    Editorial Review

The red tent is the place where women gathered during their cycles of birthing, menses, and even illness. Like the conversations and mysteries held within this feminine tent, this sweeping piece of fiction offers an insider's look at the daily life of a biblical sorority of mothers and wives and their one and only daughter, Dinah. Told in the voice of Jacob's daughter Dinah (who only received a glimpse of recognition in the Book of Genesis), we are privy to the fascinating feminine characters who bled within the red tent. In a confiding and poetic voice, Dinah whispers stories of her four mothers, Rachel, Leah, Zilpah, and Bilhah--all wives to Jacob, and each one embodying unique feminine traits. As she reveals these sensual and emotionally charged stories we learn of birthing miracles, slaves, artisans, household gods, and sisterhood secrets. Eventually Dinah delves into her own saga of betrayals, grief, and a call to midwifery.

"Like any sisters who live together and share a husband, my mother and aunties spun a sticky web of loyalties and grudges," Anita Diamant writes in the voice of Dinah. "They traded secrets like bracelets, and these were handed down to me the only surviving girl. They told me things I was too young to hear. They held my face between their hands and made me swear to remember." Remembering women's earthy stories and passionate history is indeed the theme of this magnificent book. In fact, it's been said that The Red Tent is what the Bible might have been had it been written by God's daughters, instead of her sons. --Gail Hudson ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Dynamic Women in Bibical time
This book put a unique perspective on a women's role during Bibical times. I love it and found the historical content seemlessly interwined with a creative plot so you can't help learning soemthing new with each turn of the page.

5-0 out of 5 stars A wonderful story well told
"The Red Tent" is part of a wonderful compilation of books, which cover the lives of the women of the Bible. There is so little written about the women who populate the books of the bible, just a name here or there, which leaves great amounts of room for the story teller to work with.

In this case Anita Diamant tells us the story of Dinah, the sister of Joseph. As far as I can remember the only mention of her in the bible is to tell us she was raped, and how her brothers killed the men of Shechemite to avenge her.In this book we find the story of her birth and place within the family of Jacob. We are told of her four Mother's, Jacob wives, Leah [Dinah birth mother], Rachel [the beautiful one], Zilpah, and Bilhah, and how their relationships affect Dinah. With in this book we find that Dinah becomes a strong women, who is respected and loved. She becomes a wife and mother and a midwife of standing, but not among her own family.

I loved reading this book, and quite literally could not put it down once I began to read it.Ms. Diamant's writing style is comfortable to read, and flows smoothly.I found that I could relate to the feelings and need of Dinah and her mother's.I mourned the end of the book, as much for Dinah's death as for the ending of a great story.

4-0 out of 5 stars What could have been...
Dinah, only daughter of Old Testament Jacob, narrates this story of her mother Leah's meeting her father, Leah's feelings of inferiority towards Rachel, the foolishness of Laban and the growth of her family.Once Dinah is born, the story switches to her life and in particular, and her relationship with her mothers (father's wives) during their time of month in the Red Tent, her brothers, and even her grandmother Rebecca.I enjoyed the author's colorful characterizations of these familiar names and the way she made it easy to visualize the arid environment where they lived and traveled.Though Dinah was only mentioned twice in Genesis, this book does a marvelous job of building a whole personality and story about this woman who endures such terrible hardship but promptly disappears from the pages of history. ... Casio Cassiopeia EM-500 Color Pocket PC (Red)
Average Customer Review: 4.0 out of 5 stars
    Electronics
    list price: $399.99

    Editorial Review

The Cassiopeia EM-500, Casio's follow-up to its E-100 series of personaldigital assistants, closely mirrors the E-115 but offers a few changes. Thebiggest change is the move to using MultiMediaCard (MMC) memory over the morestandard CompactFlash memory slot. The postage stamp-size MMC cards offer neededmemory expandability (as the EM-500 comes with only 16 MB of internal memory, compared to the 32 MB of the E-115), especially if you plan to use the EM-500 asa portable MP3 player--one of its many multimedia capabilities.

While MMC over CompactFlash limits the ability of the EM-500 to use many PocketPC peripherals, we were willing to overlook that once we got a peek at the EM-500'sgorgeous TFT screen. This very bright, very colorful (65,536 colors, to beexact) display shines beautifully when you're playing games or watching mobilevideo player clips, which run along at a respectable 15 to 20 frames per secondwith the EM-500's 150 MHz MIPS processor.

