5-0 out of 5 stars Can't believe how cheap it is in the States
I bought this item in Canada and now that I see how cheap it is in the States, I so wish I had found it before my travels. I payed over $100 in Canada for it which roughy translates to about $75 American these days. I bought it because I needed something light for the car seat between flights. Now I keep it in the car and use it for every shopping trip. I love how small it is and maneuvarable, and how light it is. I also can position my evenflow car seat a little more horizontally when she sleeps by putting it between the bars instead of on it. The only problem I have with it is the almost completely useless basket. The opening doesn't help at all, its almost impossible to put anything in there except for very narrow or small items. Certainly not a diaper bag.I have a big stroller which I keep in the garage and use it for walks around the neighbourhood. So the frame, for the price, is really worth getting, if you have a heavy stroller.

4-0 out of 5 stars think twice before buying a large bulky stroller
When my daughter was born 11 months ago we purchased a Graco TravelMate stroller. Big mistake - the thing was bulky, difficult to steer, and took up almost the entire trunk space of my car. After two months we switched to the SnapNGo which we found at ToysRUs instead. This basically became our travel system which we actually used with two different infant car sets (Century and Evenflo). We used the SnapNGo exclusively from age 2 months to about 10 months. We even used it indoors sometimes to motion baby to sleep. Pros: compact, easy to fold/unfold, sturdy frame, good parent tray, and large basket. Cons: my wife says it's still kind of heavy, front wheels cannot be locked from turning, switching between certain types of car seats require you to unscrew one support bar and reposition it, and faster growing babies will most likely outgrow their car seat (and hence the SnapNGo) in much less than our 10 months.

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect - No problems at all with this one
This is the best stroller I have ever bought! I wish I had it when my first child was born. I bought this when my son was 1 month old and it made running a lot of little errands easier. The brakes are good, the parent tray is good, and even the valet at the hospital knows how to close it! It's easy to steer and has proven to be very durable. ... Read more

Primo Viaggio Infant Car Seat - Chesapeake

    Editorial Review

A good infant car seat should offer four key features: safe design, comfort for the occupant, convenience for the parents, and a stylish appearance. The Chesapeake model from Peg Pérego comes through on all counts. It features a five-point harness system to keep young ones firmly in place, ample padding all around, and an additional halo pad to cradle baby's head (perfect for dozing off on long car trips). The seat is equipped with LATCH, a car seat system mandated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration that requires points of anchorage on the top and bottom of the car seat base. Despite its firm anchoring, this car seat also detaches easily for toting. It's upholstered in dark blue with a white and blue plaid pattern, and also sports a retractable canopy. --Charlie Williams ... Read more

    3-0 out of 5 stars Stormy's Aunt
I purchased this car seat when my niece was born and I had difficulties from the start. Getting her little arms through the straps was and still is difficult and she is now 4 months old. The unit is heavier than most and I must confess I bought it because it looked good. Changing cars means setting up the base and that too is difficult because you have to level while it is strapped to the seat. Once you get the base leveled, then when you place the car seat in with the baby...the base becomes unleveled...so it becomes a guessing game.
The one plus I have for this infant seat is that it attaches pretty easily with the Primo Viaggo stroller, which I love.

    3-0 out of 5 stars It's O-K....
This carseat wasn't as great as I thought it was going to be.I first registered for it b/c this brand was what "all the new moms were getting".My son was born very little (only 6 lbs) and in July.He was sweating in this carseat after the first week or so and always cried in it.He grew so fast that by the time he was 2 months old, he was 14.5 lbs and squished into his carseat and cried even more when he was in it.His backside was always hot and sweaty. Not only that, the Primo Viaggio infant carseat was heavy to begin with but with the added weight of the baby, I was struggling. We bought the Britax Marathon carseat and changed him into it by the time he was 4 months old.He LOVES his carseat now and enjoys every car ride now that he's not squished, sweaty and uncomfortable.Seems that it was a waste of money to only use the infant carseat for 4 months.

