The case is built sturdy and would definetly protect a camera from jolts from the outside world, but for small camera's like my s400 and my casio M2 im afraid it would be bumping around insde. Would try what Kenneth J. Halliwell mentioned abt the s400. Overall the case is really spacious i would say. It may make life a little difficult when walking around with this attached to your belt. :-) it seems a little big when i look at it and the s400 is so small that the s400 fits in the front pouch meant for accessories neatly!!!

Fits camera, charger, USB cable and extra flash card. Well padded and provides good protection.

Too Small

It's in the bag baby!
When I first saw this bag I was worried that it was going to be too small, but upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. I bought it to hold my Kodak CX6330, and it fits perfectly inside the bag with room to spare. All in all I was able to put both my camera and the manual inside the bag's main compartment, and the outer pocket was big enough to hold my memory card and 4 AA batteries. There's also a small zippered pocket in the lid, but I ran out of things I needed to carry! Also, I must say, the best feature of this bag is the lid, and it is what sold me on it right away. I get so frustrated with constantly having to fumble around to open a bag every time I need to get something out of it. With this bag you will never have that problem! The lid folds back, and stays back! It's wonderful! I was also quite impressed with the craftsmanship. The leather was flawless, it has a sewn in hand strap and a removable adjustable shoulder strap. I highly suggest this camera bag for anyone who is on the go and needs to carry multiple things with them. It's a great purchase and the price can't be beat!

love it!
I love this camera bag!I got it to house my new Olympus C-4000 digital camera (which is fantastic) and it's just what I wanted.It's smaller than I expected, but I can comfortably carry the camera in the bigger side of the inner compartment, all the cords and extra batteries in the other side of the inner compartment, the spare cards in the little pocket in the lid and the battery charger (the Monster Cable MB 4-DCRC Ultra-High Capacity Digital Camera Power Pack) in the outside pocket.The outside pocket has several little zippered pockets in it, too.The inside is well padded and the fabric is very soft, almost like flannel.The camera fits in easily, but it's snug enough that it doesn't rattle around.I also like that the bag doesn't tip over, the lid flips back and STAYS flipped back as does the little flap with the velcro on it (makes it a lot easier to access the zippered pocket in the lid).I also like that the sides of the lid come down far enough that it won't let rain in.Great little bag and definitely the one to get if you have an Olympus C-4000!

Carry's what I needed
I've used my case for a few weeks to haul the camera, battery charger and cords to jobsites and have been very happy with being able to get the Kodak charger, a Photosmart 735 and my cords in the case. I also like the way the top flips back to hold its possiton. It would have been nice to have 4 to 8 slots to put the charged or used batteries in, but with the pocket in the lid this works fine. ... Case Logic DVC60 Koskin Digital Camcorder Bag
When I bought this bag, I wasn't sure if it would be just what Iwas looking for. Believe me, it really does the job! I keep my Digtal Camcorder, (JVC GR-DVL300U) my Digital Camera, (RCA CDS- 4100) my Qualcomm Cell Phone, batteries for both camera, extra tape and disks for each camera, all the attachments, and still have room for more stuff. It is the best bag I've ever seen and sure does all I expected of it. If anyone is looking for a bag for their cameras, I would really give this one a hard look. Stan

Great Compact bag
Nice quality.Very compact.Will not have room for tons of extra cords and batteries for your camcorder but the essentials will fit.I have a Sharp VL-AX1U and it fits perfectly.If you are buying this for a digital camera it would also work very well.

Very Good Bag
The great advantage of this bag is that the entire top unzips (it's actually a double run zipper which gives you a wide storage space while everything stays in place).It was great for my movie camera so I got another one for my digital still camera.I can keep 20 mini CDs plus marking pens, extra battery and charger, and my bulky but essential viewing hood.When the bag opens you can see everything, place everything, and when it closes everything stays in place.After a year I've decided the design is probably the most convienent I've used in 30 yrs.

works well for standard-sized dv cameras
summary: if you own a dv camera, it's probably similarly sized to the panasonic dv-600 camera (a little bigger than the size of a mid-sized nerf football). this bag works well for that sized camera, and it looks sharp, too!Read more

Worked well for me
I used this case for the Canon Pro70 digital camera.It held the camera, the flash unit, the CF card reader, and battery charger very comfortably.At one point I was also carrying a USB hub, but not anymore.The bag went with me everywhere, it was sturdy, and protected my camera well.I've been all over the country with it and it has held up well.

Not a bad bag for light travelers
I bought this bag to hold a Sony DCTRV103 handycam. It has two velcro-fastened, padded dividers inside, but the camera takes up the entire space, so I have no use for them. I also carry the camera's power adaptorand AC cable, it's remote control, a couple of tapes, a 12-foot extensioncord, and a handheld audio cassette recorder with is power adaptor. Allthis puts some strain on the bag's stitching, and it even did some smalldamage to the outer pocket zipper. All in all, it's a good bag, but itsprobably meant more for the DV-type camcorders, because they are a somewhatsmaller than the Sony Handicam Hi8 series. Just make sure that everythingyou think you might need to carry for a shoot will fit comfortably, meaningwithout scratching or having to force zippers closed. ... Read more

A Great Little Bag
This bag is 5" shorter and 2 1/2" narrower than the CBV12 & 15.It also costs ... less.I bought the CBV15 which is a bit smaller and I really like it.The CBV12 is the same size but incudes a detachable camera bag as part of the size.You have to decide what is best for you.Here is my review of the similar CBV15: Fits in small spaces
I needed a case to carry my new Panasonic DV camcorder on my bike -- and this one fit the bill nicely. It's minimalist, yet it includes an interior pocket with two slots, perfectly sized for a DV cassette and a battery. In the lid is a mesh zippered pocket, for miscellany. And, on each end, a zippered pocket carries whatever. The inner divider helps find a secure fit for the camera, and the whole rig fits into my handlebar bag. I liked that it was easy to open this bag when I needed it, thanks to the unusual shape of the lid.