The thick EM-500 (about twice the thickness of the Palm Vx) offers standardCasio programmable buttons to bring up the menu, calendar, and contacts, as wellas a navigational D-pad, which is great for gaming. In addition to functioningas a stereo MP3 player (when using the included headphones), the EM-500 alsoworks as a voice recorder, allowing you to dictate reminders for yourself orvoice messages to send with e-mail. Casio promises six hours of battery life, but we often were able to get seven or more as long as we left the backlight onmedium brightness.

With its IrDA port, the EM-500 can communicate with wireless devices, and itsUSB connection provides speedy data transfer--even installing programs largerthan a megabyte took only a few seconds.

Despite the limited memory and the lack of CompactFlash support, the powerfulprocessor, excellent display, and long battery life make the EM-500 acompetitive entry into the Pocket PC market. --J. Curtis

5-0 out of 5 stars I own one
This is a great pda for the price and it works well with windows which is a major plus. I am a med student and use mine to reference material quickly (it makes me look like a genius). Anyway, it has lot of other app as well so you can use it to play your fav song... on the train/bus or edit email or read a book... I COULD GO ON AND ON... anyway, good deal especially if you find one used.

4-0 out of 5 stars High quality, limited expandability
I purchased the EM500 as my first PDA, along with a 64MB MMC card. The card allows me to store vast amounts of data and music on MMC, compensating somewhat for the barebones 16 MB of RAM permitted in this device.

Due to technological changes by Microsoft, the EM-500 and most other Pocket PCs on the market as of August 2001 cannot be upgraded to the new Windows Pocket PC 2002 operating system.

Assuming you need to buy a PDA before the new generation of Pocket PC 2002 PDAs reaches the market, the EM-500 is a great choice.

The video quality is excellent. The unit design is simple, sturdy and elegant. The included applications are more than sufficient for the average PDA or MP3 user. The success of the character and handwriting recognition software in translating simple messages was a pleasant surprise.

For added convenience, buy Casio's EM500 docking cradle.

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent PDA
I love PDA's (and computers in general, for that matter) and this is an excellent device. There was a time when I swore by Palm's pda's, but while Windows CE (now known as Pocket PC) has evolved to near-desktop power, the Palm has remained virtually unchanged. Of the Pocket PC's available, this unit is the best compromise of size and power. It packs a 150mhz cpu (more powerful than the HP Jornada, less than the Ipaq), 16mb of ram, and an amazing screen capable of displaying 16bit color. The Ipaq and HP Jornada can both only do 12-bit color at best. All of that is packed in a comfortable, small device that feels extremely solid in the hand.

While I do believe the EM-500 is probably the best unit available, it does have a few draw-backs. The miserly 16mb of ram is hardly enough... if you buy this make sure to get a 32mb or 64mb memory card to go with it. My other complaints are minimal: lack of hardware volume control, location of IRDA port... but none of these minor issues really impact the usefulness of the unit.

Definitely a great PDA, and well worth the money ... Read more

    Editorial Review

This restored, animated valentine to the Beatles offers viewersthe rare chance to see a work that's been substantially improved by its technical facelift, not just supersized with extra footage. Recognizing that its song-studded soundtrack alone makes Yellow Submarine a video annuity, United Artists has lavished a frame-by-frame refurbishment of the original feature, while replacing its original monaural audio tracks with a meticulously reconstructed stereo mix that actually refines legendary original album versions.

What emerges is a vivid time capsule of the late '60s and a minor milestone in animation. The music represents the quartet's zenith--Rubber Soul, Revolver, and Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. The story line, cobbled together by producer Al Brodax and a committee of writers, is a broad, feather-light allegory set in idyllic Pepperland, where the gentle citizens are threatened by the nasty, music-hating Blue Meanies and their surreal arsenal of henchmen, with the Beatles enlisted to thwart the bad guys. Visually, designer Heinz Edelmann mixes the biomorphic squiggles, day-glo palette, and Beardsley-esque portraits of Peter Max with rotoscoped still photographs and film; Edelmann's animated collages also nod to Andy Warhol and Magritte in properly psychedelic fashion, which works wonderfully with such terrific songs.

