4-0 out of 5 stars Good Value, but beware of Processor Policies.
I work at a professional photo lab, and I can attest to the quality of the film inside this camera. It produces results comparable to the Kodak PowerFlash -- that is, it performs superbly for outdoor and bright indoor shots, but it will tend to give grainy images in low-light situations.
2-0 out of 5 stars Not digital, Kodak should be ashamed
Despite the name, and the assertions of some sales people, this is not a digital camera. It is a one-time-use film camera with an inflated price that gives you a "free" Kodak Picture CD when you have the film processed. The problem with this plan is that many film processors either don't know, or conveniently seem to forget, about the free Picture CD and they charge you their normal price for it. You already paid for it in the price of the camera. It only costs $2 to $3 to get a Picture CD when your film is processed, so get an inexpensive disposable camera and avoid the hassle of convincing the film processor that they owe you a free CD. The "Maximum Versatility" film used in this camera does not produce particularly good pictures (then again, I guess no disposable camera produces outstanding pictures), it just gives tolerable pictures under a wide range of conditions.
4-0 out of 5 stars Great when you don't have your usual camera
My digital camera broke while on vacation so we picked up one of these to use for the last two days. The quality of the prints was comparable to a fixed focus camera. Not great, but acceptable. And the same could be said for the digital pictures.I'm not sure what the resolution is, but I'd say about 1.3 megapixels.I wouldn't want to make big prints from them but they were fine for viewing on screen and emailing.

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent pictures, but not for everybody.
I work at a professional photofinishing lab, and I can attest to the quality of the film inside this camera. The Kodak Black & White OTUC performs comparably to the Kodak HQ Max Versatility camera; it produces a high-quality image in most situations.
3-0 out of 5 stars Basic / no frills / good
Highly recommended for anyone who wants just a taste of black & white film. I purchased this item as a experiment into the realm of film after years of work with digital. The flavor of prints from film is distinctly different from that of digital, and I would encourage anyone who is very familiar with digital, but not film to purchase a disposable camera just to experiance the difference.
5-0 out of 5 stars Fantastic results from a camera that costs <$10
Lets start this off by saying this is a sub $10 disposable camera.

The KB28 camera from Kodak features a 35mm lens that captures portrait and group shots. Point-and-shoot simplicity and the automatic flash let you snap better-exposed pictures indoors and out. 1-0 out of 5 stars Horrible Camera
I received this camera as a present, probably becuase of its inexpensive price. From the very beginning I had problems with it.It is difficult to load, and you can not turn the flash on or off.Half the time it doesn't rewind, and other times it does. The film compartment opens by itself, ruining all of my pictures.I have wasted FOUR WHOLE rolls of used film one way or the other.Today, I am buying a new one becuase I just threw this one against my wall.2-0 out of 5 stars Lacking a button to activate / deactivate its built-in flash
Since it lacks a button to activate or deactivate its built-in flash, it flashes even you're taking pictures in bright sunny conditions.

3-0 out of 5 stars Okay as long as you know that everything is controled byhand
This is a pretty good little camera but do keep in mind you have to do almost everything by hand.It has a quick flash and is very inexpensive.Just remember that you have to wind it between pictures and to put the film in and out. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Generally not worth the savings; go for the flash.
I work at a professional photofinishing lab, and I can attest to the quality of the film inside this camera. The Kodak Max Outdoor camera produces mediocre results in all but the brightest of sunlight.
4-0 out of 5 stars Might want to go for the flash version instead
I know this one is $3.00 less than the flash version, but I think you'll like the quality of the pictures with the flash disposable better. You canuse the flash for outdoor pictures as well as for indoor ones, and theytend to come out better.Plus you have the option of using it indoors atthe end of the day.Reasonable picture quality *for the price* - if youwanna take photos for National Geographic, you'll need to pay a bit morethan $6.00 for your camera!:) ... 4-0 out of 5 stars A fantastic OUTDOOR camera.
I work at a professional photofinishing lab, and I can attest to the quality of the film inside this camera. The Kodak FunSaver produces excellent results in outdoor and bright indoor shots. However, it does not perform well under normal circumstances indoors and in low-light situations.
1-0 out of 5 stars Cheap and Nasty!
I recently used the Kodak Funsaver camera at a Birthday. The majority of the Photo's were taken inside using the flash. The Flash must be pressed before each shot is taken otherwise the Flash won't go off (As I quickly discovered). The results were a little dissapointing, very unclear, very grainy. These camera's are cheap in price and I'm guessing aimed at the younger market for things such as School excursions and Camping trips. If you are attending a Birthday and want above average photographs then I suggest spending the little extra and getting one of the more advanced Kodak disposable cameras.

