Flaky paper handling
I got this printer, together with the Kodak Easyshare C340 camera.

This is the second printer dock I have purchased in a little over a year.The first one gave me problems in that the message to replace paper occured while there was still plenty of paper in the tray.It finally stopped, would not grab the paper any longer. I replaced it with a new one, but my camera would not fit on the dock, and I had to call Kodak and purchase an adaptor for about $15.00 plus shipping. It seems to be working alright, although I have not had a chance to really put it to the test of multiple prints.I am keeping my fingers crossed, because I really like the concept of immediately printing my pictures.

KodakPrinter Dock Plus
Unfortunately, I was one of the morons that purchased this piece of junk. I have had this printer since 12/04 and every time I attempt to use it, something isn't working. I have printed approxmately 20 or so picture in total. This time, the printer will only prints half pictures. I called Kodak and was advised to download their new software. I did that and now the printer won't work at all. The lady told me to send the printer in as they have had lots of problems with them. She then asked for my credit card number and that was all she wrote. She tells me they are having trouble with the printers, but I have to pay. I wrote the CEO and no response, so they don't back their product either. Kodak is in trouble and I wonder why?

Printing a Problem
All works fine until you attempt to print a full expensive package of paper.The print cartridge consistently falls far short of allowing use of all sheets supplied in a package.The Kodak representative said I must keep the printer "plugged in" at all times.So much for being a portable unit.Have accumulated 60 sheets which I am unable to utilize as Kodak's position is they WILL NOT sell ink cartridges separately.The printer will not perform as advertised.You are just stuck with a defective product.

An Embarrassment!
I am thrilled with the pictures, but the printer dock is an abomination.My brother bought me 9 cartridge packs for Christmas.I have used up 6 so far and each one is defective.The warning comes up on the LCD screen to replace the cartridge when you have only used about 18 pictures.What a waste of money.Also, there is a frequent warning on the LCD screen that insults your intelligence to ADD MORE PAPER.Here you want your pictures instantly only to have your hopes ruined.I notified Kodak about this problem.The CSR told me to connect the printer dock to have updated software added. I did as prescribed, but it did no good!Anyway, why should I have to update this contraption at all!This only serves purpose that the machine has flaws.

Uploads pictures easily, refuses to recharge
When my dock was brand new I would have to wiggle camera to get the dock to say it was recharging.It is now 2 years old the recharger hasn't worked for a year or so.I have just been using regular AA's.

Treated it right, but...
It is probably beating a dead horse to repeat what others have said already, but perhaps there's influence in numbers.Bought this item with the hopes of giving a loved one something that would produce prints quickly and easily, albeit expensively.Glad she turned out not to be the user, because this printer dock drives me up the wall, and I'm the patient one.Although the pictures have been just fine, after the first few trouble-free print batches, each new use has meant time spent fiddling with the system to eke out a print or two.The greatest problem is the paper feed, which now works only for an occasional sheet if the stack size is perfect and I hold my mouth right.The software is quirky, too, making unreasonable demands for full functionality (administrator priviledges).The latest cartridge, newly installed, went belly up after 11 prints.Lest you get the wrong impression, all but three of those prints required at least one paper tray adjustment and restart.And yes, I fanned the paper, took great pains not to exceed the fill line, repeatedly verified a clear, clean paper path, and completely refrained from belting the sucker.
Stay away from this printer.
The quality of the photos was decent for the first 5 photos, and then it started printing on half the page. I wasted many expensive photos trying to troubleshoot the problem.I finally sent it back to Kodak.This was the second time I had to pack it all back together and send it in.This time they tell me it is going to cost more than I originally paid in order to fix it. The first time I sent it in they fixed it. This piece of junk is only a couple months old, and I bought it from an authorized dealer. It is not my fault their product is so horrible that I had to send it in twice.I had to pay shipping twice plus the price of the original purchase for only 5 photos, and now they won't fix it. Do yourself a favor and steer far away from Kodak.

Great for printing high quality pics if you're not in a rush
I got this for my birthday from my boyfriend. I had already had gotten a Kodak easyshare camera from him so this was a great little gadget for me to own. I tried it out the first time months ago and it worked great. It printed out high-quality pictures. Even today, it is still working great and I couldn't believe how easy it was to print pictures from the computer. The only bad thing about it is that it takes a looong time to print. You'll be sitting watching the paper feed through at least 4 times before it completes printing. And buying the printer cartridge and paper can add up after a while.
Cool little machine!
I wanted a digital camera, but I don't have a computer, nor do I plan on getting one any time soon.Also, I'm lazy, so taking my camera to a store to develope pictures seemed like alot of hassle.So, this little gadget has worked out pretty well for me so far.
Enjoying a "printing lab" in my room

KODAK CX7330 - CHARGING ISSUES
I purchased this camera in Dec. 04.I started having charging probelms shortly after.Sent back to Kodak 3 different times before they finally replaced with a refurbished camera.Now having same problem.Camera will not hold charge and will not turn on or shut off shortly after turning on.Customer service in India has been useless.Spent over 7 hours on the phone with them so far.Alleged "consumer advocate" is supposed to help.Should really be called company advocate as Kodak pays him/her not the consumer.

Very disappointed!
I agree with Shelly.This camera takes great pictures BUT worked properly for about a month.I sent it back to kodak and they repaired some things and it's malfunctioning again!It is no longer under warranty so I might as well by a new one.It goes off and on by itself, the lens pops out, then back in, its ridiculous.They said for me to use lithium batteries, so that I did, and they do last forever it seems (much longer than rechargable) but its still acting up.I thought I would've gotten a much better camera from kodak.Going to try a different brand next.

Great camera/printer for a beginner
Bought this for my eleven year old daughter. She had no problems figuring out how to use the camera. The printer dock is fairly easy to set up and the pictures turn out as good as or better than the local one hour photo places. She has enjoyed taking photos and using the movie mode, too. Even though it's more expensive than a film camera, you save by not having to print all the bad shots. I highly recommend it. I would give 5 stars, but I haven't used the camera/printer myself. ...
