4-0 out of 5 stars I got them for $20
Based on the deal I got, $20, I can't complain. I have an average size head, 7 1/4 but I can see how they are tight on the ears and could be more comfortable.I simply slide them forward so they are more on my temples.I wore them for 3 hours with no annoyance. The reception was good once I dialed them in and haven't re-adjusted them yet. I walked around the house and out to the street and didn't lose clarity.I did lose it when I had 3 walls, 2 drywall and 1 brick but I don't plan on listening to tv out in the driveway often. For the money they were worth it and I can stay up and not bother the sleeping kid or wife.

4-0 out of 5 stars Pretty Decent with TV
Not sure about range - I go outside with them but can't go real far.Receiver is sitting on the tv.I've had them for some time.Only complaint I have is that the AAA Rechargeable batteries I have won't work in them.I haven't tried lithium batteries, but I plan to.For the price, they do a pretty good job.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good quality to dollar value!
After reading some reviews I was skeptical but all I wanted them for was to sit at my desk in studio since strereos, or out loud playing of music, is against policy.I figured these would get the job done and wasn't expecting much.WOW, was I suprised!I love my music and I got much better sound quality than I expected for the money I spent. However, like all inexpensive product, the Jensen Wireless Headphones takes a while to tune into the right frequency and requires very fine tuning across a very wide band to get superior sound quality. If you want to save the money and get these, be prepared to have patience before enjoying at full potential.I give it 4 stars! ... 4-0 out of 5 stars No problems
I purchased this scanner after checking several review sites.I use it only for home use (just photgraphs so far).I haven't had any problems with it in the 3 months since I have owned it.I purchased it along with U Lead's Photimpact 8 and have had excellent results.

5-0 out of 5 stars A great value and excellent quality
I purchased the Canon 1240U scanner, a bit costly than those available in the market. But the quality of the pictures made for all that extra $$$ spent. This one is really sleek and light weight and doesnt need any extra power cables that hang around.

I would strongly recomment this to anyone.

2-0 out of 5 stars No support for OS X
The Canon web site has been promising OS X support fro over a year, but they don't seem interested and have not responded to inquiries. Scanner is OK, but having to start Classic mode every time you use it gets old in a hurry. Mac owners beware! ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars I don't recommend this drive or any Pacific Digital product
Despite having all the system requirements, my pc started to freeze after installing this drive.Every time I turned on the drive, I had to reboot and lost everything.I tried calling Pacific Digital, but you can't actually get through to talk to someone. It asks you to leave a voice mail on a machine and I didn't get a call back until after I had already gotten so frustrated I returned the drive.Their online support is unhelpful too. They claim to have an online chat available, but the hours are limited and try as you may, you can never actually get through during those hours.I will never buy Pacific Digital again!

4-0 out of 5 stars good machine, bad software, documentation
This burner really does install very easily -- which is good, as the "manual" might as well have been written in Esperanto for all the assistance it provides. Other reviewers have noted this, too.

Frustrating, how tekkies can continue to produce such good equipment, then support it with drivel. Had to coax Windows 98 to find the drivers, which wasn't really a problem, had it up and burnin' in about 15 minutes...but the technically fearful might not have found it so easily. Did 15 consecutive burns with just one "coaster," and that was caused by a conflict in another program I was running at the time.

On to the software: The basic CD burner software works OK when it comes to simply copying another CD. But in building a menu of files and folders to back up onto a data disk, everything froze solid on five consecutive attempts. At that point I downloaded some Nero software, which worked like a charm.

From what I can tell, the "bonus" software included in the box is 100% junk, don't even bother loading anything beyond the basic burner software...and even that stuff seems dicey.

To sum up: Nice piece of equipment, if you don't mind the feeling that you're on your own once you've bought it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome burner!!
I was very surprised at the ease of installation and the speed at which this external USB burner creates music cd's.. It only takes about 5 mins to burn about a full 80min cd.. It was also compatible with my Musicmatch 6.0 software that was previously installed when I got my Dell computer awhile back. So I really haven't messed with the burning software that came along with the package. Installing the USB 2.0 card was a breeze also. Overall, I would highly recommend this external USB burner to anyone. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars paperweight after about a year
About a year after I bought it, my C80 printer started to have problem. Every time I turned it on, its power LED started flashing and ink LED was always on. I couldn't print anything. Ink cartidge was still full. I even tried print check described in its manual and that didn't work. I contacted Epson support and they couldn't figure out either. It's now sitting in my closet.