High orthodox Beatlemaniacs can still grouse that the animated Fab Four are (literally) flat archetypes, but that's missing the sheer bloom of the music or the giddy, campy fun of the visuals. Making sense of the story is second to submerging blissfully in the sights and sounds of this video treat. --Sam Sutherland ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars In the town where I was born.....
Having never seen The Beatles Yellow Submarine as a child (but having heard the song since I was just a wee lad) I was delighted to discover this classic in its newly restored DVD presentation.A fond admirer of The Fab Four, I have watched A Hard Day's Night like a million times.Sublte humor was their gift when they were all still getting along back in the days of yore (the lads from Liverpool called it quits with each other when I was one year old). The fact that my two daughters (one being eight and the other fourteen) have developed a fondness for this movie speaks volumes. In the era of Disney-eque oblivion, Yellow Submarine shines.Funny and full of delightful animated eye-candy, The Beatles rule the universe. Definitely a great movie to pop in on a lazy Saturday afternoon.

5-0 out of 5 stars AWESOME MOVIE
i LOVE the beatles and i love this movie. me and my friend sam watch it all the time and i know it word for word. AMAZING MOVIEif you like the beatles you will love Yellow Submarine

5-0 out of 5 stars Surreal Beatles!Psychedelic Sixties!
This is a delightful Beatle fantasy film and I am so happy that it is now available for future generations to enjoy. For inveterate Beatle fans, this is a must have!

The restoration of this film is nothing short of excellent. The movie has fresh animus and fun, thanks to the work of those who made this available.
The re-mastered audio literally brings the Beatles closer to home; I love the George Harrison masterpiece, "It's All Too Much!"And we can't forget "Hey, Bulldog," an obscure treat that deserves much more air play and attention than it got at the time.

"Yellow Submarine" is a purely 1960s movie. The animation, the surrealism and the vivid, intense colors are like a day-glo explosion.I love it!The whole movie is intense, from the bizarre characters, e.g. Snapping Turks, Blue Meanies, et al. and the floating clouds and flowers.I love it!

Pepperland, no doubt inspired by "Sgt. Pepper," is a subaquatic community ruled in harmony by Old Fred and kept in check by their foes, the Blue Meanies. The Blue Meanies are weird, blue-humanoid looking creatures with what look like Mickey Mouse hats, large noses and sneers.Fred, one of the central charaters sails his submarine to England where he elists the help of the Beatles to keep the forces of evil (Blue Meanies and their supporters) at bay and to restore Peace, Love & Harmony to Pepperland.Sure, it's a soft plot, but the plot does help to serve as a vehicle to transport the music, talent and images of the Beatles! It is the icon of Psychedelia Sixties!

The animation is well done, with recognizable Beatles in the psychedlic clothing of that time period. The scenes involving color replacing a drab landscape and the Blue Meanies' change of heart add to the delightful 60s essence of this movie.

This is a good film for all ages.Beatle fans will love it and their counterparts are sure to be delighted as well.Seriously, how can anybody hate the Beatles? And how can anybody hate the Beatles and enjoy a Beatle movie? ... Read more

This is the blender of the future. It performs all thetraditional blending tasks (crushing ice for margaritas, thinning icecream), plus you can use it like a food processor (mincing garlic, puréeing peppers). The wide jar is rounder and squatter thanold-style blenders, which makes it easier to reach in and scrape thesides (when the blender is off!). To reduce splatters of strawberrydaiquiri, the Step Start feature starts blending slowly, then picks upto the chosen speed. This blender also comes with a booklet containing75 recipes--my favorite is the Frosty Chocolate Raspberry Latté.--Dana Van Nest

5-0 out of 5 stars Superbly designed blender
I bought a red one as a Mother's Day gift, but I tried it out just to see if it was worth the price. It didn't disappoint me.
Mom has gone through cheaper blenders at the rate of one every 8 months. This one has the power as evidenced by the much heavier motor base. Jar has plenty of capacity though some fruit lumps will lodge under the blade. Stirring with a chopstick should dislodge the occasional lump. For those who complain about the worn out teeth - you're overloading the machine! Begin in the pulse mode to break up the contents into small pieces before liquifying it - this will prevent motor burnout and the stripping of the teeth. A cheaper blender would have burned out sooner!

