Just arrived via UPS from Amazon. Not damaged.Worked.Handsome product. So far, so good.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Scanner
I have scanned about 2,000 slides into my Macintosh computer. The results are excellent and the capability of doing 12 35 mm slides in a batch reduces the amount of time required.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Scanner
I have had great success with the 9950F. The only problem I had was after the first time I used the scanner. I couldn't find it in my computer. The manuals etc., after loading software placed them on my desktop, but the scanner wasn't there. I hunted and hunted, then decided to put it in search and my computer searched all drives and it couldn't find it either. So I decided to reload the software and it came up already loaded, but the manuals etc. which were on the Desktop and would open when clicked, said they weren't loaded and they recommended loading this software. Anyway, after frustratingly searching, I accidentally found the 9950F under Import in Adobe Photoshop Elements II, Elements came with the scanner. Hope this tip helps someone else. The first thing I scanned, was a 35mm negative, 100 ASA Fuji film, which I enlarged to a 13X19 print; it is excellent. You can't tell it wasn't printed 10 years ago by a professional lab, before all this new technology. I highly recommend this scanner. Also be sure and place black paper over open spaces after loading negs or slides, as the instructions recommend. The scan goes much faster. I tried a shortcut and used the cover of a notebook and it left some open spaces and this took extra time. I bought some black paper and placed it at right angles so all open areas were covered. This sped up the scanning process immensely. I used an Epson scanner at our local library. It was a 2400X4800 dpi and it did a nice job. I read reviews for months before I parted with the cash for my own scanner and I am very pleased with my choice. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars After 2 years of use, its STILL a 5 star printer
I've had my i9900 for almost two years now.I've printed everything from 4x6 glossy prints to 13x19 fine art prints on matte paper. The short review:This printer is amazing.Read on for a longer review.
1-0 out of 5 stars Great if you only want it for a year
I bought this printer and it was great for a year. The photo printing quality was excellent. It was fast etc. Then it died, Canon service misdiagnosed the burnt board as a power supply issue first then wanted $300 for the repair. Others have reported the same here and elsewhere. Buyer beware on this one.

5-0 out of 5 stars Absolutely great printer
This is an amazing printer. It is very easy to set up (takes about 10 minutes) and performs almost instantly.I have a mac and I'm always skeptical about adding new printer drivers, but this worked out easily enough.I'm sure it does work, but the firewire connection on my computer didn't read the printer. However, it worked like a charm when I plugged in the USB cable.

2-0 out of 5 stars Not very impressed at all!!!!
This camera takes decent pictures half of the time, the rest suck!!The colors are off, people look darker then they are.Maybe the flash is not strong enough.I have seen pictures from 4 different occasions, mostly indoor, and 1/3 to 1/2 of the pictures come out right. It has an impressive list of features and I really like the design. I did a lot of research before getting it and looked at all the pictures online, but I am not very satisfied with it.I have used a Kodak, Olympus and a Nikon in the past and liked the picture quality on all of them, but the pictures from this camera do not come close to the other ones.

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome camera!
I'm 45 years old and have owned two cameras in my life. So I guess that doesn't make me an expert or anything. My previous camera was a Canon Powershot film camera, purchased 17 years ago for about $150 at Target. And it still works great. People always have said, "That camera takes great pictures." I felt like a genius, but really just bought it because it was on sale. After finally converting over to Macs and loving the iPhoto software, I decided to go digital. I automatically started looking at Canons because of the years of pleasure my other Canon gave me. I stumbled across this camera at Amazon and figured a 4.5 star average rating with 199 customer reviews had to mean it was decent. And I also read great reviews of it elsewhere. So I decided to take the plunge. Funny thing...I must've got one of the last ones of these that Amazon itself was selling. Because the price on the descriptioin page when I went to put it in my cart was $329.99. But when I added it to my cart, the price changed to $214.99...and I have no idea why. I was worried that I was gonna get some camera that was returned or something, but the customer service rep at Amazon said that that wasn't the case...that mine was a brand new camera. When it came, sure enough...it was brand new. I've only used it for about 5 days, but I love everything about it. Even the 2" screen seems plently big enough for me. The pictures are fabulous. And I was able to start taking pix right out of the box. The only thing I had to consult the manual for was how to set the time and date. Other than that, at least on the AUTO setting, it's just point and shoot. And the pix upload beautifully into my Mac PowerBook's iPhoto library. The best part, in my opinion, about using this camera with a Mac? I didn't even have to load the multiple software packages that came with the Canon camera. iPhoto handles most everything, and what it doesn't I can do in Photoshop. This is a great camera, which I think has been replaced by the A630. But I don't care! I got a great deal and love the A620. The only caveat? Buy yourself a good set of rechargeable NiMH batteries and a quality charger, like I did. Using regular AA batteries may end up costing a lot in the long run. I'd recommend the Canon A620 to anyone looking for a mid-range, quality digital camera. Look around for bargain prices on the web, though. There may be places blowing these out to make room for the A630.

