1-0 out of 5 stars Where is it?
They're ink tanks, so not much to say.But I purchased them on 07/04/2006 and as of one month later...no delivery.Amazon seems to have a stocking problem on this item.

5-0 out of 5 stars Canon printer ink
Excellent quality.A bit more expensive than the "compatible" brands, but worth it for the reliability.

5-0 out of 5 stars CANON INK WORTH THE MONEY
Recently, I tried to save money by buying off-brand ink tanks. Never again! One leaked and the other ran out in record time. I've learned that paying a little more for the printer manufacturer's ink is cheaper in the long run. After all, they design the printer to work best with their ink, so why take chances? ... 1-0 out of 5 stars A cheaply-made but necessary accessory
This is first Canon product that has disappointed me with its quality. They must acquire them from their Chinese supplier for about 98 cents. This plastic device wobbles even when fully rotated to the detente position. I bought it to use with the Canon 250D close-up lens and it's barely adequate for that function. Canon should refund anyone who mistakenly bought one of these hockey pucks.

3-0 out of 5 stars Canon LA-DC58F Adapter
This adapter replaces the decorative ring on the Powershot cameras (I use an A620) and provides a 58mm thread to add filters or conversion lenses. This adapter is fine for filters or close-up lenses, but as it is made of molded plastic I don't think it is suitable for wide-angle or teleconverters, which can be very heavy. For the latter, I would recommend the LensMate adapter which is machined aluminum (I don't work for or get any compensation for this, their adapter is just better for heavy lenses).Be warned that with some non-Canon-recommended conversion lenses, your camera's built-in lens may bump the rear element at extreme zoom, so be careful!

3-0 out of 5 stars it's ok
If you have the canon a610 or the a620, and if you want to upgrade you camera, your going to need this adapter, it's easy to use and makes the work but it could be manufactured in a better material, the extra lenses are heavy and this adapter are made of plastic so you feel like the adapter are going to break, maybe canon in the future change the materials ... 5-0 out of 5 stars great lens
If u r like me that likes to take pictures of the places visited and like to capture the atmosphere of the place this lens will do. The Pictures are not perfect but they are good enough.

3-0 out of 5 stars A wider, but not painless, view for Canon G-series
As a rule, I'm not a big fan of screw-in auxillary lenses for cameras - due to their many compromises - but sometimes the standard lens on the Canon G5 (or G3 or G6) doesn't have the wide angle scope that's called for. Other brand converters made for the Canon G may be smaller, but are prone to vignetting (image darkening in picture corners) and more obvious sharpness fall-off. This Canon lens attachment is sharp, gives good coverage and little fall-off. It's angle of view is somewhere between 24 and 28mm compared to standard the 35mm film format, and often it's just wide enough to do the trick.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Lens
This lens is a wonderful starter lens. A professional might want a little upgrade, but this is just right for someone starting out.

3-0 out of 5 stars Good lens, but check out some others
This is a solid telephoto zoom for the amatuer photographer. However, the Canon EF 75-300 USM is a tad quieter, is exactly the same optics, and is often sold on Amazon at the same price as this lens (normally there is about $30 difference).
3-0 out of 5 stars Is this lens as bad as some people say it is?
No it's not especially if you take into account its intended users. If you use a Canon digital SLR and are satisfied with the kit lens (18-55) then buying this lens can be the perfect next step for you. Practically speaking, you will be able to increase your zoom reach to the point where you can A) photograph birds in moderately distant trees, B) be able to zoom in on the other side of a valley and frame something of your interest. Those are just two examples. One thing you will NOT be able to do effectively with this lens, however, is to take sport shots with it. How so? Consider some of the following weakness:

5-0 out of 5 stars Replacement
Excellent flash.I had an accident with the first one and had to replace it. It was worth the expense.

5-0 out of 5 stars Canon Speedlite 220EXfor Digital Rebel
Built-in flash on Canon EOS digital rebel is flawed. This inexpensive add-on works great and is very useful for the casual photographer who likes the flexibility of the digital SLR but who is not a fanatic about flash photography.Price is right. Feature-full for all but the highest end photographer.

5-0 out of 5 stars Stronger than onboard flash and support for High Speed Sync (FP) mode
This is Canon's smallest EX flash. With a guide number of 22m it isabout 2.9 times as powerful as the typical onboard flash (guide number 13). It does not allow for tilt or sviwel. There is a cheaper Cullmann flash, the 20 AF-C, that does allow for tilt but unlike the 220EX it does not support high speed sync. The support of high speed sync is crucial for use of the flash for daylight fill. For me fill is the primary use of this flash.

