well worth it
I originally bought this air mattress for camping.I got it after having a problem with another brand that did not thave the double air lock.I have never had a problem with deflation while I was using it.I recently had a change in my marital status and in my "bedding" and I am now using this air mattress every night, and find it as comfortable as a regular bed. I am glad I made this purchase.

A Very Uncomfortable Sleep
I was excited to use this mattress for the first time.It was easy to inflate and use.It was not comfortable at all, especially if more than one person uses it.If you move, the other person bounces up and down like on a waterbed. Midway through the night half the air had leaked out somehow (even using the double lock valve) and I was laying on the ground.Despite numerous attempts to fix the problem, it never worked correctly.Avoid this air mattress!

Almost as comfortable as my bed
When I'm going on a family camping trip where there is no packing involved and all I have to do is set up the tent and gear, I always take along this Coleman flocked Queen size bed for my wife and I.It is pretty easy to inflate (especially with the Quickpump), and is so comfortable I sometimes almost forget I'm sleeping on the ground.We also use this mattress a lot at home when we have lots of company and don't have enough beds to go around.

My one complaint with this bed, and one which I have heard others share, is that it is not big enough.It is supposed to be a queen size bed, but it just doesn't seem as large as our queen size bed at home.Aside from this minor complaint, however, the Coleman flocked mattress has served me well.In fact, I slept on one for the first month I was away from home at college, and was still satisfied with its comfort after sleeping on it for over four weeks. ... Best Screwdriver the average person can buy
This is the best screwdriver I own. Most of my tools are thrown togerther in a drawer or are in a tool box in my trunk. I have this one on a desk in my office, and it is the first one I reach for when I need a screw driver (which is all the time to tighten fixtues, door knobs, etc.)
I also have a screw driver with a bit set - it has too many free parts that can shake loose.
This screw driver is locked to gether and much easier to change to the bit I need. This is a durrable tool and has a great price.

Nice scanner, but useless after upgrading computers
I have had this scanner for a couple of years and I loved it with my old Windows 98 computer and my Mac OS 9.0 laptop. Then I bought a Mac Mini with OS 10x. I have had compatibility nightmares ever since.

I found out that it'll work with OS 10 IF and ONLY IF I install Adobe PhotoShop or Elements. Why should I have to spend $100 or more on software to get an $80 scanner to work? So, I got my laptop back out and started scanning and working on my graphics files on the laptop, where I have expensive programs that I cannot yet afford to replace. But in order to get an external CD Burner to work I had to upgrade to OS 9.1.

Now, after just upgrading from Mac OS 9.0 to 9.1 I have to go through the whole process of troubleshooting again. I've already spent half a day in total frustration.

This scanner should be off the market - without new drivers it's totally useless. It's more of a shame because I had liked it very much until a couple of months ago. There should be no reason for Canon and/or Mac to get appropriate drivers up and online.

worked great until the glass broke
I had this scanner for a couple years. I thought it worked really good. I used it mainly for scanning pictures, and they were very sharp. Then one day the glass shattered into hundreds of tiny pieces with no apparent explaination.

works OK but some limitations
Unlike some of the others with this unit,I had no trouble installing and using it (one I got the right drivers,that is -- J&R Music world initially sent me the wrong disk,grrr).

Though it runs a little slow, it does make reasonably clean scans, and makes MUCH less clutter on and behind my desk than most other machines,which is why I bought it.

People need to know,however,that the lens has crummy depth-of field,which means that anything that is not dead flat against the glass will look fuzzy.My previous scanner could make acceptable images of small three-dimensional objects;this one won't.

Also,the color balance is kind of off,too blue-tinged.With my Paint Shop Pro, I need to subtract a little blue and add a little red to the scans to make them look like real life.

I assume that both these problems (poor depth of field and color imbalance) come from the dim scanning lamp neccesitated by the low power available to the unit. ... Read more

HBO caused a stir when it aired If These Walls Could Talk, a portrait of three women from three generations (all who occupied the same house at various times) who had unwanted pregnancies. HBO utilizes the same gimmick in the sequel, this time telling the story of women who love women.

The three stories of If These Walls Could Talk 2 are uneven. Far and away the most powerful and moving story is the first, taking place in 1961, starring Vanessa Redgrave as a woman "widowed" when her partner of 50 years suddenly dies. Redgrave is phenomenal, and her piece alone makes this sequel worth watching. The 1972 portion stars Michelle Williams, who finds dealing with the sexual politics of the gay community increasingly more complex when she falls in love with a boyish woman (played by Chloë Sevigny). The most modern piece, taking place in 2000, portrays a contemporary lesbian couple (Sharon Stone and Ellen DeGeneres) determined to have a baby. The light nature of the story detracts from the more serious issues of the earlier segments. Touching, wonderful work
I first saw this movie on HBO and I absolutely fell in love with it. It's touching, funny, eye-opening.. Oh it's just Great! The acting is perfect, they make you feel all the emotions you're supposed to feel in different scenes. Its 3 short stories that all have a different meaning/struggle within lesbianism. The first one is about and elderly lesbian couple and how they had to hide all their life even after one of themwas gone. The remaining "wife" was left with no one else in the world. The second one takes place around the hippie era when feminist activists were at large. It shows how the butch type lesbians were looked down upon. The last one stars Ellen and Sharon Stone as a lesbian couple in the 20th century trying to have children and how difficult it can be. I hope I didnt give away too much but its just hard to explain the plots without giving it away! I really do recommend this to everyone. I say everyone not just gay people because I think its something that even straight people need to be aware of. It just takes you through different times in the 1900's and some pretty rough situations for the lesbians in those certain days.It's just honest. And wonderful. A must have for your lesbian collection!
