Poor Choice
Bought this for a Canon S2 IS.Works fine; but it's heavy and cumbersome because of the two-part cord with the transformer in the middle.I won't be travelling with this.A couple of years ago I bought an adapter from Digipower for another camera.It is light, compact, and cheap.Wish I'd tried to get a clone adapter for this camera too.

Canon Power Adapter
I like the idea of having an AC adapter for my Canon Powershot S2, just in case... However, so far (three months of use) I have found that the rechargable batteries have given me more than enough juice for downloads and projection on tv. I also find the transformer quite heavy and bulky--not something you would normally carry in your cameraq case.

Perfect Complement
I bought this power adapter for my new Canon S2 IS and this device I would highly recommend for it. Especially useful as I was learning to use this camera and I didn't have to worry about draining power. There are cheaper aftermarket alternatives when it comes to power adapters but I invested what I feel is allot on my camera and I didn't want to take a chance on a knock-off power adapter screwing up my investment. ... A+ Hood
It's easy to attach -- and detach -- and works well with most (but not all) of my 58mm lens. It does cut down on glare, and let's face it, the hood makes your lens look a bit more dynamic, while also protecting it from the elements.

Improves contrast and image quality while offering some protection
Hoods offer several benefits to the photographer. Primarily the hood shades the lens from stray light that may result in an unwanted discoloration or hazing of the image, or the appearance of lens flare. Shading your lens helps improve contrast and image quality. A hood is not required to eliminate these problems, as any item used to shade the lens will provide the same protection from stray light. The hood is convenient in that it is built to offer protection while ensuring that it will not inadvertently find its way into your image.

Good All-Purpose Lens
If you're a professional photographer, you can probably ignore this review. But then you probably won't be thinking about buying this lens anyway, as you'll be off to purchase a nice L series.
Abso-bloomin brilliant!
What a wonderful lens!!I'm purely a hobby shooter, but I do like to take nice shots.I took this to the zoo the other day and was able to take fantastic closeups of the polar bears, even through glass, and pick out the details on the butterfly wings.The lens is not as heavy as I had feared, and unlike some zooms it does not telescope out under its own weight, so it was comfortable enough to keep carrying all day.I'm using it on a Canon D60 and am nothing but pleased with the performance so far.

High Quality Lens
I purchased this lens for my Canon EOS 20D digital camera and so far I really like it.It focuses fast and produces very sharp, clear images.As with any longer lens you do have to be careful about camera shake; I've had a few images come out blurry but these are usually interior shots.I really like the 28-200mm focal length range and find the lens to be very versatile for framing wide shots of buildings or landscapes to zoomed in shots for portraits or close detail shots.The lens feels solid and appears to be well constructed, which is typical for Canon products.For the price range, this is an excellent lens.You can only do better by spending considerable more money on an IS lens. ... Great backpack
The backpack holds all my stuff with extra room. The only thing was that I thought I was ordering a bag not a backpack based on the picture shown. The backpack is a little on the heavy side for me but I do like it.

Excellent Bag for Canon S3
This bag easily accomodates my new Canon S3 IS, along with the lens adapter and hood, with room to spare. Recently, during a trip to Europe, I was also able to fit several other items into the bag: the rechargeable battery charger, AC adapter, and outlet adapter, along with two sets of rechargeable batteries, as well as a UV filter, and I still had room for more. I've no doubt the wide- and tele-converters for this camera would also have fit, with room to spare.

This bag is very small. My Canon 20D fits nicely with a small lens, but you cannot fit more than one lens with the camera body. We kept the bag for informal use when we only need the body and one lens to avoid always having to carry a bulky bag. ... Read more

I like this hood
I own this hood and Canon Digital Rebel XT.
Wonderful package at $25 hood + $75 lens = $100 Lens Deal
I needed a lens hood for my 50mm lens and paying $25 for a hood on a $75 lens might seem ridiculous. However, that might be because the $75 lens is so inexpensive. If the lens was $250 then paying an extra 10% might not seem too bad.I just saw the total cost of the lens and hood for $100 and that's good for a terrific prime lens and its hood.
A good to have accessory
It works great with my EF 50mm f/1.8 II lens.The price of this hood with ring seems pricy compare to the lens price, but it does the job when it's really needed.

Happy with purchase
I purchased this battery about 3 weeks ago as a backup for my S410.It's too soon to comment on whether this battery will take as many charge cycles as the OEM, but subjectively, this battery has taken about as many photos on a charge.It has gold contacts and the construction quality and finish is as good or better than the Canon. Well worth it
This lens is great for those indoor regular nothing fancy shots.I recently used mine indoors at a restaurant and the distance or close up range was perfect.
This is a higher version USM lens, not form the kit.
First thing to do is to make sure which lens you are buying. The kit lens comes with Canon 20D, 30D, 300D, or XT is the lower version, non USM one. On the higher version USM ones, you will see the red color "USM" at the front of the lens.
This USM is not the kit lens.

