3-0 out of 5 stars Live and Learn
Well, you live and learn. These binoculars are ergonomic, look great and will perform well in bright light. However, out in the woods at dusk, the image just isn't bright enough.5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent small binoculars
Very nice portable/compact binoculars. Very high quality given the necessary tradeoffs between price of the lens/prism system and the size of the overall unit. I have had very bad experiences with other "compact" binoculars in the past. Either they seem to have bad optics, a narrow field of view, a high price tag, or all of the above. But this Olympus has really made a believer out of me.5-0 out of 5 stars Love it

5-0 out of 5 stars Really cool!
At a reasonable price, this Olympus binoculor is really cool. It's small enough to bring with you for travl. A bag (for protection) comes with the package, which could be attach to your belt easily. And the optical effect is decent for its price. 1-0 out of 5 stars I can only see through them with one eye at a time, too tiny
I had just bought an Olympus C-2040 digital camera (see my review) which I totally love, and I guess I got swept up in the Olympus thing, so I bought a set of these binoculars. After reading the reviews, I was convinced that these were the best way to go. When I received them, I was shocked, and felt a little stupid for not listening to the reviewer who mentioned that they were not for the wide eyed: I could only see through one lense at a time. If I lined my one eye up, the other one was completely out of the other eyepiece. By opening both eyes, I was looking at the painted body of the lense. My head is large, but I thought that it would be in the ballpark, and for the price, it was worth a little inconvenience, but this pair of binoculars is so small that it is IMPOSSIBLE for me to see through them with both eyes, even if I cut my view on both lenses in half. I can't do it that way either. As corny as this may sound, I just went up to the mirror, with a 12" ruler, and measured my eyes, and they are exactly 2 1/2" apart. That's center of eyeball to center of eyeball. These binoculars measure 1 1/4" closed, and only 1 1/2" fully open. That once again is center of eyepiece lense, to center of eyepiece lense. I can just see everybody reading this review, going to their mirrors, and taking a measurement. :-) Hey I am serious, those are the exact measurements. It's a shame, because these things are cool looking, and look crystal clear, as long as I see through them using one eye. Hope this helps.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Compact Binos
We were looking for a compact pair of binos for a gift and read several positive reviews here, so we ordered two pair (one for us, since we enjoy birdwatching). I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised by the exceptionally bright, vivid image and crisp detail provided by the optics. Very lightweight and compact, taking up little space if you have to pack them. The carry strap only attachs on one side, but that's a minor flaw. In all, this is a terrific pair of binos, one I highly recommend! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Almost perfect
I have owned and used the 108-768 (aka. Magellan) binocular for about 1 year. They never leave my boat. I like the grippy-light weight body and the focus and forget individual eyepiece's. The internal compass is as stable as most any brand and can be quite handy when taking bearings. The prisms are BaK4 optical glass and help to keep false color to a very low level. They have taken more than a few bumps, both from handling and rough water, but have always came through and asked for more. I am happy with theses binoculars and they are several hundred dollars less than top notch Fuji's or Steiners.Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Good Compact Zoom Binocular for Its Price
For its price, it's a very nice 10-30x25 zoom binocular. At 10X, clarity and brightness is not much diff. than comparable fixed mag. 10x binocular. At 30X, the distortion and brightness are comparable to low-end fixed mag. 30x binocular. To change zoom while maintain targeting, I have to learn to focus with my left hand while zoom with right. It's different than my other binoculars but I get used to it after some practices. The twist up/down eyecups are a bit of annoyance.5-0 out of 5 stars How do I buy this product
I want to purchase this product but I can't find the shopping cart on any other way to buy.

1-0 out of 5 stars Bad zoom binoculars

4-0 out of 5 stars Compact, Solid and Very Clear
I have had this for over 6 months now and i cant really complain about it. Its compact and easy to use. However, people with glasses would have trouble using it. I use it without my glasses(there is a power caliberation that you can do to match ur eye power) and then its very clear.
5-0 out of 5 stars voyeur heaven
I was a bit worried at first at the tiny size, but it is tres powerful! I bought it for a school trip to the Amazon forest and I sighted way more birds and animals than everyone else which helped get me an A in the course. Yes, these binoculars rock!!

4-0 out of 5 stars Pretty Cool Considering