3-0 out of 5 stars Before buying, make sure base fits in car!
We bought this car seat because of the great review in the Baby Bargains book, and for the clean styling. After spending an hour trying to install it, we figured out that the LATCH system only works if you have the LATCH system installed on the BOTTOM of your car seat (not the latches behind the back seat head rests). Our car does not have the LATCH system at the top AND bottom of the seat. That is an *extra* updated feature.

We figred there had to be another way to install it without using the LATCH system...we went to the Highway Patrol who proceeded to tell us that there is a way to install it, but since our seats aren't flat enough in the back, the car seat won't work in our car anyway. Our car is an '02 Audi A4 - pretty common size in cars, I think.

Not really worth the money. The Highway Patrol said that he prefers (for safety reasons) the Evenflo car seats - but this one is a safe car seat if it fits right. Now I have to buy another car seat AND stroller since it went together with the Aria stroller.... ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Love it!!!Stylish, comfy, versitile
The storage basket is big enough for my Avent diaper bag.I bought a cheap cup holder that snaps on which is great if that's an issue for you. Both myself (5'3") and hubby (6'0") push without kicking bottom. Also, it pushes like a dream - so smooth and turns on a dime which is great in crowded stores! The boot came in very handy when we were vacationing in Maine.Started sprinkling and the boot material repelled the water nicely.I haven't had any trouble with fabric and we've taken ours on an airplane and it constantly slides around in my trunk.I like the carseat - esp. that it has hood too. With the Venezia you can completely cover baby with hood which is great.Child tray is not a big issue for me. If you want one, Peg Perego website sells them for twenty bucks. So stylish, I constantly get compliments on my stroller.I never thought anyone would comment on a baby carriage!!!The recline and fold are effortless.I am very critical, but I can't think of one thing I don't like about this stroller.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Stroller w/ just a few adjustments needed
As a first time mom I was conflicted about which stroller/car seat travel system to buy.I was attracted to this one because of the available colors. Not one to like the "baby" fabrics that are out there, I loved the silver/gray neutral color of the fabric. After using it for 4 months now I have a few suggestions for the manufacturer:

    1) Although the fabric is beautiful, it doesn't breathe which in a hot climate causes your poor baby to sweat profusely!!

    2) The fabric wears and develops abrasions on the edges too quickly for normal wear and tear.

    3) The car seat (Primo Viaggio) that is sold with it is so narrow that after my son was about 3 1/2 months old he didn't fit it in anymore.

    4) The handle bar needs a cup holder (shouldn't that be automatic at this point?) and is too low for normal heighth individuals (I'm 5'5" and my husband is 6').The shortness causes your feet to "kick" the wheels when pushing the stroller at times. The handle bar should adjust up like my McLaren Techno XT does.

The steering is excellent and the stroller folds easily. All in all I think the stroller is good but could use some improvements to make it excellent!

2-0 out of 5 stars Not worth the money!
My husband and I have been very dissatisfied with this stroller for several reasons.
1.The handlebar is very low and we have to bend over to push it.
2.The basket is very small and it is very hard put things inside because the seatback is in the way.
    3. There is no drink holder.
    4. The car seat only holds infants up to 20 lbs.
5.It is very difficult to get the stroller up a curb.
    6. The wheels often get stuck on small bumps in the road.
    7. Although the handlebar moves back and forth, the stroller will only fold up in one direction.
    8. Our feet hit the stroller when walking.
This stroller isn't worth $300.We have returned ours and are looking for a better one. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Definitely not worth the money!!!
Purchased high chair about 1 year ago because of the reputation of Peg Perego brand, the added features and the suggestion of the store's assistant manager. With the exception of the difficulty in cleaning the chair, yes its a big pain but in the overall scheme of things nothing to worry about, I thought I purchased wisely. However, about 5 months ago I noticed that my baby boy (at the time 16 months) was able to wiggle his way out of the 5 point harness and stand up on the seat. I dont know if anyone else has experienced this problem but it's a little scary to see your baby balancing on the high chair hoping he's not going to fall over before reaching him. No matter how much I tighten the harness (without making it completely uncomfortable)he can still wiggle his way out of it.Not expecting this from a quality brand like Peg Perego and with a 5 point harness I am very dissapointed. My in-laws have a small booster seat for him at their house that attaches to a kitchen chair. It was much less expensive and only contains 1 strap around his waste. My now 21 month old has not been able to wiggle out of this booster seat.Anyway, my point is this; this should not happen with a 5 point harness, a reputable company like Peg Perego and the price that is charged for the product.