Too much $$$ for non L lens
This lens is very sharp, and easily the best EF-S lens I have used. However, I regret to say that I tried two copies of this lens and there are some serious problems. The first copy caused my 30D to have an "er99" error when at 55mm. The second copy backfocused sigificantly. On top of that BOTH copies got a substantial amount of dust on the front element after just a couple shoots. There seems to be a quality control issue on this lens, which is very unforunate because optically it performs very well. Canon should have sealed it better and tested compatibility more. If you aren't in love with the EF-S lineup and don't need IS or USM then I would seriously consider the Tamron 17-50mm over this.

Great quality and speed
Let me start by saying this lens focuses quickly and accurately and the image stabilization works extremely well. Pictures are sharp and contrast is beautiful.
Great lens but not for long term value
Got this lens just before I traveled thru China for two months. I had been using 24-105mm f/4L, and 17-50mm f/4L previously. This is a great lens producing images at least as good as my other L lenses. The construction of this lens while not giving a robust feel as the L series, it does feel like a good sturdy lens.

Affordable underwater digital camera with great results
I purchased this case and my A620 at the same time just for diving. This is my first underwater digital camera, easy to use and comes with a preset scene for underwater photos. Canon's case is one of the reasons I chose the A620, also like the use of standard AA batteries available everywhere. Took 70-80 pictures per dive on same set of batteries, had the camera on most of the time to be ready for the next photo opportunity. Although the A620 has a fast boot and is quickly ready to shoot. I was not using gloves, so the buttons were easy to operate, may be a bit difficult in cold water with heavy gloves. Took a couple of short movies, but was wanting to preserve the space on my card. With more experience I am sure I will be switching between still underwater and movies more. Great way to get into quality underwater photography for less than $500.

Excellent dive companion
I was very sceptical about how an underwater camera case would work, but this particular model exceeded my expectations. I've got a Canon A620 camera, and the Camera Case fitted very nicely on my camera. I've taken still photos and video with my camera housed in this case- in rivers, lakes and seas, and each time I was thrilled to view the footage from the camera. The case works perfectly and allows me to use every control on the camera while I'm underwater on my dive. I would recommend this camera case to any diver.

Small Compact Case
The case will hold the camera very snugly.It's true that there is not extra room for batteries/charger, but if you're just taking out your camera for the day, you don't want anything bulky.There are no straps to the bag, so I use the straps that came with the camera. Battery charger works fine.

Undersized case.
The battery charger and batteries are functional.The camera case, however, is practically useless.The camera barely fits in it, especially with the neck strap.There is no room for extra batteries and the case does not have its own neck strap, only a belt loop.Definitely a disappointment and not recommended for the Canon S2IS.

This Bag Is Big!
This is a great heavy duty bag.I keep my S2IS camera and my Selphy printer in the main compartment and there is still room for a lens.I have lots of other gadgets that I keep in all of the other compartments.It has metal fasteners and looks great.I thought about getting an off brand bag for my camera, but it's nice to show off the Canon brand.I wouldn't have wanted any other bag.I highly recommend it.

This is a good bag, it really is.But, why would you want to pay $50 for this bag when you can get the Canon backpack that is $15 cheaper, bigger, easier to carry, and protects your gear just as well?
Good bag
After reading some reviews and comparing prices, I decided to get this bag. It is quite large and perhaps slightly larger than what i had imagined it to be from the pictures. It has a lot of space for a camera body and 4 other lenses (incl the longish canon 70-200mm f/4) with some room left for other accessories. The strap is padded for comfort in the area where it rests on the shoulder. It is generally well made and looks very good. Although the canon logo kind of makes it obvious what's in the bag.

It is exactly as the original that I got with my camera AND I got an adaptor for the car, for a 220 plug and the "Y" socket type. COOL!

This charger DOES work with the Rebel (300D).
I've owned my Rebel now for almost a year and this is the charger that I use for both my batteries! (One at a time.. :-))

We love it!!!
We got it while on honeymoon in Hawaii, and it was wirth every penny. It workd well and gives you the freedom to take your digitaal camara to places you otherwise wouldn't.

A very good accessory to have, protects the lens, and helps in taking very good pictures in some special situations.

Not so good
Yes, I have to agree with the previous review.It doesn't seem to make any difference in reducing lens flare from light sources.It doesn't seem to extend far enough to actually do anything.If it was less expensive I wouldn't mind as much, and just chalk it up to extra protection.But that seems to be all it's good for.

Superb Canon Portrait Lens Gets Better
The Canon EF 85mm f1.2L lens has earned ample praise from photographers and critics alike as one of the finest portrait (medium telephoto) lenses available. It is the only one currently produced with a maxium aperture of f1.2 (About a decade ago Carl Zeiss introduced a special, limited edition 85mm f1.2 Planar for its Contax manual focus 35mm SLR system; this lens is alleged to be optically superior to Canon's.).
