3-0 out of 5 stars back from vacation
The Minox CD-140 date camera is simple to use , the small viewfinder takes some getting use-to. the controls are simple to understand and easy to use. The quality of photos taken on vacation with this camera are excellent, colors are true and images are crisp and clear ( but no better than my 8 year old Nikon LiteTouch AF ). Not sure if it was worth the extra cost when looking at other similar cameras. Have to see how this camera holds up over the next 10 years, hope its better than my pentax...

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome Camera
This is the best Camera I have ever owned.I scrapbook and I am so happy with the Quality and colors of my photo's. Definetly Reccomend.

2-0 out of 5 stars The MINISCULE VIEWFINDER is a TREMENDOUS Problem
Believe me, and believe any other review that criticizes the tiny viewfinder on this camera. It may have top-quality optics and an abundance of admirable features, but you're likely to miss most photo opportunities (especially in twilight and darkness) as you struggle to place the viewfinder over your eye.

Most of the photos we obtained with this Minox captured the moment after a great picture COULD HAVE been taken, and even then were generally off-center.I thought I would become acclimated, but frustration got the better of me and the camera was returned for refund. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Durable, Great Size, Inexpensive, and Perfect
I own a Olympus D460 and it couldn't fit anymore perfectly.Any of the Olympus cameras of this line will fit just as perfect. There's a super slim zipper pocket on the back that holds my extra flash card.Case Logic is a great brand too, you will not be disappointed in this purchase.

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Bag For The Money
This camera bag is smartly designed. There is plenty of room in the main compartment for a point and shoot or digital camera. I put two rolls although there's probably room for three in the expanding pouch on the front of the bag. The picture shows this part of the bag as grey. It's actually all black. On the back of the bag is a snap down strap and another compartment that can hold batteries or other small items. The carrying strap is plenty long and can easily be removed if you so choose. Overall this bag works very well and is a good value.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best value.
Comparing with others' prices this camera case is doing really fine with my digital camera. It looks nicer than the picture, really worths. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Good Book, Good Information, And Nice To Look At
The book has some great photos to look at.Of course this isn't enough reason to buy this book, otherwise you would just get a coffee table book.Fortunately the book is full of good tips and advice. The subjects are broken down in to one or two page explanations.I found this convienant and easy to read.It allows you to skip the topics you're not interested in or come back to them later.

I think the book is designed for beginners with some experience behind them. That would describe me.The book didn't boor me with stuff I already know. There is just enough technical jargon to help. The book is written in a pretty straight forward way.

If the book has a weak spot it would be the minimum information on digital cameras. That isn't really a problem though as modern digitals mimic film cameras.

I like to carry this book on trips and read through it frequently.

3-0 out of 5 stars Decent ideas and tips
This is a good, concise book for brushing up and reviewing before you travel and it's also useful for suggestions and ideas when shooting while travelling.

3-0 out of 5 stars Depends on who you are
This book is a 5 for beginners, becomes less useful to the more exerienced, but even for a more advanced amateur, it is worth a quick scan of the text for a refresher.Consisting of tips and suggestions, there is not alot of technical data as the various topics are covered, most topics covered in one page of text with a facing page of a couple of photos. The photos do support the topics well enough, such topics as City Vistas; Royal Dwellings; Formal Gardens; In the Rain; Rainbows; Strangers Faces; Close Ups; Dramatic Angles, etc.
Look it over at a library or book store, and you'llknow whether it will be a carry along pocket guide for you or not. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Okay Film
This film is okay. The color isn't nearly as realistic as some other films.I would recommend Fugi Superia Extra 400.It has much better color reproduction and is cheaper.

2-0 out of 5 stars Get the Royal Gold 400 film, not this one
Skip this one and get either: Kodak Royal Gold 400 or Fuji Superia 400.If you settle for this film you are going to possibly compromise your photo shot.

5-0 out of 5 stars Delightful exposures from the leader in film!Kodak!
This is the film I buy whenever I'm out.My exposures always return crystal-clear!The blue-green color of my stuffed walrus is particularly well-served by Kodak's masterful Gold Max 400 film.I'm also fond of Kodak's 110 film, but due to the nature of that format, my pictures were much dimmer. After the switch to 400, whoa!Watch out! What a vivid walrus! ... 1-0 out of 5 stars Piece of junk, beware
The felt tip came off on the first applicaton. The brush leaves brush-hairs behind.

I called customer service. They want:

1) Letter stating the problem

2) Send it the broken one

3) Proof of purchase

4) 8-10 weeks for replacement pen

What a joke. You may get lucky its upto you, but if you can find another manufacturer besides "Sima" I'd highly recommend you look around.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very simple and easy tool.AndNO scratch!!
It looks like this product has been around for years.(There have been good reviews since October 2000.)So I decided to get one.I received it quickly from Amazon (with no shipping charge since I purchased other stuff that exceeded $25). I must say I like it very much. And I will buy a few more with my next Amazon purchase.

I tried it on my lowly point-and-shoot 35mm Olympus camera first. The brush does not seem to scratch the optical lens and the compound works like a charm. After that test I moved on to my Nikon Coolpix digital camera, Nikon N70 35mm SLR and my new Nikon digital D70 SLR. Under bright lamp, I carefully examined the lens surface, it passed my eyes. No scratches or lines. It really does a great job. I am impressed.

I was tempting to buy a similarly priced Nikon brand cleaning pen but now I don't need to.This one already does all I need to do.

Now my next step is to get one for each camera bag.

5-0 out of 5 stars From the Coliseum to the Parthenon, the Sima Lens Pen rocks!
I purchased the Sima Lens Pen based on another Amazon review before departing on a month-long tour of Europe.I carried this product throughout Italy, France, Spain and Greece and I was amazed at its simple, effective and compact design. Not only did I constantly use it on my own camera, but this product was the hit of my tour group and I was constantly called upon to use it in order to clean other people's lenses as well.(Apparently, no one else on the tour realized that along with a camera and film, a lens cleaner is not optional.)

Given that a clean lens is an absolute prerequisite to a sharp photo, don't trust your memories to anything less than the Sima Lens Pen.This product is superb! ... Read more