1-0 out of 5 stars Terrible printer but Epson service is even worse!
I am extremely disappointed with this printer and I am even more diappointed with Epson. From the day I bought the printer, it always had a problem with horizontal bars in prints. No matter how many times I aligned it and cleaned the nozzles, the problem never went away making the printer totally useless for printing pictures. When I asked for help from Epson, they not only did not help me, but they were actually rude. And not just once! I contacted them several times and the responses were consistently unhelpful and usually rude. I have never had this problem with any other product from any company. That's too bad because, as a professional photographer, I was planning to buy a high-end Epson printer because their dyes are reportedly more stable than those of other companies although the gap has probably closed in that regard by now. Luckily, since most of my work is for publication, I don't have a large need for color prints at this time.

At one point, I contacted Epson and merely asked them what solvent I should use to flush out the nozzles. They REFUSED to answer. This is an exact quote of their response: "It is not up to us to help you fix your printer."

I know exactly how to flush out the nozzles. It is no secret. I just wanted to know what solvent they recommend for doing that. It turns out that the inks are water-based so plain water will do the job. Other very good solvents for cleaning the nozzles on this printer are a mile alchohol/ammonia mixture and, believe it or not, ordinary over-the-couner Windex. Several companies even over kits that include everything needed to clean the nozzles but Epson insisted that it MUST be done by a "trained Epson technician." Sure! That would cost mroe than the cost of a new printer in the same class!

The printer finally just gave out and I don't even use it much. I installed brand new Epson cartridges (about $100!) and the Epson ink status monitor showed that they were down to 1/3rd full after only printing an alignment test! Within minutes, the status monitor said the brand new black cartridge was totally empty (it was totally full).

I am extremely disappointed with this printer and Epson. I will not buy another Epson product after this experience.

1-0 out of 5 stars Feeling betrayed by Epson
I bought this printer my last year of college based on a number of excellent reviews both online and from reputable publications. When I first got it, I loved it. Fast printing, great quality printouts, and the price was right for a broke student. Though it went through ink quicker than I would have liked, I was pretty conservative with its use and only had to swap black cartridges once in the span of a year. I was using it to print papers and research materials anyway, so I used color very sparingly.

Anyway, I moved back home after graduation due to money problems. Had a hard time getting a job at first (rough market even with a four-year degree), but I did eventually after about a year, and once I did I decided to get the printer the new ink it so badly needed. (Borrowed my parents' Epson Stylus Scan 2500 in the meanwhile, a wonderful printer by the way.) Got all new cartridges--authentic ones, no generic knockoffs here--and discovered to my dismay that the black print head was clogged seemingly beyond repair. I printed a test page in Windows once I got the new cartridges installed. All I got was the four-color Windows logo and lots of wavy black lines that didn't even resemble text. Tried one head cleaning cycle after another, and the problem didn't go away. Adding insult to injury, it sucked the new color cartridges dry almost instantly.

I agree with the general sentiment here--this thing is a money pit. It ran wonderfully when it was new, but it wasn't built to last. I know it's common for inkjet manfacturers (HP, Canon, Lexmark, etc. all do this, but perhaps to a slightly lesser degree) to take a loss on the printers themselves in order to make a profit on the ink and accessories, but Epson really went to the extreme. I'm lucky that I got my new ink on clearance, but I could have easily dropped over $50 trying to resurrect a lemon of a printer, and I sympathize with everyone else here who experienced this.

Incidentally, this happened with my brother, who got a C82. I've been an Epson loyalist for years, so it pains me to say this: Stay away from new Epson inkjets at all costs! They're very pretty and have impressive specs. But then they love you, take all your money, and then leave you. I'm getting rid of mine as fast as possible--not even sure I want to sell it because I don't want to force this misery on anyone else. For now I'm probably going to get a monochrome laser printer because all I need right now is a reliable, cost-effective documents printer. But if I were ever to get another color inkjet, it will not be an Epson. ... Read more
