3-0 out of 5 stars What Are You Going To Do?
I own the Konica Minolta A200 camera and picked up four spare NP-800 batteries that I use in rotation. This battery is rated for around 260 images, though I average around 175 - even with minimal flash usage, using only the viewfinder, and the lowest power saving setting on the camera.I get less with flash and/or LCD usage.I do feel that the price on these are far beyond reasonable for their performance level and size - but that's what you get with proprietary batteries.I understand you may be able to use another manufacturer's less expensive battery in this camera, though I didn't want to risk it with a $600+ investment.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent quality for reasonable price
Don't know what happened with the guy below, sounds like he got a lemon. You won't get a better lens in this range for the minolta without finding one of the older G lenses that costs about three times as much. The 2.8 coupled with the antishake of the minolta 5d or 7d makes for some of the best handheld low light photography available anywhere.Focus is quick, photos are crisp, zoom is smooth.

4-0 out of 5 stars Suprising quality for the price
Well-built lens. It provides excellent sharpness (after I sent my 7D in for an autofocus issue) even wide-open and has reasonably fast focusing. The zoom ring is a lot stiffer than my old Maxxum lenses, but is smooth and the barrel doesn't creep when the camera is pointed down. A fair trade. I use it as a people lens at family gatherings and wedding receptions where it's f2.8 constant maximum aperture works well with the camera's stabilization to keep flash usage to a polite minimum. I took a star off only because I wish the wide end was 24 mm instead of 28.

2-0 out of 5 stars Not Happy
I have tried this lense and could not get satisfactoryresults from it. The zoom barrel is tight and don't give you nice feeling, It seems like you are using a ver cheap lense.

5-0 out of 5 stars great item at a great price
its very lightweight, yet seems to have the protection my camera needs, i think the only downside is the the top shoulder (corners) are exposed, but i just wanted to protect my lcd so thats why i gave it 5 stars.

4-0 out of 5 stars Camera Case for Dimage X, Xi, XG, X31, X50 & X60 Digital Cameras
Good padding to protect the camera.Small & lightweight. The only negative is no zipper pocket for extra falsh card or battery.

5-0 out of 5 stars If you're looking for protection for your X50, this is it
This case suits my needs just right.I needed protection for the camera and nothing else - no battery or SD card pocket - and that's what I got.No extra bulk.It looks good and feels good. The price was right, but the shipping cost was almost as much. However, since the two together cost less than what I saw at a retail store, it was definitely worth it.Plus, the Konica Minolta logo is on it.My only concern is that the case has a magnetic latch. But I guess the magnet isn't strong enough since it hasn't affected the pictures (or my credit cards that sit next to it in my bag). There is a hook on the case which I attach the camera to so I won't lose the case. I definitely recommend this case. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Great zoom lens for closeups
I bought this about 2 years ago to take some family pictures. It is a great lens that allows you to get up close and personal with your shots.
5-0 out of 5 stars Great for a second lens
I bought this for my QTsi camera. It is a great second lens for this camera. If you want to take professional looking photographs, using this lens with a tripod will give you remarkable results. Be sure to set the camera on the photograph setting. This lens is also great for taking those far off pictures, (the ones that are over before you run and get there). Be sure to set your camera for action to help compensate for camera or subject movement for those far off shots.Great also for capturing those special moments at sporting events or concerts, even when you have nose-bleed seats. The AF function helps capture special moments without having to constantly adjusting the lens focus. You can also turn off the AF and take some artistic shots, even if you have never used a SLR camera before.Minolta has come up with a wonderful system that makes taking excellent and exciting photographs easy for everyone.

5-0 out of 5 stars It's a pice of gold
I bought Maxxum 7D because I already own a set of Maxxum lenses with my previous film camera. However, because digital camera increase 1.5 times of the lens' focal length, I needed a wide angle lens.I bought this one by reading only one user review (from J. Wood) that I could find on the net. But, boy, it is a pice of gold!It gives you a high quality look as well as beautiful pictures.
5-0 out of 5 stars Amazing how versatile and sharp this lens is
I bought this lens after I got the Maxxum 7D when it came out. I hemmed and hawed as to whether I needed the extra-wide zoom, especially since I had spent almost $2000 on the body alone.I am so glad I decided to spend the money and buy this lens. My husband and I went to Japan in March and April and I estimate I used this lens about 85% of the shots I took. It is great in low-light, and combined with the integrated anti-shake in the D7, my photos are tack-sharp, even at night. The lens is not light, but it is solid and I can't rave about it enough. Unlike a lot of camera equipment I have purchased in the past, I have never for a moment regretted buying this lens. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Too large for X60
Fits, but there is a gap on either side.I'm returning it; makes the X60 look ugly!
5-0 out of 5 stars The case works just fine
I did get the case that is pictured, and for the price, it's more than fine (believe me - I've done a lot of shopping for various cases recently). The strap goes through a hole in the center of the top of the case, which I thought would really bother me.Turns out its pretty easy to thread the strap through it, as well as remove the strap from it to pull the camera out of the case. The snap uses magnetic attraction to assist in closure, so beware to have it around anything that can be demagnatized. There's a clip on the back that you have to apply quite a bit of pressure on in order to open the clip in the traditional way - not a good idea if your camera is in the case; I just use my fingers to pull open the base of the clip, and since I don't use the clip much, it's no big deal. The case is adequately protective - leather with a soft lining.[I purchased a bulkier case for using on serious hikes (a Tamrac #5690).]The camera fits well into its allotted slot. There is a front pocket, which can fit an extra battery and an SD card in its protective plastic case, but even just with that battery there, it's a tad harder to close the camera case, with the camera inside...will probably get easier once the leather loosens up.There's also a short, stretchy slip pocket within the front pocket that I would probably never use. It's a handsome case, and it's nice to have a case with a name on it that matches the name of your camera. It would have been nice to have gotten the camera with a case provided, but gone are the days...

1-0 out of 5 stars Item looks nothing like shown in image

3-0 out of 5 stars Love having this cord
Although I do not use the camera to transfer my files at this time, I do use it to view images and video clips on TV, as well as copy them onto DVDs.Using this adapter means I don't have to rely on battery power to do so, which would run the risk of data loss should the battery give out.I'm giving the unit 3.5 instead of 5 stars, because it doesn't seem to be made as sturdily as most adapters are.Additionally and as an FYI, the AC-4 adapter I received does not look like the one in Amazon photo (maybe it's a newer version?)...it is lacking the two built in shields, having one TDK ferrite snap bead instead. Also, the metal prongs that go into the wall outlet protrude from the end of the unit, not from its backside. It's 4.5 inches from the tip of the metal prongs to the other side of the adapter where the cord can safely start to bend. That's QUITE a bit of clearance that's needed, so you will need to use a well-exposed wall outlet to use this adapter without an extension cord of some sort.Still, I'm pleased as punch to have it.

1-0 out of 5 stars What's the purpose?
The AC-4 willl power your Dimage camera, BUT IT WILL NOT CHARGE THE BATTERY!So, if you take all of your picture within 5 feet of an outlet than this is the product for you.If, say, you go outdoors on occasion you will need the BC-300 charger.

5-0 out of 5 stars gotta get one
