4-0 out of 5 stars Super photo quality but not very flexible...
My friends are always commenting on the quality of the photos printed out on our Olympus photo printer. They really look like they came back from the photo shop. They are cosmically better than what you can get from your old inkjet, even if you print inkjet pictures on nice paper.5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent
I have had this printer for quite a while now. It prints unbelievable pictures that compare to the Kodak photo lab. After I am done taking my shots with my Olympus C-3030zoom camera I insert the smartmedia card directly into the printer, then I plug the printers video output into my television. This printer has some really neat editing features that can be used without your computer. Of course it works really well with my computer. All around it is a really excellent product. I have been impressing my neighbors, and family with this printer. I am getting ready to sell off my regular film eqipment. I just aquired an Olympus P400 digital printer, and all I can say is OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH MY................................. ... Read more

Olympus Accura Viewzoom 120 QD features a large, illuminated real-image zoom viewfinder with a magnification of up to 2x. This gives you a bright, easy-to-see image of your subject. The viewfinder also provides you with illuminated indicators, located just inside the window of the viewfinder. These conveniently placed indicators are superimposed over your scene; they let you confirm camera functions, such as shutter release, focusing, and flash readiness, while you're setting up your shot. The indicators also tell you when the shutter is released, or if your subject is out of focus or close up.Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars OLYMPUS BUILDS GREAT PROFESIONAL SLR
I OWN AN E10 , E20 AND E1 . THEY ALL PRODUCE THE FINEST IMAGES I'VE EVER PRODUCED I'VE WORKED IN A STUDIO FOR 30 YEARS AND USED MANY CAMERAS INCLUDING AS LARGE 11 X 14 VUE CAMERAS . THE IMAGE QUALITY OF THESE CAMERAS IS HARD TO BEAT-THIS IS A GOOD CHOICE FOR ANYONE WHO IS WILLING TO READ THE MANUAL.-- THE OPTICS ARE THE( BEST ) I'VE EVER HAD.INCLUDING NIKON OR CANON.IF I HAD TO PICK ONE IT WOULD BE THE E1 BECAUSE OF THE CHOICE OF OPTICS BUT FOR ALL AROUND WORK ITS A DRAW.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Buy at twice the price.
At least that is what I paid for the camera. I do most of my shots in camera raw which gives me aproximately 26 pictures on a 256 mg card. Excelent camera for use with Photoshop CS. Flash is weak for any type of professional use. Optics are excellent. The camera gives you the option to point and shoot or have complete control of all aspects of the picture. Untill the price comes down below 10K for a good digital back for my 2 1/4 in cameras, this is a top choice to use. The only thing better today is the E-1 which was not out when I purchased this camera.

3-0 out of 5 stars Ok for beginners
This product is of moderate capabilities. It's a comfortable fit for beginners and intermediates alike.I wouldn't recommend using this camera for other purposed than pictures on vacation.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great compact camera, but heavy on the battery use
When using the recommended film (400), this camera takes excellent pictures. It is also lightweight and simple to use. However, i changed batteries 3 times in a 3 week period when i took 9 rolls of 24. I thinkthat is a little excessive. If you are willing to keep spare batteries inyour case, then go ahead and buy this great camera.

2-0 out of 5 stars Not that great of a camera : it's my second Olympus
the AA batteries go out with one roll on average.. this is such a disadvantage...i also have an Olympus Stylus 70 mm and it takes much better pictures...it is clearear by a longshot... don't invest in this camera ... pay up a little for picutres you'll treasure fora lifetime.. ... Read more

The Olympus Accura Viewzoom 90 QD uses a real-image viewfinder, with an in-focus indicator, so you'll always know exactly how your picture is framed. The increased magnification of up to 2x gives you a larger and brighter area to frame and view your subject. An indicator is visible inside the viewfinder allowing you to confirm camera operations such as focus accuracy, flash readiness, and shutter release. For added convenience, both the viewfinder and the indicator are illuminated, letting you see clearly whether it's night or day, while the dioptic correction feature lets you adjust the viewfinder focus to suit your individual eye requirements.Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A very handy camera
I purchased this camera because I wanted a small camera to take with me on rainy days or when I did not want to carry around my Pentax P3 or my Nikon FG-20 and various lens.I was skeptical about how well this camera would meet my diserning eye, but I thought for the price, and that it had been refurbished, it was worth a try.My husband and I went to Harper's Ferry for our honeymoon and spent 2 days taking pictures by the two rivers and of the church.Because of the heat, I opted to leave my good cameras behind and just take this little Olympus, knowing this would be a once in a life time opportunity and that camera needed to do well! When we got the prints back, and it really makes a difference where you get your photos developed!, the quality and clarity of the photos were excellent.I really do enjoy having a small camera so I able to relax and enjoy the hike and also trust that my photos will be clear and sharp.I am pleased with the one that I have purchased.