5-0 out of 5 stars We love it!
We love our prima pappa high chair. The double tray is a must - the top tray pretty much acts as her plate and we just pop it off and wash it and put it back on.We have the black sable model, which removes and has a gray plasic cushion underneath. We've washed the cover several times without a problem.I like the 5 point restraint as it was very useful when she was really little and couldn't sit up well, helped to keep her upright, I'm sure it will be very useful later when she tries to escape. The tray is very easy to attach, two poles on the tray fit into holes on the chair - all visible. We road tested other high chairs and we found it was hard to see what you were doing when putting the tray on and almost impossible to make sure you weren't pinching fingers - except the prima pappa. The tray slides out to take the child out without taking the tray off.A quality product.

3-0 out of 5 stars Stylish, but not worth $200
I did most of my baby registry on-line so I picked this one based on my specious and regrettable reasoning that because it's expensive, it must be the best.I've seen a number of other decent high chair at Babies R Us for less than $100. (Chicco, Fisher Price)I wouldn't buy this if I had to do it over

Negatives:(1) Wheels don't roll smoothly. When I roll my baby around the house, it drives like my first try with a stick-shift (2) sometimes seat reclines with one side higher than the other (3) in order to move the chair up and down, I need both hands AND my feet on the base, (4) in order to pull tray table out or back in, I need both hands (although it's supposed to be doable with one hand, I've never been able to do so)

Positives:The best looking high chair bar none. The cover fabric is stylish and looks perfect even after machine wash. ... Read more

    Editorial Review

A good portable crib is an item that belongs squarely on any parent’s "gotta have" list and this Graco model is one of the best. It’s patterned in nicely muted pale green and beige and features mesh walls along the side so parent and baby can see one another. This model includes other thoughtful features not found in all portable cribs: a detachable bassinet, a toy bar with soft teddy bear faces that attach to a hanging canopy, and battery-powered vibration and music options. But the true test of any portable crib is, of course, how portable it truly is. We’re happy to report that it was a breeze to take apart and put back together. While travel with very young children is always unpredictable, everyone is bound to rest easier if this crib is packed along. --John Moe ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars I LOVE THIS PACK N PLAY!
This pack n play rocks. My baby loves it. I used it in my bedroom the first couple of months after she was born instead of a cradle or regular bassinet. The bassinet features are great espeically the vibration, my baby loves it! It's not too hard to assemble and pack up either. I just wish it all fit into the carring bag a little easier. All in all, this is a great pack n play and I recommend it!

5-0 out of 5 stars This is great
I got this from my parents as a gift and I love it. It has everything on it that I wanted and its easy to pack up and store. The only thing I found that I didn't like was the chaging part he rolls and its very cold even with a blanket on it so we don't use it we change him on the floor. But over all its a great product and it last I suggest it for all mothers too be.

