Basically, all Mini DV tapes are the same.Unfortunately, on this item, when you factor in the shipping, it's not a great buy.Indeed, you can find them on sale in brick and motar stores for the same or a better price, so there's no need to buy this 10 pack.

Works great
Clogged heads are caused by mixing TDK or Sony tapes with any other brand. Their formulation is different. Don't do it.Use only TDKs or Sonys in your machine or you can mix Panasonic, Maxell, JVC, Fuji, or Canon brands together.Those brands are all the same formulation.
these tapes didn't worked for me and ruin my camera
i tried them on a sony dcr-trv33, and they clogged my heads in about 10min. of recording.

Excellent S-VHS Recorder
JVC has always manufactured the best S-VHS recorders. You get 400 lines of resolution when you record on S-VHS tape in the SP mode. This unit does have S-VHS ET capability but I still prefer to record on S-VHS tapes for best results. This is an exceptional unit. Longest videotape you can buy
I was going on a two-week vacation, and so I needed an extra-long tape to record my favorite shows.My 8-hour tape was not going to cut it, so I decided to try this new digital tape.
Does what it says but even more atrocious value proposition
The JVC DF420AU D-VHS tape does exactly what it proposes: given a properly set up D-VHS VCR, it makes perfect pixel by pixel copies of HDTV. I cannot see any difference between live and recorded high definition TV when I use these and a firewire connection with my HM-DH40000. You can also tape SVHS or VHS formats on this tape, and those formats come out quite nicely as well.

i love these tapes to death their super durabable and if you dont own an d-vhs machine their compatible with S-VHS vcrs's and the recordings on those are stunning crisp cleap pictures.

The best accessory you can buy for your JVC camera. The spare battery will give you peace of mind while shooting. The hard case is fully padded and form fitting for your camera and will protect it from a drop from the top of a moving car...
