5-0 out of 5 stars A Gem of a Camera
I bought the Rebel EOS Digital XTi 400D to upgrade my almost 3-year old Rebel EOS Digital 300D (which, by the way, is still a great camera). I won't go into the technical differences between the two cameras, but I will say this: the differences between the two cameras are worth the cost of the upgrade for me. Here's why.
5-0 out of 5 stars Absolutely stunning
I am an advanced amature. For me, the quality of professionally done prints is the biggest measure of a camera or lense. I will be brief and to the point:

5-0 out of 5 stars Amazing camera
All I have to say is this is a great digital camera, and I've had a few of them.I just took it on vacation to AZ with me - my first use of the camera and I came home with fantastic images and videos.I had no problems with the camera at all, and never even had to charge the battery or go to the extra, charged battery I brought along with me.I purchased the little battery charger so that I wouldn't have to take along the camera cradle and I advise anyone to buy it.It's very tiny and works great. You cannot go wrong with this camera. It's great at auto so you can just point-and-shoot and enjoy, or very manual if you feel like futzing with it.Also, it's just a very cool looking camera and very sturdy.Even though it's so tiny, I didn't feel like I was going to break it, bull-in-a-china-shop that I am.It was a bit odd getting used to having no veiw-finder to look through, and keep putting the camera up to my eye a few times!

5-0 out of 5 stars awesome scanner!
Great scanner! Sleek, fast, and well worth its money. Using the Canon Scanner Toolbox software [included] is key: you can scan it directly to to any program you designate [I use Photoshop], which I then use to tweak my scans. Within the toolbox, you can also scan it directly to printer, save, pdf, etc. There are also convenient buttons on the scanner itself - these are a bit sensitive and I accidentally pressed them a couple of times, but you can quickly cancel if that happens. I ignore the included software [Arcsoft] in favor of Photoshop because I prefer to edit my images myself in familiar territory. I scanned, edited, and saved 20 images at 300 dpi in less than an hour. The USB power connection is a great bonus! No warmup time whatsoever. It stays plugged into my front USB port - I can just plop a photo onto the scanner, open up the Toolbox, verify settings, and presto!
3-0 out of 5 stars Sleek sexy scanner, but terrible software! Mac users avoid!
The CanoScan 600F is an incredibly sleek, thin and lightweight scanner. It's also quiet and can be used vertically.Another plus is that it requires no power cord. One simple USB cable provides both power and data transfer. It also has some remarkable automatic tools to restore faded photos. It can also remove dust and scratches by using a separate infrared scan. Pretty cool!
4-0 out of 5 stars Great scanner, but included software isn't perfect
I've been waiting for this scanner to come since Canon's announcement last month.I originally purchased the 500f, but the film adapter was very disappointing in that you could only scan one negative at a time. The 600f will allow you to scan up to 6 at once.

4-0 out of 5 stars Not too bad!
The camcorder's quality is pretty good, however the picture quality isn't. I hate to say it, but even when it's on the best possible resolution, it's really "grainy", not like a shot from a regular digital camera. Other than that it's great!
4-0 out of 5 stars ZR700 MiniDV Camcorder
Great camera, movies are very clear, works great in low light vs my JVC MiniDV camcorder.Very small but easy to use!!would recommend