5-0 out of 5 stars Can't wait to use it for baby #2
This was a great choice for our little one who is now 2 years old.We have a second on the way, and I know we will get the best use out of it again. In the beginning it was used mainly for a changing table downstairs, but the best thing about it was packing it up and taking it on trips. The baby loved to sleep in it with the little night lite and vibrating mat along with the music to play, she always felt at home when we traveled. Can't wait to pull it out again. We even have had family use it for their little ones when they visited us!Great all around buy! ... Read more

    Pump In Style W/battery
Average Customer Review: 4.5 out of 5 stars
    Baby Product

US | Canada | United Kingdom | Germany | France

    Editorial Review

Pump in style, indeed. This classy and discreet set is a great choice for back-at-work moms who don't want every Tom, Dick, and Harriet to know that they are pumping between meetings. With features such as a battery pack, adjustable suction pressure, and variable five-speed (from 42 to 62 cycles per minute) control that mimics your nursing baby, this hospital-grade setup is as efficient as can be: it can pump a full 6-ounce bottle in 5 to 10 minutes. Pump in Style also allows for dual pumping (pumping both breasts simultaneously), a great timesaver for working moms in particular. Its automatic suck-release-relax cycling mimics your baby's natural nursing pattern (with no manual adjustments required like some other models). The carrying bag itself is also quite nice, with insulated compartments and freezable cooling packs for keeping bottles of breast milk cool for approximately four hours. The Pump in Style set includes a black shoulder bag; manual pump conversion kits; a double-pump accessory kit; an AC adapter; four freezer-, microwave-, dishwasher-safe bottles with lids; two bottle stands; 20 milk storage bags; three cooling packs; breastfeeding information sheets; and a sample of PureLan breast cream. The pump can be used with an electrical outlet with an AC adapter or optional power pack, and its durable motor is made to work overtime--four to five times daily. The whole shebang weighs as much as a newborn (7 pounds), but the quality is definitely worth the extra weight. --Melissa Wilson ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great breast pump
I rented pump from the hospital and I really liked it.If I was going to keep breast feeding my child I would defiantly purchase this pump.It was quick and easy to use.It is great that it has multiple comfort and speed settings.

5-0 out of 5 stars Breastfeeding Twins
When I found out I was having twins, I knew I had been blessed. But I wanted to nurse them just as I did my daughter. But having two babys to breastfeed was going to be alot harder. But I knew I could do it! By having this pump it took some of the stress of nursing twins off of me, it was easy to use and very comfortable. They are now eight months old and I am still able to nurse them!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great breastpump!
I had my first child and did not have this breastpump. I had to stop breast feeding my child at 5 months because I travel for work and had to go back! There was no way I was using my other pump! Now I have 6 month old twins, working and still breast feeding! Thanks to this pump! It is great! I'm done pumping in 10 minutes! It is a must have!! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars One of the better pads on the market
I like these pads because they are very absorant and do not show through my clothes. They also leave my skin very dry which is very important for keeping healthy nipples. However, during breastfeeding I have to be careful in folding them in my bra in order to reuse them once I am done, if I don't I have to use new ones because they become all wrinkled and useless. For that reason I use these only during the day.At night I use Lansinoh pads, they are bigger and more absorbant than these and I can still reuse them even when I mistreat them during feeding.

2-0 out of 5 stars Would not buy again
Have tried 3 different brands now and I liek these the least. My breast leakinsane amounts throughout the day so no matter what pad I wear I have to change it every hour or so. I have to wear 2-3 pads on each breast regardless! Totally crazy I know!
These pads though when not soaked yet are like putting paper between my bra and breast so they're not comfortable at all and they crumple up a bit in places. The tape is pointless as they don't move around at all as did none of the others brands I tried. If you have a bra that fits a bra pad will stay in place. One other issue is and at the same time it's a positive I guess is that because these pads are kind of like a diaper in the sense of being absorbent and having that extra layer, you don't always know until you happen to touch one of the pads that it's completely soaked through for who knows how long! It's very obvious when one is soaked as it weight a whole lot more and feels like a dead jellyfish, but you only know this when you check it. I would not buy these again.

