that this slightly less expensive Casio keyboard would have the same piano sound, even though it had less bells and whistles. It's piano setting doesn't even come close to satisfactory.Parents, if you are looking for a beginning keyboard, please spend a little more money and provide a better piano sound for your child.
3-0 out of 5 stars You get what you pay for...
Generally, I agree with the other reviewers. This is certainly not the best keyboard in the world, (...)I bought a CTK-496 from Target, for the same price, in October 2005. At that time, a stand and power adapter were included in the box. That, of course, may have been a limited-time promotion, or perhaps Casio is just cutting costs. Target.com now sells the CTK-496 exactly as Amazon does: no stand and apparently no adapter. Anyone interested in buying a CTK-496 should check a Target store, if there is one in their area. They might still have a keyboard/stand/adapter in stock, for the same price. You might also be able to find a used one on e-bay or some other site.

Casio calls their Exilim EX-S2 a wearable card camera, and it lives up--or should we say down--to that name. About the size and heft of a deck of cards (at .44 inches, it's even a bit thinner), the EX-S2 can be worn around the neck and barely be noticed. Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Poor customer service
Casio has a history of poor service after the sale. This camera will work for a while, but don't expect to much more than give it a toss if it malfunctions.I bought one of these Casio Exilim models 3 years ago. Since that time, the viewer cracked and the cost of the repair was 90% of the camera's price. Then the software began to malfunction, intermittently, by that time out of warranty. I find Casio has great features on paper but after the sale service not at all satisfactory. Now I have a very simple 5MP Kodak Easyshare. And judging from user reviews, Kodak will turn around a broken camera in 48 hours. I'll take that over a bunch of bells and whistles anyday.

5-0 out of 5 stars SUPERB CAMERA FOR TRAVELERS
I got my Exilim for taking pictures while traveling, mainly around Europe for three months. The best feature is the small size, small enough to slip unnoticeably in my pocket T-shirt pocket.Pick pockets are abound in Europe, tho violent crime is far less.Being able to carry my camera unnoticeably was great. If you want to make large prints of your travels, a camera with 5 or more mega pixels should be the choice, but the postcard size 4 X 6" prints I made of the trip were excellent and comparable to the 35mm point and shoot cameras I have used. There are many options, such as setting the white balance, which is very useful, that you wouldn't expect on such small camera.Pictures taken in very low light conditions, such as in a darkened night club, are not good, but you do get severely grainy, off color images if it's necessary to take a picture. The 30 second video clips are much lower resolution than 2MP but can be fun to use.I cannot complain about the 3500 pictures I took in Europe and more than that in the US in the first six months of ownership. The battery allowed my chip limit of 120 or so pictures, as long as I could keep from constantly checking to see how the days shots were working.Do all the editing at the end of the day.I did have my laptop with me to download the days pictures. It takes 483 pictures with my new 512MP chip.Enough that my trip to SE Asia for a month later held most of what I took, with no laptop to download to.No more wishing I had a camera on hand if that special moment occurs.

5-0 out of 5 stars Quick Shot & Size is ultra-convenient
I can snap away at those precious shots that we normally lose due to slow shutter speeds.Just be careful, this thing is so small and convenient that I have taken too many pictures.Hopefully I will print most of them before they get lost. The clarity of 2 MegaPixels is amazing...=).

3-0 out of 5 stars Nice camera, but weak battery door is a design flaw
I've had this camera for about a year and really like its performance. It's great on batteries (2-AA) and the features are extensive. Unfortunately, it suffers from Weak Battery Door Design syndrome, depending on a small plastic catch to retain both the batteries and the media card. My camera finally bit the dust on a trip to Sweden, when it fell from a car seat about two feet to the ground. The battery door catch broke and now it can't be used unless you hold the door closed with a clamp or really strong tape.If they had only designed the door as well as the rest of the camera-- in metal --I'm sure it would still be working fine.
4-0 out of 5 stars Great camera
This is my first experience with digital cameras.
5-0 out of 5 stars What's NOT in the box...
This camera is a very nice product. The size is small, only a bit thicker than a Canon S410/S500. And though it is not as cute as the more popular and thinner Casio models, the price is a lot less and it uses stardard AA rechargeable batteries, which can be a big plus in certain situations.
