great lens
If u r like me that likes to take pictures of the places visited and like to capture the atmosphere of the place this lens will do. The Pictures are not perfect but they are good enough.

A wider, but not painless, view for Canon G-series
As a rule, I'm not a big fan of screw-in auxillary lenses for cameras - due to their many compromises - but sometimes the standard lens on the Canon G5 (or G3 or G6) doesn't have the wide angle scope that's called for. Other brand converters made for the Canon G may be smaller, but are prone to vignetting (image darkening in picture corners) and more obvious sharpness fall-off. This Canon lens attachment is sharp, gives good coverage and little fall-off. It's angle of view is somewhere between 24 and 28mm compared to standard the 35mm film format, and often it's just wide enough to do the trick.

Great fun for Photos and Video underwater
Works great , no fogging up , I put the camara in the fridge before I use it, or if you come from an airconditioned environement no problems. If you get grease on the lens wash it with liquid soap , else you will have water drops that dont rinse and they will blur the photo.
Great for fun in the sun!
I took this case with me to my trip to New Zealand and it allowed me to take amazing pictures of rafting and cave tubing.If I didn't have this case I would have missed out on amazing shots.It's a great way to protect your camera from sand as well.I loved it so much I actually bought one for my sister as well.It is a great investment for anyone that doesn't want to worry about their camera getting ruined and also wants to take amazing underwater pictures and videos!

if you are shoting kid at the swiming pool, it's ok. but,if you are the open water diver, please don't buy it. i try it yesterday, it will not work after 10m/33ft, it will show the red screen and count down timer, it scare me. and i miss a lot of shot for yesterday's dive. it's really disappointed to me. ... Works great
I am using this remote with a Canon EOS Digital Rebel and it works great!It would be nice to get the RC-1 so there isn't a 2 sec delay, but for my needs the RC-5 is fine.

Canon RC-1 is a better choice (same price)
This is a nice gadget, but with one disadvantige over RC-1.. With RC-5 you CAN`T take pictures instantly, but only with a 2 sec. delay, and on RC-1 you have the choice. Other than that there isn`t much more to say, i mean it is only one button remote.. :) But offcourse, before you decide to buy RC-1 instead RC-5 check will it work with your camera (i have 300D (digital rebel) so in my case both of them work)

Used for video productions in Las Vegas
Our Las Vegas videographers use the Energizer 9 volt rechargeables in our wireless mics for many of our events. They are great for high power over short periods of time. I'm sure they would be horrible in baby monitors, smoke detectors, etc. but that is not what they are really made for. Good solid battery but costs a bit more than its competitor "Rayovac" 9 volt rechargeables.
Not really 9V, long charge times, short life
I purchased these batteries to use in a small baby monitor that requires 9-volt batteries.Alkalines lasted a good week of the monitor being on quite often; these rechargeables last about 2 days on average.I discovered they are really only 7.2-volt batteries (hidden in the packaging) but they work with my monitor just fine.The batteries take 10 to 13 hours for a full charge which is pretty ridiculous!I guess they pay for themselves over time, and seem to be the best 9-volt rechargeable product that is out there, but it is almost a step backward from alkaline batteries.

Excellent if you buy them for the right purpose
I use several of these for my paintball gear. It is something that is a use it or loose it type thing. They aren't designed to be used over a long term. Charge them, use them, and then recharge them before next use. They are designed to be that way. Not for a smoke detector, that is for sure. They have a higher flow rate, meaning when I put it in my paintball hopper, I know that I am good to go for the day. When I am done for the day, I just take it out and wait till the night before its next use, then charge it back up. With no fear of it failing on me the day of use. I highly suggest it for uses such as mine, or digi cams and the like. Something that requires a lot of power for a short term. ... Read more

Awesome flash unit
This flash unit is by far one of the best camera accessories I've purchased...macro shots are much easier with this flash and I don't have to worry so much about blurry pictures. The bulbs can be set to fire at different ratios and it's possible to turn one side off completely, allowing for nice shadows that give your images more depth. The ring itself can rotate, so the flash can highlight any side of the subject. It has two small focusing lamps that illuminate your subject while you focus, which makes it a lot easier to see what you're doing. It even comes with a nice padded carrying case. Superb Canon Portrait Lens Gets Better
The Canon EF 85mm f1.2L lens has earned ample praise from photographers and critics alike as one of the finest portrait (medium telephoto) lenses available. I'm obviously quite disappointed since the hood doesn't fit my lens. Maybe it fits only the 75-300 USM ?? The package and all the descriptions seem erroneous...