2-0 out of 5 stars Not as good as others
I received two sample pairs of these breast pads when I bought my Medela Pump in Style, and I'm glad I got the pads for free instead of spending $10 on a whole box.Yes, the pads are thin and so they don't show through clothing. However, I haven't had a problem with any of the pads I've worn showing. These pads make a big deal about being "form fitted" due to the two little pleats, which give them a natural 3-dimensional curve. However, again, I've never had a problem with unpleated pads and how they fit (and I have a VERY large bust). But, the thing that I really hate about the Medela pads is the adhesive. It's such a small piece of adhesive that it really should have been left off entirely. It's just big enough to make it hard to remove the pads from the bra for nursing, but it's too small to really hold the pad in place while the bra is open. This makes the pad ruffle up badly, and it's very difficult to get it back into shape when you put your bra back in place. After only one or two times of putting the bra down and back up, I found that the pads were bunched up into uncomfortable, lumpy balls inside my bra, and there was really no way of fixing them.Personally, I prefer the First Years nursing pads with lanolin. They are very absorbent, they hold their shape through multiple nursing sessions, and they don't show through clothing. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Great Bassinet!
My son slept in this for the first six months, we were staying with my mom until we bought our house, and this was a perfect fit!My son was a big guy and it was very comfortable for him.The storage area was difficult to get into at times, but adequate to put stuff away when it wasn't to be used for a while.I wish the mattress was convered in a different material, it seemed a little scratchy to me, but I wrapped it in a blanket and tucked it in tight so it wouldn't get loose while my son slept. He preferred the feel of the chenile blanket on his cheek.I wheeled my sleeping son around the house so he could be wherever I was. This bed was so easy to move around, lightweight, but sturdy.I recommend this to anyone who doesn't have the room for a crib when the baby first arrives.

5-0 out of 5 stars Just Perfect!
I read all the reviews on this bassinet and was quite impressed. I purchased it for my first grand baby and was not disappointed. For the money it just can't be beat. It is so sturdy and well designed. She is now in a big baby crib and the bassinet is ready to pass down to another Mom and Dad who I am sure will love it just as much! I only wish they would make it in a variety of fabric and colors, although the toile was perfect for my grandaughter. I don't think you can go wrong with this purchase.

5-0 out of 5 stars Definately a keeper!!
I love this bassinet!!!!!My daughter slept next to me till she was 3 months. It is sturdy, practical and sooo easy to take from room to room.

The only thing that needed to be changed was the mattress. The one that comes with the bassinet is really thin and I would think uncomfortable for any baby.

I don't know what I would have done without it. ... Read more

I love these containers.I have the Isis breast pump and these attaqch directly to it and then I just pop in the disk and freeze.I don't have a problem defrosting them at all, just soak in warm water.Although I do try to defrost ahead of time if I know I'll need to use it.

4-0 out of 5 stars great but don't freeze
I use these storage containers for mixing breast milk and rice cereal to feed my daughter while we are out.I love these containers for this use.I don't have any problem with leaking and I can feed my daughter straight out of the jar.

I gave these 4 stars because I didn't get any use out of these for storing breastmilk in the freezer (which is why I registered for them in the first place). It takes FOREVER to defrost the breastmilk in these bottles.I just ended up using the Lansinoh and Gerber milk storage bags because they defrosted quickly and took up much less room in the freezer.

5-0 out of 5 stars It's Avent so its a great item...
These are great. They don't leak and are nice and sturdy. The tops come off and nipple tops can be directly attached. After he stopped with these bottles, I used them since they had flat closed tops, to shake up his formula. I love Avent products and these are wonderful. They attach to the bottom of the Avent VIA Isis pump directly which was nice. Great for storage of baby food later on as well. Tops can be used with 9ounce bottles as well.

This all-in-one crib sheet is designed for ease and convenience. Instead of using a separate sheet and mattress pad, now parents can use the "ultimate" crib sheet that combines absorbency, comfort, and wetness protection all in three layers--sheet on top, soft padding in the middle, and vinyl next to the mattress. A real time saver, this sheet is made for parents who have better things to do with their time than change sheets and mattress pads. --Jane Snyder ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars You will LOVE the QUICK changes!
Sits on top of mattress. Snaps to sides and ends of crib so you just pop it off when it's time for a change.I HATE changing the crib sheet because you have to lift the mattress (which is heavy and awkward!) and remove or work around the bumper. This makes changes literally a snap.Get two so you always have a clean one.It sits on top of your regular crib sheet so you can still show off your regular sheets if they are part of a set or just a pretty pattern/color.