2-0 out of 5 stars Cheap, Inexpensive way of taking Color Pics!
Low in Price, these Camera's are a great way of taking Color Shots. However, being lower in Price than the Max HQ and the Advantix Single Use Camera's you sometimes tend to get Pics that aren't as clear. A Great idea for a Child's School Camp or Excursion. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Simply Good
I enjoyed using this camera. It takes great pictures and is easy to carry around. my 6-year old daughter uses it also. One correction, the camera uses AAA batteries. I recommend its use to anyone who loves taking family pictures.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great camera
This is a great cheap camera for everyday use.I have had mine for several years and have not had any problems yet.The pictures come out great.I got this camera to replace another Kodak camera I had that broke after about 10 years.I swore I would never buy another kind of camera...

5-0 out of 5 stars Best starter camera
I've been using this for 3 years.Extremely cheap, extremely basic camera with the Kodak quality.Runs for a hundred shots on a set of batteries. After some experimenting on a roll of film, you'll grasp the capabilities of its lens and flash and you'll improve your shots dramatically.Excellent gift for youngsters while teaching them how to choose lighting and subjects and the art of framing one's subject. You'll have no fear of it getting stolen, broken or lost by the child. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Great for Snorkeling!
On a recent trip to Tahiti I believe I have tried about every kind of one-time use underwater camera on the market (i.e., Kodak Max Sport; Kodak Max Wet, and Konica Waterproof Camera and the Fuji). All of the cameras worked fine snorkeling, although I found the Konica and the Kodak Max Wet to be more difficult to use. [The Konica was a little difficult to see through the view finder with a mask on, and the Kodak Max Wet, most annoyingly had the strap and the photo button on opposite sides of the camera! A real disadvantage to a right handed person. As a result you essentially had to use two hands to take a photo, one to hold the camera and the other to depress the button. Any of these cameras will work fine for snorkeling, however the best were the Fuji and Kodak Sport. Keep in mind that all underwater photos will look a bit blue, however, snorkeling in the lagoon in Tahiti the blue was not really noticeable. 5-0 out of 5 stars Great Vacation camera
I recently brought this camera with me on my vacation to florida. It was an excellent camera to use in the water parks, because you didn't have to worry about it getting wet! it came on all the rides. And it took some excellent underwater shots. The colors of the prints were vivid and bright! the rubber strap is a great idea to keep it secure as well!

5-0 out of 5 stars Kodak Max Sport: Pricey but Worth It!
The Kodak Max Sport camera makes good business sense. As director of corporate communications for a nationwide environmental contracting firm, I'm constantly asking project mangers to document the various stages of construction projects with photos. Read more

Kodak gave its KE60 35mm camera a virtually fail-safe film-loading system. Instead of pulling out the film leader, all you have to do is slide the film tip in and place the cartridge in the camera. The Easy Load feature won't let you take pictures if you haven't loaded the film properly. The film door automatically locks after loading film and can't be reopened until the film is rewound. An indicator changes color to verify the door is locked.Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Only Good For a Short Time
I purchased this camera at the end of 2004 because the price was unbeatable. The place was trying to get rid of its 35mm cameras to make room for new digital cameras. At first, I was totally pleased with the quality of the pictures and the easy loading of the film. However, after only 2 uses the camera began to malfunction. When I try to load the film now, it won't accept it and the display on the back of the camera won't stop flashing. I can turn the camera off but once I turn it back on, the display on the back continues to flash, not allowing me to do anything at all. Glad I didn't pay the actual retail price for this camera. I was terribly disappointed because the first set of photos I took came out unbelievably beautiful. I woudn't recommend this camera at all.