  • Since the lens is designed exclusively for digital SLR photography, it provides high image quality in terms of resolution, contrast and flatness of image field
  • It employs a new optical system designed to confine the changing angles of incidences of light rays reaching the imager within a certain scope over the entire image field from the center to the periphery, by considering the effects of variances due to zooming
  • Peripheral light fall-off is minimized when compared with that of conventional lenses for film cameras so that images are uniformly bright from the center to the periphery
  • Complicated mechanisms are built in the compact body thanks to new mechanical artifices. The lens is a multi-purpose zoom lens, yet excellent portability and ease of use are assured. A number of invisible engineering innovations required to downsize the lens, produce high precision parts and increase durability are incorporated in the new AF18-200mm F/3.5-6.3 XR Di-II LD Aspherical (IF) MACRO since manufacturing this type of zoom lens with such complicated mechanisms inside was almost impossib

3-0 out of 5 stars Pending arrival of lens -- comments regarding focusing problems
(Initial entry 2006.09.12)
3-0 out of 5 stars get what you pay for
I purchased this lens as a lightweight alternative to carrying around several different lenses when traveling. The zoom range is fantastic; and I thought I could live with some of the distortion and softness expected from a super-range zoom as a compromise for the convenience. However, I was very dissapointed with the performance of the lens otherwise. The autofocus on the lens is slow and has a difficult time with focus lock in even normal lighting, and in low light situations - forget it.Considering the price, I could evenbe ok with this, since I am fairly comfortable with manual focus, however, after only about 2 weeks of use with this lens my camera sometimes will flash "00" for the aperture setting will not shoot- an indication that the electrical connections on the lens are not making good contact.Re-mounting the lens solves the problem for short time and it re-appears. I'm hoping that my lens was just a defective copy.Overall, I would say if you are used to the "kit" lens, then this might be an inexpensive way to add a nice zoom range, however, if you're used to shooting with the canon USM lenses, you will be dissapointed.
4-0 out of 5 stars Good choice for All-in-One lens for digital SLR
This is a very good choice for anyone shooting Canon Digital Rebels or 20D/30D series cameras, and wanting an all-in-one design that small and light weight.

5-0 out of 5 stars Works great
I am using this remote with a Canon EOS Digital Rebel and it works great! It would be nice to get the RC-1 so there isn't a 2 sec delay, but for my needs the RC-5 is fine.

4-0 out of 5 stars Canon RC-1 is a better choice (same price)
This is a nice gadget, but with one disadvantige over RC-1.. With RC-5 you CAN`T take pictures instantly, but only with a 2 sec. delay, and on RC-1 you have the choice. Other than that there isn`t much more to say, i mean it is only one button remote.. :) But offcourse, before you decide to buy RC-1 instead RC-5 check will it work with your camera (i have 300D (digital rebel) so in my case both of them work)

4-0 out of 5 stars Used for video productions in Las Vegas
Our Las Vegas videographers use the Energizer 9 volt rechargeables in our wireless mics for many of our events. They are great for high power over short periods of time. I'm sure they would be horrible in baby monitors, smoke detectors, etc. but that is not what they are really made for. Good solid battery but costs a bit more than its competitor "Rayovac" 9 volt rechargeables.
3-0 out of 5 stars Not really 9V, long charge times, short life
I purchased these batteries to use in a small baby monitor that requires 9-volt batteries.Alkalines lasted a good week of the monitor being on quite often; these rechargeables last about 2 days on average.I discovered they are really only 7.2-volt batteries (hidden in the packaging) but they work with my monitor just fine. The batteries take 10 to 13 hours for a full charge which is pretty ridiculous!I guess they pay for themselves over time, and seem to be the best 9-volt rechargeable product that is out there, but it is almost a step backward from alkaline batteries.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent if you buy them for the right purpose
I use several of these for my paintball gear. It is something that is a use it or loose it type thing. They aren't designed to be used over a long term. Charge them, use them, and then recharge them before next use. They are designed to be that way. Not for a smoke detector, that is for sure. They have a higher flow rate, meaning when I put it in my paintball hopper, I know that I am good to go for the day. When I am done for the day, I just take it out and wait till the night before its next use, then charge it back up. With no fear of it failing on me the day of use. I highly suggest it for uses such as mine, or digi cams and the like. Something that requires a lot of power for a short term. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Suits my needs
If you're looking for something to protect your camera from getting scratched and THAT'S ALL, then this is a great product. I throw my camera in my purse, so I wanted something to keep it from getting banged up. There's an old review on here from 2004 that says it's like a leather glove. It's true, the leather is very soft, but it's not completely soft-sided. There isn't any padding and it's light weight, but it's slightly reinforced and holds it's shape when it's empty. If you drop your camera from a high level, no, this will probably not protect it from breaking. But if you accidentally knock it of the table, this should keep it safe.
1-0 out of 5 stars BAD SERVICE-DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!
I ordered the camera case for the Canon Digital Elph 450. And I was given a completely different one. Prices sound great, but they do not deliver what you buy. Had a bad experience with them.