2-0 out of 5 stars Not very good
OK, I've spent years using a nice film camera -- solid body, good, interchangeable lenses, etc. -- so maybe I'm biased, but this camera just doesn't do it for me.

1-0 out of 5 stars TERRIBLE RELIABILITY
Even though I have used my printer (a Pixma 5000) very lightly, it jams regularly on Canon photo paper and then spills ink everywhere. Today it went into "service error 5700" and it doesn't work any more, even after rebooting it five times.

3-0 out of 5 stars Great--but watch ink prices!!!
This product is the best multifunction inkjet printer on the market, bar none.It is a great update to Canon's MP780, in that print and scan speeds have increased, and the scanner scans both sides of a document at once, which is super.Based on its features and performance, it is a 5 out of 5 stars product.Nothing else comes close.
4-0 out of 5 stars Very Good MultiFunction Printer - Recomended
A short review here. I've had this printer for about 8 months now and have been very impressed. All aspects of the printer work quite well and photos also come out good looking even though that's not this printer's main purpose. Installation went well and I have had no reliability issues with it over the last 8 months. That time includes several semesters with a lot of printing done for grad school.

Editorial Review

The advanced PIXMA MP800 Photo All-In-One delivers spectacular Print Copy-Scan performance. It produces an amazing resolution of up to 9,600 x 2,400 color dpi, for remarkable detail and clarity. To achieve this, Canon Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering (FINE) uses a next-generation 3,584-nozzle print head that ejects precise, consistent droplets as small as one picoliter. The result? Smoother, virtually grain-free images. Also, our ContrastPLUS five-color ink system--four dye-based inks and a pigment-based black ink--produces true-life photos with a wide color palette, along with laser-quality text. What about speed? A 4"x 6" photo lab quality borderless photo takes approximately 36 seconds. Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Printer; VERY ANNOYING Messages re: Ink Cartridges
I have no complaints about the output I receive from this new all-purpose Canon Printer. What I find VERY ANNOYING, however, are the frequent error messages about the various ink cartridges, all of which are Canon brand.Without warning, I will receive error messages, for example, that the printer detects more than one "magenta" cartridge, when, in fact, there is only one magenta cartridge.I then remove the "blinking" magenta cartidge and place it back in the appropriate magenta printer cartridge slot.Sometimes, the same error message immediately reappears.Other times, I immediately receive another error message about another cartridge being, either missing or present more than once.Sometimes, the printer works fine.If I receive an error message, I immediately remedy the problem and then hope for the best. This is increasingly annoying and definitely detracts from my overall satisfaction with the printer.I contacted Canon phone support about this and their response is to send me replacement "magenta" and "black -No. 5" cartridges. While I appreciate receiving the new cartridges, this will not remedy the underlying problem. If others have had this problem, please write a review, especially if there is a solution!

Worked twice, then started flashing alert light, and screen displayed japanese text.Could not get the machine to ever do anything again.$50.00 to send it back, no charge to throw in the dumpster and try a different brand.Wow, Cannon used to be so good. What happened?!Stay away from this one ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Love the Full Frame Sensor, but......
This is an excellent camera.I upgraded from the EOS 20D which was also a great camera.I upgraded for a couple of reasons. The first was the Full Frame sensor. The EOS 20D has a 1.6X crop factor which effects your lenses overall focal length. On the EOS 5D you get the true focal length of your attached lens.Just like film SLR cameras.Awesome! The one problem I've noticed with the Full Frame sensor on the EOS 5D is it is huge. When you are changing lenses this sensor picks up every little piece of dust, dirt and fibers like a vacuum. I'm constantly cleaning the sensor with a blower.I also had to bring it to a Canon service center. Just to remove some of the dust off the sensor that my blower could not remove. The Canon service center was very far from my home.(Very annoying).I never experienced this problem with the EOS 20D.But, the images you get from the full frame sensor are far superior to the smaller sensor on the EOS 20D.
5-0 out of 5 stars Buy it for image quality at every ISO setting
After 3 decades as a Nikon 35mm film 'loyalist', a co-worker let me test drive his Canon 5D, Canon EF 16-35mm f2.8L USM and SanDisk Extreme III 2 GB card.
5-0 out of 5 stars The bargain digital full frame camera
If you've been considering a digital full frame camera (and who hasn't?) this is the one that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.Now that Kodak is out of the picture, your choices are the EOS 5D or the 1DS Mark II, which costs more than twice as much.

