Cute Webcam, Useless Camera
Nice looking camera, and a handy stand makes it a nice little webcam. However, as a digital camera, it is nearly useless. What is not written in any posted description, in fact, not even on the package, but hidden inside is the notice that if the camerais turned off, batteries removed or run dead, it will erase all pictures within. So, if you take pictures, make sure you have a laptop with you to immediately download your pictures. With this little restriction it is really just a web cam because you mast have a computer with it.

I got this camera new for $35.00, and still feel ripped off. The "high resolution" images (352x288) look like a screen capture from a web cam, and the low resolution images (176x144) don't even look like images. It will only take pictures in extremely good light, literally. If you try to take a picture without enough light, it beeps telling you that it can't do it. I turned on all the lights in the room, in the middle of the day, and that still wasn't good enough for it. I had to open all the blinds and point it toward the window before it would even take a picture. Oh yeah, and all the pictures in the camera are erased if you turn the thing off. I just wanted a simple camera to take pics for the web, but its high-resolution images aren't even good enough for that task. Stay away from this stinker. ... Read more

B & H PZ3300 Not worth 0 Cents
Pur PZ3300 2 years ago and when it worked, it was good. Have shot about 8 roll thru it. Pd $60 at WalMart. Now I get a flashing timer and the only buttons that work is the ON/OFF and the mid-roll rewind. Put in new battery and film may give you 1-4 shots before it goes into flashing timer mode. The sparse instruction manual tells you to "Complete Data Setting Mode" but does not tell you how to do this as the only button that works is the ON/OFF. Contacting www.jazzphoto.com is out of service. For $22.50 it can be sent off to NJ address but who knows if they exist either. I can say however that the case is worth about $10 but the camera is 0 cents. Don't buy this faulty unit. Paying $60 for camera to shoot 8 rolls of film and ruin 3 more roll is not worth it. Not what I would expect from Bell & Howell.

I have this camera...
.. don't waste your money on it.I have gone through 5 or 6 batteries with this camera.The battery will die in the middle of a roll, then when you replace it with a new one, the counter resets to zero.If you do not remember where you left you will get a double exposures.

dispite what others think...
For the Price, you really can't beat the quility. I love mine, However, I'm still looking to buy a Nikon N65 Just so I can have more freedom when I'm taking pictures. outside of the restrictions brought on by a Compact camea, I've no real complaints with it. As A side Note, anyone worried about Batteries, I bought the E-2s by Energizer, And I've not had any trouble with them, or Durcell. remember, spending alittle more on Good batteries makes a difference.

Don't lose the software!
This camera is a great little "pic on the fly" type camera.If you're a person who actually composes photos, or have an artistic streak, don't waste your time and money.However, it is a good little camera for spur of the moment image capturing.The worst thing about it is that THERE IS NOWHERE TO FIND THE DRIVER if you lose or damage the accompanying CD.If there's someone out there that cam make it available online please do so.

Not great - but it works
Very low end camera. No LCD image viewer -- you must plug in to TV or computer to see the pictures. Only holds 8 pix in hi-rez mode (lower rez and movie features work but are poor quality and are simply unusable). Digital zoom is worthless. Buggy software included. Still -- it takes ok hi-rez photos (usually with a green tinge, but that can be fixed with the software). Oh, it eats AAA batteries for lunch. Great Camera
This Camera is pretty good for a first digital camera.If you are using a PC (you have to for the drivers to work!) and running windows ME or better you can even make movies with Windows Movie Maker (Go To START>PROGRAMS>ACCESSORIED>WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER), you can add music and voices!It also triples as a webcam!The software that comes with the camera is great.It includes Ulead Photo Express 4, Cool 360, and AVI Creator!The function (Ct) allows you to take 10 second video clips when not attached to a PC.This Camera is a great inexpensive, i know i love mine!

Not Very Good At All
I knew that the camera, with it's low price, wouldn't be the best I've ever used.Though, for the [money] I paid for it, I didn't expect much for a display...which is why I wasn't *too* disappointed by there not being *any* display but to tell you what mode the camera is in.The camera is fine, the functionality is decent, it's nothing near the higher-priced cameras I'm used to using, but it's ok.My only problem with it is that the CD they give with the drivers and programs on it for me was warped and refused to work.Another downfall...the company didn't have the drivers online...seems that they've gone into the scanner business and dropped all the digital camera stuff.Not a wise idea.Anything that is still in production and is being distributed should make sure, if drivers are necessary for use, that they have a location online where they are located.It's only the little things that are it's downfall.Overall, the camera is a decent start-out for children or beginners to get used to the basic concept of taking pictures and putting them on your computer/the internet.I give it a two out of 5 stars...

Very limited
There is no screen to immediately show you how your pictures came out.The LCD display on this unit only shows a count of how much memory is left. A display was one of the big advantages of the last digital camera I used, because I could overwrite shots that turned out badly.This unit also does not have the ability to overwrite the last shot.Read more

this camera.takes good photos,and doesn't delete photos,software works fine,and i've had no trouble with the camera.A photo taken with this camera is in the semi finals for a photo contest.So,buy that you know,it can take pretty pictures.Digital cameras differ from normal cameras,and take more practice,when taking pictures.It even takes photos through glass,even though the manual says not too.worth the money,especailly to a beginner,as i was.(with digital camera)Also,if you have a compact flash memory card,Which holds more photos, you can turn the power off etc,and you won't lose any photos as stated in some other reviews.You can delete photos from the mb card when it's full,after saving photos to a disk or computer and use the mb card over and over again.No more wasted film or film developing,when photo don't come out.the software has neat photo enhancment features as well.You can even turn your photos in to web projects,wallpaper,slideshows,and screensavers.If your photo is a little dark,light etc.you can edit your photos with the software.

Good toy for kids, bad camera for adults(you expected more?)
I just bought this as a gift for a 13-year-old. I tried it out today just to make sure (a) it worked and (b) it was good enough to be a nice gift. I was satisfied on both counts. Don't buy this camera.
This camera is a waste of your good money. The images are grainy and washed out. It is very sensitive to light, resulting in white faces and poor contrast. To top it all off, the camera seems to randomly delete photos as I take additional photos, and not because the memory is short. Read more