5-0 out of 5 stars My Favorite Baby Item!
I purchased this crib sheet after reading a review in a magazine - it was the BEST thing I ever used!!I only had one - but wished I had 2 lots of times. They are especially great in the middle of the night when you have a mess, just unsnap and your good to go - there was a clean sheet underneath!(My problems only occured when mess 2 happened in the same night!!)

My daughter did start to pull off the end straps, then crawl underneath! But this was only a few weeks before she was crawling out of the crib anyway.

I wish they made these for "Big Girl Beds"!

5-0 out of 5 stars #1 Baby Item to Date!!
I got 3 of these for my 1st child and I LOVE them!!No fussing with fitted sheets in those early am hours...just unsnap and throw another on!!All three lasted until my son went into a big boy bed at age 3 ( what a blessing these were for those middle of the night-pm-potty-training accidents)! Well worth the extra $$$.Top sheet and waterproof pad all in one!! Buy with confidence! ... Read more

I got both the green and the pink and they work fine but are not meant for cold weather...worked great in the summer.

5-0 out of 5 stars Cutest blanket and washes up well!
I'm writing one of my first reviews to recommend this blanket. When I registered for it there only were a couple of reviews so it was important for me to let everyone know how much I love it.Upon checking the item again I was pleasantly surprised to see all of the positive feedback.Such a cute, elegant, soft, and large blanket that has washed up well. It's far more luxurious than the price indicates and is so soothing to look at -- a nice baby blanket is such a great part of baby's layette.

4-0 out of 5 stars Nice blankets
I have twins a boy and girl. So i registred for a blue blanket and a pink blanket Well my grandma bought me one in every color. She told me that i could never have enough blankets and she was right! The cooler days are here to stay and pretty soon we will be getting snow. I have to take the kids out everyday to their grandparents house..and they go on earns with them also. The blankets are nice and cozy but not bulky. They are great to fold up and keep in the diaper bag. Or great to cover a sleeping baby up with. I have washed them all MANY MANY times in the last 6 months. And they have held up very well. The only reason i gave them a 4 was that the colors are starting to fade just a LITTLE. But that may be because i wash then once a week. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars OK but nothing special
I registered for this kit because I didn't want to have to worry about getting all these things separately.I really shouldn't have worried - I wound up getting a little comb and brush set myself and the hospital gave us a baby emery board that I've used since day 1.The comb and brush in this set are OK - I didn't find the brush too hard as another reviewer did, but I think the comb is too short; I would have preferred that the whole comb have teeth instead of having such a short toothed section and such a large handle.I haven't used either the nail clipper or scissor because the doctors told us not to use them on delicate baby nails (it's too easy to accidentally clip the skin).I used the emory board from this set once and it was fine, although I prefer the one I got from the hospital because it's larger and teddy-bear shaped (easier to hold as well as keep track of).I haven't used the toothbrush, either - until my baby gets teeth, I'll just wipe her gums with a damp cloth.Overall, for the number of things I really use from this set, I don't think it was worth it; however, if you think you'll use more than half of what's in the kit, it's a convenient way to get all the items at once at a reasonable price and with a handy carrying case to boot.

5-0 out of 5 stars Use this often!
This comes in such a great, handy storage bag that keeps everything neat and easy.I have no problems with the quality of the items in the grooming set.

