3-0 out of 5 stars Good quality, but not enough exposures
The picture quality for these cameras is great. The biggest bummer is that it has so few exposures. When you go to get them developed, you have to pay as much as you would for a full 24 or 36 exposures. I would recommend buying a disposable camera with more exposures.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Purchase
I bought a few of these wedding packs for my brothers wedding and was more than pleased with the results. Unlike the other reviewer our pictures came out great, indoor and outdoor shots. We were able to pass these out to various people at the ceremony and reception and got a wide range of great pictures. The benefit is that you don't have to bug everyone to send you their pictures of the wedding. I just gathered the cameras up at the end and got them developed. Now I'm thinking I'll buy a few of these for future parties, great product.

1-0 out of 5 stars DO NOT USE FOR YOU WEDDING ! you will regret it !
its a fine product except for the fact that the flash needs to be turned on by flicking a switch, located on the front side of the camera body.Which means you are going to have a lot of underexposed interior shots, but nice outdoor shots..when the general public uses this camera for the first time.Learn from my mistake and buy kodak or whoever has an automatic flash that charges and sets itself when you hit the button to snap a picture. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars A phenomenon
Thinking of buying a camera? How about buying more than a camera? Well Ican tell you that the Fuji 60AF Autofocus 35mm Camera, is a lot more than acamera. In fact, I consider it more of a phenomenon. All the exellentfeatures it provides makes the camera incredible. It is so easy to takepictures with this camera unlike others that you have to hit variousbuttons to make it work. Not only that, the pictures that anyone takes areastounding. My friends four year old son took 4 or 5 pictures with thisthing and we all expected those pictures to come out looking very fuzzy. Not only were they not fuzzy, they were beautiful. If you want a goodcamera, get something else, but if you are looking for an excellent camera, you have come to the right place. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars good
if you use one time use cameras a lot, buy this one instead.it will save you a lot of money, and it's the same quality as one time use.its great for its price.the only thing is when you're taking the picture, the screen is really blurry and everything is really small.

3-0 out of 5 stars Cute, unassuming, and affordable
This is the kind of camera you may want to take with you instead of a disposable. Pros:It's light, small, a no-brainer inexpensive tool to catch snapshots, and, last but not least, has a wide angle lens with reasonable sharpness for a focus-free camera. Cons: Film loading must be carefully performed away from light to avoid marks on your shots (but that's true for most cameras), and, obviously, image sharpness cannot match an autofocus P&S. Overall, a cute little thing.

2-0 out of 5 stars Keep Looking
After doing extensive research before making this purchase, we have been satisfied with the picture quality. The focus and colors are sharp. However, the flash malfunctioned after less than 6 months. 1-0 out of 5 stars DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
This will be my first and last APS camera. The quality of pictures is terrible compared with even a cheap 35 mm camera. The picture quality reminded me of the old Compact Disc cameras of the 80's.The main reason I bought this camera was to take panoramic pictures easily with the regular 4x6 size, but I have already sent this camera back for a refund.Instead, I decided to use my old 35mm zoom camera for the 4x6's and buy a disposable APS for the panoramics, because the picture quality is the same. Also, the quartz date didn't work on the front. The only thing good I can say about this camera was the small size.

3-0 out of 5 stars A little disappointed
My complaint is with the viewfinder.I, and everyone else who's used my camera, find it hard to keep the subject insight. You have to keep moving it around to get the image back.Meanwhile, the bird you're trying to photograph has moved.Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Worked great for a while
I bought this camera a couple of years ago and it worked great and took great pictures until recently. First, it started to delay when taking pictures. I had to wait longer and longer, it seemed, each time I tried to take another picture. Then, I was rewinding the film that contained pictures of our son's first Christmas and the film got stuck in the camera. There is no forcing the film compartment door open and I stripped the gears on the door opener when I tried to pry it open. I ended taking it to a professional photo repair shop and spent $15 to have the camera taken apart around the film to save the pictures. I had to buy a new camera because this one is now worthless.