1-0 out of 5 stars Rubber Drive Teeth Don't Last
We have had this blender foryears now.We bought it after seeing one that our friends owned. We have used it for milk shakes, smoothies, and crushing ice.Honestly, we loved it.Then the blender our friends owned died. The rubber teeth used to turn the blade disintegrated. We felt bad for them, but never thought such a fate waited for us.Today our rubber drive teeth crumbled into dust.Garbage.Very badly engineered.Don't buy one if longevity means anything to you.

5-0 out of 5 stars AWESOME...what's with all these competitors' SHILL reviews?
After my Krups died (lasted 4 years) I did a ton of research before I bought this blender, and in the end the choice was just too obvious: there is no other blender in this price range with this amount of sheer power, not even close.

The KitchenAid just blows away the competition from Cuisinart to Braun to Oster to Waring. It certainly was a night and day difference from my old Krups, which took about 3 times longer to do the same work (pureeing 35 oz of bananas and oatmeal with 5 oz of soy milk and yogurt). My sister has the Cuisinart 600watt model and it was also no comparison.

So what sold me on the KitchenAid, despite all the one-star single-reviewers?(NOTE: sure sign of paid shills, aside from the anonymous ones---only one review to their entire history or all their reviews praise one brand and/or attack another brand.)

1.Weight.Simple and consistent indicator of good quality in any electronic device (including speakers, receivers, etc.) is the sheer heft and weight of the thing---I went to a local housewares shop and simply lifted each and every display model. The KitchenAid easily outweighs all the others by almost double.

2.Blade.The KitchenAid's blades are bigger, thicker, and more multi-level than the competition's.Goes through everything in a jiffy.

3.Ease of pitcher movement: very easy to put the pitcher on the machine and take it off, zero twisting---just set it straight down.

4.Nice thick glass on the pitcher.Looks like you could kill somebody with the thing!

    My dislikes:

1.Pitcher is only 40oz, my old Krups had a 50oz pitcher.

2.Plastic/rubber lid is kind of a pain to put on and take off, it's so darn tight.

3.I wish they would just have the simple flip switch controls that the VitaMix blenders have...without the VitaMix price tag, of course!

Now I have to say that I've only had this blender for about a month, but my neighbor has had his for two years and has never had the kinds of problems that many of the MYSTERY reviewers here claim, and the guy is a margarita fiend.

Hmmmm...could this just be a case of badmouthing the competition? ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Almost perfect
I have owned and used the 108-768 (aka. Magellan) binocular for about 1 year. They never leave my boat. I like the grippy-light weight body and the focus and forget individual eyepiece's. The internal compass is as stable as most any brand and can be quite handy when taking bearings. The prisms are BaK4 optical glass and help to keep false color to a very low level. They have taken more than a few bumps, both from handling and rough water, but have always came through and asked for more. I am happy with theses binoculars and they are several hundred dollars less than top notch Fuji's or Steiners.
On the critical side, it would not have killed Olympus to multi-coat the optics. Full coatings are good, but multi-coatings make great optics, with all other optical quality being the same. The reflections off water(theses are geared toward marine use) can be a pain and contrast suffers. The flotation strap is a good idea, but you will get tired of the rough nylon covering rubbing on your neck in short order. ... Read more

One of the must-own soul albums, Greatest Hits is fattened with five extra tracks in this reissue. Al Green brought the Memphis Sound into the '70s by slightly softening it, melding smooth funkiness with his miraculous voice and innate sensitivity: his love songs, while perfect for the bedroom, are as conversational as they are blatantly seductive. By adding the likes of "Belle," a 1977 single that's a near-goodbye to the pop life, to the original lineup of "Let's Stay Together," "Look What You Done for Me," "Call Me," and the others, this edition of Greatest Hits also intriguingly fills out the story. --Rickey Wright ... Al Green is so good its not even funny.i recently got this cd and was really impressed by the extremely good arrangements in songs that only mr. Green could have dreamed up.I wish "take me to the river" was on here, but its on volume two, which you should also get.I don't even want to talk about it anymore, you just need to go get this cd.You'll think its the best.