2-0 out of 5 stars Compact but cheaply made
The carry case is cute, but the products are definitely nothing great. The brush is SO HARD.I can't imagine using it on a babies head! The other products are OK, but most people get a lot of them anyway. ... Read more

With its neat zippered nylon case, this kit is perfect fortravel or for storage in the nursery. The kit's digital thermometer cantake a temperature orally, rectally, or from the underarm area, gets areading in approximately 60 to 90 seconds, and has an automatic shutofffunction. 1-0 out of 5 stars don't waste your money
I got this as a shower gift and ended up replacing every part of it except the medicine spoon with items made better by the exact same company.I kept waiting for the thermometer to shut off and it never did so I am using my old thermometer in it's place. The aspirator that comes with this is really cheap.I got a replacement that has a plug in the bottom and a guard to prevent going in the nose too deep.I ended up replacing the nail clippers with a pair with a handle.I wish I hadn't put this on my registry.at least I got a really nice zipper case to keep my separately purchased stuff.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very Convenient
This sterilizer is a time saver. As a parent of a baby, time is teh one thing you need the most. I would invest on thisitem.
Just put in the microwave for 4 minutes. Then let it cool for 2, and then use the items when you need them.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good product, but not really necessary
This product is easy to use, works well and is FAST . . . and everyone knows that time is precious is a new baby.I use Advent bottles & pacifiers and they fit perfect as do all the parts to my Medela breast pump.I don't use the sterilizer every time anymore since my daughter is a little older now.I run the bottles & pacifiers though the dishwasher so I feel comfortable with the heat they get from that. This sterilizer is great though as it is very light weight and easy to store in between uses. It's up to you & your doctor whether you need a sterilizer, but if you do decide to get one, definitely get this one.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great for SOME people, not really needed for others
My almost 4 month old son is VERY small (24th percentile!) so the doctor recomended me buying a sterelizer, in other cases careful scrubing and just putting the bottles in the dishwasher would do, and it can save you some trouble. but for those people who need or really want a sterelizer, this ones great. Its much less expensive than the other sterelizers that take over all your counter space! It cleans my bottles very well, and I use mostly avent by the way. It can also sterelize my 2 1/2 year olds "magic cups" after he gets over a virus or if he had milk (another product by avent). It is fairly simple to use and much less stressful than boiling water, in my opinion. It also comes with 4 bottles, although my house is a bottle factory as it is! This sterelizer can also be used as a drying rack if needed. I love this sterelizer and it has kept my small son very healthy, happy and playful! ... Read more

I received so many packages of washcloths at my baby showers. I had registered for these, and they remain my favorite. They are 10" by 10", larger than a lot of other washcloths. They hold up well in the wash. One person had mentioned the roughness of the terry cloth, but my baby seems to love them. I'm just sold on the size and durability.

people complain about leaking, i have found that this only happens when you over tighten the tops.I love the bottles especially the disposable nurser.I use my medela pump, and pour it into a avent bag put it in the bottle and can feed my baby breast milk during church. This set does not come with freezer clips for the bags, make sure you purchase them if you are looking to store your milk

    5-0 out of 5 stars avent...we're #!
i was given the deluxe set, which came with the bottle brush/cleaner, & the "oh so smell good" baby wash as a gift, which i thought was very neat. i love avent bottles, as one parent said that it is versatile and it is. the bottles haver virtually no air, easy to clean and the two needed sizes of oz. that you're baby is going to need. my daughter loves it. i recently found myself in a jam when i went to a restaurant with some girlfriends and forgot the nipple for my daughter's bottle. well, instead of driving all the way home, i went to a store and bought her a "temporary" bottle (play#$%^x)to use to drink her milk...well she kept sucking the nipple inward and had gas for the rest of the afternoon...hopefully never again will i have to buy another brand for her. avent...is really the best and well worth the money!

