Pleased with my charger
I have used this a couple of times with my batteries and have had no problem.I do wait until the batteries are completely exhausted before recharging. I've never used the charger just to "refresh" the batteries. My only suggestion is a better way to tell you the batteries are charged. There is a blinking light on the charger and I think it should stop blinking when they are fully charged similar to a cell phone.

Disappointing and frustrating product
This product is just awful. The batteries don't take very long to charge, but once they're in my camera, I can only take about 15 or 20 pictures before the juice runs out. And if I charge the batteries, put them in the camera, but don't use it right away, the next time I turn it on I have a low battery. It's been extremely frustrating, and I am definitely going to try a different brand. Anything would be better than this.

Nice little case for a great camera
I bought this case to keep my Coolpix 880 safe and so far it has done a decent job of that.The only complaints are that when you insert the camera into the bag, the mode dial on the top gets turned by friction.If you have a battery or couple of compactflash cards in the zippered pouch, it'll even turn the power dial on - bad news when you have the lens cap on.The case also needs a long NECK STRAP.Who wants to look like a dork and use the belt attachment on the back?!I'd get a different case if it was designed for the 880.

I am a physician who uses the Coolpix 880 for my clinical work.I am constantly on the go and have several locations where I see patients.The carrying case for the coolpix is ideal since it has a belt attachment that allows for easy transport and instant access for the critical clinical photos that I take.The waterproof case is also a plus for those of us who take our cameras on outdoor birding trips that not only protect the camera but give quick access for the once in a lifetime shots.

The Phamon WP-CP4
This is a fine sturdy well built case good for underwater use and to use to protect your Nikon Coolpix 7900 or 5900 from water damage.With this case one can take it near water, on a boat and not have to worry about water damage.
great stuff
I tested it off of Florida, it worked well.I used a lot diving a week in Roatan.It worked great, all the button are available including the rotating top scene choices.The desiccant and case / o-ring worked perfectly to keep the camera dry.I could operate most controls with one hand, hitting the menu to switch to close-up, then turning on or off the flash, all with my thumb.Handy when holding a dive light in the other hand on night dives.It's small enough to push into hard to reach places or HOPE for that side shot when you can't see the view finder (which seemed often in tight places for sea horses or juvenile drum fish and others.The case did it all and remained small (like the camera), this a was a great buy.

I ordered the camera for this months ago and since then this item has gone out of stock ALL OVER the internet.To the previous reviewer, do you have this housing??I know this review is not very helpful but the only advice I can offer is not to put all your eggs in one basket.Nikon.com says this was released years ago and yet there is not ONE place on the entire internet selling a new or used one.They all say out of stock with no sell dates in the near future...the camera is pretty useless to me without the underwater housing that I bought it with... ... perfect fit
You bought the Nikon 775 because it's small, light and will fit anywhere. This custom Nikon case fits the bill. It has one small storage pocket for a CF card and that's it. 775 fits snuggly inside and maintains the small size and light weight of this camera.The removable carrying cord can be trimmed to a shorter length. If you want a carrying case with lots of pckets etc this case is not for you.

A compact case for a compact camera.....
I considered generic "made for digital" camera cases from lowepro or tamrac; these are very well padded, have gorgeous fluffy linings and so offer excellent protection.BUT they are relatively large and the main reason I chose the Coolpix was its size - the Nikon case fits snuggly and adds little bulk. nikon filter
I found the filter to work nicely. It was delivered on time.The price was reasonable.

Essential
Polarization is about the only filter (except some with really tacky effects) which has not been successfully duplicated in image processing software.
NIkon does it again
Excellent craftsmanship, quality filter.If you have the camera and want the reflection reduction for shooting through glass underwater or into a "clear" container it does its job well.Also great for snow and regular outside/sunlight use.Increases contrast and color intensity.This filter will not work with the lens hood, but there is a nikon filter that will as well as other brand filters. ... Don't Buy With Coolpix 8700
Don't buy this if you are buying a 8700 - the filters are the wrong size and your left with a very expensive bag.The bag seems to be a good quality.The card reader is average.I can't comment on the filters (the primary reason I purchased this) because they don't fit.So, if your dropping the cash for the 8700 (I love it by the way), save about $50 and pick up a LowePro bag instead.

rugged and roomy
A good value if you need the filters and the USB compactflash reader/Writer. The filters must used with a UR-E6 adapter (around [good price]) if you want to use them on a Coolpix 5000. The USB compactflash reader/writer works fine, but aFireWire reader/writer is even quicker(around [a good price])The small leather case for Coolpix 5000(around [a little less]) fits in the large adjustable divider compartment very comfortably. There is room remaining for 2 or 3 lenses and a mini tripod in the large adjustable divider compartment. 2 fair sized latching side pockets and thin zippered divided front pocket can be used for whatever else you may like to have with your camera. I still suggest carrying your camera and case in a ugly worn Gym bag or something less attractive to deter theft.

Great Package deal
My first need after having the camera for one hour (dead batteries) was to invest in rechargeables. I also wanted to get a filter to protect the lense, and of couse I wanted to carry it around everywhere I went. If you were to purchase all of the items seperately (which you eventually would), it would cost much more than the Coolpack. It is three essential items, for a combined discounted price.

Coolpack Coolpix Kit
This bag is terrific! I use all of my accessories some of the time, but, this one I use All of the time. It's handy, has enough pockets and compartments to carry everything you need to have with you safely. It is lightweight and sturdy made as well as nicely padded. Only complaint is the charger and batteries.Mine didn't work at all.Still would recommend it even without getting that in the works.Lots of good stuff including the UV filter which I leave on all the time to help protect the lens.Great product!

Excellent Product!
This product is an excellent value! The camera bag is sturdy, yet light-weight and has lots of pockets for accessories. The rechargeable batteries and charger pack is definitely needed in the case of the Nikon Coolpix 990 given the amount of juice the flash uses. I have an extra set of batteries now and let one set charge while I use the other - very convenient!