5-0 out of 5 stars Beautilful Music
Upon its original release in 1975, Al Green's Greatest Hits pretty much summed up everything about Green, containing his ten biggest hits up to that point. A few years later, it was followed by a second volume, which contained hit singles that had charted since the release of the first collection. In 1995, the Right Stuff reissued Al Green's Greatest Hits, adding five of the highlights from the second volume of greatest hits as bonus tracks. The result was a definitive single-disc compilation, featuring 15 of Green's absolute best songs, including "Tired of Being Alone," "Let's Stay Together," "I'm Still in Love With You," "Call Me," "Here I Am," "Sha-La-La (Make Me Happy)," and "L-O-V-E (Love)." The original version of Greatest Hits was great, but the revision made it nearly perfect.

Weber's Genesis Silver B brings the convenience and precision of gas cooking to the great outdoors. This impressive system has enough cooking space for grilling gourmets to comfortably cook six large steaks, but the real value in this grill lies in its durability. 5-0 out of 5 stars Durable, easy to use, very good results
You won't go wrong with this grill. It lasts a long time - mine is 5 years old and looks like it will last at least 10 more.No problems with burners rusting away like other brands. Its easy to use - you turn it on, light it, wait 5 minutes, and away you go.Preparation area is satisfactory with the fold out extra shelf. The food results are very good due to even heat. Also, spare parts are readily available if you need or want new grates or flavor bars. Weber has more expensive models if you really want the extra features, but honestly, unless you are a BBQ fanatic, you likely don't need them.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Gas Grill
This is a great natural gas grill. It was very easy to assemble and is easy to clean. It looks great and cooks great. Since it is plumbed into our natural gas line it is always ready to use, no messy bottles to refill - love it!!!

    Editorial Review

This is the one jazz record owned by people who don't listen to jazz, and with good reason. The band itself is extraordinary (proof of Miles Davis's masterful casting skills, if not of God's existence), listing John Coltrane and Julian "Cannonball" Adderley on saxophones, Bill Evans (or, on "Freddie Freeloader," Wynton Kelly) on piano, and the crack rhythm unit of Paul Chambers on bass and Jimmy Cobb on drums. Coltrane's astringency on tenor is counterpoised to Adderley's funky self on alto, with Davis moderating between them as Bill Evans conjures up a still lake of sound on which they walk. Meanwhile, the rhythm partnership of Cobb and Chambers is prepared to click off time until eternity. It was the key recording of what became modal jazz, a music free of the fixed harmonies and forms of pop songs. In Davis's men's hands it was a weightless music, but one that refused to fade into the background. In retrospect every note seems perfect, and each piece moves inexorably towards its destiny. --John Szwed ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The Rembrandt of Music
This isn't just the greatest jazz music of all time, it just may be the best music ever recorded of any genre.Period.

5-0 out of 5 stars Absolute Perfection!
This is quite simply one of the best jazz albums ever created. Over the years I have collected several hundred albums by all different artists. I have a particular affection for trumpet, and especially for Miles.

This album was the first ever given to me, and is the gold standard by which all other music I have ever heard or owned is judged. My collection started with this and since has turned into a runaway train.

If I had to give up the rest of my music, I could survive for eternity with this album. There is nothing more to say, just listen.

5-0 out of 5 stars If you could only own one album for the rest of your life
If I was limited to five albums on a desert island, I would also take along "Dark Side of the Moon" by Pink Floyd, "Siamese Dream," by the Smashing Pumpkins, "Revolver," by the Beatles, "A Love Supreme," by John Coltrane, and "Strangeways, Here We Come," by The Smiths, but if I could only take one, it would be "Kind of Blue."

Simply put, "Kind of Blue" is the best record ever made, by any artist, in any genre of music, ever.It will survive any amount of playing; it is impossible to tire of this wonderful album. It is unlikely it will ever be surpassed. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars An inspirational read
I have taken a particular interest in reading books where the chief characters suffered abuses and overcame their traumas to become better persons in life. I am glad I did because there is so much to learn and be inspired by such books.Recommended stories are THE USURPER AND OTHERS, WHY THE CAGED BIRD SINGS, in the sense that they go to add to this rich theme.