1-0 out of 5 stars Bad choice
I have always heard good things about the Olympus brand so I assumed when I bought this camera that I would be happy with it.Three weeks after purchasing it the zoom quit working.I called the Olympus customer service but I found then very unhelpful.I brought it back to the store and exchanged it for a new one of the exact same model.I immediatly put batteries in and tried it out but this one was broke too with the same problem! So, two cameras in a row were broke, one after three weeks, one already when I purchased it.I finally took it back to the store and exchanged it for a different brand of camera.I'm not impressed with this camera!4-0 out of 5 stars Great camera
I recieved this camera for Christmas, and have had the opportunity to use it in diverse situations.Consistent with my experience with Olympus products, it is easy to use and takes sharp, well exposed pictures.Olympus is known for making sharp lenses, even in lower priced cameras, and this one doesn't dissapoint. It is bigger than many other point and shoot cameras, but I prefer having something a little bigger. There have been some complaints about the date imprinting, I also don't like it, but it can be turned off.Read the instruction manual, it's not hard to do.Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent go-anywhere camera
Bought this for my wife for a when she went down to assist in the Hurricane Katrina cleanup in Sept. of 2005.Everyone in the family loves this camera. It is small, lightweight, takes very nice pictures and has a huge screen. The battery lasts much longer than many digital cameras I have used.
2-0 out of 5 stars NEVER use the movie mode on this camera!
I have probably spent 50-60 hours trying to convert my digital movies recorded on this camera to dvd. I am not technically-savvy, so I expected to spend some time, but this is ridiculous. I finally got the imagemixer software (included on the Olympus Master disc)to burn a dvd, but the sound is just a high pitched squeak at the beginning of each clip. So irritating. I tried converting the quick time movies into mpeg-4 using cucusoft and burning a disc with nero express 6, but the quality was so poor, I didn't even bother to burn the dvd.
4-0 out of 5 stars Olympus IR-500 in Barbados
I have owned this camera now for 1 week and it's amazing!!

2-0 out of 5 stars 17.5-45mm Oh No!
Even though this was remanufactured, the camera arrived in excellent condition.Unfortunately, the camera did not come as advertised. The camera was falsely advertised as having a 14-45mm lense. What you really get is a 17.5-45mm made in China cheap throw-away lense! This is not your typical Japan made high quality lense that is available in a new kit.
1-0 out of 5 stars Wrong Lens in the Box!!! Feels being Cheated!!
The package has the worng lens 17.5mm - 45mm lens wherein you are supposed to get 14mm-45mm lens. The lens are cheap made in china andlowest quality. Amazon.com must note, that they are cheating their customer with wrong information.

5-0 out of 5 stars GREAT CAMERA
i see that many other people here have had problems with things breaking, but i've had this camera for three years and i've dropped it a lot, it's gotten submerged in water, and it's still great as ever. no problems with the color of the photos either.3-0 out of 5 stars Light and Small, but not very sturdy
I've owned Nikons all my life, so maybe my standards are too high, but this camera has some problems. The camera I purchased came with an artistic condition called "Light leak", which puts a beautiful white arc on some of the pictures. It also takes very, very blue pictures. The shots look great on an island, but not in the snow.My boyfriend used this camera and I used my own Nikon to take the same shots, and his were much bluer. We both used Kodak film and got it developed at the same place. I also agree with the flimsy comment down below, and I don't understand how Olympus can claim this is a water resistant camera, if light is getting through to the film it can't be air-tight.Despite the drawbacks, it is the smallest and lightest 35mm camera I have ever seen. The slide-across lens cover is great, b/c it means you don't need a case for the camera.I'll be buying another one to replace this broken one, and hoping for the best.

5-0 out of 5 stars The most stylish point and shoot.
Too bad Amazon didn't list all the features this camera has. It has lot more than the regular Stylus 35mm-80mm which is one of the best compact cameras. For those who wonder why this costs more!! Here are the reasons why this is lot better value than the regular 35mm-80mm Stylus.

2-0 out of 5 stars Good for beginners but very limited nonetheless
The C2500 is good if you plan to move from the snap-and-shot world towards some SLR features, the very basic ones. The camera as tradition from Olympus, produces outstanding pictures bearing in mind its sensor has got only 2.5 Megapixels. Do not expect miracles from that point of view, your prints will be of reasonable quality up to 6x4 inches, which might be fine for the average customer.
5-0 out of 5 stars Super Cool Beans
I just opened the camera package last night, and within acouple of hours I was experimenting with most of the features of thecamera. When people talk of digital cameras they love to talk numbers, but who cares? It's what you can do with it that matters.I took a picture of a dark hallway with the flourecent bathroom lights on, and it looked like something out of The Shining. It was dark and foggy outside, but with the aperture full open, ISO 400, and the shutter open for 8 seconds I was able to take pictures of the buildings and night lights. The camera is so light I didn't have to use a stand (at 8 seconds you have to be as steady as a sharpshooter, though... be sure to hold our breath).Using the flash, with the spot metering and the aperture closed I was able to take a crisp, detailed picture of our dog in the midst of the night, doing dog things. With the multiple picture thing I took 5 pictures of my friend in a row waving his arms, and the sequence of where his arm is going is clear when viewing the 9 pictures at one time from the LCD.I'm also going to throw out my slow ... scanner, which I was using for sending faxes. I took a picture of a page from Webster's collegiate dictionary, and it was readable from the LCD!5-0 out of 5 stars This camera is simply amazing
I love this this camera. The pictures quality is excellent. The ease of use is 5 star.It comes with 32Meg flash, it's good for 50 pictures. Has easy dial for auto, semi-auto and manual modes. I took 50 pictures first day I got it.All 50 were excellent quality, compare to my "old"sony PC1 digital video recorder. Down load to my portable is easy withcompact flash, if you don't forget toput 2 batteries included withcompact flash.Camera also comes with batteries, and recharger. Read more