Canon ET60 Lens Hood for EF 75-300mm f/4.0-5.6 SLR Lens
The ET60 fits the affordable Canon 300mm lens but if you're using it with, for example, a Rebel 300D or XT, it will also fit onto the standard 18-55mm lens -- however, when fully zoomed out, part of the hood is visible, creating somewhat of a circle in the frame. I happen to think it looks really cool, gives it a fisheye sort of feel. In regards to the 300 use, it seems to work pretty well and I use it at all times --bright sun or late afternoon. As most people probably have said, lens hoods in general not only shade the lens from stray light or weird angles of the sun (which often, without a hood, makes the photo hazy or grey) but it also provides protection for the lens itself and filter. It's not much money if you're into photography, and it makes your lens look awesome. If you're a beginner and purchased a 300mm, you don't really need to get the hood. Surprised
Despite reading glowing reviews about this lens, I was still surprised to see how well it performed.The lens is SO sharp you can get very good cropped pictures of running athletes, from a distance of three quarters of a Football field away, shooting hand held, with late afternoon light, which will print a 5x7 and still look like a Pro took them!
135 f2 is amazing
Everyone gives this lens a rave so maybe i should approach this terrific lens from a shooting POV.
Quality lens - 135mm f/2L
At a recent NYE event, I shot a lot of photos in a concert setting without a flash and am very impressed with the sharpness & clarity of this lens performance. Its so fast and the colors are vibrant. I am not a seasoned pro but with the 20D and this lens, it makes me look pretty close. I did shoot in manual and once I got my aperture & shutter speed dialed in, it pumped out a lot of great pics.

Suits my needs
If you're looking for something to protect your camera from getting scratched and THAT'S ALL, then this is a great product. I throw my camera in my purse, so I wanted something to keep it from getting banged up. There's an old review on here from 2004 that says it's like a leather glove. It's true, the leather is very soft, but it's not completely soft-sided. There isn't any padding and it's light weight, but it's slightly reinforced and holds it's shape when it's empty. If you drop your camera from a high level, no, this will probably not protect it from breaking. But if you accidentally knock it of the table, this should keep it safe.
BAD SERVICE-DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!
I ordered the camera case for the Canon Digital Elph 450. And I was given a completely different one. Prices sound great, but they do not deliver what you buy. Had a bad experience with them.

Different Grades of Leather?
My original SD500 and PSC 50 leather case were both stolen during a burglary. Since they were gifts from my girlfriend I tried to replace the exact items. After buying the leather case, however, I suspect Canon made versions with better quality leather.My original case seemed to be made with a much higher grade of leather. It was more smooth and elegant than the one I just purchased. Even the small metal 'Canon Powershot' emblem on the front is made with a different kind of metal (is not brushed steel like the original).

This filter was made in the Phillipines, not made in Japan as you would expect from Canon photographic equipment.For $8, I guess you can't expect too much.

Easier to Clean and Replace Than Your Front Element
I never take my UV filter off of my lens unless I am going to immediately put on a different filter.There are basically two camps out there, those that feel you should always use a UV filter to protect your lens from dirt and scratches and those that feel it is a waste of time and only degrades your image.Well, I tried going without one for awhile and then dirt started to build up on the front element of my very expense lens.And although you can clean the front element of a lens, I feel much, much safer wiping my comparatively cheap UV filter time and time again rather than chancing any actual lens damage.I think for the nearly unquantifiable loss in image quality you may suffer by having a UV filter on, it is well worth the extra piece of mind it gives me. ... Card Readers Break These Don't
Those card readers that the previous reviewer was talking about break after too much data has been transfered so DO NOT listen to him.Canon makes quality products and their cables are the same I have never had a problem with them.And you don't have to worry about losing the cables if they stay conneected to your computer.If you don't have enough room purchase a USB Hub.

Works to 130 feet
Initially I was wary after reading a few reports that this case may leak, but so far I have had no problems at all.I tested it to 12 feet at the bottom of my swimming pool (with a 1lb lead weight inside to make it sink) and then took it to 130 feet on several dives the following day with my trusty S400 camera.Great pictures, clear video, what a great product.
A Bargain! And Works as Advertised!
I've had the S400 and this housing for two years now and I've taken it on at least 20 dives. It's gone with me down to about 80 ft numerous times. No issues, no leaking. I am not exceptionally careful with the camera prep but I do use dessicant - which I think is a no brainer for UW photography. For $170 this is the bargain of a lifetime. I love being able to use the same camera for both land and underwater shots. I don't have to master two camera interfaces. After two years, even if it fails at this point, I got my money's worth about 18 months ago, in my opinion. I can't recommend this enough - for anyone who is nervous, just buy the insurance for your trip like the other reviewers suggested - and see how it goes. Canon has made a fan for life.

This underwater case works just like a non-pro hopes it will. You get it out of the box, you put your camera in, and close the lock. You jump in the water and take perfect digital pictures. magnifies but gets blurry
This lens does ok at magnifying about 2x max.On full zoom, the magnification was not as sharp as without the close-up lens.

Nice Accessory
This is a great tool for those shots where you want to get down low.Macro work and landscape/waterscape shots near the ground are so much easier with the angle finder on than without.I have also used it when doing portrait work to get a more flattering angle without having to kneel or stoop over the whole time.

A cover- not a case
I'm not sure what I was expecting, but this case, despite quality construction, is awkward to squeeze my Canon 20D into and offers no real protection from the elements.If it were $10 I wouldn't complain, but I just bought the Tamrac 5684 Digital SLR camera case for $10 LESS and that action has a badillion pockets and seals my SLR away in a shock absorbent foam vault.I'm about to return the case/cover above right now.

Was looking for something to use when I didn't want to carry all the other stuff in a hard case. This works just fine when all you need is camera & 1 lense. Not fancy but it does the job