1-0 out of 5 stars Terrible Product
These bottles were the worst I have ever used. The nipples either had to large of wholes, or no wholes at all.And to top it off, if you did not screw the nipple and lid on a certain way, the bottles leaked all over the place. So after two weeks of trying to use these bottles, my poor son had to gag on too much milk, cry because there was no milk, and was changed constantly because the milk was all over his clothes if we did not bother to check the lid to see if it was screwed on properly.I highly recommend Playtex products.Less air, they don't leak, and the baby does not gag on too much milk. ... Nikon Coolpix 2100 2MP Digital Camera w/ 3x Optical Zoom
    by Nikon
Average Customer Review: 4.0 out of 5 stars
    Electronics

US | Canada | United Kingdom | Germany | France

    Editorial Review

The Nikon Coolpix 2100 is a good choice for digital photography beginners, offering a compact size, 2-megapixel resolution, 3x optical zoom, and a bevy of automated scene controls that are customizeable.

The 2-megapixel CCD sensor captures bright images that can be printed up to 8 x 10 inches. However, 2 megapixels just doesn’t seem enough, especially when 3-megapixel cameras--like the Nikon 3100--are becoming so affordable. The movie mode captures smooth video up to 640 x 480 pixels for 7 seconds (or a more jaggy 15-second, 320 x 240-pixel videos), but it doesn’t offer any sound.

One of the most impressive features of the Nikon 2100 is its size. From the online pictures we originally viewed, we imagined it to be large and a bit clunky. While it’s a biton the chunky side, the 2100 is surprisingly small. Plus, the rounded ergonomic hand grip rested comfortably and securely in our hand.

The Nikon 2100 offers a whopping 14 scene modes that automatically set the camera’s white balance, exposure, and focusing point for different situations. The easy-to-learn software system features large icons and text to guide you through your choices. And some of the modes even provide an "assist" feature, with outlines of figures or landscapes to help line up the shot.

We had fun playing around with the scene modes and snapping pictures that made the most out of the shooting environment. However, we felt we lost some spontaneity if we relied too much on switching through the modes.

The Nikon 2100 is an affordable choice for a point-and-shoot camera that offers sharp, bright images and brings a lot of flexibility to the party. It comes with a starter 16 MB memory card and alkaline batteries, and we recommend a higher-capacity Compactflash card and rechargeable AA-size NiMH batteries.--Agen G.N. Schmitz

    Pros:

    • Compact size, comfortable in the hand
    • Customizeable scene modes
    • 2-megapixel resolution for prints up to 8 x 10 inches

    Cons:

    • Scene modes can be a bit too customizeable, and distract you from the shot

5-0 out of 5 stars Battery problems workable
Reviews of this camera, as late as the Fall of 2004, seem to place the Coolpix 2100 above all its competitors (2 Mpxl, non-SLR).

My two complaints: there is no manual focus (but you can use the focus lock, half-depressing the shutter switch, to "lock in" a focus range - except in macro mode), and a wimpy flash (really only good to 6-8' (2-2.5 m). A separate flash is the answer here.

The battery issue mentioned by others below is troublesome, but not really a big problem. In short, rechargeable batteries are a must, but they tend to carry a lower voltage, which the camera battery meter reads as being "nearly empty". So, like a car with a bad fuel gauge, you eventually learn to disregard the "low battery" warning, and always carry a backup pair of charged batteries.

I've shot - ready for this? - over a hundred flash photos in a row from a single pair of rechargeable AA's. Pretty good lifetime! But the meter claimed they were low after the first 5-10...

2-0 out of 5 stars Problems with Refurbished Unit
I bought a "factory refurbished." It came without the compact flash card which was supposed to be included. Repeated messages to the seller have been ignored.

Also, I'm using recharageable NiMH AA batteries. After taking about 20 shots the camera shuts off and says "low battery." Recharging the battery shows that it's only about 20% drained. I'm not sure if this is normal or due to a defect with this unit.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best little camera
I received this camera for christmas. I've never used a digital camera before so I was a little intimidated at first. I soon realized that I didn't need to be intimidated. It is so easy to use and small enough to fit in my pocketbook. I can now take pictures at any time and it is so easy to transfer the pictures onto my laptop. Since getting this camera, I am enjoying taking pictures as well as sharing pictures with my friends and family. ... Read more