5-0 out of 5 stars Different Grades of Leather?
My original SD500 and PSC 50 leather case were both stolen during a burglary. Since they were gifts from my girlfriend I tried to replace the exact items. After buying the leather case, however, I suspect Canon made versions with better quality leather. My original case seemed to be made with a much higher grade of leather. It was more smooth and elegant than the one I just purchased. Even the small metal 'Canon Powershot' emblem on the front is made with a different kind of metal (is not brushed steel like the original).

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome flash unit
This flash unit is by far one of the best camera accessories I've purchased...macro shots are much easier with this flash and I don't have to worry so much about blurry pictures. The bulbs can be set to fire at different ratios and it's possible to turn one side off completely, allowing for nice shadows that give your images more depth. The ring itself can rotate, so the flash can highlight any side of the subject. It has two small focusing lamps that illuminate your subject while you focus, which makes it a lot easier to see what you're doing. It even comes with a nice padded carrying case. This flash gets a lot of use and it's now a major asset to the rest of my gear...it's definitely worth the money. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Looks like a must have but watch out for caveats.
It is a good addition to my Eos 5D but there are several issues:
3-0 out of 5 stars A good accessory, but could be better.
If you need a battery grip for your 5D, this is about the only choice. There may be some cheap knock-offs floating around out there, but I haven't seen one.
4-0 out of 5 stars No US Warranty
Careful - this item, if purchased from Ace Digital Club does not come with a US warranty. Same unit but no US warranty.

5-0 out of 5 stars A great buy!
I read the reviews and I was a little nervous about putting my camera in a case that some people claimed leaked.I took my camera to Jamaica loaded it into the case (carefully reading and following instructions) and it work out great. The pics turned out awesome, the camera was safe from water.I recommend this to anyone who has an interest in taking their camera in or near the water.
5-0 out of 5 stars Great Case
I took this to Guam and the pictures and videos came out awesome.

5-0 out of 5 stars Used in Saltwater
Took mine on a trip to the Caicos island where it was promptly dropped, mauled and possibly even slightly neglected (I never soaked it after bringing it out of the saltwater).Worked without flaw.Just as easy to use as without the case.If you've got kids, for Pete's sake buy one of these. While making it not only virtually trash proof, it enables you to take it places you would probably never take your digital camera otherwise... to the beach, to the pool.Forget about it!Got mine at scuba.com for $150. ... 1-0 out of 5 stars Doesn't fit my CANON 75-300 f/4.0-5.6
I'm obviously quite disappointed since the hood doesn't fit my lens. Maybe it fits only the 75-300 USM ?? The package and all the descriptions seem erroneous...

5-0 out of 5 stars Canon ET60 Lens Hood for EF 75-300mm f/4.0-5.6 SLR Lens
The ET60 fits the affordable Canon 300mm lens but if you're using it with, for example, a Rebel 300D or XT, it will also fit onto the standard 18-55mm lens -- however, when fully zoomed out, part of the hood is visible, creating somewhat of a circle in the frame. I happen to think it looks really cool, gives it a fisheye sort of feel. In regards to the 300 use, it seems to work pretty well and I use it at all times --bright sun or late afternoon. As most people probably have said, lens hoods in general not only shade the lens from stray light or weird angles of the sun (which often, without a hood, makes the photo hazy or grey) but it also provides protection for the lens itself and filter. It's not much money if you're into photography, and it makes your lens look awesome. If you're a beginner and purchased a 300mm, you don't really need to get the hood. Keep it as something to look forward to once you've got some experience. Either way it's a nice piece to use. ... Read more