4-0 out of 5 stars Beautiful Pics, Easy to Use
I've had my camera for almost two years now and I've been very happy with it!The pictures turn out beautifully, no matter the lighting. It's very easy to use with great features. If you're just looking for a simple film camera with great quality, this is it.

3-0 out of 5 stars Good Camera gone Bad
This camera was fine and it took really good pictures and they came out well. But then the camera's battery went dead and the camera was jammed in the middle of rewinding then I finally got the film out but it all out and every picture I took was ruined. Then when I put a new roll in the camera the film went all the to the end of the so I couldn't use it again. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Newlywed
I used two boxes of these at our wedding reception. The guests loved them. It made the reception feel more personal, like more of a family dinner than a fancy reception. 5-0 out of 5 stars Great Little Cameras
We used these at our wedding and found them to be terrific. The film quality is excellent. They are very easy to use so any of the guests felt comfortable shooting pictures.I would strongly recommend them to catch those candids at your wedding.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fantastic...even if it wasn't for a wedding!
I recently graduated from college and knew ahead of time how much film I was going to use between senior week activities and graduation. My mom and I each bought me a box of these cameras and I used 6 out of 8 of them. They were actually easier to use then regular disposable cameras (because of the one touch flash). My friends found it funny that I had wedding cameras, but the phenomenal photos they took made it well worth it.I can't imagine a way they could have taken better pictures. The memories they captured and the quality in which they did it is second to none.I plan on ordering more for regular use and when I finally get married, plan on ordering a whole bunch. The price including shipping was actually competitive to most stores that sell disposables.I'd recommend these for vacations, graduations, weddings and parties. They took both indoor and outdoor photos very well! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome disposable!
I took this camera on my honeymoon to St. Maarten and the pictures came out beautifully, better than the ones I took with my "real" camera.Would definitely use again!Would also love to go to St. Maarten again (but that's besides the point :-) ).

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun novelty, but don't go deep.
I used the camera in Hawaii. It was easy to use, and it was nice to have pictures underwater, but when I tried to take pictures of things on the ocean floor, I discovered that the camera won't work deeper than about 10 ft--the plunger gets depressed by the pressure.

3-0 out of 5 stars A great way to learn photography
Too bad that digital cameras are killing traditional cameras. This is similar to the first camera that I ever had.The 110 film was idiot proof and gave me a chance to have a camera.I learned many things from using a 110 camera that I have since used with other types of film and cameras. I bought this because it is fun to just have fun with a camera.

3-0 out of 5 stars nostogic...even....
hey, I don't own this model, but I have a little Kodak Winner 110 camrea, and I just recently bought a Bell & Howell 35mm. I finally dug out my 110 and bought the first rolls of film for it in years. even though the film is kinda hard to find sometimes, and the picture quility isn't as good as the 400 speed Kodak film I shoot in my 35mm, it's still alot of fun to play with during good sunny days, mainly cause I'm too cheap to look for flash bars for it. 4-0 out of 5 stars Great camera for the price, ease of use, and fun.
This is a great little camera for general use.The film is quite cheap (about $2 a roll, cheaper in a multi-pack) and loads with a simple drop in.Its a lot of fun and easy to use.Although photo experts may scoff at the picture quality,k this camera is great for kids (who don't have lots of money), it's also something so inexpensive that its no biggie of your kid loses it or breaks it.The picture quality isn't bad, but this isn't a camera for really important pictures or high quality. ...