4-0 out of 5 stars Perfection slightly flawed
This is a fine little camera.Everything is as advertised and more, except for one glaring exception. The remote control is a plastic piece of junk with (at least in my case) an unopenable battery compartment. I could not get it replaced without sending the whole package back to the manufacturer, so I'm basically stuck with it.But other than that, as I said, it's a fine little camera. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars just okay
Overall, seems to work well for the price. I've had a few problems though. 1) Often the printer says it doesn't "recognize" an ink cartridge (one that came with the printer originally) and I have to turn it off and on again to get it to work. 2) I haven't figured out how to print on legal size paper... I think maybe it's not possible.3) Color quality is just so-so even on photo paper. I had a better experience with my old Epson that lasted me almost 10 years.
1-0 out of 5 stars TERRIBLE RELIABILITY
Even though I have used my printer (a Pixma 5000) very lightly, it jams regularly on Canon photo paper and then spills ink everywhere. Today it went into "service error 5700" and it doesn't work any more, even after rebooting it five times.
3-0 out of 5 stars NICE PRINTER BUT ONE BOTHERSOME FLAW ...
I recently bought this printer from Amazon, generally like it, but it has one problem: when I have not used printer for a time (1 - 7 days, this problem more likely & severe the longer it has been) colors are often very bad, eg no red at all, sometimes no red and no yellow, on first page or 2 that I print. After 1-2 pages everything works fine until printer is unused for another few-day period. This problem always leaves me the choice of reprinting 1 or 2 pages (spending precious time and draining expensive ink) or accepting a lousy looking printout.Note there may be a fix out there, I am too lazy/busy to hunt it down. And if you are running this printer long and hard, on a daily basis, you will probably not experience this problem. But if you use printer only for small and occasional jobs (say a 4 page job 3 times a week) I think this printer is a bad choice, you can probably get more dependable quality from a less expensive printer. ... 1-0 out of 5 stars scans/prints of photos turn out reddish
If you're picky about how your photos turn out, I don't recommend the MP460.Scanned photos show up reddish in hue (I even tested a photo with a green rug--it turned out reddish as well) and the colors are a bit washed-out.Printing directly from a digital photo does not solve the problem, as those prints have the same red problem.I know it's not a problem with my particular printer, since I tested out the MP460 at the store as well after returning mine, and it had the same issue.

4-0 out of 5 stars great printer, but not as cheap per page as I hoped
I've had this about a month. It's easy to use, and prints GREAT photos--really impressive to me (though I'm admittedly no pro). Better than the HP I was using before, though that was at least a couple years old. Copies are fine. I haven't tried the scanner yet. Doesn't take up a ton of room on my desk (budget a little less than 2 feet by 2 feet). Not too noisy, reasonably quick. My only complaint is that it doesn't get the low price/page of B/W printing I was hoping for. I read somewhere (CNET I think) that it could get as low as $0.04/page, and that's way off. I'd say it gets about $0.08/page at best, maybe $0.10. So if mass black and white printing is your task, you might want to invest in a laser. But if you're like me and also want colour (including for photos), I think it's a good choice. The price for the printer itself seems pretty good to me.

2-0 out of 5 stars A Sneaky Printer
I bought this printer solely for the bluetooth functionality. I figured it was a little more expensive than some of the other similar models but the bluetooth would make up for the difference in price that I wouldn't have to spend on a USB cable. Bluetooth, however, is not built into the printer and requires a $50+ optional external device. This is a total bait and switch on behalf of canon. Don't let this happen to you. ... Read more

I had this video camera for a while and so far it has meet my expectations considering the price.I did not go for a DVD video camera because the price is still high considering the lower image quality. Also do not expect to record quality clips or pictures using the SD card. It is just a gimmick
5-0 out of 5 stars GOOD CAMERA,,,butyou need some basic PC skills and common sense
This camera is great and intuitive...tons of features,,if you reduce the shutter speed it works well in low light conditions. If you are a complete moron like the guy above YOU WILL have problems with this camera. The instructions are pretty clear how to connect to a PC, but you need some basic skills.
5-0 out of 5 stars Great camcorder for a great price
First off, I have ALWAYS loved Canon products and this camcorder is no exception. The documentation regarding transferring video to your computer is a little lacking but if you have a firewire card (or if you don't, you can get one from ebay for less than $20), it is Windows that does the actual transferring so it's pretty automatic. The camcorder is very intuative and it takes no time at all to start shooting like a pro (ok, maybe not a pro, but plenty good enough for the home user).Originally I was disappointed with the indoor shots but switching to night mode definitely cleaned up the image alot.I look forward to bringing this camcorder to Canada and Nigara Falls next month to record my honeymoon (well, not ALL of my honeymoon ;) ) ...

4-0 out of 5 stars smaller than a Video Ipod (5G)
The Sd40 is now out for $350.