4-0 out of 5 stars GoodYet Some Things Just Didn't Wash
Okay, I admit I was originally put out by the choppy, dialectal slang phrasing but, after a time, I got somewhat hooked and moved by this!
However;a few things though just didn't set right with me. One was what happened to Celie and Nettie's younger siblings after their mother's death? While Celie unceasingly went on about how strong the bond was between her and Nettie, a little explanation as to why neither of them showed the slightest concern for their younger siblings' fates wouldhave been good.
Celie mentions being attacked with Harpo with a rock on her wedding day because her 12-year-old new stepson wanted to rape her, but why didn't it occur to her to tell Albert what his son had tried to pull instead of keeping it to herself and therefore having no future impediment to Harpo's gross criminal behavior? And why was there never any further mention of this crime afterwards? I'd have thought that Celie would have enlisted Sophia's help in putting Harpo in his place when they wed .Instead, she advised Harpo to hit HER( Celie's female sisterhood seemed to faltera little here)! Good thing Sophia put BOTH of them in their places by telling them outright she was NOT going to be hit in her OWN HOME!
Why didn't Celie attempt to run away with Nettie? There was nothing whatsoever keeping Celie at Albert's house. She quite understably had no affection for the abusive Albert or his bratty children (and vice-versa) and she considered all the chores thrust upon her to be outright slavery. It would have been more compelling for the reader to have had Celie get inspired to better herself by being outraged by Albert's treatment of Nettie and sneaking away that night then reuniting with Nettie -only to have Albert track them down and force Celie to return by threatening Nettie and having THAT break Celie's spirit than to just have her immediately resign herself to staying with Albert and soonbelieving Nettie (and her own babies) were dead.
Why did Albert save all those letters from Nettie? He had no affection for her and he never even tried to blackmail Celie to do his bidding to give her access to the letters. Some explanation as to why he'd kept them would have helped!
Also, Nettie bemoaned the fact that the African village didn't accept her and Celie's children's adoptive father because they didn't marry after the adoptive mother's death. What was stopping them from getting married? If Nettie didn't want to sleep with him, a marriage in name onlywould have been no one's business and would have saved that family from needless misunderstandings and questions. It seemed here that Alice Walker was going to extra lengths to keep Nettie 'pure' by having her not 'lower' herself to marry or sleep with even an indisputablygood manas the missionary who'd raised Adam and Olivia. Wouldn't the church's elders back in the States not at least questioned why this unmarried woman was still living in the same house with a widowed minister? Their status wouldn't have been so easy to explain away to 1920's patronsof missionaries!
Interesting point about the forced tribal scarrings being the result of elders resisting Western ways. It might have seemed preposterous back in the 1980's to think folks still operated that way but, as the Taliban, etc. would prove in recent years that a rather valid observation of Ms. Walker's.
While the book seemed to try to sell Shug Avery as being Celie's salvation, I couldn't help but think it was Sophiawho proved to be the more constant friend to Celie. Not only was her take-charge burst onto the scene a MUCH needed breath of fresh air, yet even when she herself became beaten down and was totally demoralized, Sophia never ceased looking out for the interests of those she cared about. And she did it without expecting any kind physical interaction whatsoever (unlike Shug)!
While it was good seeing Celie get strong and Sophia revitalized at the end, I just didn't think that it would have been realistic for Celie to have been able to have earned her living by being a seamstress of womens' slacks in the 1940s.Still, the final part of the book with Celie being reunited with Nettie and her children was outstanding (and, unlike the movie, they DID speak English).I just wish they could have shown more of their lives afterwards and what their reactions to the Civil Rights movement would have been!

4-0 out of 5 stars The Color Purple
The Color Purple, by Alice Walker was a very interesting and realistic novel. In this book, Alice Walker dares to write about a topic that most authors are not brave enough to write about. She writes about the issues that young black women had to face during times of slavery and hardships. I recommand this book to everyone! ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Game Boy Color
I don't see all the hype in this portable gaming device. The games graphics are so terrible (So is Game Boy Advance). The only good Nintendo graphics is the brand new Nintendo DS which has Nintendo 64 graphics which isn't too shabby. But I really hate the Pocket and Color because it's a waste of money. Why would you get something in black and white with terrible graphics and then get one with only some colors (It's not that good) and plus the addition of bad graphics...now that's what I call a bad deal.

4-0 out of 5 stars great and fun
this isnt bad i have it and it works great i think this is better then alot of older systems like game boy or super nt but still its a good system.

3-0 out of 5 stars Ok..... but not as good as ngpc.
I got this system last year and it worked fine until a month ago. then the sound blew out. Also the graphics on many games suck. Still it's a hardysystem and I would recommend buying it if you like a classic look in color, but if you want something with good graphics, nice small comfortable size, and a motherload of great games, buy an NGCP(neogeo pocket color). ...