5-0 out of 5 stars the last great printer still available without "chips" on the ink
If you are one that wants to save lots of money and have a quality printer at the same time, this is the only model left at a reasonable price that allows one to easily swap ink with aftermarket ink. Take that to the bank as you buy this printer as a year from now these will be selling for $150-$200 on ebay.
4-0 out of 5 stars Quality is good
I am pleased with the Canon Pixma, the only problem I have experienced (I am using it to do edible imaging on cakes) is that the pictures tend to come out a little on the red side, so I have to 'turn down' the redness in the printer box. I don't know if that would be true if I were using traditional photo paper or not. It's a good printer though. I am glad I bought it. All of the people I have done cakes for with it have been satisfied!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Picture Quality
I owned, and loved, a powershot A400 so it was an easy decision to upgrade to the 430 when I wanted to move to a higher resolution camera.I actually purchased 4 (yes I was that impressed with my old A400) with the other 3 being Christmas gifts for my family.
3-0 out of 5 stars Nice, Average Camera
I bought this camera for my boyfriend for Christmas because it was affordable and it was a Canon! It takes great pics and videos (though I still can't figure out how to add sound). It has a defect though I'm afraid. It won't turn on until we flip the batteries.I'm sure its a minor thing and it really doesn't affect anything. It runs batteries down pretty quickly, but it's small, compact, and takes amazing pics!

1-0 out of 5 stars fragile
Bought this for my 14 yr old son. He dropped it on carpet last weekend with the telephoto lens out (taking video) and that was it. It may be inexpensive to buy, but it sure wasn't inexpensive to fix (warranty doesn't cover it). We were hoping for a little more than 4 months use. I am afraid of the lens problem Canon seems to have, but it took really nice pics and was easy for a kid (and non-digital parent) to use. Wish Canon wouldn't use cheapo plastic on otherwise great camera. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Simple, fine printer.
It is exactly what I expected in that, I wanted a printer with the simplest function and inexpensive.
2-0 out of 5 stars You get what you pay for...
I bought this printer because I wanted high quality photo printing and I didn't need any of the bells and whistles that come with more expensive printers. It's a Canon, so I figured I could count on the photo quality. I was terribly disappointed though. I generally buy Staples brand photo paper for general photo printing, and it always worked fine with my Epson printer. But my first prints on this printer looked dull and muddy -- like I was looking at the images though a mild but annoying grey/brown haze. So I went out and bought Canon paper instead. The quality was somewhat improved, but still not what I had expected. So yes, I got a printer for under $30, but now to get even passably OK prints, I need to spend a fortune on Canon brand inks and paper. Not much of a bargain.

3-0 out of 5 stars Great printer, but mine jammed and broke in 2 mos.
Awesome printer, awesome price.I'd give it 5 stars if it didn't jam and become unusable. If no one else had this problem, then maybe it's random and normal. The thing is, this printer was so cheap, it doesn't bother me too much.Oh, and it works great with Mac. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Crops pictures severely!
This unit is easy to use and makes great looking prints however as my wife found out after her first weekend trip with it, it crops off the top and bottom of the picture file.I bought her the package which included the Canon 520 camera and this printer. She printed out pictures of people and found the tops of heads cutoff. The reason is the proportions of the sensor on the camera are more square than4x6 so the printer just cuts off the top and bottom of the digital picture file.No warning in the manual, no way to print the full picture file on a 4x6 paper by leaving space at the ends.Nice work Canon!

5-0 out of 5 stars Cheap, easy, small, nice photos!
This is a great printer for people who want something inexpensive and easy to use.You can be printing within 15 minutes after opening the box!The printer is small and lightweight and could be easily carried in a camera bag.Photos produced are very nice!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great little printer
For the price I paid, $25, this is a great little printer. We've had tons of printers...my husband is a professional photographer and these prints satisfy even him (for our family pics). We got this printer mainly because I'm tired of our digital camera and the pics being buried in a photo program.I'd even yearned for a good old 35mm film camera until we got this little printer. It's

