Basic and as inexpensive as they get
Unfortunately, if you need a ruggedized case, this is as inexpensive as they come.If you want a truly ruggedized case for professional use, this is not it.If you use a quick release tripod attachment the camera does not fit in the case. Beautiful but fatally flawed.
This case is sexy and very professional-looking. It is obviously rugged and well-constructed. But just a few minutes ago, the shoulder strap slipped through the hitch system, and the case (and expensive camera therein) slammed onto the pavement. Read more

A bit too much...
Our Canon 500 swims in this case.Too big, too much, just too much going on here.Not sleek at all, simply screams "I'm a big camcorder bag with an expensive camera in here - please steal me?"I rather wrap up my camera in an old tshirt than use this dinosaur of a bag.

Nice Spacious Case
This is an excellent case that is well built and has a ton of space. The only thing that I'm not thrilled with is that the case has sort of a false bottom for storage. so if you want to store or take something from the false bottom, everything that is store in the top part must come out to get to the false bottom, then it all must go back in again

Execellent Results
I had no trouble fitting this wide converter lenns attachment to my Canon ZR 100 camcorder and it works great.

Big plus for this camcorder
The lens arrived promptly.It really made a difference on action and sports shots.The expanded field of view really helps reduce the motion effect on action shots and allows for closer filming of subjects without "cutting their heads of legs".

Canon WD-28 really helps

Canon wide angle converter.
Nice accessory. Ads enough of an increase in angle of view to make it worth the price, with just about no distortion. not worth it
I'm not sure if this is exactly the item I purchased. Nevertheless I did get a couple of "compatibles" and they worked just fine for about 3 months. Then they would not charge, then they would again, and then not .... Well, I "saved" quite some money, and am now going back to Canon originals.

Don't buy these
I bought 2 of these for a Canon S40 camera. As reported by another reviewer the charger blinks red and green and the batteries just won't charge. I returned both. I then bought some even cheaper batteries from Amazon marketplace which work just fine.

This does NOT work!

Good customer service from BTI poor however poor performance
Original purchase date was Aug 2004, quantity 3 purchased. Batteries did not hold a charge.BTI replaced all three (fortunately I saved the package, with warranty).The replaced batteries, sent June 2005, weren't much better, they won't hold a charge for more than 12 pictures.This time BTI sent a UPS call tag to pick up the troublesome product, and there was a suggestion that I might be allowed to exchage them for a different BTI product.Inthe mean time I purchased a genuine Canon battery replacement.I'm giving three stars because of the excellent customer service, not the product. You may want to consider purchasing one of these as a back-up battery. Be prepared to fax/email a copy of your invoice to get an RMA and pay for return shipping.BTI covers shipping back to you. Your experience could be different based on i) the type of charger you are using (I used the original CB-2L charger supplied with my S-100), ii) the current production may be better than the older ones.

P.O.S.Junk....
Piece of Junk.I purchase as a buy one get one free piece of garbage.They don't hold a charge or have the stated capacity.Don't buy anything except a genuine Canon battery.These batteries are supposed to be rated higher in capacity, meaning more shots per charge...what B.S.I only get about 1/4 of the performance of my 4 year old original canon battery. If they had 0 stars, I would rate it that.

Working well and holding a charge just fine after a year.
