Great Compact Binoculars at Affordable Price
These are great little binoculars that I use quite often.They are so compact and lightweight that I grab them whenever I leave the house - whether it be for a boat ride around the lake or just a quick ride.I don't see quite as well when I leave my eyeglasses on and it does take a little bit more adjusting to get the focus right with eyeglasses, but they are a great pair of binoculars for the price.I am very impressed with the quality of them.

Bushnell Compact Folding Binocular
I wasn't sure how good these binoculars would be given the size, but I had a lot of confidence in the Bushnell name. I'm very happy I decided to take a chance and buy them.They are everything I was hoping for.Compact, lightweight, and easy to use.I would definitely recommend them!

wonderful
We had a bushnell that finally wore out after twenty years, and tech out paced it. I bought a pair of glasses from another vendor, and these. This is a superior set. Easy to adjust, powerful, in fact too powerful for our backyard feeders, we use the compact pair for the yard, and save this for the beach and bird walks. Bushnells are not super compact, but the compact 8 x40 model I bought is going on Ebay this week.
Nice binoculars
I have bought a few binoculars in the past couple of years. And have been satisfied with only a couple.These binoculars I am very pleased with. The clarity is very good and the price is terrific.I have wasted alot of money on some not so good Bushnell binoculars. But this pair was a pleasant surprise.

The NatureView 8 x 42 Roof Prism Binoculars are an incredibly good pair of binoculars.I searched around and compared the specifications of several Bushnell binos and I decided on these.I couldn't be happier with my choice.The field of view (330' @ 100 yrds)is perfect for birding, making it easy to follow a bird as it flies from perch to perch.The color optics are amazing, as I've never seen the plumage so clearly before.This binocular in particular is nicely streamlined on account of the roof prisms, not bulky like the NatureView Plus 8 x 42.I highly recommend purchasing these great binoculars. ... Personally, I did not know much about binocluars so I researched and got the lead about this great product from a hunting site. Decent optics but focuser is sloppy
Purchased the 16x50 version of these Bushnell binoculars (primarily for star gazing).While the optics seem fine (for the money) the rocker style focuser is easily jarred out of position, even simply by pressing the eyepieces to your eyes when gazing upward or by trying to adjust the diopter.
Not great binoculars
I was expecting a better visual field for the binoculars.They are good but not great.

Excellent rangefinder
I use this for golf yardage when I'm in a location where the yardage is hard to determine. Very accurate. Does require a steady hand. Would not recommend more magnification than this one has as it would be very difficult to hold steady enough for a target as small as a flag.

I got a Nikon laser rangefinder for Chrisymas and it had an 8x magnification. I found this to be to powerful for golf.I could not hold it steady on the flag.The 6x magnification on the Bushnell Yardage Pro Scout was much better. Excellent for Golf
I've used this since 2001 and extensively in 2006 now that it's USGA legal.Not sure why others have having trouble holding this steady.Anything <200 yards I have no problem hitting the flag (you don't aim at the stick, you aim at the flag).Excellent for getting distances to bunkers, trees, and other hazards.
Great idea but not effective -- too difficult to hold steady
I bought the Bushnell Yardage Pro Tour Laser Rangefinder despite warnings about the inability to hold it steady enough.I have no tremor; neither do I have any problems with steadiness; however, I found it practically impossible to hold the laser crosshairs on the flagstick from 60-100 yards away without getting a multitude of readings, depending upon what reflection it relied upon. I found myself with a multiple choice reading, and even the one closest to my estimate was doubtful.Even steadying the binoculars on the cart edge didn't really help much.
Not Up To Par!
I have used a Bushnell Yardage Pro400 Laser Rangefinder since June, 1997. This summer it went belly-up, so I purchased the Bushnell Yardage Pro Tour (#200002), a much smaller instrument than the Pro400, which was like a binocular. However, with our new reflector flagsticks, I could read beyond 400 yards by merely pointing toward the green, without actually seeing the flag. It worked great. The Yardage Pro Tour, while small and convenient, is no where near as accurate or sensitive as the Pro400. It's hard to hold steady and must be exactly on the reflector flagstick to get a reading. It has a special feature, which if you depress the button for more than 3 seconds, it starts scanning (It usually takes longer than 3 seconds to get any reading). With a jiggling hand, the instrument flashes various yardage numbers faster than one can read them of whatever the instrument is scanning at that instant. Even with the flagstick laser reflectors, it's very difficult to get a reading. It's almost impossible to read the flag from beyond 150 yards. Certainly, it can't compare with the old Pro400. I sent the Pro400 to Bushnell for a repair, but they have no parts for it. They did offer to sell me a Yardage Pro Trophy (#202018), a lesser model than the Yardage Pro Tour, for $150. I can't honestly recommend the Yardage Pro Tour. If I had it to do over, I'd probably buy the Elite 1500, a larger, more expensive instrument reminiscent of the Pro400. ... Read more