4-0 out of 5 stars Giant Software Program
Huge software program, around 460 Mb. to install.
5-0 out of 5 stars Nice scanner
I researched this scanner in August at Canon's website, and all of the info on it sounded very appealing to me, and I bought one the first week they came out in September. I've had two Visioneer scanners and have used someone else's Visioneer's 7300 USB scanner on occasion and I had been looking into possibly buying one of those instead, and I was a little apprehensive about buying any other brand, but the CanoScan LiDE70 way beats them hands down in regard to clarity and quality of the scan, and I'm glad I bought one over the Visioneer 7300 USB, as this CanoScan LiDE70 is far superior, IMO.
5-0 out of 5 stars One Great Scanner
I spotted this model on the Canon website before it was released.I ordered it from Amazon as soon as it hit the shelves. This scanner is small, and USB powered helping me limit the ammount of wires around my desk. The resolution is phenomenal and the software is more than user friendly.I get great results using it through Adobe Photoshop CS2.The OmniPage software that comes with it is a great help scanning my college books and converting them into text I can use in emails or reports.Sure there are other, cheaper scanners with less than stellar abilities, but at that price you can buy a scanner that won't be outdated within the years to come. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Entry Level Camcorder
For the money, this camcorder is a best buy. It covers all the basics and then some. Battery life is good, plus you can snag plenty of deals on aftermarket batteries for this puppy. It uses the same battery as the Canon Rebel Digital XT (350).
4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent digital camcorder at a great price!
I've owned my ZR 500 now for about two weeks, so I have yet to really delve deeply into all that it can do. It is my first digital camcorder I've ever owned.
5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent and highly recommended!
This is an excellent camcorder which is not only affordable but also has so many options and extras. I wanted to give it as a gift but my wife and I liked it so much that we decided to keep it because it is very cute, light, stylish, boosts great zoom and the quality is excellent. Overall we are very pleased with it and highly recommend it. ... Read more

The PIXMA iP6600D Photo Printer is a photo-printing powerhouse, with incredible quality and high end convenience. It delivers an amazing resolution of up to 9,600 x 2,400 dpi, for detail and clarity that will surpass your expectations. To achieve this, Canon Full-photolitho-graphy Inkjet Nozzle Engineering (FINE) uses a next-generation 3,072-nozzle print head that ejects precise, consistent droplets as small as one picoliter. Plus, we've added high intensity photo cyan and photo magenta to the conventional four inks, to increase the accuracy of color values. Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars An excellent printer, look no further!
I just purchased this printer last night and was stunned at the image quality. Granted, I shoot with a Canon Digital Rebel XTi which produces amazing pictures at 10 megapixels, but this printer lives up to those great shots and prints brilliant pictures. I am surprised at the previous reviewer's comment about not being as good as Costco printing. I've also doneall my printing there and I would say this is as good, if not better than Costco. This could be due to using high quality Canon paper, but looking at some of these shots, I can't honestly imagine them getting any better. I know Canon has a new 9500 printer coming out in the spring that will do up to 13 inch wide paper, but I couldn't wait and going to Costco all the time was getting annoying, as convinient as it really is. I am so glad I spent what I consider to be a very reasonable amount of money (130 dollars) on this printer, now I'll only be going to Costco for the 12x18's. The printer is VERY easy to use. I printed right off the Compact Flash card using the printer's on-board screen and did plenty of cropping and trimming to make the shots perfect and centered. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. I was printing perfectly within 15 minutes of opening the box. The screen and menus make it so easy and convinient, I haven't even needed to use the computer to print yet. I would highly recomend this printer to anyone who wants stunning prints up to 8.5x11, you will not be dissapointed, it's truly a top-notch printer!

2-0 out of 5 stars Red color problem
The photo output of this printer is really quite good except for one GLARING problem - the overwhelming redness of flesh tones.A lot of pictures of the baby are coming out like he's scalded or badly sunburned. This leads to a tremendous waste of paper and ink, not to mention effort in trying to adjust for this problem.Even a call to Canon TS didn't solve anything.Apparently, I'm not the only one with this problem.I would love to return this printer if I could...Too bad I stocked up on a bunch of Canon paper already.Any suggestions for a fix (besides the usual calibration, red tone slider, etc.)?I would love to try the MP series, but this experience has really soured me on Canon printers (I love their digital cameras though - bought 3 within the last year).
5-0 out of 5 stars CAN'T GET ANY BETTER THEN THIS!!!!!!!!!!
I love it...The print quality is amazing looking. Im very pleased with the print plus color quality of pictures. If you're buying a printer for the first time i would highly recommend a canon but also this one because you will love it! I have alse compared pri