2-0 out of 5 stars Looks ARE deceiving
I bought this camera as a rush purchase to go on a weeked trip. Due the fact that my Kodak T550 was left at home.I know Aps cameras my not produce the greastest images blown up but I like them.I used my head and while I was there Itook a test roll and got them developed at a local store in an hour.I was already uneasy with the half-way decent quality of the pictures then and by the time I went through 7 rolls of film I was really on edge. I got back home and over 60% of my pictures came out dull, underexposed, and just awful. So I took my negative to an additional two other film proccessors and some of my pictures came out better but not by much.I've only been taking pictures for 5 years and I don't claim to know it all, but I really have come to dislike this camera. The only 'strenghs' to the camera are its looks and the LCD glow-type button function. While it wasn't acting like a camera with astigmatism(which I have) the pictures came out great. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Good camera
I've used this camera for longer then I can remember, and only discontinued using it because I upgraded to a digital camera.Any problems expressed in other listings may be due to mishandling of the camera. If you take good care of this product it can last for years!

1-0 out of 5 stars Defective Zoom Gears
Camera is easy to load and takes good pictures at first. However the gears that open the lens cover and zoom in and out go bad after after 2 to 5 years and the camera can no longer be used. Each of my daughters had this camera and they both went bad.Fuji will not repair this defect and it costs about $150 to fix.Avoid this camera.

5-0 out of 5 stars The DL290 By Fuji
I'm really sorry that the above people had these problems, but these may be just one or two bad apples out of a good crop. And good is certainly a word I'd use to describe the DL290.Straight out of the box you can feel the high quality of the product, unlike some of the cheap and nasty feeling products from other companies. The camera itself is SO easy to use, drop in loading, point and shoot, etc, and has some very advanced features built in too. The picture quality may be sometimes blurred SLIGHTLY, but if you have a steady hand, the outcome is sharp with radiant colours. It has a self timer, and a remote control option for taking pictures too, whilst the range of the Zoom is one of the best for this price catogory. Unfortunatly I lost mine in a party, but Im making my insurance company get me the exact same camera, even though I can get a more expensive camera by another company. My last one served me very well, and its stunning quality mixed with easy of use has convinced me to get another just like it. For the price, you really cannot go wrong. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars I LOVE this camera
This camera is wonderful! I have a 10 month old daughter and, as a 1st time parent, I find myself taking pictures of her almost every day. I've used this camera both indoors and outdoors and have been very happy with the results. I received a more expensive model for Christmas, but returned it because the auto focus feature didn't allow me to take pictures of a moving baby. I then purchased the Zoom Date 60 EZ instead, which has been both efficient and easy since day 1. I love the zoom options, red eye reduction and timer option which allows me to be in the pictures with my husband and daughter. Best of all, the quality of the pictures is wonderful. I highly recommend this model! In fact, I recently lost my camera and am going crazy without it. I plan on buying this same exact model just as soon as I can.

2-0 out of 5 stars ok for outside pictures
This camera is VERY easy to use, that is why I bought it. But, I still am having terrible trouble centering the pictures with it, and I do not like what inside pictures look like. I am returning the camera today.

1-0 out of 5 stars No good, Fuji I thought U guys had great tech

I got tips on how to make the best of your pictures, even took a class in photography and still it's bad, I wish I could get a refund for my money, but if U know how I can send me an email ASAP. I don't use the camera anymore and I'm outraged at the waste of money, not to mention the fact that I'm a fulltime student (well known fact have little or no income). ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Love my Fujifilm Discovery S1450
Hi, I'm a lover of picture taking and I ordered this particular camera basedphotographs one of my friends showed me. They bought this camera and I ended up loving the quality of the pictures. So I got one and have taken tons of rolls and have been very satisfied with all prints (which I develop at my local drug store BTW) :)

5-0 out of 5 stars idiot proof!
My husband has a Samsung that I could not load to save my soul!! I wanted one I could just load and shoot, and thats exactly what I got with this camera! I am glad I did not read the one and only review for this because it was not a fair rating. Sometimes you just get a bummer amongst the pack. I think the buyer should have tried another camera and they probably would have been satisfied. I bought this to take pictures of my very active and adorable granddaughter. I took one whole roll the first day I had this camera and I could not have gotten better results. The zoom is fabulous! I cannot wait until the holidays to capture every little detail of her precious angelic face! An excellent value for the money too!

1-0 out of 5 stars Returned twice!
I bought this camera and it would not load the first two rolls of film (drop and load?).We finally got the third roll to load. That was the ONLY roll of film we got out of this camera.I returned it and was given another one, brand new in the box.The film STILL would not load and even the clerk at the photo store could not understand the problem.I didn't opt for a third S1450.Instead, swapped it out for a different company's camera. ...