How would I know, amazon.com won't deliver it!!
I ordered mine at amazon.com's back in early December.I am still waiting for it.They have delayed it 3 times already.They are telling me now that I might get it come April.At this rate, perhaps I will finally get it before next Christmas!Don't be fooled by their "1-2 days shipping".Sure, it only takes 1-2 days to ship it; after they hold your order for 4 MONTHS.Other than amazon.com, this might be a good product.

Not the best, but you get what you pay for
I bought this at a local Sporting Goods store for $150 because of the price and brought it to the range.I could range the 50, 100 and 150 signs.I was able to range the 181 yard flag...once only.And the bright yellow 200 yard sign....forget it. I tried until the battery was dying, balanced it against a board and still couldn't hit it. Forget all the other pins.I was able to return it and am waiting for a Nikon with it's First Priority program to go on sale.Maybe good for other uses, but not golf.

Never Received
After ordering so many things for Christmas and other occasions, I have just realized that I did not receive the binoculars.Everything else came in good order and was excellent but the binocs never got here.Can you help with this?

These are great binoculars. I've owned much more expensive binoculars and truely don't see any difference.Great buy.They are 100% waterproof since I flipped my canoe and they were not affected in any way.

Worked well - no problem with eye fatigue watching football
Based on another reviewer's recommendation, I at first got the Bushnell Powerview 4x30 instead of these Xtra-Wide 4x21s.But I just wasn't satisfied with the field-of-view of the 4x30s (not only do the specs overestimate their ability, but they only apply to the width of view, not the height).With the 4x21s, the field of view actually seemed to be larger than the specs indicate, and provided a nice round image, as tall as it was wide.It was like the difference between night and day!Also, I didn't experience any eye fatigue as the other reviewer mentioned: this may be because I was watching football instead of basketball (less constant action and movement).But to be honest, if I get eye fatigue from these 4x21s, I would still rather use them than the 4x30s--I can take a break or let a friend use them if my eyes start getting tired (besides, I never like holding binoculars up to my head the whole game anyway).

Closest thing to a Telescope
This spotting scope from Bushnell is an excellent buy if you are an outdoors person or if you like watching the world from your window.

Proving that there's life in the old dog yet, Bushnell have come up with this, the successor to the out-dated, poor-performing Trophy Splashproof Spotting Scope, and I have to say, it's a fantastic improvement. As soon as I took it out of the box I was impressed with its styling, shape, colour, and of course, waterproofness. I set it up in my front room and spent a happy couple of hours watching my neighbours coming and going, and they were oblivious to my surveillance. It's not the most subtle 'scope out there but stick a blanket over your head and you're laughing. After Years These Binoculars Are Still Giving Their All
I got these binoculars a couple of years ago as a Christmas gift from my grandfather for Christmas a couple of years ago and time and again they have been a joy to use. Last time I used it extensivly was during my 8th grade D.C. field trip where I used this to get a clear view inside the Whitehouse while still in the park area (about 400 or 500 yards away) just to give you an idea of how powerful this thing is. Its ease of use is magnificant too especially with its one touch focus system which takes the hassle out turning a knob constantly to get the right focus like other binoculars but instead with one touch on the control you can get the exact focus. This thing also is has comfortable eye rests that makes viewing in them comfortable to the skin around your eyes instead of a skin agitation like some other binoculars. Overall this binocular is powerful, convienant, and comfortable to use is the most anyone can ask for binoculars. Get what you pay for
The camera with this unit was hardly worth it the low cost. The optics are fine for the price, but built in camera was useless. Unable to obtain a clean shot. I brought it to try this out in the back yard and take some pictures. I figured if I like it I would invest in a more expensive model. In hindsight I should have just saved my money and buy a better model. Buyer beware!!!

Software doesn't work for XP
I think the people that are giving this product 5 stars must work for Bushnell of the software company. It absolutely doesn't work. Don't buy this if you're doing so for it's digital camera.
